Absolutely perfect stay. I couldn't speak more highly about the hotel. From the reception to the restaurant and to the smiling ladies who serviced my room daily. I had a small single room but was very comfortable. Not noisy and easy to reach. Hot shower, lovely towels and excellent coffee machine in the room. The breakfast was the highlight of my day. I must say that I was extremely disappointed with my experience at the Kilronan Guest House. I arrived approximately 8:30 pm on June 9th, checked into my room and found the heat was not working, when I inquired about the situation I was informed that the boiler had been shut down for the season…it was 11 degrees celsius that evening. I ended up leaving around 11:30 pm and driving back to Belfast.
I'm really glad I had a car, otherwise I would've been stuck in Dublin freezing my tail off.
They refunded a portion of what I paid for the night. I just wish things had worked out differently as I had several things booked and paid for ($400 down the drain)

Quiet and Cozy Stay in Central Dublin
Quant hotel, convenient for exploring Dublin attractions. Our room was on the top floor (no elevator, but no problem), so be Europe-prepared with your choice of luggage and footwear! Breakfast was the best of any of the places we stayed in Ireland, but as others have noted, service was a bit slow. We were able to store our luggage after getting off a red eye flight, which was great.

It was my very first time traveling to Ireland, and Kilronan Guesthouse just made that experience a hundred times better :) I loooooved their Breakfast. Many to choose from, and they were delicious. The best homemade Granola I’ve had in my life!!!!!! My room was small, but it had everything I needed and I felt safe and comfortable the whole time. From the Guesthouse, I almost always just walked to Dublin city center because the streets were flat and easy to navigate. And most importantly, all staff were welcoming and helpful! I would most definitely choose to stay at Kilronan when I visit Dublin again!

This property is in a charming guest house located in a period home near Dublin's Georgian row houses. The staff was gracious and welcoming, and the breakfasts were wonderful. Be prepared to climb stairs, though (we were on the fourth floor). We did not have air conditioning or a ceiling fan in our room. Luckily the weather cooperated, but I wondered if it would have been as comfortable in warmer (70 degree F) weather.

We were concerned since our flight from the US they came in early in the morning that we would not have a place to store our bags until check in and would have to take them with us everywhere, but they were kind enough to store them for us safely location was perfect to the tram system or within a 30 minute walk to all the great places in Dublin to see. What a special gem in the heart of Dublin! Close to St. Stephens Green park and all the fun of Grafton Street but tucked away on a quiet street. The rooms are so beautiful and cozy with comfortable beds, great rain showers in the bathroom, and a hearty breakfast included every morning. This guesthouse had a stellar breakfast and my room was immaculately clean. My room was the size of a closet, but it was a very nice closet. The only recommendation would be that they should replace their staircase carpet soon because it was very worn. Staff was helpful and carried my heavy bag up and down the stairs for me. They also gave great recommendations for dinner.

The Kilronan House was a wonderful choice for us. We wanted to stay in a non-American hotel with authentic character, and KH was both charming and in a lovely part of Dublin. The staff was great - excellent service, excellent breakfast and everyone went out of their way to be helpful. We liked the fact that it was not right in the city center, but accessible to everything. The house itself is showing a bit of wear and there is no elevator, but staff was helpful with bags. Thank you, KH!

This is a beautiful property. Staff was excellent. I almost didn't get free parking but he said he had room. Then we were supposed to leave early so he parked us out front. Our flight was delayed so we ended up paying for parking in morning. Of all the places we stayed, this place was extremely expensive for what is was. Our last night in Ireland.

The hotel is an old building/house that has been renovated into a B&B style location. Our room was beautifully decorated. It was on the small size though, but we were gone all day sightseeing so we didn't need much room. The only issue I had with the size was that the desk chair, when in use, blocked the path from the other side of the room. The bathroom and shower was clean and fresh towels were replenished daily. There was no electrical outlet in the bathroom so when I needed to use the hairdryer, I had to plug in to the outlet by the desk. Of course, this then caused me to dry my hair outside of the bathroom. Not a big deal since my hair is short and it doesn't take long to dry. Both bedside tables had light switches where one person could have a night light for reading. And both bedsides had USB plugs that allowed to recharge our devices. Also, even though the description on the website stated the rooms did not have TV's, that must be old info, as the rooms do have TVs. A big plus is the daily breakfast menu which is included in the room rate. They had coffee, cereals, fruit salad, omelets and a \"full English breakfast\". Also, don't hesitate to ask for an Irish Coffee. They'll serve you one, free, whenever you ask. The location of the hotel was within walking distance to several interesting sights. The staff is friendly and helpful. Be aware there are no elevators. If you have problems with stairs, be sure you request a lower level room. Our room was on a third level.

We could hear the people in the room above us talking and every time they walked across the floor the floorboards squeaked. But the room was clean and the bed comfortable. Tired and overpriced
I booked this property mainly based on location as I had an early start the next morning. I requested a quiet room, with WiFi, parking and presumed an en-suite. When I arrived the receptionist asked for my car keys to park the car down a lane adjacent to the property and then I had to leave my keys at reception in case it needed to be moved. I was not at all happy with this scenario for both insurance and general security reasons. My room was very tired and I had to share a toilet on the landing which is extremely inconvenient. They did make me aware of the stairs which was fine and the staff were helpful and friendly. I initially had to be away for 7am which meant I could only have a continental breakfast, however in the end I was able to stay on for the full breakfast, which was very good. The cost for the night was €149 and I was offered a cash only price of €135 when I enquired about the breakfast. As I pay by company card this was of no use to me. So overall, although the bed was fine and the breakfast good in the end it is extremely overpriced and not very clear on the facilities.

Nice place for the price. Relatively close to the main attractions by cab or a little walk. The staff was nice but the inn was definitely short staffed with the person checking you in also parking your car and waiting on breakfast tables. The room was dated but relatively comfortable although there was only a heavy comforter, which was much too hot to use, and no sheet or thin blanket. There are definitely places closer to the action but much more expensive so overall, a good value.

Amazing B&B- vintage and very clean and tidy! The staff were soo helpful, parked the car for you, offered to order you a taxi whenever you needed and showed you to your room. We also got a free upgrade from economy with shared bathroom to an en suite room. We also arrived over an hour early for check in and this wasn’t a problem at all we were checked in immediately.
