Clear instructions for an easy check in. Was able to check in earlier which was a nice bonus.
Standard double room was small but cosy. Had everything we needed for a one night stay. Tea and coffee facilities. Fabulous location. Bars, restaurants and shops on the doorstep. Very close to the river if you fancy a nice walk. Parked at train station which was a short walk away. Would definitely stay again.

Large apartment but no lounging area.

Our 65m2 apartment had 2 bedrooms and a kitchen. The was no lounge area so relaxing in the apartment was not comfortable. But it was clean and the kitchen was good. Well located, great for a couple of nights.

They went above and beyond, and offered me early check in unprompted since my room was available. Since I arrived in Henley early after a red-eye flight, this was a very welcome surprise. Rooms were clean, had a/c, and the location was perfect. Recommend.

Stay because was sitting A Levels, this is close to the college, meant that my daughter could study. Enjoy food she like (can do that in a hotel) and walk to college not having to worry about getting up extra early and catching the earlier train, just encase her normal train is a no show.

My daughter studies at Henley College. This was like home from home: it’s was perfect; she was able to study, she doesn’t eat out; so was able to eat foods that she eats. Best of all she could have a sleep in..

So she was all fresh for her 9am exam, no worrying in trains would be late.

Highly recommend this place.

Room was very compact and there is no reception, but that is reflected in price, which was reasonable. Room was very clean, bathroom was good and the instructions to access the property were clear and we had no issues. We stayed just one night as we were walking the Thames Path and it was perfect for that. It’s a great location.

What a gem

Really good. It's a door next to Giggling Squid but really well turned out. Rooms are small with no view but if yards from the river. Asked for car parks and they should've recommended the Waitrose car park which is free after 6pm and before 10am

The room is very small especially if you have larger bags but the location is central and information on entry are clear. The room was very clean. I left an ear bud there and they’re contacted me very quickly and proactively. I arranged to collect it and this all went very smoothly for which I was really grateful.

Think it is too expensive for what you get especially in terms of size. I did not like having to enter a code to enter the property right on a busy street for safety reasons especially if you come back late on your own. Couldn’t sleep as there was music playing until the middle of the night but couldn’t work out where it was coming from. Not the greatest unfortunately if you like me had to get up early and run a half marathon on basically no sleep.

Comfortable stay

For an overnight stay before moving on it was ideal. Was a bit worried about not having a reception and having a code entrance but the hosts were very good at communicating through whats app and answering my questions very quickly.

Cleaning and sanitisation very good of accommodation. Comfortable bed, nice shower.

Stairs upto the accommodation a bit tricky with a large suitcase. Ideal if your travelling light.

Lovely modern room, good proper coffee.

I had a slight delay checking in, because of my own misunderstanding of sign-in instructions - that the sign-in code should be preceded and followed by #. My message of confusion was promptly responded to - by which time I'd solved the problem! It's a very well modernised appointed site, with kitchen facilities, so more of an apartment than a room! Very centrally located, but no noise disturbance. Parking in central Henley is difficult to find, so be prepared to park out by or near St Marks or St Anthony's Roads.

There was a stench coming from the bathroom. The apartments are located over a pub so there is a little noise. There was a dray delivery at 5am..

Extremely pleased with this hotel. We had to make a last minute booking, as we were let down by another hotel. We couldn't have been more pleasantly surprised. Having read some of the negative reviews, we were a bit dubious, but thankfully we found our stay to be an entirely positive experience.
Great location opposite church. Everything was spotlessly clean. Room was serviced every day to a high standard. Very pleased with extra touches like coffee machine, microwave, fridge etc. I would highly recommend this hotel, and won't hesitate to stay there again on our next visit.

Very small room and noisy as no soundproofing

This is a very small room, which is indicated in the description, but the photos are artfully taken to make it appear bigger. This is more suitable for a single traveller. We had 2 bags and struggled with space to store out the way. The glass wall to the bathroom meant you couldn’t put the light on in the middle of the night without disturbing the other person. There is no soundproofing and the guest in the room next to us snored all night which we could very clearly hear. We have stayed in lots of different accommodation but this was the only one where we could not figure out how to get the air con to stay on which meant the room was too hot overnight. Doors banged every time they were used making a noisy stay and little sleep.

The access to enter the building is very user friendly and the location of the hotel is amazing !

However, the walls for the rooms are paper thin meaning that you can hear everything throughout the night. There was also a small issue with the door to the toilet being a sliding door meaning that there is little privacy with anyone else in the room.

All in all a nice room and great location but due to the construction of the walls and noise being so apparent we would not stay here again.

Two days in Henley at Christmas

Everything looked completely new and extremely clean, modern and contemporary. Easy access and did the trick. Only slight downside, is that there is no soft furnishings or carpet on the stairs so guests arriving returning late at night can be rather noisy and the walls are only made from partitioning and therefore you can hear voices and noises in the next room. Happy with my room and stay though.

No privacy and noisy.

Terrible. I have contacted the establishment (run from Spain) to open communication before leaving a negative review. Their reply expressed remorse of events, but no apology for us having to sort out a volatile incident.
We had two nights of unbroken sleep, the 2nd night drunken guests were running around, shouting, breaking property, setting alarms off, harrassing other guests.
We heard broken glass, cries of 'help, help me' from another guest room after a series of violent bangs. We had a number to contact in Spain as we were then concerned for that guests safety, but they said they couldn't help giving another number. That number informed us the police had already been notified,the noise continued till 4am.
Appalling behaved guests aside, the walls are extremely thin, everywhere has wooden floors so every sound is amplified.
Myself and my 75 yr old parent had no sleep before going seperate ways on long journeys the next day. I booked a room with the idea I may sleep, Instead we left on 2 hrs sleep feeling naturally distressed by events The service staff were extremely helpful during working hours, but the owners both on the phone, and subsequent communication couldn't care less, they actually gave me permission to write this review.
The rooms are very small, all open plan, you can see in pictures, there is no privacy to the toilet/shower. If you value sleep, any privacy either in your own room or from other guests this is definitely not the stay for you.
