The room was clean and quiet. Perfect for a stay after a long flight. Walkable to a few attractions and food. Breakfast was great. It was probably the best breakfast we had on our trip around Iceland.

The staff was very helpful when our room felt extremely hot because the heater wouldn’t turn off and the window would not open wide enough to let the cool air in. They moved us to a different room which was 100% better. Rooms were clean.

Nice room, small for three people but that was to be expected. Our 6’1 son slept on the chair pull out, which was hilarious but he said it was comfortable and easy to put away for the day. Renting bikes from the hotel was completely worth as you could just hang into the key for the day and ride when you wanted to. Breakfast was amazing every morning and worth paying for. Great location for walking or biking to tourists attractions. Only complaint (but not really) would be that the room was warm- but we’re used to having AC which is not really a European thing. Overall great stay.

A beautiful and stylish hotel in Reykjavik with a warm, inviting atmosphere. The cozy bar was a great place to relax in the evenings, and the staff were excellent. Special recognition goes to Paulina at the concierge desk, whose help and guidance when we had car trouble were invaluable! Her outstanding service made a lasting impression.

The property is fantastic. It is in very close proximity to the capitals city center. The hotel has a great sauna and cold plunge to refresh after a flight or just relax after a long day of exploration. The hotel has a nice cafe attached to it and a bar that serves great cocktails and bites.
The front desk is super friendly and helpful. In particular Louisa was amazing. She helped plan our stay and had good recommendations on what to do and where to go. She also was super helpful to extend our stay in light of our flight being cancelled. Overall a very pleasant experience to kick start a wonderful trip in Iceland. Would highly recommend.

Excellent staff. Helped us figure out parking. All the staff were welcoming and friendly. Excellent manager.

We stayed in a triple room and it was very roomy. Beds comfortable. Breakfast buffet was the best we had during our week in Iceland. Bartender exceptional.

Libby is very nice-we walked to the grocery store our last night and had a picnic in the lobby couches/tables because we stayed so long at sky Lagoon and were too tired to go out for dinner—grocery store is about a 5 minute walk.

This hotel was wonderful! Staff were welcoming and friendly. They were very knowledgeable about tourist attractions in the area, which we did end up visiting several of. The Natural History Museum is a must. Our room included spa access which was a plus and worth a visit even if it’s not included with your room. We had a baby in our group, and it was not an issue for this hotel. Walls are well sound proofed.

Room was clean and sizable, breakfast was really great, one of the best hotel breakfast buffets I've had in recent memory.

Overall, the hotel was pleasant. With nice decor. The spa was a nice touch. It was a plus that we could park nearby - in a nearby supermarket carpark, so long as we could get a space. Location was good.

In another light, I did find the staff rather cold and not particularly helpful. Our check in was very transactional, not really giving us much information just the basics. I had go back to reception and ask a number of times about things as we weren’t told on check in.

The staff in the dining areas didn’t seem very attentive or happy to be working there. They wouldn’t stop their own conversations when I was waiting to ask a question or be seen. One staff member said out loud in a sarcastic manner when asked by another member of staff how their shift is going: “Greeeaaaat, I love my customers” and rolled her eyes. She said this in front of a queue of people waiting to go in the dining area.

The spa was a nice touch but the jacuzzi wasn’t working so we didn’t get much use other than an overcrowded hot bath. The sauna was ok. A big gripe were guests would ‘reserve’ the only few chairs and loungers in there so there was no where to sit. No one around or any sign to police this.

The rooms were ok, very basic and plain. TV only had terrestrial tv so we could watch the news and what ever was on film4 if there was anything decent on. The free coffee and tea was basic and not plentiful. I didn’t think the room was 4-star standard.

Would I say again- probably not, sadly.

A super nice place, though a little far from the core of downtown. The 3 big grocery stores were super close by though (5 min walk) so that was amazing. The staff were very helpful and friendly during our entire stay. The room was super nice and I greatly appreciated the large space, storage options, and various amenities provided. It was nice to have a mini fridge and kettle too. The sink outside the bathroom was a bit different and surprisingly hard to get used to. The place was pretty clean overall. Personally wished the bed outlet socks were placed at a different spot. Also greatly enjoyed the few board games they had in their lobby too.

It is in a great location with many places to eat within a 5 minute walk. The coffee shop attached to the hotel is really good too. When you check in you're given the option of daily, every other day and no cleaning of the room which is really nice. The room I had was clean, spacious and the bed was extremely comfortable. The only downside is Iceland is built for heat conservation so there's no air con nor can you open the windows in a meaningful way.

REALLY enjoyed this hotel and would stay here easy on a future trip. I esp liked the greeting of sweets when I came into the hotel room and my welcome msg on the flatscreen. This was my 5th scheduled trip to Reykjavik- but fulfilled 4th trip! This was my fav hotel, thus far. Clean, good 15 min walk from town ( good for me ), quiet, seemed safe. I stayed at another high end hotel on my first trip and enjoyed it as well. However, this place was quieter and the best part, BY FAR, was the orange tabby sleeping in the lobby, \"MANGO\". I brought him food and he was the highlight!!

The location is excellent!
It’s close walking distance to many tourist sites and museums in the city and close to the Maritime Museum bus stop.
We loved the breakfast provided by the hotel and the Hygge coffee shop and bakery there.
The spa was closed during our stay which wasn't great and we weren’t refunded the extra money we had paid for spa access. They did include one day of free hotel breakfast and a free coffee for the two of us though which was very kind.
The staff were all very lovely and helpful. There was even a cat hanging around the front lobby area for most of our stay

What a wonderful oasis! This property far exceeded our expectations. It was well located for our exploration of Reykjavík. The staff was so helpful with all our questions. They were always patient and upbeat. The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. Had a great night’s sleep.
We expected parking to be an issue, but found a place directly outside the hotel door, and the staff helped us access the parking app which made it very easy and reasonably priced. We can’t say enough positive about this stay at the end of our Iceland trip.

We had a relaxing stay. The spa includes two hot tubs, a sauna, and some lounge chairs and we visited twice during our stay. It gets busier at night when people are winding down but we had an activity during the day and came back and no one else was in the spa area mid-day. Breakfast choices were a full range of pastries, fruit, breads, eggs (variety) similar to a European hotel breakfast. They do have storage lockers right by reception if you are checking out early but want to store bags without carrying them through town.

Pros: The spa and breakfast was wonderful. The facility was very clean
Cons: The beds were hard, especially the pullout couch bed, where you can literally feel the springs beneath. The comforters were tiny - twin sized turned from left to right of bed (instead of top to bottom) to appear as a regular sized comforter. This made it hard for us to sleep as two people were sharing one twin sized comforter in order for our child, on the pull out couch, to have a comforter. The door on one of our rooms (we had two rooms) would not automatically lock when we left the room and would remain ajar. Despite pulling it shut repeatedly, it only finally locked from the outside after we forcefully pulled it and held it.

The hotel is well located in Reykjavik and all the main attractions are walkable - even in heavy snow and ice. The rooms are clean, large and well laid out with great quality showers. I cannot rate this hotel and the staff more highly, they were even able to secure a taxi for us during heavy snow and ice when our transfer cancelled on us.
