The rooms were super clean and nice but the walls are super thin. There is a beautiful restaurant/bar on property but it stays open until 12am with loud music and you can hear the airplanes that fly over constantly. But otherwise, really great property.

It’s nice they had a pool. Unfortunately the 2 bedroom apartment i booked had some issues. when i checked in there were no towels and one roll of tissue. There were a few lizards in the apartment because of the unsealed windows and door. Dead bugs on the ceiling that were killed and not cleaned off. on my second night the ceiling started leaking by the bathroom doorway. And then there are just maintenance things that dont look like the pictures they post on the website. Rust ring around the table and rust markings on the floor. Some of the floor/wall tiles are cracked and just give low maintenance. i could tell they don’t replace the soaps and conditioners in the shower and just fill the bottle because of the clumps and stuff floating in the conditioner. overall wouldn’t book again unless your on a SUPER budget i wouldn’t recommend.

Do not book here. Nothing like the pictures on the listing. Paper thin walls, we could hear other couples arguing. The metal fixtures were rusted like the lamps and door hinges. The dead bolt was missing or removed which was very sketchy. The room smelled like mold and mildew. The nightstands were dirty and stained brown. There was many spots on the room that paint was peeling off. The caulk around the sink was dirty and coming off. Don’t even get me started on the bathroom. The tub floor was peeling off. The rubber mat inside the shower was disgusted and had a brown tint. I explained all this to the worker and he said that it was normal for a “vintage hotel”. I don’t know in what world “vintage” = dirty. We had to leave within the hour because it was not fit for accommodation and we felt extremely unsafe. We asked for a refund and the front desk worker said we’d have to go through Expedia. I went through Expedia and they said the property needed to approve the refund. That’s a big issue when the property staff won’t pick up the phone for expedias support. Once my Expedia agent said they were not answering the phone, I called with my own number and they picked up instantly. I believe the hotel is being shady and ignoring Expedia phone calls so they do not have to refund guests. STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL. I will be leaving reviews on all travel apps. I have pictures and proof of all of this. I want my refund asap.

The surrounds of the property are super nice .. a pool, a bar with an old school bus 🚌 to sit in .. good evening music , lots of chill out areas and beautiful gardens.. not far from main attractions , cruise ship port , MIA and supermarkets...

Check-in was easy and efficient, which was unfortunately the highlight of our stay.

The hotel bar was very unwelcoming unless you spoke Spanish. There were plenty of open tables and lots of staff, yet we were repeatedly overlooked while Spanish-speaking guests were served. Eventually, we had to go directly to the bar to order. We were charged $40 USD for a gin and soda and a can of beer—more expensive than airport prices. The bartender was unfriendly, and no one ever offered us a menu.

Our first room seemed cozy at first, but a strong lacquer or chemical smell quickly became overwhelming. Near midnight, we had to pack up all our belongings and go to the front office to request a room change. The odor was so strong that sleeping there didn’t seem safe (may of have woken up).

The second room solved the smell issue but introduced new problems. Traffic noise was extremely loud, rattling the windows throughout the night, making sleep nearly impossible. The shower leaked water all over the bathroom floor, and the room was only stocked with two bath towels—no hand towels or face cloths.

Overall, what should have been a relaxing stay turned into a sleepless and frustrating experience. Between the poor service, overpriced drinks, room issues, and lack of basic amenities, I would not choose to stay here again.

We stayed 3 nights. First set up f rooms had no towel rack. No place to hang clothes or set out cosmetics. No water glass. 2nd night another set of rooms. My sister’s room had bugs in the bed. They spread to her clothes. I asked for a refund. But was refused. Third night my sister found another bug in the room that she was moved to. She had three rooms. Three nights. All acceptable but we had paid n advance. Do not stay there.

This was a very charming inn. You’re within the little river community. Parking is a perk and it’s for hotel guests, so patrons going to the bar have to find parking outside. Staff is nice. 20-30 minute walk to Brickell, but you can take a trolley. Uber was $7 each way. Perfect location. We felt safe inside the blue house. If you go to sleep early or are a light sleeper I recommend bringing a sound machine. We were next to the drawbridge and can hear the chime when it was going up, this did not bother me. The bar is also open until about 11, not sure but the noise from the bar was definitely reduced after 11pm.

This was a little oasis downtown. It was a perfect location for our visit and we would definitely stay here again. The staff was very friendly and the room was clean and just what we needed. The River House that was attached to the hotel was fun and lively. Our bartender, Manny, was great.

