The Good: Staff was extremely helpful and friendly.
Great location, especially if you are just staying the night prior to going on a cruise.
The not so good: Our room wasn't the cleanest room I've ever seen...it wasn't enough to call someone, but could have just used another vacuuming maybe. Waiting for the elevator on check out day was AWFUL. We waited 15 minutes...couldn't have taken the stairs due to how large/heavy our luggage was. Seemed like a one-off situation though, so giving that a pass.

The staff at yve was friendly , the rooms were clean but a bit on the smaller side and the washroom was tiny . The area was good, bayside market was across the street . Overall great place to stay if you’re catching a cruise .

The location was great. The VIP shuttle from the hotel to the port was fantastic. The room sucked. Two towels, one hook, no counter space in the bathroom. Shower drain didn’t drain. The water pressure was terrible. Waiting for the elevators was terrible. The curtain didn’t open. The furniture was dirty. They initially didn’t give me the correct room and tried to blame Expedia. All this for $300 for one night. But again the location was fantastic.

I would consider this an economy hotel. The location is excellent very close to Bayside and Kayesa Arena. The rooms are small not much room around the king bed. No chair just a foot stool to sit on. The bathroom is tiny and the fixtures are old. The a/c unit was noisy. The bed was comfy and the unit was very clean. No on-site parking but a good valet service. For $200 a night it’s good value for doentown Miami. Overall I would rate it 3 stars.

Expedia sucks! This hotel was inhabitable and we did not stay here! The place was filthy and the room was horrifying, with feces, hair, blood, and mold throughout the room. The shower did not work and the faucet fell off. Blood on the sheets and on the floor. Looked like a crime scene. Could not get a staff member on the phone and had to track down an employee who refused to look at the room. She removed our reservation because the room was completely filthy. We want a refund immediately. We had to find another hotel to stay at for the evening! Shame on Expedia!

Small, cramped, elevator is a disaster. The beds do not have comforters. Only two sheets and a thin blanket in between them. 2 elevators that are extremely slow. When leaving, we waited 15 minutes at the elevator, it only opened twice in that time, and was packed completely full both times. My dad with a broken wrist and I had to lug our suicases down 6 flights of stairs to leave. The valet is right in the busy road so you have to park half way in the street in the traffic to give them your keys. When we arrived, the valet wouldn't come over to the car. My dad got out of the car and walked up to the valet to ask him to come over for our car, and he ignored him. I had to fully turn the car off in the middle of the road and walk over to the valet with the keys before he would even acknowledge that we were there. There were no other customers waiting or interacting with him at this point. The only good part of this hotel experience was the closeness to the Kaseya center for the event we were attending. I would not recommend staying here unless it is a complete last resort. The price in no way reflects the experience of staying here.

Overall, this hotel was just okay. The room itself was average and had a few issues. When we arrived there were no towels, the fan system was super loud, the sink drained very slowly, and the elevators were quite small, which made getting up and down with luggage a bit inconvenient.

That said, the location was fantastic. It’s incredibly close to Bayside Park and the Bayside Marketplace area, making it very easy to walk around, grab food, or enjoy the waterfront. It was also a convenient place to stay the night before our cruise.

If location is your top priority, it works well - but the room itself could definitely use some improvement.

The room we had was the smallest one we've ever been in beside a hotel in NYC. The bathroom was so small that the toilet was at the back of my legs while standing at the sink - which was at my stomach (I'm not a big person) There were 2 elevators but only one worked, it was only big enough for 4 people and a couple suitcases. We were on the 8th floor so every time we needed to go up or down the elevator was full. We ended up having to carry 6 pieces of luggage down 8 flights of stairs because of this so we could catch our transportation to the port of miami for our cruise. We never got washcloths and only had 2 towels in our bathroom. We kept asking for more but it was a struggle. FInally got 2 washcloths, we were there for 3 days so this was unacceptable. The bartender in the restaurant was nice but the food and drinks prices were outrageous. Also no fridge or microwave in the room. Breakfast buffet was $49.00 per person with limited choices. We struggled to communicate with the staff because they didn't speak good english, especially the housekeeping staff. The front desk staff were nice but sometimes difficult to understand. We booked this place because it was closest to Port of Miami and was reasonable. That's probably the best thing I can say about this hotel.

