Staff at front desk are not very polite.

Also Guest services never showed up to my room. I ordered ice, after waiting an hour I had to go down stairs and request it with another front desk employee he was polite.
Another night fire alarms went off for 30 minutes and no announcement was made afterwards wether it was a a test,false alarm or a real fire. I found out when I went down through the emergency exit staircase and I ran into an employee who let me know what was going on. Overall the hotel is nice but for the price the service is not worth it. Valet is overpriced $75 per night. Except a couple employees who did a great job

The hotel was so nice I would come back every time I go to miami! We were only there for a short amount of time for a layover and we are so sad we couldn’t spend more time and use all the amenities! Regardless it was lovely, nice staff, easy check in, beautiful room and view, would definitely recommend!

So it said beach access which i took as being right off the beach, but that wadnt the case also it was only a mile or two from the port and took me like three hours to get there if the hotel would have had a shuttle or even towncar/ limo service would have really helped us out like we almost missed our cruise entirely!!!

I’m not sure if it was the balcony floor that made our feet really dirty as even though the room floor had black marks on they wouldn’t wipe off
We kept our shoes on
Maintenance being done at the pool floor, meaning with couldn’t get a lounger in the sun
Overall though we had a great stay and would recommend

Hi I'm not from Miami and this was my first time it was my Birthday weekend I paid for one of the most expensive rooms the skyline with a balcony and washer dryer and a stove. They totally was 2200.00 plus 100 a nite and valet was 75 dollars a night no matter what you're already paying which is ridiculous but if you don't use their ballet you have to walk way across the street with everything that you have. The staff was very rude and I shall not when it came to me trying to find a better parking spot or needing assistance with laundry or extra towels they lied consistently about coming up to the room and sending housekeeping when we saved almost 5 days they lied everyday and said that we have to say three days then we have to stay four days and then it went to the housekeeping only comes unless you stay over a week which was a lie. They were very lazy at this hotel the room had already had residue of something following in there before we came the staff again was very very rude and would not even help even the manager on duty that weekend from April 9th through the 14th. That was my first day there and my last you will be better off going somewhere else especially for the lousy housekeeping the lousy staffing and honestly the lousy room. It sucks but Miami was lit!!

1) They do not clean your room on a Dalily basis like any other hotel, they do it every 3 days !

2)when you ask for clean towels - it takes for ever for them to actually take them to your room.

3) staff is rude , specially some Hispanic girls at the check-in

4)The idiot at the valet parking scratched my car !
They charge $75 for parking!

It was a nightmare ! I do not recommend this hotel at all ! Please avoid

I enjoyed my stay. It was clean. Parking is just a headache and costly. Food was expensive. Three breaks meals shouldn’t be almost $160. That’s ridiculous. Overall, I was comfortable in my suite because it was clean and fresh. Every hotel room should have a microwave by the way. That was the most disappointing thing.

Property was overcrowded and the booking “fee” was unexpected on top of the room rate. I booked through Expedia with “VIP access” and none of the “perks” that were supposed to come with it were granted, except for the a late check-in that granted one extra hour. Elevators were the slowest I’ve ever encountered and the fact that the swimming pool turned into a public party at night made the situation much worse… good location, though, breakfast could be better, especially since the only two options were a bakery with a very limited selection of items and an associated restaurant “Casa Gianna” that was overpriced for the quality of service and food offer

