The entrance was tucked away next to the hotel and we made it in the second time around and parked at the alley entry and then used the hotel parking which was super convenient. Staff changed our room so I would not need to haul bags up steps. The room was great but smaller than we had planned. It was a short walk to the old city so location was fabulous. The hospital museum was a must see highlight.

Okay but!

Whilst Beaune is fabulous this hotel is really more of a stop over for us. The car parking is good but should be reserved beforehand. Bedrooms and bathrooms okay but a bit tight.
The biggest issue was the indifference of the reception staff. Unlike any of the friendly staff that we experienced elsewhere on our trip.

Beaune was beautiful.
Secure car parking was a plus.
The beds were very comfy.
Bathroom on the small side....
Stairs were steep but there was a lift if that was an issue.
Dog friendly was one of the reasons we chose it.

Convenient stop over hotel in the centre of Beaune

This is the 3rd time we have used this hotel. It’s very convenient in the centre of Beaune with secure parking. Our room was good, breakfast was good and a bonus was the large fluffy towels which is unusual in France! Would certainly recommend.

Two nights stay. Beaune is an interesting old town. Plenty of restaurants but all with similar menus. Hotel is comfortable but the room was sparsely furnished.. Whoever designed the bathroom needs their head examining. To get to the toilet you have to open the door and then step into the shower, then close the door. Also the bathroom light shines straight into the face of anyone in bed. Very conducive to romantic nights

Hope you’re tiny if you want to use bathroom

Smallest bathroom ever encountered. If I hadn’t lost 4 stone I wouldn’t have been able to get in, struggled as it was (i am size 12). Therefore unable to have a shower. Massive bedroom, empty of furniture other than bed and tiny side table. I would not stay here again.

Lovely family friendly spot in Beaune

Very comfortable and quiet rooms, queen and two single beds for family with teenagers is always more comfortable than the fold out couch option, so we were very happy. Location is great with 3 min walk to centre of town. Secure parking is a bonus as well. Breakfast nice with something for everyone.

We were dissapointed that there were a lot of building materials laying around the outside the hotel. Our room was big and clean but there was no lights on the 3rd floor landing were the room was. I found it rather sloppy as it was difficult to open room door, had to use torch on the mobile to touch electronic lock properly.
Perhaps there should be a message on the listing that the hotel is undergoing building work.

Check in was incredibly fast and nice. We arrived by car and was welcomed with the key to the room and instruction of how to park - without leaving our car :-)
Everything was nice and smooth except for the lady in the breakfast room - she was rude and not service oriented. Covid restrictions must of course be observed - but mistakes can be corrected with charm.

Our family of five stayed in two large rooms (2 doubles in each room).
The rooms are spacious, clean yet simple - a tv, a comfortable bed and a nice bathroom. No fridge or kettle or other self catering elements.

Of note, breakfast is not in the price so ensure you ask directly or budget for more. We went out for breakfast from the market which is about 300m away and held Wednesday and Saturday.

Centrally located within 100m you are into the restaurants, wine bars, tasting centers, etc...

The best thing about the room was the air conditioning ! The shower room all worked well and the windows would open if required.The service was excellent in particular the manager who spoke good English and was very helpful ( particularly getting a taxi ).

The hotel was OK - great location in Beaune but like many hotels in France, the room was smaller than we expected.
My main issue however is actually with Expedia. The “deal” was supposedly for a room normally costing £110, reduced to £75 or so. What we actually got was a room costing €89.50 (£78.50) on the hotels standard rack rate - so no deal at all. Very disappointed with Expedia

Very nice quaint family run hotel within walking distance of most attractions. Plenty of parking and very friendly owners and staff. Breakfast was fine..usual French fare. For those with mobility problems make sure to ask for a room on the main floor. Everything was clean, beds were comfortable and room larger than most hotels.

My husband and I stayed here overnight en route to Calais from Bandol in the South. The hotel is right in central Beaune, which is really lovely, very quaint and we would definitely visit there again. The hotel staff are very friendly and extremely helpful. The hotel is simple but comfortable and very clean and the breakfast was delicious. The hotel has a secure car park which is a bonus. I would definitely recommend this hotel for an overnight stay or weekend break. The staff could not have been nicer.

Great Stop to Taste the Best Wine in France

Didn't stay for too long but it was a great place to stop over and go to the Marche Aux Vins to taste some of the best wines in France. Comfortable, Great Service and even let me check out late. Definitely the place to stop when you're in Beaune as it's not too far from the train station and is close to everything.

Cheap Amenities Except For Central Location

The hotel is cheaply maintained and offers little in terms of amenities. There was not even hot water kettle in the room or slippers. The shower head is so cheap that it has only one setting and sprays water over the side of bathtub making the floor so wet that it runs into the bedroom. My kids bedroom ceiling shows water marks probably from similar problems in the bathrooms on the upper floor. Sound insulation is none between the walls so you can hear people talking and walking in the hall way and between the room next to you. Check out is 10:30 am. I would not go back.

When I arrived I asked to see the room. It was dirty, with unclean sheets. It stunk of cigarettes. I was overlooking the main road. It was like an awful hostile. Do not stay here unless it is a dire emergency. Cancel before it is too late.

Affordable & comfortable hotel near old Beaune.

A small but comfortable room especially considering the affordable price when you consider the average size and cost of hotel rooms in France. Very well situated just outside the walls of old Beaune the hotel has a number of good restaurants nearby as well as a large free public parking lot just across the street. Staff was very welcoming and helpful. Would probably stay here again.

This hotel in Beaune is kind of standard or average and outdated. But the location is wonderful for walking around Beaune and we had a rental car and there is parking at the hotel which is wonderful. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Gave us milk and kept things in the refrigerator for us. The room has minimal amentities but you can ask at the desk for whatever you want.

Room #15 is basic and the bathroom was recently remodeled. It provided twin beds, a closet, small desk, 2 small chairs, a luggage rack, and one small nightstand between the twin beds. The bathroom was a tub/shower combination. There were no extras other than a TV. The hotel charged for secure parking and for breakfast. The location is very close to the very center of Beaune yet it was very quiet. The reception staff was very kind and helpful.

Perfect Base for Wine Trip

We picked this due to the location and value. Beaune is prefect as a base for a wine trip due to central location and many good restaurants within walking distance. The hotel is squeaky clean, and the ground floor rooms are recently renovated with very good shower-only bathroom and comfortable beds with 4 pillows. There is no noise. The secure car park is an advantage as one accumulates fine Burgundy wine in the boot. Breakfast is continental with very good coffee, bread, croissants and some cheese.

Great location with Parking!

Great service and a spotless room - it did the trick for a decent price. Near lots of restaurants and bakeries too which made walking to whatever we wanted extremely easy. Parking was plentiful, and hotel owner was quite nice and to top it off, he spoke excellent english.