We came to Miami for an overnight to see Lady Gaga Mayhem Ball. We arrived during a blinding rainstorm to find the lobby of the hotel SRO. They have a strict 11am check-out and 4pm check-in policy. As the rain stopped some folks headed out. We and 7 other parties hoping for early check-in remained in the lobby. Two were families with young children and the rest—like me—were elderly. We sat all day. At 3:30pm some airline stewards came in and were given rooms. At that point—several of us stormed the front desk with one man screaming at the manager—a stone faced young woman. We were able to check-in—shower and have our dinner before the show. The room itself was fine—it was small but comfortable for our needs. Surely they could have prepared seven rooms for those of us sitting in the lobby. We did not feel welcome as a result.

I visited Miami for vacation and stayed at this hotel for one night. I arrived at the hotel around 3 PM, and there were two receptionists at the front desk. I asked one of them—a shorter woman—about the check-in time, and she told me it was 4 PM. I then asked if early check-in was possible and said I was willing to pay an additional fee. However, the receptionist responded with an annoyed tone and an unfriendly attitude. She looked bothered and answered my questions in a rude manner, which made the experience very unpleasant.

When I finally got to the room, I found a small fly inside. The bathroom sink drained very slowly, and after taking a shower I tried to use the hair dryer, but it was broken. I went down to the front desk to ask if I could replace it with another one, but I was told there wasn’t one available. In the end, I had no choice but to go to bed with wet hair.

Overall, this stay was quite disappointing.

AWFUL!!!! Franny at front desk was kind. Liz and Claudia were rude and down right mean!! Refused to call Frederico the hotel manager, stated “he’s in a meeting.” Waited in cramped lobby with many others for 5 hours for room to be ready. After 5 hours, 3 United Airlines employees came in and received their rooms immediately. 5 different families approached the front desk and ONLY THEN our rooms were ready. Room was hot and stuffy!! Room phone did not work. Mattress was lumpy. Walls are paper thin!! TV kept going in and out. Notified Claudia and NOTHING was fixed. WORST hotel stay ever!!!!

The photos of the hotel posted are NOTHING like the hotel in real life. The hotel is dated, unkempt , dirty and the rooms are extremely small. The air conditioning is extremely loud to a point we couldn’t sleep. The soap dispenser was broken. I’m not a complainer but I had to write a review to warn others. The location is great though. That’s the only plus. I would NOT return to this hotel.

The shops were great, loved the bayside shops. Room was clean, but had to move the house cleaner out when we checked in at 4:30... Day two no hand towels again, but one wash cloth this time.. needed ice on this trip, so went to 7th floor to get some, no luck. went to floor 10, no luck... so since I didn't have hand towel and no luck with ice machines, went to main lobby..Attendent seemed upset that I didn't go up another floor to get ice, and told me I should have called about missing towels, not come down to main lobby... Well if ice machines were working on the 2 upper floors, I would have done so. But, with this being my second time here and having all kinds of issues recurring with missing towels, and now finding out ice machine didn't work... I am coming down to the main lobby and this cite to complain. I DO NOT RECOMEND THIS HOTEL. WE STAYED HERE BEFORE AND AFTER OUR CRUISE IN A BASIC ROOM AND A SUITE AT THE END OF OUR CRUISE. DO NOT BOOK

Unfortunately, they were down to 1 elevator due to repairs on other, which made leaving for our cruise more difficult. The bathroom is super tight and they didn't supply wash clothes or hand towels. It is in a great location, and staff seems good, just not exactly where I would recommend.

