The shuttle service was amazing! Pleasant drivers that took us in and out of the downtown area within 2 miles. ALL the staff was very pleasant! Wish they offered complimentary breakfast but lots of nice restaurants close by. Quite a long walk to your room from the front desk. All in all, very nice!
Diana
The hotel was in a great location for our stay.
The bed needs a new mattress, felt like I was sleeping in a divot.
We did not use the pool but it looked nice.

Very nice. Only criticism is no coffee in lobby. There was coffee available for purchase in adjoining restaurant and coffee pot in room but not in lobby area (and we drank the 2 pods available in the room).
Ken
The hotel is getting tired but in overall good condition. The air conditioner in my room was loud to the point I had to unplug it so I could sleep. Location is great, staff are excellent and parking is convenient.
jason
I love this place. Dog-friendly is great. Clean and always something going on. Lots of close places to walk to and the food is all good.
Jocelyn
We enjoy the family friendly atmosphere and the outdoor pool
Candi
My room was a pool side room and people were loudly partying right outside my slider until 3am. I asked multiple times to at least move away from my door. Got zero sleep.

The property was clean , modernized and well maintained. Beautiful landscaping and outside decor. Perfect location, located along the river walk next to the collage. They are in the process of renovating the pool area but had many other outdoor amenities. Also had a restaurant onsite.
Rhiannon
Beautiful place to stay and staff is so friendly. Food and music on the river was amazing. Definitely will be back.
John
This property was a real find in a great location. We especially appreciated the dog enclosure and the outdoor restaurant that welcomed our dog. The only downside was the collection of traveling teenaged baseball players that ran up and down the halls yelling and banging doors until their chaperone finally intervened at midnight. Even then, the walls were so thin that we could hear the kids talking in the adjoining room—even though they were speaking at normal volume. It made for a poor night’s sleep. Of course, the only aspect of this that is the fault of the property is the thin walls. But shame on the chaperones for not intervening at a reasonable hour.
Kim
I absolutely loved the pool! The restaurant is great as well!
Gail

Hotel staff was very friendly. Beds were super comfortable although you could hear some hallway noise. It was very close to several fast food/coffee places.
Colleen
The air conditioner was very loud and when shut off still sounded like a loud windstorm.
Two drinks at the pool were $38USD and then the hotel added $10 + tax for an ammenity fee. No prices posted anywhere. Not were we told there would be an additional fees added.
The checkout next day I was asked if I wanted a printed receipt. I said yes but then was told I couldnt have one.

First off, took my 4 year old granddaughter for her birthday and she got hit in the head by a football while trying to swim in the pool and adults were throwing footballs in the pool and hit her 😔 kids were running up and down the hallway screaming and playing until late, the next morning we went to eat at the hotel restaurant and the waitress dumped two plates of hot food on me which ended up burning my thigh, the orders were wrong and the sausage was burnt,no one seemed to really care, my new pants were ruined, will not stay there again 😔

Was placed on bottom floor in pet room, smelled and I was not traveling with pets.

Jordyn
We always have an amazing stay. This is our hotel of choice everytime we stay in Spokane.
Brian
Pretty good place, and large. I bet lots of people get lost in the mazelike corridors, like my kid did. Housekeepers were very friendly and helpful, a big thanks to them. The location is great, right on the walking/bike trail along the river. The pool and hot tub were very good, and there was actually a lifeguard on duty, which you almost never see in a hotel.
I did wait in line at check-in for an eternity, because somebody's credit card wasn't working. I get that these things happen, but maybe the staff should have made that person wait instead of the dozen people in line. When you've been traveling all day you just want to get into your room, especially when you've already reserved and paid for it. They also added an extra fee of $9 at check-out, with no reason given, and nobody answered the phone when I called to inquire what it was for. The only thing I can think is that it's because they offered me a choice of what \"view\" I wanted (a choice I'd already selected for myself online). You should tell people when you're upselling something. Thanks but I am not paying that!

