All good, but a few basic things were missing:
- paper towels
- kitchen towels
- soap in one of the bathrooms (like, why?..)
- salt for cooking would be good.
Also, we had to run up and down stairs with luggage, walk long corridors only to discover that there were three entrance doors to the property. More clear instructions would have been appreciated.

Our stay was excellent. Easy check in, we arrived very early morning, were able to store our luggage until our room was ready and were allowed an early check in too which was greatly appreciated. The rooms are clean and nice, comfortable bed, we liked having a kitchenette and Nespresso machine. Location is very walkable.

I really liked the automatic check-in — it helps save time. However, I would like to point out that upon arrival, the room was overheated to the point that even after opening the windows and lowering the heating, it was too hot to sleep at night. Street noise came through the open windows, so I had to close them and sleep in a hot room.
Additionally, the refrigerator didn’t cool — it froze. As a result, the vegetables I placed inside were ruined, and the beer froze. I had to throw these items away.
Also, I couldn’t turn on the TV using the remote control, so I didn’t watch it at all during my stay.

Thankyou for providing incredible customer service, response time was almost immediate throughout the day. I feel certain aspects of the cleaning can be better, radiator vents had a ton of dust inside, above door frame had dust hanging from it as well a the dirty sponge used for dishes under the kitchen sink. Outside landscaping can be better, however I enjoyed my stay and it was in a good area within walking distance. Just remember if you’re catching the transportation bus back to the airport, walk down the street to bus stop 13 by Center Hotel. Again excellent customer service from messaging.

A very enjoyable stay. The apartment was ideal in terms of location and space. A short walk away from the heart of the city and coach drop offs to the airport and tours. Communication on how to access the apartment and other instructions was very clear

Should Have Stayed in a Hostel!
The room did not come with a bath mat or face cloths. Had to use hand towels. The lighted mirror in the bathroom was nonfunctional; looked nice but not wired in. No towel hooks or racks to hang wet towels. The outlet in the kitchen where the coffee pot was was not working. We made coffee on the bedside stool where there was a functional outlet. Two of the 4 light fixtures were nonfunctional. Soft saggy mattresses with poor foundation and frame. Inadequate window covering with just a blackout curtain and no shade. The extremely dirty windows offered at least some privacy from buses and pedestrians walking by. We could see the faces of folks on the bus! The TV functioned on an YouTube platform but there was no instructions on how to use it. Our efforts to address concerns (3 times) with the virtual front desk were unsuccessful without any follow up.

Had a terrible experience with the property - we had a unit that had 3 rooms in it. We identified that one of the rooms had BED BUGS. We had to check out early and communication with the staff was terrible. After complaining, they had to gall to imply that we brought it there. When we called initially about it, they said that they would be sending someone over to investigate - no one ever came and I suspect that nothing will be done about this except for a change of sheets. We were disgusted and thew away our belongings that were in the room. I should also mention that the shower was in poor condition and the hallways in the main building poorly lit and smelled dingy. Avoid this place.

The 3 bedroom apartment did not look like any of the pictures that it showed when booking. Also, inside the apartment it said they had laundry facilities and they don’t and haven’t for a long time they said. They were very light on kitchen cooking facilities. On the positive side, it was close to lots of restaurants and food stores and we could walk a lot of places we wanted to go. Communication was great and fast.

The room was a little beat up, with a cracked window and a burn mark on the table, but it was clean, quiet, and had everything i needed. The hotel is on the outskirts of city center so it's not very noisy but still close enough to walk. Grocery store close by. Comfortable bed, nice shower. Bathroom sink is uncomfortable and small, with a shelf in the way when trying to wash your face in the morning. Overall, very happy.

The shower attachment was broken so we had to hold the shower head in order to have a shower. There were bits of mould in the property and the blinds weren’t great. However, the price we paid was relatively low, we all felt comfortable and in a safe location. The WiFi was good, and a lot of amenities were provided with the stay.

Weve stayed twice now. Absolutely loved pur room the second time, we had a private enterance and it felt much more private. Great location, very clean.

Parking was great and it had a good location. The room was reasonably clean. We had a room on the first floor next to the lobby, adjacent to the sidewalk. There was abundant foot traffic both on the street and in the hall. It was noisy and felt like a well worn college dorm. There aren’t hand towels for the bathroom and you can’t fully turn on the water due to a low glass shelf. There was something off about the place and was uncomfortable enough that we found other accommodations rather than stay there. Couldn’t wait to leave.

