We are a group of 3 friends traveling together. The room was huge and the extra sleeper sofa gave us all our own bed. We had to reset a gfci to get our lights to work, we couldnt get any stations to work on the tv, there was a roach in the bathroom and the bottles in the shower were empty. But the room was comfortable, the breakfast was pretty good, and all the towels and sheets were clean.

The room was mostly clean. There were a few spots that were overlooked as far as cleanliness. The things were not enough to ruin my stay. The area is in a very quiet are (despite being in the circle with the mall). The staff were extremely nice. Breakfast was okay 6/10 (I like scrambled eggs). The pool area was very clean. Very nice hotel to stay in with friendly staff all around. Got locked out of my room due to my key card stopped working and staff was really helpful with fixing the issue. Rooms are very clean and housekeeping staff comes to visit every other day to help keep the rooms nice. Also they do have a small gym that allows you to workout 24/7 with two treadmills, a peloton bike, a few other machines and some free weights. Breakfast tends to be on the earlier side (6AM - 9AM or 10AM on weekends), but there's some variety so you can find something that matches your needs usually.

Ashley helped me check in and she was wonderful! I realized I'd been assigned an accessible room and didn't want to take that from someone who might need it. She got me changed in an instant! The room was SO nice and the location is excellent! Eleven minutes from downtown. And the breakfast was actually worth eating--I was so pleased! I'd definitely stay here again and again.

The Managers and Frontdesk ladies at Home2 Suites were very nice to me, if any small issues did arise they worked them out, this is why when I come to Raleigh, I do not hesitate to stay here. The room smelled like wet dog. Rooms should be separated as pet friendly and no pets. As a non pet owner the smell of dog is disgusting and I choose not to have an animal inside for that reason. So staying in a room that stinks of dog is not a good experience.

Don't stay anywhere else in Raleigh

Only place I stay when I come to Raleigh, which is at least 6x / year. Rooms are massive. Spaces to work and relax are separated so I don't feel like I'm working, sleeping and watching tv in the same place.

Everything was great we stayed at Home 2 Suite at other location before and decided to stay here in Raleigh. Just one inconvenience, our TV in the room wasn’t working and we informed the staff and waited about 45 mins and no one showed up so we had to kept it moving on our schedule. We came back in late and it’s too late to request a maintenance to fix the TV so there was no entertainment for us the whole time while we stayed there. We informed the front desk before we checked out and still we didn’t get any compensation or nothing. Very disappointed. I thought I saw the sign said they would make it right if we dissatisfied with the stay.

The fan in the bathroom made this god awful sound unless it was turned on. It sounded like a dripping faucet constantly. We had to turn it on to make it stop. The refrigerator was really loud and my boyfriend’s car got broken into overnight and his things were stolen out of it along with every other persons vehicle that was in the parking lot that night. Windows got smashed out. Forensics and Raleigh PD were there the following afternoon making reports. Not necessarily the hotels fault at all but that area over there is not safe. I would not recommend staying there. Especially if you have kids. There are some really sketchy characters in that area.

The rooms are very spacious and it was nice to have a real fridge and freezer, microwave, coffee maker, and dishes and a dishwasher. The hotel is very clean and comfortable. The beds are very firm, which was not my favorite, but my hubby loved it. The breakfasts had most of the basics, and the waffle makers were a big hit with everyone. We were here to spend time with family so we did not use the pool or workout facilities. We would come back to this hotel again the next time we are in town to visit family.

Pool was out of order, with no warning until checkin- which was the whole purpose of booking this specific hotel.
Two barking dogs on either side of our room, juts a few doors down each way, barking at each other for hours and hours at a time bc their owners left them locked in the room all day. (Obviously not the fault of the hotel, but frustrating)

This is the second Home2suites I've stayed at and both times were beyond perfect! Customer service, top tier. Rooms cozy and clean. My only minor complaint is the exhaust fan kept making a loud clicking sound throughout the night. Other than that minor issue, I'll be back.
