I hated this place. Felt like a prison. Rough small towels. The floor was still wet in the bathroom and they left the dirty pillowcases from the last guests on the floor. Robot check in where everyone in line behind us could see the code to our room.

Not so good. I arrived at 4.30 and it was computerised entry.
It wanted me to pay again for entry.
I had to wait until 5pm plus before I could enter. I was tired after a long drive from Pas de Calais so was not happy.
The manager was delightful and if not for him I thi k it would have been a disaster.

We arrived late but easily accessed the hotel by security code. Hotel has secure parking, is very clean and the 'all you can eat' breakfast is excellent including bacon and scrambled egg!

Not a great standard
Bedclothes smelt musty and bathroom had not been properly cleaned. Breakfast is standard and normally includes bacon as an option as well as wholemeal type of bread. Both of these were absent at Beaune B & B. Unfortunately as a result I will look for a different hotel next visit

I did not expect luxury, but the problem was the location, a 20 min walk home alone in the dark from the town centre, as there are no taxis in the evening in Beaune. that should be clear in the information given.

Hotel's responsibility regarding cigarette smoke.
I have given the hotel an unsatisfactory evaluation on \"Cleanliness\" due to permitting people to smoke just outside the front door to the hotel and not requiring the smokers to move away and dispose of their cigarette butts in the appropriate containers which should be located far away from the doors and windows of the hotel. Smoking is a disgusting habit made worse by inconsiderate smokers who are near doors and windows that bring the smoke inside the facility. The hotel has a responsibility to all of its guests to provide a clean and friendly atmosphere free from noxious and harmful smoke. In all other respects, the hotel 's cleanliness was satisfactory.

Good Budget Place to Stay in Beaune
Beaune is a great place to visit, but the hotels can be pricey. B&B Hotel Beaune Sud 2 is a good budget alternative, especially if you have a car since it is a bit of a walk to the town center. My room here was similar to and as good as ones at Ibis where I've stayed before at a higher price. Also, the manager of this hotel is very very nice!

The only negative things are that it is quite close to the trainline, so there is some noise as a result and, the breakfast room is small and choice was limited.

The hotel was within a nice walk to a supermarket, ATM and the quaint old centre of town where there is lots to see. The hotel itself was great for a place to sleep but lacked any flair or warmth of atmosphere. The service staff were friendly and helpful. A nice breakfast was available too.

Fire exit door open at all times for entry & exit outside our room- noisy and surely making the hotel insecure to guests who have to input code for entry via main door. Mattress soiled and had no mattress protected. Duvets were too small for the width of bed.

We stayed here twice on our way to and from Italy. Excellent for an overnight stop and good value for money. Rooms clean and comfortable and breakfast was good. The only negative is that it is near the railway line and if your room is on the front of the hotel as ours was on our first night you are disturbed by the noise. Fortunately on our return trip we asked for a room away form the railway line and staff were happy to accommodate this request.

If you’re looking for somewhere to stay for one or two nights then the B&B hotels take some beating especially when you look at their room rate. We have made three one-night visits to these and they are all much the same in quality and in the way they operate. The spotlessly clean en-suite rooms are small but the beds are extremely big and comfortable, the showers are powerful and hot. There is satellite TV and excellent free Wi-Fi, enough storage to hang a few clothes and a writing desk.
The rooms we stayed in were quiet and we heard very little noise from other guests.
Self Service ‘eat as much as you want’ breakfast is basic but at €6 you can’t expect five star service. One issue we did find that there was not sufficient seating for everyone having breakfast to find somewhere to sit at its busiest times.

Overnight stop on our way back from holiday. I didn't rate the hotel service higher, but just because the checking in is automated and we haven't spoken to anyone. Weird experience at first, but we loved the simpleness of everything. Pleasantly surprised with the continental breakfast.

Shame about the noise!
Cheap and cheerful, and good value for money. The hotel is located within easy walking distance of the town centre and an excellent hypermarket. It is easily accessible from the autoroute. Unfortunately, our room was located on the ground floor, next to the reception/breakfast area, and our stay happened to coincide with that of a fairly large group who were up for breakfast at 6.30 and inevitably made a considerable amount of noise. This was a great pity, because in other respects, the hotel makes an ideal stopping-off place if driving through France.

B and B Beaune Sud. Vous arrivez à l'hôtel. Une dizaine de personnes en attente devant le guichet de réception automatique... Impossible d'obtenir son code malgré une réservation en bonne et due forme! Il faut attendre 17 heures pour qu'une personne (très agréable) reçoive les gens et fournisse le sésame pour avoir accès à sa chambre!! Une heure d'attente donc. Et le matin au petit déjeuner nous découvrons une pièce minuscule qui ne peut accueillir que la moité des clients!!! Jamais vu cela, c'est vraiment inouï.... Impossible de recommander cette chaîne hôtelière! Pour nous c'est terminé!

Rien à dire sur la propreté. Il manquait juste une table de chevet et oreillers trop plats

Aucun soucis avec l'accueil et la propreté de l'établissement. Un point qui devrait être amélioré concerne le petit déjeuner. Quand j'y suis arrivé (8h50) reste un croissant, zéro pain au chocolat. Le pain brioché manquait de fraîcheur ( peut être le reste de la veille ?), restait la baguette et des mini tranches de pain gris.

Il s'agit d'une nuit d'hôtel dans le cadre d'une étape pour me rendre en vacances.
Arrivée tardive et là c'est le drame....
Impossible d'ouvrir le portail pour entrer sur le parking sans avoir enregistré sa chambre sur le terminal prévu à cet effet.... du coup voiture dans la rue le temps de faire la démarche, malheureusement, même avec le code impossible d'ouvrir le portail !!!
Du coup 10 voitures en attentes 5 codes de différents clients essayés et toujours impossible d'ouvrir le portail, mais aussi la porte pour accéder aux chambres.
Heureusement un client déjà présent dépanne ouvre le portail et nous ouvre la porte d'accès. Fort heureusement le code ouvre bien la porte de la chambre, sinon...
Un seul terminal, dix familles en attente, un terminal lent au possible, au format PMR bonne initiative, mais impossible de lire l'écran sans être plié en deux.
Je comptais être couché à 00h00 mais il a fallut 45mn pour faire l'enregistrement. La pause a donc été plus courte que prévue.

Lors de mon arrivée dans la chambre qui m'avait été attribuée, j'ai constaté que celle-ci n'avait pas été faite. Le lit et la salle de bain étaient dans l'état exact où le précédent client les avait laissés en quittant la chambre et la porte ne fermait pas à clé. Bien que le personnel ait réagi rapidement en me changeant de chambre, cet incident a grandement terni mon expérience de séjour.

Je me suis trompé entre deux B&B à 200m de distance. Le temps de comprendre pourquoi mon code etait non reconnu à la borne, le portail automatique s’etait refermé, sans code pour l’ouvrir. Le numero de tél de B&B étant payant (!!) j’ai fini par trouver une borne d’appel, 5 min d’attente pour avoir un code de sorti.
Concernant le second B&B l’interface tactile décalibrée n’acceptait le chiffre « 1 » donc saisit du code de reservation plus que pénible j’ai du m’y reprendre à de nombreuses reprises.
Chambre ok, bien qu’on attende le train qui passe à proximité. Mais l’unique distributeur de savon était vide, j’ai pu me laver les mains une fois, on ne parle pas de la douche. Lamentable.
