Spacious, comfortable and perfectly located to wander around downtown Reykjavik. The bathroom could use a little facelift but otherwise no complaints. Clear instructions were provided for anything one might need. Definitely appreciated having a washer and dryer. I’d stay there again!

This is generally a very comfortable and convenient place to stay in Reykjavik. The location is especially good, steps from the #9 Tourist Bus Stop, right next to the main street of Reykjavik, and well served by transport. Excellent coffee shops, restaurants, convenience supermarkets etc are close by. It's quiet at night (not least because it's behind 3 layers of glass and not on a vehicular street)

It is also quite a spacious studio (basically a one bedroom) and generally well-equipped, including a dishwasher, washer and dryer, drying rack, microwave. It feels clean but also homely. If you were based in Reykjavik for weeks, you could manage here very well.

There was pre-checkin baggage storage but the instructions could have been slightly clearer. I eventually worked out how to operate some aspects of the apartment which were unfamiliar - perhaps the instructions could be more explicit for the washer and dryer. I didn't feel confident using the iron (someone's melted something onto the sole) and according to the compendium there was supposed to be washing powder, but I didn't find it. But generally these were small points.

Perfect Spot to Stay in Reykjavik

Our third trip to Iceland but our first stay in these apartments. 100 yards from the hotel we usually stay at. Very comfortable and good looking apartment. My wife was amazed at the space. We got soaked on our first day and the tumble drier came to our rescue. Well equiped if you fancy cooking, we didn't on this occasion, and a place to chill if you needed to catch a breath. Need to grab a bite? It's close to restaurants and supermarkets. Perfect spot. Loved our stay. And if you need help messages are answered within minutes.

The location was absolutely perfect. A 24-hour convenience store was right in front, Bus Stop #9 was right next to it, and during the few days I rented a car, I could park for free in a residential area just one block away.

Check-in was smooth, and the accommodation had all the necessary amenities.

The reason I gave 3 stars is, first, the bedding and sofa smelled strongly of sweat, which made it very difficult to sleep or relax. I think the management needs to replace the bed and pillows. It constantly smelled like being in a yoga class with someone who had been sweating profusely. Another reason is that the shower drain didn’t work properly. When turning the water on full blast, I was constantly worried it might overflow.

The studio apartment was in the shopping district and it was perfect for the two of us. It had a well appointed kitchen with 2 burner stove top, oven, dishwasher, small fridge and dishes/pots/pans. There was an indoor dining area plus it was great to have the enclosed balcony too to eat at and take coffee. Having the washer & dryer made it possible to not overpack. The apartment was very close to restaurants and shops. The area was busy but we did not hear any of the street noise, the apartment was very quiet. I would recommend this accommodation to any couple.

This place had an awful smell of rotten eggs. I got a headache just from being there. The smell of the bathroom water was sickening. The place was filled with stains not very well kept, overpriced. The bathroom had mold everywhere. Absolutely disgusting place to stay.

Great apartment, centrally located!

Very happy with the apartment. Everything as described. A bit smaller than the pictures but that was fine. Only thing that could improve it, it’s to have two copies of the keys provided, or another way to get into the apartment as I was always worried of losing/misplacing the one key provided.

The property is easy to find and within steps of the bus stop, which is key for weary travelers hauling luggage in the snow/cold and famous Reykjavik wind ;)!

Our apartment was clean, sofa bed pulled out and made up, and access instructions very clear. Def 5* on communication.

Location is also prime along Laugevegur, the shopping district. Pedestrian traffic only in this section, and parking - if you rent a car - is less than a block away. The 10/11 grocery is almost directly across the street and was open 24/7 during the Christmas holiday. Much appreciated when many other things were closed since we had access to food and drinks. There’s also a Bæjarin’s Beztu Pylsur stand there to eat the world’s best hot dog, but do note it has separate operating hours.

Loved having a washer and dryer in unit because we pack mostly carry on luggage. Meaning there may be a need to launder essentials. And the apartment supplied us with enough detergent to do two loads.

Ideal and would book again without hesitation.

Perfect apartment for me, my mother and my daughter! We loved the location - right next to the main bus station and awesome food hall, and on the main shopping street Laugavegur. We stayed here at the end of our week in Iceland, and appreciated having a washer and dryer to wash all of our clothes before our flight home. The apartment is well-appointed with a balcony and a view of the water.

Our stay was great!
We had 5 people. Got clear instructions how to access apartment and parking information.
Plenty of space for people and stuff in the apartment. Was cleaned 2 during our 6 day stay. Fresh towels and coffee. Lots of stuff in the kitchen.
Minus part- teapot had problems boiling, had to tape button to stay. Sink in the bathroom draining slowly.
Otherwise it was much better then expected for the price in Reykjavik.
I would stay here again!

