Spent two nights here in December. Just a few meters off of the Carnot Square, the La Central Boutique Hotel was the perfect location to see everything you want to see in Beaune! And the staff were extremely friendly and helpful! Would definitely stay here again the next time we are in Beaune!

This hotel is in a lovely location. Just off of the bustling square of lovely Beaune with its many restaurants and wine shops. Despite its busy location our room was quiet once the windows were closed. The bathroom was great with a lovely hot shower. The only issue was that the duvet was too heavy for the time of year. It is august and it was a bit hot so its just as well the shower was good. There was a kettle for tea and coffee but only if you like it black as there was no milk. We didnt have breakfast.

Beaune is a beautiful little town, well worth a visit. The hotel is right in the centre - ideally located for exploring. Our room was clean and well-equipped and the staff were lovely. Would recommend and would stay here again. Plenty of free parking nearby too.

We were welcomed very warmly by reception. We stayed in the Luxe room (2 adults, 2 teens). They had the sofa bed made already. Both beds were very comfortable and the town was absolutely gorgeous. Everyone was very nice and accommodating. Would definitely recommend!!!

We stayed here for one night in January en route to tech French Alps for our skiing holiday. It is a nicely located hotel in the centre of Beaune making it a good base to explore the town. We were made very welcome on arrival and nothing was too much trouble for the staff including parking our car for us in the pre booked car park and arranging a table in local restaurant for dinner. The room we had was a suite and was very pleasant and probably more than we needed for a one night stay. Breakfast was a basic buffet but adequate. As there was a Saturday Market, we left a little late and the hotel were happy to accommodate us for this. We would recommend to others.

The location is great, right next to the town square in the center. We easily walked to everywhere we needed to go, such as bakeries, wine shops, restaurants. There is a free parking lot 4 min walk away. The service was also excellent, very friendly staff, and they let us bring our own wine and cheese and bread to eat at the hotel restaurant, providing plates and silverware. The hotel room is quite old though, and smells of old carpet. The shower head is very low so we had to hold it by hand while using it. Overall, it's good value considering the location and service.

Parking is a bit complicated but it’s free from 7PM to 9 AM and at lunch time so for 24 hrs period you’re looking at about €12 a day…. Once you found a spot. But it’s worth it. Great little too. And good breakfast. I strongly recommended

Super cute boutique hotel that had air-conditioning! We lucked out and were able to park right across the street from the hotel for free. Very convenient location to area bars and restaurants. rooms were a little small, but we had two large suitcases with us.

Good location as the name suggests. We had an excellent room, spotlessly clean with a particularly nice bathroom. Large walk in shower, two sinks, decent towels. Air con worked really well and was quiet. We did pay for a larger room however so can’t vouch for the rest. No lift and we were on second floor so lugging bags up not for everyone. We received a very warm welcome on arrival and all the staff were helpful. Breakfast ok but if you don’t want much (it was buffet style) then pop round the corner for a coffee and croissant at a more reasonable price. Watch out for the cost of parking. You can park for free in the square after 19:00 until 09:00 the next day but we paid the max 2.5 hours because we were early and it cost €35. Better to pay an hour at a time at €2.20 ph. We also had a bad experience in one of the local restaurants. Our order was forgotten and then the food was cold when it did eventually arrive. They seemed to be understaffed and under pressure so maybe just a sign of the times.

Note there is no lift or bell service, so you’ll be carrying your bags up and down the stairs.

Great place to stay to discover Beaune
My 4 nights at the Hotel Le Central in Beaune were great. The hotel is across the road from the main square (Place Carnot) and very close to the hospices de Beaune. Plenty of bars, restaurants and wine bars all within a minute or so on foot. I parked at the parking Madeleine which is 400m from the hotel and free. Finding a space even over the 14th July holiday was not a problem. Check in was easy and straightforward. The staff were all polite and friendly, very professional. Helpful too.
The room was a 1-bed, enough for a solo traveller like me. I would just say, however, that there was a crack in the paintwork, which did not really make any difference and the area outside my room (back stairs) could do with being redecorated, but again, a minor point.
The hotel was nice and quiet, even with a terrasse below. And a nice thought was the fact that you could ask for water whenever the reception was open and it was free. I probably would not have thought to drink any otherwise, so good for staying hydrated (and for diluting all the wine!).

The hotel is conveniently located on a pleasant square in the old city. It is an easy walk to get there from the train station. It is definitely not a boutique hotel. The room was reasonably comfortable and reasonably clean. The walls between rooms are very thin and we could often hear our neighbours. Our room was very poorly lit. Some of the public spaces of the hotel were not well cleaned.

Lovely little hotel with very friendly service. No proper shower just a shower head over the bath. This was fine as we only stayed two nights. Great for children we stayed with our 9yr old twins and there were two other sets of twins there at the same time!

Great stay! Not all rooms have AC, so make sure to book an AC room, if that's important to you. We accidentally booked a room without AC during the heatwave, but luckily they had one AC room available and were very accommodating with a switch (for an extra 10 euros a night)

Wonderful location in the city center. Close to many restaurants and a carousel. The “hospices”museum is 1 block away and the Saturday market was amazing. Staff was very friendly and our family room had air conditioning. There was also a foosball table and a vintage video game machine to entertain the kids. We can’t wait to visit again.

We stayed in Beaune on the way from Provence to the UK, to break up the trip. The hotel location was great, the staff were friendly and welcoming and room was spacious and clean. Only negative was a funny smell from the toilet and bathroom, I suspect this was drainage related but you noticed it as soon as you walked in the room. However this was only a tiny negative as there was a door separating the bedroom from the hall where the toilet and bathroom were situated.
Overall Beaune was great and the hotel was well placed and suited our needs, I would definitely consider staying here again.

Not a Traditional Hotel
If you are expecting a standard type hotel in the center of an old French town this place is not for you. The hotel is very central to the Beaune city center sites and free parking is a few minutes walk if you have a car. The hotel is located in the middle of two restaurants and a bar. The hotel has a funky feel to it with the rooms split up between a few nearby locations. Due to my wife's mobility issues we were given room 11 which was disabled friendly and quite large but you had to walk through an outdoor restaurant to get to you room- very weird. The room was clean but felt dirty. The staff were very helpful with our questions. Again if you are expecting a traditional hotel thus is not for you, but it was funky and near the town center.

This as a fun and funky hotel in the heart of Beaune. the location is perfect for this town int he middle of Burgundy. our room was large and comfortable and essential air conditioning for our July stay. While they do not have an elevator, they were quick to help us get our large bags up the stairs and into our room.