Worst Customer Service Ever – Do Not Stay Here!
I’ve never been so disappointed with a hotel stay in my life. I stayed at the Gail Hotel for four days and paid over $1200 for the privilege, only to be treated horribly. The customer service was absolutely terrible, and I’m honestly shocked that a hotel could operate like this.
First off, I had a package delivered there, and it took me until the very last day of my stay to finally receive it. The guest services team was unhelpful and rude—every time I inquired about my package, I was interrupted mid-sentence, transferred repeatedly, and at one point, they hung up on me. It was beyond frustrating.
The restaurant service was equally bad. The gratuity is already included, so I think the staff just doesn’t care about providing decent service. The food was mediocre at best, and the staff wasn’t attentive at all. It’s clear they don’t make an effort when they’re guaranteed a tip regardless of the quality.
The room was bare minimum—cheap bottled water and no tea in the room, which is a standard offering in most places. No amenities, no effort. When I checked in and checked out, there was no bellman to help with my bags, which was incredibly inconvenient. I had to carry my own luggage both times. Even the valet was sloppy and lazy—just no professionalism anywhere.
To make things worse, I was charged a different price for valet parking every single day. I paid over $1200 for the stay for 3 days by the way

Great location. Great shops and bars/restaurants in the same block. Amazing vibe in sushi restaurant. Very clean. Helpful staff. Accommodating for early arrival and late checkout. Suites are roomy and affordable. Quiet rooms. Quiet floor. Easy 8 minute walk to port Miami for local shopping, bars and port experience. Only 15 minute Uber drive to ocean drive and south beach.

The property was beautiful, my flight was canceled the day I was to arrive and I couldn’t get their until the next day, I called them the night before and a note was supposed to be left on my account, arrive and was told my reservation was posted as a no show.. frustrating at first but it was rectified within 15 minutes. I appreciated the quick fix.
Pool area was a bit chilly but nice and the hotel was beautiful, Asthestic friendly! One morning we had a waitress who was not friendly at the on site restaurant but other than that day it was fantastic!

This is my third time staying at the Gale. I LOVE the gym. Everything you’ll ever need is there. The apartments are a great size and the balcony is perfect (though a bit noisy during the day due to all of the construction). A solid 9/10

The hotel itself was nice and very conveniently located in downtown Miami, which made it easy to get around and enjoy the area. However, there were a few aspects of the stay that were disappointing.

First, the hotel staff consistently did not answer the phone, which made it extremely difficult to get assistance when needed. It’s unclear how guest requests are expected to be handled if communication is so limited.

Second, there were no microwaves available in the rooms, which was inconvenient—especially for a stay of more than a day or when bringing back food.

Lastly, the pool closing at 7:30 PM was surprisingly early, particularly for a Miami location where guests often expect to enjoy amenities later into the evening.

Overall, while the location and property itself were solid, these factors impacted the overall experience and could be improved to better meet guest expectations.

The hotel location is excellent and very convenient, especially for attending the Ultra Music Festival at Bayfront Park. Everything was within walking distance, which made the trip much easier.

However, the service experience was disappointing. At check-in, we were assigned a room on the 44th floor. When we entered the room, I noticed debris/sticky residue on the bed wall, which was unacceptable for a hotel at this price level. I reported it to the front desk and was told housekeeping would come, but we waited for 3 hours with no follow-up or communication. This wasted our time when we should have been resting.

After going back down to the front desk, I spoke with the manager, who apologized and arranged a room change since housekeeping was unavailable. Although I appreciated the response, the situation could have been handled much better from the beginning.

Another issue was the complimentary wine included with our reservation. The staff repeatedly mentioned it, but we only received one bottle after 3 days. Additionally, the manager promised to waive the $157 resort fee due to the inconvenience, but it was still on the bill at checkout. I had to address it again with the front desk, and it felt like they were reluctant to resolve it until I showed proof.

Overall, the location is fantastic, but the service and housekeeping standards did not meet expectations for a hotel of this level. Traffic around the hotel during checkout was also very heavy due to the festival, which

Clean room , nice pool area , however I never seen a staff with less than minimal customer service . They all looked and act like they don’t want to be there . Toilet Clifford several times , balcony was very dirty and dusty . We were facing a full blown construction site , very loud from early morning to night . I won’t recommend this hotel at all . Keep in mind this hotel charge extra dollars for some property fees that we were not aware . Find yourself another hotel that you give you at least a smile for the buck .