Great half term trip!

We had a fantastic 4 days in Iceland and this was enhanced by the location and comfort of the apartment. There was everything we needed on hand - even though we did eat out a lot but reduced costs by having breakfast in the apartment and one night had take away noodles from a shop just underneath - they were very good!! Definitely would recommend to friends to stay here and the only part I found stressful was waiting for instructions for entering the apartment, which didn't come until the night before our flight. Everything else was perfect and we will definitely be coming back to Reykjavik

Nice Apartment but no parking on site.

Loved the apartment but did not like the fact that there was no parking available for the apartment. You either pay to park on the street from 9 am to 6pm which is expensive, Park in a lot or park several blocks away on the street where there is not a charge. Also the bedroom and bathroom needs better privacy curtains. Other than that it was a lovely apartment with a balcony with a table and chairs. Location was easy walking distance to restaurants and Bonus supermarket which has nice selection of food plus good prices if you want to prepare meals. We would probably stay here again.

Great location, great views since we were on top floor. The beds were comfortable and the grocery store across the street was convenient. However, the management wouldn’t send checkin instructions until 2 days before arrival (which was difficult to get since I have no WiFi while traveling in Iceland). Then, the checkin instructions went to my junk mail and when I tried to contact manager to have them resend them them to me, I got no reply. Also, the unit states it has washer and dryer, but there is No dryer.

No “front desk” so booked through Expedia and confirmation email evidently stated “call prior to arrival for check in instructions”. Called all afternoon on day of check in no answer. Had to leave due to being in the sidewalk in the rain with family and 8 pieces of luggage. Found another hotel down the street. 5 minutes after check in there I get a text from other property manager stating an email was sent 2 days prior. I’m off the grid in Iceland!!! Didn’t see it. But come on answer your phone. Won’t refund any of my money. If you are going to rent apartments then there should be reliable contact ability during normal hours...Expedia reservation manager completely unhelpful

Ideal Spot in the City

This apartment is ideally situated in Reykjavik, tour buses pick up right in front at bus stop 10. You are very close to shops, pubs and restaurants. The room was very nice with great security, beds were comfy and there was plenty of utensils in the kitchen.

Way over priced for what we had to deal with!!!

Overall, the apartment was nice. They only left 2 towels and 2 wash clothes for four people for three days which was crazy. I had to track them down and get more on the second day when they were there to clean the apartment! The WiFi kept going off, also! Other people in another rental reported the same types of problems!! There was an elevator, which was nice since we were on the 4th floor!!! The shower plugged up and we had to fix it by removing the trap from the floor! Aside from all that stuff and the facthat it was way way overpriced! We paid over $750 for two nights!!!! Yikes!!!

We were given instructions by email about how to get in, which was great. We had trouble finding the place because it's a single glass door with a plain piece of paper in the window. Our only problem was that a circuit had flipped, which we didn't recognize for a while.There was a washing machine, but no dryer. The location is really nice.

Good location, good amenities.

Overall a good apartment in an excellent location (close to downtown).
Good communications overall, however was almost denied access to the apartment because owner said my credit card details were not up to date. I confirmed 3 days before arrival that everything on both of my credit cards was up to date. In my opinion the owner should have called Expedia to find out what the problem is. While on holiday, (as we were in Europe before arrival) I had little time to talk to Expedia. Denying us access to the apartment would have ruined our trip to Iceland. In the end they agreed to meet at apartment and take payment there. We had problems with our dryer ( took for ever), freezer did not work nor did the Internet on the last day. No wash cloths provided. People across the hall (same owner for both units) did not have towels on arrival. Same Internet problem and their shower would not drain.
When you pay $300 per night you should not have these type of issues.

Great location and easy to find. I was sent a text a few days before with the codes to get into the building and apartment etc. There is a parking garage about 2 mins walk from the apartment and it was very reasonably priced. The apartment facilities were very good although the sofa bed was just ok comfort-wise but then it is a sofa bed so understandable. The apartment is in a great location with loads of restaurants, coffee shops and shops within a minutes walking distance. We didn’t do any cooking in the apartment as we went out for dinner every night but it seemed very equipt if you wanted to eat in. The only thing that was lacking was the tv wasn’t great e.g. it was slow to respond etc but there was several English channels so ok for a few days stay. Very lovely stay, would choose this apartment block again.

I love our stay at this apartment. It's very clean. The location is great! Right at the bus station. And it's close to a lot of shops, markets and restaurants! Very convenient! Downstairs is Noodle Stations where i find it has the cheapest entree in town!