We chose the shared bathroom and saw it clogged in the night, we called for it to be unclogged and no one showed up until the morning. The room itself was dirty, broken window shades, no smoke alarm, and the ac was not working at one point. I wouldn’t recommend, but it’s only convenient because of its location since almost everything is close by and walkable.

Shower was covered in mold, air conditioner was literally broken, room was 82 degrees the first two nights, till i couldn't sleep like that any more, cause there wasn't even a fan & i was moved to a different room. Much better room but wasn't offered a discount or anything for the first two nights of the stay. All i was told is, they were sorry the ac was broken, they were trying to fix it... Then don't rent a room, that isn't in working order.

It was a horrible experience from the time when we pulled up. The beds had all sorts of bugs over them. There was no towels and the couple of them that were there were ripped and shredded. We were both very tempted to go somewhere else, but we’re tired from traveling for 15 hours that day. The rooms were paper thin and you could hear everything going on in every other room. The tub had nomad in it and was very slippery. We had to use wash cloths on the floor of the tub to keep from slipping. The fan did not work and when I asked about getting somebody over there, they told me I would have to wait until in the morning and still even then nobody showed up.

Horrible stay. There was no indication that you will share a bathroom with other people on your floor when making the reservation online. The AC was broken and we asked about it everyday if they could fix it or if they could give us a fan. There was no accompanying until the last night, the third night they moved us.

I am not one to usually write reviews, but I loved staying at the Miami River Inn. The staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating. Our room was clean and charming. As first time visitors, the overall vibes of the place were very fun and welcoming. The Miami River Inn was located near all of our plans during our trip, making for easy transportation access. The property felt very safe as well. I would recommend this place to others and plan another stay as well!

Pros: close to the airport and to port and a short uber away from little Havana and downtown. Property is cute in a quaint Florida summer house kind of way. Bar on site was a cool vibe and seemed very fun. King bed was comfortable and the room seemed clean.
There is no individual air conditioning in the room it is central ac but I found the rooms a comfortable temperature.
Cons: there are no elevators. I would not recommend if you have mobility issues - even the reception desk is up a small set of stairs. Getting to our room on the third floor with heavy bags was somewhat difficult due to the amount of stairs. There was a place for us to store our luggage as we arrived early which was nice.
Many people were checking in at the same time and there was only one employee at the desk so it took a long time. We checked in at 4pm and some of the couples ahead of us were asked to wait an addtional amount of time for their rooms to be cleaned (even though check in was at 3pm).
The other negative was the noise. The restaurant had a DJ and was open until 0100 am with loud music. The hotel is also very close to major roadways and the traffic noise was very loud until very late at night. I used earplugs and had no issues with this but it may bother some.

This hotel would be a good option for younger travellers on a budget. If you’ve stayed at nicer hostels and dont mind taking stairs then you would enjoy it. I would not recommend to older people or those with mobility issues

We were in a two-bedroom, older apartment. It was clean. The apartment has two floors with the bedrooms upstairs. The stairs inside the apartment are steep even for young people. The bedrooms are a good size. The living area downstairs is a good size. I would stay here again. If you are a light sleeper, this location might not work for you due to traffic, parties, and roosters. Yes, roosters. 😂 The parking lot has about 20-ish parking spots total. There are a few parking spots on the street.

Lovely big rooms that are in little bungalows. The pizza at the onsite restaurant is amazing. Staff are so kind and remember you! Amazing front desk guy who helped me with my suitcase as there are some stairs but he makes sure you have a wonderful stay in Miami. Location is walkable if you’re happy to walk over the bridge and I enjoyed the ease of finding places to go.

The property is worn down and dirty. It’s falling apart and needs serious updates. My bedding was dirty, every sheet had a stain but when I told the staff he gave me ONE clean flat sheet and said “this is all I have” I let him know that I was allergic to down comforters and he didn’t have anything to offer me so I froze all night. There was some sort of TERRIBLE karaoke going on until 1am right outside my room. The bass was so loud it was shaking the bed. I didn’t sleep more than an hour and left this location as early as possible in the morning. This is not a hotel as advertised on Expedia. It’s a courtyard of old houses with NO ELEVATOR!!!! I carried my 60 pound suitcase up and down three flights of stairs! I would recommend for people to stay anywhere BUT this place.

Very unique and quaint hotel. Caution, there are no elevators, so book accordingly. The front desk graciously exchanged our 3rd story room for a ground floor. My sister and I are nearly 70 yrs. old, so that would have been impossible to climb three flights, especially with luggage. I would love to go back, but next time I am reserving a suite! There is no coffee available anywhere in the hotel, but there is a cafe one block down and over that has delicious (Cuban) coffee and breakfast.