Full Breakfast was disappointing and was limited to a breakfast platter. Anything other then items are breakfast platter were charged as extras. Dinner entree did not include pasta had to order a pasta appetizer to go with p chickem parmigiana entree. Message hotel several days before arrival to ask about upgrades or special options for wife's birthday and messages were never returned.

We came in via train from Orlando for the Heat game and it was the perfect location to be able to walk everywhere we needed to get to.

I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking to stay in the downtown area. The staff maintained the property perfectly during one of the busiest weeks in Miami. They were friendly and prompt with everything I needed and the hotel offers rooms to suite any size group, wonderful amenities, and a great location. Gale will definitely be my go to any time I am in miami.

The hotel itself was really nice and in a great location if you want to be close to popular spots in Brickell. However, the experience was kind of ruined by the staff. The people working at the pool were rude, and the staff at the restaurant on the pool level were the same way. Also, if you’re planning to wear a cute or fashionable outfit, be careful.. they might not even let you in. They definitely gave off a “better than everyone” vibe, which wasn’t it at all.

I had a very disappointing stay at this hotel. Upon arrival, the TV in our room was shattered, which immediately set a negative tone. There were no towels provided, and when we called room service to request some, we waited over two hours before receiving anything.

The bathtub was also clogged and unusable during our stay. Housekeeping was another major issue, when we asked about cleaning, we were told it would be done on the third day, but no one came until it was time for us to check out.

Additionally, the security guards were rude when we were simply trying to access the pool, which made the experience even more uncomfortable. There was also no hotel guide or clear instructions on how to use the elevators, which was frustrating and inconvenient.

Overall, customer service was very poor, and basic standards were not met. I would not recommend staying here.

NOTE: When staying here, if you are planning a staycation or renting a car, valet is not included with your stay and they generally did not have any information about the best place to park your vehicle. Most of the employees said they didn't know...

I actually did not have a beach view AT ALL, it was the view of the bayside which isn't terrible, but definitely not what was paid for.

I was promised a free bottle of wine but I never received it. I asked the desk about it and they said they ran out, which inherently was no problem, but I was ensured that I would receive it before I checked out on Sunday. I followed up about it Saturday night and to no avail... (and didn't get it at checkout either).

At times, when calling the front desk from the room phone, I was left on hold for about 20 minutes. I eventually hung up and someone finally answered when I called the front desk from my personal cellphone.

The pool was really nice and relaxing and the gym facility was amazing. And despite the view not being what I paid for, the room was really nice and clean. I never got to experience the spa because they were \"overbooked.\"

In the end, I still had a decent stay despite the lack of help or knowledge from the staff. The best staff member I came in contact with was the bellman Mingyar, when I was checking out. He was super nice, conversational and very helpful when it came to packing car and telling us the best place to pull up on the side of the hotel.

I am beyond disappointed with my stay at the Gale. It is clear they only care about money, not the resident experience. I was hit with a mandatory $35 fee for 'amenities' like WiFi and the pool, which is ridiculous because I didn't even use the pool, but they charge you for it anyway 'per policy.'

The room itself was disgusting. There was a large coffee stain on the couch, and the curtains and towels were stained as well. To top it off, they have a policy where they only clean rooms for stays of 3 nights or more. Since most people are there for a 2-night weekend, you’re basically paying premium prices for a dirty room with zero housekeeping. The staff is unprofessional and only seems to care about the pool area, which is only one small part of a stay. Save your money and stay somewhere that actually values cleanliness and professional service.

We had such a wonderful stay at Gale Miami Hotel & Residences. From the moment we arrived, everything felt clean, modern, and welcoming. The rooms were spotless, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was beautiful and well maintained.

The breakfast was delicious and a great way to start our mornings. Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t the best during our stay, so we didn’t get the chance to enjoy the pool, but we would definitely love to experience it next time.

What truly stood out to us was the staff. Everyone was kind, professional, and made us feel so comfortable throughout our stay. Their service really made the experience top-notch.

This trip was extra special for us as a family, as it was our first vacation since 2019. Thank you, Gale, for creating such a memorable experience for us, we truly appreciate it. We will definitely be back!

