Definitely not a fan! We expected so much more for the price. I am really not difficult, but at over $250 for the room, it could have had a coffee machine and not just powdered coffee, and maybe some way of putting clothes or a suitcase away so we did not need to ALL on the floor at all times - not to mention there was no shelving in the bathroom. Finally, the reception were great, but the cleaning ladies often missed putting refills of things in the room and would leave or take used wine glasses depending on the day; so we never knew if we had to go down to get more or not until we got back in the room. It was not all bad, as the hotel itself is quite nice with ample parking and its location was good being just out of the centre.

An overall nice stay and experience at this hotel. Check-in was easy and service was friendly. We enjoyed sitting at the pool on a hot day, and being able to use to patio/lounge area outside. We did not travel by car, and it was an easy walk to the town center and train station. Climate control was good and kept the rooms cool.

The hotel itself is clean and modern, with good facilities and on-site parking. It’s location is unprepossessing and a bit difficult to find or get to, given Beaune’s one-way system outside the old ramparts, not helped by the fact that the gate to the car parking was closed at night: secure but misleading, as we missed the entrance as a result.

They need to provide aircon

Small but well laid out room with a decent shower. Hotel foyer and bar area attractive. However we had a poor night’s sleep as the room was way too hot and the aircon was either not working, or had been disabled. The only option was to open the window, which brought a lot of road noise.

Room was good. Hotel allowed us to move our non-refundable booking and pay the difference which was fantastic. Only one member of staff at the bar who also did room service and our phone in the room didn't work so had to wait at the bar to order. Not the biggest deal and wait wasn't over 10 mins.
The toilet made loud noises / running water noises during the night after being flushed making it difficult to sleep and the coffee machine had a blaring green light on it.

The breakfast was great though, standard hotel buffets breakfast.
I would stay here again.

A comfortable, reliable and convenient stopping off on way to or from mountains or the coast. Walking distance to centre but quiet and spacious. Rooms are functional and well insulated, terrace for dinner and breakfast and secure parking. Hotel have sensible Covid risk minimisation procedures in place.

Excellent location, been modernised since last here. Comfortable beds, quiet & hot showers. Fridges have disappeared from the rooms now as have Nespresso machines but kettle with coffee & tea supplied. Near supermarket & so close to town centre. Free parking, Wi-fi & Cheap dog fee too... very good.

Nice hotel, good location, great staff

The hotel is your standard chain hotel however the staff at this location were wonderful. They helped us with cabs, ATM, local restaurants etc. The maid was so great refilling everything daily. Location to the city center is about a 10 minute walk with free parking. Our only complaint was the room was a sauna even with the heat off, windows open as much as u could, and the outside temperature around 60 F

Great outdoor space to enjoy some burgundy wine

This was our second time staying here. Love the outdoor area and breakfast. Hotel rooms overall are definitely showing signs of aging. We were woken at 4:30am by a delivery truck as our room was right above the loading dock. I remembered the same thing happened last time. Ask for a room on the pool side of the hotel, not overlooking the parking lot and away from the loading dock!

To take a shower, you must stand in the tub. There is no grab bar, no grip mat in the tub, and the tub is about 3 feet off the ground, making it extremely difficult to get out. I injured my right knee trying to get out of the tub, and cannot walk on it. Considering that we will be in Europe for another 25 days, this is a disaster!! Great for a one night stay.

We had a one night stay here on our way south to Provence.
The rooms are on the small size but comfortable with good amenities and a good shower. We had a privilege room which included an in room safe and fridge, not available in classic rooms. The hotel is in a great position, near the motorway and a ten minute walk to the centre of Beaune, which is a beautiful town with plenty of good restaurants and bars. We did not eat in the hotel restaurant so cannot comment on the food. We stay in this hotel at least once a year and would certainly recommend it for a one or two night stay.

Check in was quick and easy. Location excellent as we could walk into old town. Room was fine except bed was very hard. Also , I have decided that hotels which allow pets can be ok, but then sometimes they can smell a little like a wet dog.

A good stop on the way to Lyon

Dinner at the hotel was necessary because local restaurants were \"complet\", ie filled. Their foie gras was fine. The coq au vin blanc with fresh noodles was just ok. The chicken was forgettable, but the noodles were good. The Charolais steak served rare as requested was excellent.
Breakfast, as usual in a Mercure was more than ample.

We have stayed here before but were disappointed this time. The room was above a noisy fan (possibly the kitchen), and the room was very small. We did not sleep well. Parking is good and a short walk into the centre of the town, which we love. We will stay here again but hopefully a better room.