DO NOT STAY HERE. These people have NO clue how to maintain a safe and hospitable stay. The lock plate on the door frame was bashed in rendering the lock and door handle useless. The rear sliding door, also had a broken locking mechanism, was terrible and half the lock plate was missing. The AC was completely crap. Very humid in the room. DO NOT be misled by these photos. I’m not even sure Expedia cares they are promoting a misleading hotel room. Oh and getting your money back is pretty slim. Expedia generally won’t refund and this hotel refuses to provide refunds. Be careful. You’ve been warned.

Parking was good. There was no a/c in room, only fan that worked with light on. There was no microwave, fridge, or coffee in room. The continental breakfast was a $4 fritatta and $3 cup of coffee. The room access was by touchpad on door . . We succeeded entry into room 6 out of 100 tries in 26 hour stay . . . Could not find restaurant within 9 block area . . The staff was very nice. In another time and situation, would have been amusing. We cut our stay short x 2 days

Shared vestibule for multiple rooms. Neighbors slamming doors late at night. Paper thin walls. Evidently one lady got very lucky and one was very disappointed. Covid era toilet paper. Not enough linens. No tv unless you sign into your own accounts. Not even close to enough parking on site; so your only option is to park on the street and hope your vehicle or you walking many blocks to the hotel don’t get abducted by the ghetto this hotel is in. For almost $400 per night definitely not worth it. Also safety locks are installed with small wood screws so if anything did go down you would have no protection….but speaking of protection $2 condoms in the lobby (so maybe some positive news?)

Hotel was fine for one night stay before a cruise. Unfortunately, no one told us that they had a very pleasant patio with pizza oven. That would've been a delightful way to spend an evening if we had known about it. We unfortunately drove into downtown Miami just to get a small bite to eat before leaving the hotel. We also had difficulty communicating with the hotel as we lost an item and we're hoping that they would be trying to call to us after leaving two messages. we did finally reach the hotel and we're notified that our item had been lost. You must also keep in mind that this hotel has no elevator so if you have a heavy suitcase or two, that may be a problem if you're on the second or in our case, the third floor.
On a positive note, there were too nice young woman working the front desk that were kind enough to let us access the hotels printer so we could print our luggage tags for the cruise line.

What you see isn't what it is. They never mentioned that my room shared a bathroom with another room, and besides, the bathroom was a mess—disgusting! I had to write every morning to get it cleaned. They kept the air conditioning off, which was another issue; the temperature was at 75 degrees every day, and they didn't understand how air conditioning worked. The service was terrible, and they have a bar downstairs that's constantly noisy, making it impossible to be in the room. People from outside come to the bar and use your parking space, and then you have to park outside. It's a complete disaster. What a disappointment.

When we arrived, the bed was physically falling apart. The slats under the mattress were on the floor and it was falling through the bed frame. We had two adults staying in the room, and there were only two towels total for the entire three night stay. No hand towels, no wash cloths, no towel for the floor. The lighting in the room was very poor and we couldn’t hardly see. The building has a musky smell to it and the staff aren’t very friendly or accommodating. We paid for an upgraded room and it was quite literally bare bones. The nightstand was also falling apart. I recommend staying elsewhere!!

Overall this is a fine place to stay. The staff were all helpful and kind. The hotel itself is an interesting, former apartment complex. The A/C in the room isn’t the best but the room does what it needs to do if you’re looking for somewhere comfortable to sleep. The bar area on site is a cool location and worth checking out.

The hotel is in a good area because you are close to many places you might want to visit. However, the rooms inside are extremely small compared to what they show in the photos. The bathrooms are shared with other guests, which I did not like, and the description did not clearly specify that. I’m sorry, but in my opinion it would be a 5 out of 10, although the service staff were attentive despite everything.

Bothroom was broken. Toilet wouldn't flush half of the time. People (guests) were so rude! We stayed on the second floor, we had a very early doctors appointment at Jackson Memorial Hospital and everyone on our floor must have been friends, all night stomping in the hallway going from room to room yelling, it finally eneded at around 2am! I will never go back to this hotel. The policy says to respect the property and the guests. They apparently don't care what the guests do. I did not get but 1 hour of sleep. If that. Front office staff were very nice. Other than that. Horrible experience.