Check in is very late in the day, it’d be more convenient if it was earlier. The elevator was the worst part super tiny and slow. No pool which was a bit disappointing, but you have the gym, which doesn’t offer much variety. The room was not as expected, small room and very teeny tiny windows in the room we stayed in. The WiFi didn’t work while there, the tv worked in a sense for satellite channels and the guide to the channels wasn’t even working you had to go one by one to reach something you don’t even know what your watching - overall I will not be staying here nor recommending, only reason I chose this hotel was due to proximity of the kaseya center but I’d rather travel 20 min out of my way for decent stay in Miami

The location was the best part of this this hotel, the staff was nice and friendly. The pictures on the website are so very misleading so disappointed🙁 the lobby is beautiful, but that’s where it ends. Our room is outdated rug was dirty and literally you could see the floor underneath. Also look like it hadn’t been vacuumed. Mattress was horrible. You sunk in the middle from both sides. Furniture was worn and outdated absolutely no amenities not even tissues and there were no hand towels.

I apologize, I usually don’t rate, however, I feel like people should be aware. We found the lobby music quite loud (all hours). The room had no facecloths, hand towels, bath mat, and only 1 large towel. There were no staff around to ask for an extra towel or anything needed. The room was quite dated and the headboard was all scratched up like an animal had gotten to it. 😬 Unfortunately, this is not the place for me. It served us the purpose we needed for 1 night.

Room 508 - I wanted to leave immediately after check-in. Toe nails, human hair and general filthy carpet in the entire room. Bathroom was even worse, no hand towels, no wash cloth, tub was cracked and had stains in several areas. Lighting fixtures have visible rust in bathroom and by nightstand. It is clear that NO EFFORT is being made for upkeep of this property. Location was great. Building needs to be torn down and replaced ASAP.

Got the job done. Close to the cruise port. Very close to a cool park and mall with anything you could want for food and shopping. Room cost is fair price for the area. If you’re looking for more than a clean and adequate place to stay, feel free to pay way more at other places. This place worked fine for us. Parking is a tad steep price-wise but there aren’t many options in the area. Will definitely use again on our next cruise. Staff was courteous and genuine.

From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the stay was going to be a challenge. The front desk ladies seemed put off by us, but we tried to brush it off. However, when we returned to our room after a day out, we were shocked to find that it hadn't been cleaned. We had specifically chosen this hotel because Expedia's website promised daily housekeeping. When we questioned the front desk, they claimed that we should have requested housekeeping services in advance. The manager's explanation that housekeeping hours are from 7 AM to 9 PM and that they were short-staffed only added to our frustration. As paying customers, we expected our room to be maintained as promised. The front desk's offer of a discount was a hollow gesture, and the apology message they sent was too little, too late.

Location was convenient to the Bayside Marketplace. BUT the hotel was awful. There was not enough toilet paper. We went down to reception to ask for toilet paper and they didn’t have any. They said they’ll send someone up to give it to us. 1 hr, 2 hrs passed and still no toilet paper. We decided to go out for lunch. When we came back, we used the toilet downstairs in the lobby. Someone exploded in one of the stalls. There was poop all over. Gross!
We figured by the time we came back, the room would be cleaned. We walked into the room and 1 bed was made but the other bed was not finished. Checked the bathroom and still NO toilet paper. We had to go find housekeeping on other floors to get a roll. REALLY?
Night time is noisy with the loud music from the restaurant downstairs. There was also construction going on across the street in the morning.
The only positive is the location. There is a CVS across the street and restaurants a couple blocks over. And you can store your luggage in the lobby if you have a late flight. But I would not book again. Housekeeping needs a lot of improvement.

I am giving it a 4 star for the lady who checked me in was very nice. The room didn't have any draws to put my stuff only a closet and my refrigerator did not work. I called maintainace and he did come and help but it stopped and I did not want to call him back. The room was small for me, it looked bigger in photo. Great place to stay the night if your cruising out of Miami. Very clean and updated. The staff was great, check in was quick. The offer a shuttle to the port for a small fee. About the same as an Uber. The restaurant on site was excellent!!! 1 drawback was the size of the room. A bit tight, but for 2 people it worked. Will be back if we cruise again out of Miami.

The elevator was extremely slow. We were charged a huge amount for a so-called \"penthouse\" room which was very, very small and contained two beds that were barely doubles. The room was clean but there wasn't enough rooms in the bathroom to turn around. Very disappointing. We did ask for a later checkout and were given one.
