We booked a king size bedroom, and was surprised to find it came with a microwave and a mini fridge! That was so nice to keep our medicine cool. So for the price, we’ll definitely stay there again!

Well, It’s good to know you are basically UNDER a busy railroad. With the fan or A/C running, you could hardly hear it in the main bedroom area. It’s run down, nasty box springs, tiny flat screen tv. But beds were comfortable, grounds were maintained fine, staff was helpful when we wanted an early check-in.

Stayed with my dog and grandson. It worked.

I had an extremely disappointing experience at this motel and would not stay here again. The problems started immediately at check-in, where the front desk employee was rude and unwelcoming. After a long day of traveling, that was not the kind of service we expected.

The room itself was even worse. There was absolutely no hot water during our stay, which made showering and basic comfort impossible. To make matters worse, housekeeping never came once during our entire 5-day stay. We eventually ran out of toilet paper and had to deal with that ourselves.

The worst part of all is the location. The motel is right next to train tracks, and trains pass by constantly, making it incredibly noisy at all hours of the day and night. Getting a decent night’s sleep was nearly impossible.

Overall, this was one of the worst motel experiences I’ve had. Between the rude staff, lack of hot water, nonexistent housekeeping, and constant train noise, I cannot recommend staying here.

This place should be condemned, I can’t believe Expedia recommended this I was afraid of catching something or my car being broken into let alone feeling unsafe and I took photos. I am expecting a full refund as I did not stay another night . The roads surrounding the location were closed, it took me more than hour just to access the property! Between road construction all night and train traffic I barely slept ! It was very disappointing to have to deal with something like that! I really feel Expedia needs to do a better job vetting properties to prevent this type of disservice again! I am not happy,

Firstly, being right by the 76 and by Franks Restaurant is a plus.

Unfortunately, I cannot give the place a good review. Room 222 didn't have bedbugs, but that's more of a silver lining.

The train being by the motel will be rough if you are a light sleeper or not used to trains. The restroom for 222 was severely damaged, tiles were held up by blue painters tape. The shower was very dingy and definitely hadn't been cared for by hotel management. While niche, I was a full 6-7 inches taller than the shower head and couldn't take comfortable showers (I am 6 feet tall)

It's a budget hotel, it's reasonably close to the hospitals and the riverfront Park. The parking is convenient. The staff are always nice. There is a Starbucks one block away that opens at 4:00 a.m. There is a grocery outlet one block past that. There is also a good breakfast place right across from the motel, as well as a teriyaki restaurant right off the parking lot.

Had to change rooms upon checking in. First room tv didn’t work. Bathroom sink was clogged. Nice front desk lady. I was very respectful and nice to her as well when I asked to change rooms. General area had lots of trash and dumpsters. Homeless people dumpster diving. Bad carpets. Blackout curtains in disrepair. Second room was much cleaner. Many power outlets didn’t work properly. Motel is by railroad tracks. Noisy trains moving by a lot. But I like trains so it didn’t bother me much.

Great diner across the street. Frank’s Diner. This alone made up for the flop house feeling. Also close to Grocery Outlet for a cheap booze run. Not completely bad but not worth 92 bucks. Would only stay there again to go to Frank’s Diner. That was fabulous. Spokane people are very friendly.

Hotel concept was great. Just needing a huge spruce up. Could be a great property someday if they invest in repairs.

Worker was nice enough when I checked in, but that’s about the only good thing I can say about Tiki Lodge. There were homeless people screaming and waving knives at each other in the parking lot. The curtains had what appeared to be mold on them. Multiple lights did not work in my room. There was a large stain on the carpet. People yelling outside all night with frequent train noise. The sink was cracked and damaged. It appeared as though the door to my room had been damaged before, as if someone had tried to break in.

When I first saw that the Tiki Lodge was available and discounted, and then I could use my one cash towards it, I was excited as I remember it being clean and well looked after a few years ago.
I suppose nothing good can ever last, as the first disappointment came when I put in a request for an accessible room, and instead it was given one I had to climb a flight of stairs to reach. I was disappointed with the trash in the parking lot and the. Dirty, rude guests hanging around doing drugs in the parking lot.
The second disappointment came after climbing the stairs and fighting the stained, carved on door to gain entry to my “accommodations”.
The hole we were assigned had ancient carpet covered in red stains that someone had attempted to remove at some point but only succeeded in bleaching the carpet around them. The walls were speckled and smeared with years of careless guests contributions to the decore in various, rather crusty forms. The furniture, full of holes and also boasting a healthy layer of human goop, had stains, holes, and drawings on them. The drawers in the tv stand/dresser as well as the night stands all contained crumb mountains in the inside corners.The tops boasted splatter-smear style artistic food and fluid based touches just like the walls. The floor thru out gave fentanyl pills, liquor bottles cigarettes, tags, etc. sheets were not washed. Bath moldy. No TP!!!

I was looking for a basic no frills hotel for an overnight stay. The staff was very helpful & nice for check in, the room was perfect, and the best thing was that the room heater worked perfectly and ran quietly! Also, 2 blocks down was Iron Goat Brewery which was a great place to relax after the drive. There are homeless in the neighborhood but there were no problems.

It was disgusting. The two employees there are horrible. The room smelled of urine, no screens on the windows and they were not even on track. The bed linen was dirty with stains and I was told that they ran out of linen so it would be a while to get clean linen because they had to wash some. There was no hot water and it was just nasty! I checked in at 5pm and checked out at 8 pm. They would not give me a refund due to all sales being final. I don't know what to do next in the way of getting a refund but I can warn off any potential people staying there.

Staff was helpful and nice but there was not staff available all the time. Room was not clean (hair and grime throughout). Water pressure was over the top making a shower with no pressure adjustment uncomfortable. The main parking lot has multiple large trash containers in it causing a smell when you leave your room. Many transients loitering in the parking lot/property and on neighboring properties. Primary food was a gas station. Restaurant across street was good but small so it took a bit to get a seat on a Sunday morning.

Terrible property. No smoking signs everywhere but our room had cigarette burns everywhere in the carpet. Very uncomfortable bed with flat empty pillows. Very dirty carpet. Most of electronic outlets didnt work. People outside our room were digging through garbage bins. We felt very unsafe. Staff very unfriendly. When we got there, lady was smoking right outside of the door and then proceeded to tell us we will get a fee if we smoke 20 feet within the property. Treated us likke an inconvenience since we interrupted her smoking with her friend. Scary looking people wandering through parking lot at night. Our room smelled bad. No refunds available so we were stuck. Towels had stains on them. Horrible place, should be shut down.

I booked at the last minute on a Saturday night, and this was the cheapest accommodation I could find that had any space left in Spokane (which is always a red flag). When I arrived, I saw what looked like working girls leaving the hotel. After that, a car kept cruising through the parking lot and stopping whenever a few individuals approached. I don't know if transaction were happening, but it didn't give me confidence that my motorcycle would be there in the morning. So, I stripped off my panniers and put my locks on the bike. I also left my front curtain open slightly to keep an eye on it. The hotel can't do anything about the area that it's in, but it seems like they didn't really try to keep it clean. I ate at a local eatery that was a block away called

I travelled on a budget and alone,so things that I would otherwise consider when booking with spouse, like cleanliness, amenities, were not at the top of my list.

If you are used to a certain level of comfort, cleanliness, noise - this is not for you.

If you have kids, any age, this is not the spot.

Eg. there was no sink in the bathroom, the sink was in the room where the bed is.

In summary, if you are a guy, travelling alone, on a budget, this might be for you
