I complained that my A/C was not working when I checked in, and they fixed it. But it stopped working on the 2nd night again. Called the front desk and nobody looked into it. Pretty disappointed

L’hôtel est très moderne et contemporain. La seule fenêtre que nous avions était dans la salle de bain…de la chambre nous n’avions aucune vue extérieure. Aucun fauteuil ni canapé dans la chambre. La porte de la salle de bain est en verre givrée, et la lumière de la salle de bain reste allumée une vingtaine de minutes après utilisation. Ce qui est désagréable le soir et la nuit, la lumière éclairant la chambre au complet. Nous n’avons pas trouvé de façon ni d’interrupteur pour l’éteindre. Le dejeuner était très bon

Slept the first night and woke up realizing the sheets were stained and filthy. Absolutely disgusting only slept there 1 night during my 3 day booking. The rooms lighting makes its hard to see but once i noticed one spot, i saw the entire sheet was covered in stains. Very uncomfortable bed as well.

The complementary breakfast was horrible sausages was hard , eggs was watery , it was flies flying all around the food. The manager for that area was not helpful. The waiter was very rude , got upset when we asked for more juice. My first room had a bug on the bed the room smelled like so much bleach and other chemicals. When we went downstairs to tell them about the room we came back up & one of the cleaning staff were in our room tried to act like it wasn’t a bug there but it was and I have a picture. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel at all. They also have extra fees when you get there. Only good thing is you get your deposit back right away.

Apparently housekeeping had been cheating on their bed changes. My bed linen was found to be dirty, stains and human hair. Not very pleasant. This issue was resolved immediately with brand new linen. Hopefully it was an oversight by room attendant an not a trend.

The breakfast buffet was fantastic. It felt like a Hugh end hotel but the price was reasonable. It was close to the port so even though traffic was wild getting in to the port area we found getting there very central.

The hotel is very nice modern and clean. The location downtown is horrible. The restaurant was very short staff and only had one person waiting the bar and restauran, that poor lady. Not sure if the kitchen was short staff as well, but the pasta was very salty. Hotel does not have free parking and the parking garage is terrible, the elevator does not work and the stairs smells of urine.

The lobby/bar/breakfast area are all crammed together and very difficult to navigate with luggage in the mornings. The \"buffet breakfast\" had very few items, less than a typical hotel continental breakfast at a cheap hotel chain. I paid quite a bit extra to have this \"breakfast\" included.

The hotel is very high tech; however, most features did not work. When I checked in I received a welcome text that I could reply to if assistance was needed throughout the stay. I used it to report the TV and AC not working. The room was extremely hot despite being turned down as cool as it would go. Finally after 2 hours i went down to the desk to inquire about maintenance coming to check it out because the auto generated reply text said someone would be right up. Turns out, those messages go to a property in NYC and the Miami staff had no idea what text system i was referring to. Someone came to fix the TV but the AC issue was never fixed. I had to open the door to the hallway to let some cool air in. Definitely not worth the high cost just to be close to the Port. Will never stay again and do not recommend.

The room was clean upon entry and beddings were comfortable. I find that the amenities and furnishing are not very well maintained. The hair dryer had stains on it, the cupboard to our mini fridge was jagged and the black out curtains were not properly installed so it had left marks all over the wall.

-No chairs in the room. Just a Miss Muffet tuffet.
-No separate bathroom - frosted glass around a toilet and a shower within the room space, and a sink in the room itself. So there was very little privacy for each of us (spouse and I).
The bed was not very comfortable - a motorized raise/lower affair, maybe to compensate for no chairs or couch. But the price was that it wasn't as good for sleeping as a regular bed.
We called to ask for a chair to brought to the room, and the operator said sure. But it never arrived, though we were there for 3 nights. So no follow-through on that.
To top it off, the sink was clogged.
Positives include an excellent location, clean facility and generally polite staff...but again, poor follow through for us.
Overall, we don't understand how the ratings for this hotel are high. It's an example of the current trend to remove room spaces and furniture to save costs, while creating a cool vibe that seems to imply this is the way it should be.
We don't agree, and will not be back.

Room was extremely cold even after turning off the AC system. We don't know why at this point. We couldn't connect to Netflix or YouTube because the chromecast had some kind of problem they couldn't solve. Bed was kind of uncomfortable since looking like a king bed was divided in the middle. Besides that staff was really kind and friendly

Parking is in local parking garages. The only spot left was on the 6th floor…..no working elevator. We should have been given a better option with several knee issues in our party. There was lots to do downtown and the pool was nice. Beware of resort fee too.

Also, lost my wallet in downtown Miami and someone returned it to the front desk. they didn’t bother to call me to let me know my wallet was there, yet I was staying at the hotel? I have mixed feelings about the room I got. I booked a VIP suite. Though we did get the suite, it was an accessible room. It was spacious and well furnished, but the bathroom had a kind of \"hospital\" vibe with the accessible shower and toilet... Not the fancy VIP feeling I was expecting...
A coffee machine was available in the kitchen but not the coffee pods... Considering the price of the room, I really think the coffee pods could be included.
Also, the room is equipped with some mood lighting but it was not working properly. To set up the lighting in the bed room, I had to use the command panel located in the living room... Not really convenient. The hotel sent a handyman to try and fix the issue but it dit not work.

If you are a solo traveler and just need a place to lay your head this may be a suitable place. The room is a small box and if you have a companion you will come to know them more intimately than you would expect. The bathroom and shower are literally part of the living quarters and only separated by a frosted glass door (ours door did not shut). They promote the ability to “cast” to their smart TV’s but our was broke and attempts to fix it were unsuccessful. There is no place to sit besides the toilet or bed.
The rooftop pool doesn’t get much sun because there is a rooftop over it. The complimentary breakfast was good and the croissants were fresh and delicious. Don’t get excited about the “2 free drinks” - there are no options, only what they decide to offer. YOTEL is located conveniently to the bayside market place where there is ample sun and seating options.