This is my favorite place to stay when we go to Spokane for basketball tournaments. It’s close to everything
Audrey
Let me preface this review by saying we checked in to this property at the end of hoopfest, so maybe that was a factor.
The lobby was nicely designed and relatively clean, though the garbage cans were full and the glass entrance was very smudgy. We waited over 20 mins to check in. Once we got into our room it smelled prominently of dog and the room wasn’t as clean as I expected based on the reviews we read. We had to quickly leave for our scheduled event but when we came back to the room the smell was overwhelming and the sweatshirt we left on the bed picked up the dog smell, the shower doors hadn’t been cleaned and our toilet didn’t flush properly. We went to the front waited at least 15 mins and requested a new room. The new room also smelled strongly of perfume and there was makeup smeared on the front of the vanity. The toilet paper on the roll was wet and the room just felt old, chipped, and dirty. It was late so we didn’t want to move again but we ended up checking out the next morning after the iron in the room leaked sticky dark fluid in my pants. After waiting at the desk for someone to come out from the back for at least 20 mins, I tired to explain the situation in the room and acknowledged it was a busy weekend but the women at the front desk didn’t seem to care really. We moved to a different local hotel for the duration of our event. When we were discussing this with another person at our event she told us they had heard similar feedback before.

The hotel is great. The in house restaurant is great and the outside seating overlooking the river is fantastic. The staff was very friendly. Bonus points the hotel is located on the Centennial Trail which connects you to downtown Spokane with a short walk. The pool is also a great time!
Donna
They were so busy with hoopfest but everyone was nice, helpful and the rooms were clean
Paymaneh
Was nice but didn’t really use amenities since I was sick
Lea
It was a nice stay with helpful staff on a very busy weekend in Spokane.
Andy
A great place to stay and a great value!! Would stay again anytime!
Laura
The property is doing a lot of upgrades and we were very impressed. The outdoor terrace and pool area are stunning and a wonderful place to just hang out and relax. The rooms were clean and had been updated with a modern look. They are definitely making big changes as one area outside was completely under construction - looks like they are expanding their outdoor area. The location is right on a path along the river - we loved meeting up with family newly transplanted to Spokane and meandering around the area on foot. We only stayed one night but can't wait to come back for a longer visit and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!
Davie
We had a wonderful stay! The hotel was beautiful, very clean, and in a gorgeous, safe neighborhood. We felt comfortable walking around the area, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. We’d definitely stay here again!
Julianne
The pool was a huge hit for the kids, cabanas and pool chairs for the adults. Activities for kids on the property were great and room was spacious, staff helpful and friendly.
Giness
Great pool! Awesome place if you have a dog.
Ana
Clean rooms. You can tell by the exterior, immediately, this hotel takes really good care of their property. Offers a bar, pool, restaurant. Clean rooms, clean towels, clean linens. Sits right next to a beautiful greenway on the river.
Amy
This hotel was very nice and exceeded our expectations. We only stayed one night and wished it could have been longer.
Jill
The staff is super friendly and the pool area next to the river is awesome. So close to Gonzaga University. Great restaurant and outdoor patio. We loved our stay except we happened to have early morning noise above us for hours. Either a laundry/clean supply room was above us or a guest was pacing a lot and it made the ceiling creak along with the footsteps. Loved having a poolside room to sit outside but might want to request a 2nd floor room to avoid overhead noise, or perhaps we were just unlucky. I would not accept room 302 because it is right next to the exit door and the exit door to the pool. Both doors opening and shutting were very easily heard from our room. All that said, I will stay again and just ask for a quieter positioned room.
Michael
Nice rooms right on the river
Gideon
The room was clean and the staff was very kind
IGOR
Amazing time, great hotel and knowledgeable staff
Karl
Cool central hotel to stay at… nice bar and restaurant.
Rooms and hallways a little dated.

I was really pleasantly surprised about how nice this hotel was the price that we paid was super reasonable. The food was great. The staff was great. The rooms were awesome in the pool was exactly what we needed on a hot afternoon. I would come back again.

Great friendly hotel with a great restaurant and bar, so walkable to everything!
Igor
The hotel was clean, staff useful and they had a nice, and clean pool. There is a nice restaurant close to the hotel to grab a nice breakfast. One problem though were the beds, they weren’t soft, but overall the hotel is very nice.
Jason
Fantastic Facility. Highly recommend
Erik
Clean room and great facilities.

We love this spot. The Osprey is great too!