The only problem for this apartment was no elevator . You have to carry your baggage with the stairs. Our unit was at the 2nd floor. We choose to take only the stuffs we need for overnight stay . Other than that . The location was walkable to all the places we want to visit.

Amazing communication, they let us check in early which was very convenient. Overall clean space and loved how close it was to shops. My only complaint is that the walls were quite thin so it was noisy, and there was no iron in the room, but its a good budget friendly option, and I will be staying here again!

This is the third time we have stayed in Reykjavik in Stay apartments. Would stay again. Spacious, clean, comfy beds, good facilities. Easy to access, great communication. Main point to note is that this is a great price every time we have stayed in expensive Reykjavik. The accomodation is priced great. Only annoying thing is the condensation each morning on the windows, but that could be due to it being a cold country and warm apartments. Still, we plan our return to stay here again! Thanks again for great time at Einholt!

The property was neat overall. There were some gaps in the floor boards that my kids tripped on a couple of times and a loose baseboard or 2. Also, the radiating heater in the bedroom did not seem to work. We tried turning the knob both ways. There was a couple times when our outside door wouldnt open due to it being frozen but we had a great response from the maintenence team, even at midnight, to help us get in. I think the thing I was most unhappy with is that the room offered a washer and dryer which was a deciding factor in booking this place. However, upon arrival, there was no washer and dryer. When I asked about it, I was told that it belonged to another company and they removed it. It would have been nice to have a warning of this, as we did not pack a lot of clothes. Instead, we were referred to a laundromat which cost extra money and did not do a great job. My overall rating of this stay would probably be a 6.5/10. It was within walking distance to a Bonus which was nice and one of the great food halls.

EXCELLENT all around. From the cleanliness of the room and hallway/facility. Located at the South end of all the street in Reykjavik that you want to walk for shopping and dining. Grocery store around the corner to stock you mini-fridge for sandwiches/snacks for day-trip/excursions.

Great overall. Nice and warm, good kitchenette. The windows could have used a clean. The check in instructions didn't arrive for some reason and had to phone the hotel, but the person on the phone was very helpful.

Entry to the property was OK. We had the wrong door code. We called and they gave us the right code. Apartment was adequately equipped with utensils, etc. Heaters worked good. Bathroom curtain rod was held up with duct tape. Beds were OK. Not the quietest room. The good news is they have a washer and dryer. Bad news is that they were abused, both doors were broken. Washer worked, detergent cup also broken. Dryer light came on, but did not work. Overall, an affordable option to stay that is walkable to downtown if you are on a budget.

We did not receive email giving instructions on how to enter our accommodation. I was unable to contact the owner on my own. Fortunately Expedia was able to contact them and get the information for us. To get the information did take some time, we were fortunate we had good internet access on our phone and the refuge of our car as it was raining really hard. The place was a nice size and had all amenities needed. Furniture was nice. Reason for poor rating. There was a constant mildew smell that was very strong and there were quite a few silver fish that were running around. As the place was small we had to put our luggage on the floor and I did not like that silver fish would be around them. If these 3 things could be fixed the place would get a much higher rating.

The apartment is in what looks like an upcoming area with some construction cranes near by. We were there Fri and Sat night so we did not experience any noise from this. The apartment was nice, clean and large for our family of 4 (our teens are young adults). Communication was great, received the email with entrance codes before arrival.

Althought the apartment could use a little exterior and interior update, it is reasonably priced and spacious enough for the family of four ( one bedroom). The apartment is also walking distance to Bus stop 12 and 13 where most of the tour’s meeting point. Close proximity to grocery store as well. The instructions to access the apartment will get send thru email 2 days before your stay. We never had any issues with the door code. They will also offer to store your luggage in case if you arrived early than your check in time.

My kid said \"one star for the toilet\" this apartment is nice, spacious but needs a deep clean. The utensils are very dirty to use and floors, windows and especially the bathroom needs a deep clean. I would throw bleach in the bathroom to clean the mold. Shower is tinny tiny and very smelly. The cabinets are broken and I did not feel the pillows were clean too. I booked it because I could not find anything else in the budget; but will not come back unless I inspect before booking.