I checked into the hotel. It was a very nice room. This one is supposed to come with pots and pans because there was a kitchen. There were only two pots. I requested from the front desk for pans and towels. All they brought me those towels and more coffee pods. I didn’t ask for more coffee pods. I asked for towels and pots and pans. Mentioned it about three times to the front desk people but the girls don’t speak English. Didn’t receive them until two days later. The first two evenings I slept in the king bed. Room 1215. The next evening I slept in the smaller day. I woke up the next morning with bedbugs all over my legs. To the hotel, trying to tell me that it is mosquitoes and not bedbugs. Mosquitoes do not bite in cluster forms. Bedbugs do. Here is a picture of my leg with clustered bites. I spent $20 on hydrocortisone cream. They finally moved me to a new room. The manager ISSA was very kind. Very respectful. The clerks at the front desk do not know what they are doing. They do not speak English. The manager from my checkout date I think his name is Andy he was telling me it’s a mosquito you’re in Florida. You’ll be fine. UMMM NO it’s not. They did not give me any compensation

The hotel itself was beautiful and the property was well maintained. However, my experience at checkout completely ruined what would have otherwise been a great stay.

Before leaving, I specifically asked if there were any remaining charges and requested a printout of my bill. I was told there was nothing due except a $35 resort fee and that I didn’t need a receipt. About an hour after leaving, I checked my account and saw that my credit card had been charged nearly $400.

To make matters worse, this was not even the original card used for the reservation—my wife had already paid in full. My card was only provided at check-in.

I had to drive an hour back to the hotel, and staff could not give a clear explanation for the charge. There was no manager available, and I was simply told the money would be refunded in several days.

Unacceptable handling of a serious billing issue. Nice property, but the lack of accountability and professionalism at checkout is a major concern.

Fabulous large suite and the hotel manager very kindly gave us a two bed unit for more wardrobe space. Nice Italian restaurant and bar and coffee shop serving a range of pastries.

The pool lobby is beautiful, room beautiful, the view was ehh but last time i stayed it was a gorgeous view from the balcony and the amenities were great. Free sangria and very clean, free beach access etc.

The pool was magnificent and refreshing. Gorgeous views of the ocean and departing cruise lines. Our room was magnificent. Beautiful view of Miami downtown. The restaurants provided delicious foods and options to sit in and eat as well as to take back to your room and enjoy. Very highly recommend if you'd like a luxurious stay where you know every penny has been well spent.

We had an excellent stay and truly enjoyed every moment at this hotel. Our room was beautiful, with an incredible view, and everything felt exceptionally clean, modern, and well-maintained. The bedsheets were especially soft and luxurious, which made our stay even more comfortable. The Hotel had umbrellas readily available which came in handy as it rained all Sunday.

The staff was outstanding—particularly the hotel reception team and security, who were always professional, attentive, and quick to answer any questions we had. We did attempt to request a late check-out, which unfortunately wasn’t available, and that was a bit disappointing so maybe inform clients at check in that due to being fully booked, late check out will not be available.

Dining was a highlight of our experience. Breakfast at Casa Gianna was excellent, and our experience at Restaurant Yamashiro was beyond exceptional—both the food and service were top-tier and truly memorable.

The spa was also wonderful. Although we encountered a few minor issues, management handled everything swiftly and professionally, making us feel seen, valued, and appreciated. A special thank you to the spa front desk staff for their outstanding professionalism and care.

My only small suggestion would be to consider upgrading the robes, as the material was a uncomfortable and caused me irritation and itchiness.

Overall, we had a fantastic experience and highly recommend this hotel. We look forward to returning soon!

Largest silverfish I have ever seen in my life in our hotel room tucked in the towels. No toilet paper left in room or robes. Had to ask 3 times for toilet paper. Phones stopped working. However on the flip side the property is new, and beautiful. Good location. Don’t expect to be able to charge drinks to your room at the pool side bar - or to use cash.