The location is great. It is walkable to the river and downtown. There are lots of restaurants and shopping within walking distance.
The hotel is not freshly renovated but it is not in need of remodeling either. Our room had a bit of a funny smell but we opened the windows and that helped.
We were only there one night and did not use the pool or jacuzzi but they looked nice. The pool is quite large with lots of seating around it. We had a view of the river and the pool

The outdoor pool is amazing, and the hotel is very well located. However, the rooms feel dated, with popcorn ceilings and a noticeable musty smell.
In our first room, the shower drain backed up, which was unpleasant, and the air conditioner made intermittent noises that woke us during the night. The staff moved us to another room the next day. The shower was better, but the AC was still noisy, and the room had the same damp, musty smell.
Overall, the pool and location are excellent, but the guest rooms could use updating and better maintenance.

Easy to find.

If you like to bike around Spokane, this hotel is an excellent choice, and so helpful with bike storage. The rooms are nice, the restaurant is great, the staff are so hospitable.

Large property (6 buildings) on the river. Well maintained and plenty of space in our room for 4 adults. Pool and hot tub area is large with lots of seating, some with umbrellas. Perfect place to unwind at the end of the day. We asked for a couple of extra pillows and coffee pods which were delivered in a very timely manner. Only complaint would be we could hear hallway noise about 12:30am from a loud group (talking to loud and letting doors slam). Would stay here again if in the area.
Patrick
We travel a lot. I don’t get the 9+ rating. Checking was a mess. The beds were old/super soft. The first room we were assigned was musty smelling.
Hannah
I loved mostly everything, friendly staff, food at the restaurant was great! Only thing was i got a poolside room and it has a smell due to moisture and no hooks in the showers to hang bathing suits! But i will say rooms are super convenient, beds were cozy and spacious! Not the actual hotel but the restaurant staff was a bit slow…all very kind but they seem unorganized..Would definitely stay again and recommend the hotel for families.

This is a gem of a find in the downtown Spokane area. Right on the river, great restaurant on site, cool patios, great pool area, and close to all the great dining, shopping, and entertainment that Spokane has to offer. The rooms are clean, spacious, and well-maintained, the staff is friendly, and they have free parking to boot. What more can you ask for?

Nice riverside location. Book it for the sole reason of dining by the Spokane River. Nice pool area.

The only issue with our room was the bathroom door would get stuck after closing it making a loud noise every time we opened it…
Tony
Good stay with one exception - did not receive housekeeping services one day!!
Michael
We have stayed at the Ruby River several times the last few years and enjoy it every time. The rooms and entire facility are clean and well maintained. The staff are friendly, efficient and helpful and the restaurant food is delicious. We also enjoy the walking path along the river immensely.
JASON
Great staff. Great patio drinks and dinning.
Stacie
Great location by the river path, near Gonzaga and good coffee shops and restaurants! Really nice pool and outside areas too!
Steven
The carpets in our room were so dirty that our feet were black from dirt, you could feel the filth under your feet when you stepped on them. Housekeeping does not come to clean your room, so if you have garbage, or were expecting fresh towels that is not going to happen. We felt this hotel was overpriced for the stands of cleanliness/amenities it provided.
Daniel
The property was larger than I expected and parking was a little constrained. But it was located central to most of what was going on in Spokane, it was beautifally maintained, the food was excellent (and reasonably priced), and the staff enthusiastic in their pursuit to please customers.
Sandi
Great place to stay. Perfect location on the river. Looking forward to the opening of the new infinity pool. Well appointed room great restaurant on location.
Caitlin
There was only one person at the front desk checking people in when we arrived and it took a long time for the line to move. Then we got to our room which smelled heavily of dog and room freshener. Very heavy, unpleasant odor. Would not recommend staying here. We had a dog so that’s why we booked it but the carpet in the dog-friendly hotel rooms smell. The hotel room felt very tired: one of the nightstand lamps wasn’t working, the toilet flush was faulty, smelly carpet, etc.
Barry
Nice location, friendly and helpful staff.
Jodie
I absolutely love this hotel ❤️
Lisa
Our stop on our way home with our son's dog was smooth at Ruby River. The river side rooms have a bit more space and are worth the difference in price. The location works well with the river path and distance to down town and Gonzaga. The hotel restaurant always has something good to choose to eat. The hotel is also close to a Starbucks for the morning wake up.
