This is my third or fourth time staying at this location. I have always been pleased but noticed in recent years it was in need of renovation. This time I was pleased to see they are in the process of renovating and I was placed in a newly renovated room. Breakfast was great, staff is very friendly and coffe is always available.

The room was in good condition, the fridge worked great, clean. Staff great. Every time I got off on the 4th floor it smelled like marijuana. Need new towels. Refreshments in lobby very nice, especially apples individually wrapped. Breakfast was ok , nice shells were still on boiled eggs. Very clean in food area, the lady putting out food kept the area full, clean, she was attentive to my needs, and can speak English fluently. Most of all I requested an Accessible room at time of reservation over a month ago, but Juan at desk didn’t see any request when I checked in. Not happy, but took another room anyways.

My stay was okay at first until I used the microwave and my food could not get taken out it was stuck in there and the microwave would not stop going so finally someone came up with another microwave and that did not work as well. My food is probably still in that microwave because staff refused to remove it . So it smelled in my room of rotten food . Then the staff allows the homeless to come in and drink the coffee and argue with paying customers. I filed a complaint which I was sent 35000 points but never was given an apology or anything from

To start off, the entire hotel is under construction, so the noise was ridiculous. Our room and shower were disgusting. There was blood on the walls with boogers pee, stain carpets, and a cushion chair that was stained beyond belief. The shower curtain wouldn’t stay up. This place was disgusting and there was no rooms left to change. We should’ve been notified prior to booking about the construction, very disappointed!!

Upon arrival, they gave us a room that was not cleaned (unmade bed and trash in room with a terrible odor). We were ab3lw to get the last available room. Unfortunately the Toilet did not flush and the shower sprayed all over. Breakfast didnt have eggs for over 45 minutes one morning ans the next, no hot water for tea for over 30 minutes. Thair renovationa havw nit addressed an usable elevator, guest room doors that sonr close securely, bathroom doors that don't operate properly. I heard of other guests who had to be moved out of their rooms and the initial room being marked as out of order as well of other guests who had to be moved out of their rooms and the initial room being marked as out of order
Additionally, 3 cars were broken into on the first night of our stay.

Definitely needs updating. There was no hair dryer in the room and we had bugs in the bathroom that was freaking everyone out but just needed a safe cozy place to sleep and this worked. I will say they are starting remodeling so hopefully these things improve. Front desk was nice and helpful

The room was well below standard as if wasn't even cleaned before i checked in. The bed wasn't made all the way. Frozen food was left in the freezer. There was an empty beer bottle on the floor. The phone in the room didn't work. The front desk gave my guest a hard time about checking in even though she had i.d. And 3 different house keepers walked in the room without knocking, unannounced. The whole experience was unacceptable

I go to check into this hotel and they told me they don’t have my reservation. Yet everyone can see that it exists besides them. The hotels.com and my app plus email can see that my reservation exists. So I’m left with no where to stay because everywhere in the area is sold out. Do not recommend this hotel and will never return.

The location kind of surprised us but there was plenty of dining options nearby including a few within walking area. Our room was spacious, very neat and clean. I took advantage of the room refigerator filling it with local produce from the local Farmers Market. The free breakfast was well maintained with a good variety of choises. Staff was pleasant and attentive to our needs. There was renovations going on but not on occupied areas .

I had basic needs for this stay, but it gave me what I needed: a clean room, safety, and proximity to all of my destinations. I didn't have much interaction with the staff, but the front desk attendees at check-in and check-out were fine. My only issue was not being able to park near the door because several dumpsters and trucks were there as they are renovating.

Literally stank so badly I could not wait to leave

What I got for $150 a night, mid-week, was a subpar, aged Motel 6 that quite literally stank so badly I could not wait to leave. It was likely a combination of age, run-down condition, and the cheap chemicals used for cleaning that created that horrible smell. Breakfast was equally basic. Overall, it was bad. Front desk was good ....

the pictures of this place is insane. our shower was peeling and trust me i wore my flip flops in the shower it was that bad. this place looks like someone died in there and i would not stay here. the staff was friendly and great but geez this place was disgusting.

Terrible stinky old hotel

Very old and musty hotel, room smelled terrible. Breakfast was not great except for strawberry waffles. This hotel should have been renovated years ago, they let it go too long. Slowest elevators ive ever experienced in a hotel. Bed was not comfortable nor were the pillows. They also hit my credit card 3x with nearly $500 authorizations each time. If i paid in full upon checkin plus the additional $90 deposit, why is it necessary to hit your card for 2 additional authorizations when the room is paid.

Ill reconsider any Hampton inn in the future and stay with marriott bonvoy and ihg brands

They are currently remodeling, take this into consideration. I did not have a remodeled room so the bathroom left a bit to be desired. Old tub some mold. The pool was great, refreshing, towels for pool use. Plenty of options to eat nearby, free parking and plenty of it. Staff was super friendly and accommodating. And the included breakfast was great. The elevators are slow! And the ice machines were off, my guess due to construction I am certain they could provide some if asked. Overall, I would stay here again.

Hampton Inn Raleigh-Capital Blvd is in a great location with easy access to all major roads. Staff is very accommodating but the hotel is in the middle of some major renovations. If you are planning a visit - stay away from the floors where work is ongoing. The included breakfast has many options and a coffee bar is available 24/7. The website lists in-room safes as one of the amenities but the 2 rooms we stayed in (we had to move due to a leak from the bathroom above us) did not have any safes in them. I'm sure this place will rate 5 stars once the renovations are completed.

Keep in mind, it's being renovated.

Overall the stay was fine. The staff was very friendly and provided all info we needed for our short stay.

We knew and understood that renovations would be going on, and that was not an issue. That in mind, I cannot give a fair review because what I thought was an issue for me (outdated carpet, loose/missing carpeting in some areas, A/C not working) can all be part of the ongoing changes. However, I do hope they throw out the pullout sofa in our room because it had bug \"remnants\" and stains on the mattress and more stains on the cushion. We didn't event sit on it after seeing that. The bed was clean and super comfy.
The best thing for me was that the bathroom was super clean.

My wife and I drove over 3 hours from South Carolina on 3/14/25 to visit Raleigh for our Anniversary for the weekend. However, our visit was cut short due to plumbing issues in room 402 where was assigned. There was no hot water in which we couldn't wash. The toilet also began backing up when flushed during the night time. Went to the receptionist to complain on the night of 3/14/25 and she notified the on call maintenance staff and she stated he said nothing couldn't been done that night and it would been the next day. The receptionist didn't offer us a plunger. This was unacceptable and me and my wife had to check early on the morning of 3/15/25 due to inadequate plumbing in which prevented us from washing and using the bathroom. My wife also has medical issues and needed hot water. We was going to stay in room until 3/16/25 but our Anniversary weekend got ruined due to the plumbing issues. I will be filing a complaint with the North Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control.

Hotel was very much in need of refurbishments which was supposedly happening during our stay, but they hadn’t got to our room yet. Bathroom was in poor condition, barely any hot water, carpets were dirty and room phone did not work. Area with breakfast was decent but customer service at front desk was not overly friendly. Would not recommend this hotel.