Honest review - Its more affordable than anything in the are and close to downtown. The rooms were clean but the hotel is old and in need of some basic TLC. Parking is free but very limited and we had to park out on the street about a block away.

The small bar located on the property had a live DJ playing house music. Unfourtunatly for us, it was located directly outside of our room (#202).Typically we enjoy this type of music and scene, but it was way too loud... I mean, like night club top volume loud... and went on from the time we checked in at 4 until midnight. I'm sure this isn't a daily occurrence but for the one night we were there it was extremely disruptive and not restful at all. My advice, don't stay in rooms 201 or 202 if there's a DJ in the wine bar.

I’m not sure where to start, let’s just say I wouldn’t stay here again even if they paid me to! I actually ended my trip early because of how horrible this place is. From the outside looking in the place is aesthetically appealing with the whole Little Havana theme. However, that’s the only thing nice about it. The inside is filthy, bugs everywhere!!! I thought I was getting ate up by mosquitoes but no it was FLEAS! Even after switching rooms we didn’t even get unpack before noticing fleas in the new room as well. I ended trip early because I refused to stay another night getting bit up by fleas so I slept in the car my last night. Even after having video and picture proof I wasn’t offered any type of compensation for the inconvenience. As if the bugs weren’t bad enough the property has no elevator and guests are expected to haul their own luggage up and down 3flights of stairs if they’re any floor but the first! The noise I expected from the reviews so it didn’t really bother me even though there is a draw bridge the goes off about everything 30min-1hr. The AC was trash because you can’t control how cool your room is even though you’re in hot humid Miami with a ceiling fan that is only good for decoration because it barely works. This place is truly a nightmare, book at your own risk ⚠️ wish I could post pics and videos…

The property is so cute and there is a bar and little dinner area outside by the pool. It is loud at night so I wouldn’t recommend it if you have young kids or like to go to bed early. But we had a great time! Most of the staff spoke English as a second language and we struggled to communicate with some of the but everyone was nice.

I had a very short one-night stay to volunteer at the 305 Half Marathon. Prior to my arrival, I asked for a room away from the restaurant to avoid at least some noise, and they kindly obliged in a timely manner! I love how conveniently located this place is...not in the nicest neighborhoods, but within walking distance of Brickell.

Front desk personnel were very friendly and helpful. Room was clean. Note that there are no elevators at this hotel. We were on the 3rd floor and had to drag our heavy suitcases up the stairs.

If you’re looking to party and not get any rest, then this is your place. Chances are you will not get parking inside their gated parking lot. They have a bar that stays open till almost midnight so the guest for the bar take the parking spots forcing you to park your car in the street. The rooms are not soundproof so you hear the train, airplanes, and the loud partying from the bar. The rooms are extremely simple. Do not expect extra toilet paper or towels.

The room wasn’t terrible but it did smell a little musty, maybe from the moisture in the air. The toilet wouldn’t stop running and the bed creaked every time I turned. It seemed like a lot to ask of them when asking for towels. I also found a pill on the floor of the corner of the room from a previous stay. I will say the outside is beautiful and makes you feel like you’re in a tropical stay. I don’t think I would stay again though.

A cafe 2 blocks away…no side table lamp, no a/c, no where to hang clothes, little tiny black bugs in the bathroom (we were on the ground floor) the property itself is lovely
We had the front desk call us a taxi and we think it was a relative and I asked the $ to the cruise port -he said he had a meter so we thought ok…we pull up to the port maybe 7 minutes later and he said $50-I said not a chance! He showed me his phone and it said $42-I said nope, the ride from the airport to the hotel was $42 and that was 25-30 minutes! Gave him $35 and felt totally taken!! Shame on this hotel!!!

- No elevator, so if your room is not on the first floors be prepared to carry your luggage up some narrow stairs (no help available).
- When we got to our room air conditioning wasn’t working at all, when I communicated this to the front desk staff, they rudely invited me to request my money back on Hotels.com instead of offering a promo solution. After some time the hotel fixed the AC.
- There is a restaurant / bar in the hotel and music is loud until late night, since the hotel is very small, music is quite audible in the rooms, if you are up for this kind of entertainment, it is great, if you want to rest quietly, this is a problem. It should be clearly established in the property description.
- Last day, same problem with air conditioning, didn’t bother to talk to front desk.

What a little gem! The staff is so welcoming and friendly, they went above and beyond. The hotel itself feels like you stepped into a little oasis. The restaurant has the best pizza and staff. The room was so nice and spacious. We had a wonderful time and would definitely go back and visit.
