The hotel was nice but dated. The location was good. It was just a short walk to downtown. There are restaurants and a grocery store nearby. There was plenty of onsite parking. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. I'd stay here again.

A surprisingly pleasant stay.

This was just a stop-over on a long journey so we weren't looking for a lot - and didn't expect it from a modern, industrial-estate hotel, but we were really impressed. Very comfortably appointed (note the special memory foam pillows), clean and well looked-after. The staff couldn't be more helpful and friendly and the breakfast was excellent. Kettles in the rooms are an unusual bonus in France and very welcome.

The hotel is situated very conveniently on the outskirts of Beaune and, despite being near the motorway, it was very quiet (even with a coach party there at the same time).

The dinner was excellently prepared and well presented, and the staff made it a very pleasant evening. We'll definitely be back next year.

Choose carefully within all hotels in this group.

A convenient stop just off the motorway and within walking distance of an American grill eatery which was really good. We paid for breakfast which was mediocre for the price . The cooked breakfast ran out and was replaced after some time with scrambled eggs and a few scraps of bacon. An expensive experience. This is part of a hotel group with includes the campanile wher we stayed the previous night in Reims and had a very different experience. More upmarket with a lovely breakfast. We stayed in a Kriad in Dijon a couple of years before which looked either new or had been recently refurbished so a very mixed experience. I guess you take your chance but out of the two I'd stay in a Campinile over the Kyriad unless I knew it had been updated. The carpets were shabby and appeared unhoovered with crumbs and bits on them. Staff were okay and laid back. Good location for getting into town.

What are you looking for? Two weeks holiday accommodation, well this is not the place. A night whilst traveling to the south of France, ideal. Just off the motorway, restaurants nearby and in-house plus cheap fuel at the Carrafour supermarket locally.

This hotel was awful. The first room they gave us had mold on the walls, ants in the bathroom, and stunk like fish. Need I say more. Because it was 11 at night, we requested a new room that was better, but smelled as if it was drenched in febreeze to cover up the moldy smell. I would not recommend this hotel.

Overpriced small smoky room

We had a very bad experience with this hotel. To start with, the room smelt horribly to tobacco. When we talked to the receptionist, who could not speak English fluently enough, he said that the rooms were for non-smokers and that that was not possible. He followed us to the room and after some very dramatic deep breaths, he claimed that he could not smell anything different to usual.

In addition, the door to the bathroom was broken and the shower/tub had a leak.

On the positive side, the hotel is in a nice location and includes free parking and wifi in the price. I should say that the discount shown in the webpage is fake according to the prices shown in the room. Nothing in this hotel is very crystal clear

Great little hotel for an overnight stopover

The hotel is a no frills hotel but pleasant enough. The staff were very courteous and helpful. We took 3 rooms. The rooms were fairly clean - a few pubic hairs found in the bathroom of our room but the bathroom itself was perfectly adequate. The beds were comfortable and the linen clean. The room was a little warm for us but the air-con did not seem to produce any cold air regardless of temp setting. We opened the window instead and left it open all night, which was fine. There is a bar and a dining area next to the reception. The bar sells a very small but very agreeable selection of the region's wines which can be bought by the bottle or carafe of various sizes - I recommend the Haute Cotes de Beaune 2011. We used the dining area for breakfast which was a delicious, plentiful and varied buffet. The car park has plenty of spaces.

Nice hotel, convenient to town

We used the Kyraid at Beaune for a one night stop whilst travelling through France. It was ideal for that purpose being convenient to the town and not only has its own restaurant but is close to other eating places. Facilities are OK for a single night stop but know that we would not have been happy for a longer stay.

Basic Hotel 1 Mile from Beaune Center

Stay at hotel was fine. Room was small and basic but clean and with decent shower. There is a path from the hotel to walk to the town which takes about 20 minutes to walk or is about 5 minutes by car. It is in an area that houses numerous basic hotels. Hotel halls had slight odor but room seemed fine although we always had an open window. Hotel has restaurant for meals although the town of Beaune has many nice places to eat. Easy to run/jog in the countryside or toward town from the hotel because of the path that runs right outside of the hotel.

Poor service on the day

On arrival we were welcomed very politely but was not informed there had been a serious problem with the foul waste infrastructure in a room on our floor. The room door was open and it could be seen that the toilet system had had a failure. The door being left open, supposedly to air the room, filled the corridor with the most awful smell. Overnight the door had been closed and the smell therefore was reduced but not eradicated. We decided that as our room was far enough away and beyond the smell we would not complain. The restaurant had a limited menu but value for money, however my wife has various allergies and a list (in French) was presented to the waiter unfortunately although the list was handed to the chef the salad was delivered covered in balsamic vinegar. By this time after a long day on the road we called it a day and retired to our room.

A bit disappointing

I had never traveled with the Kyriad chain so I was unfamiliar with what to expect, but I figured since I was seeing so many of them all around France I might as well give it a try. The free parking and wifi is a plus of course, but the hotel was a bit small and cramped, without an elevator. We were put on the second floor, so we had to lug our suitcases up two long flights of stairs. Our 3 person room was an attic room with a slanted ceiling and the thermostat was set too low (and we couldn't change it). There was barely any space to even put our suitcases down. For travelers who do not speak French, note that the TV does not have any English channels. For that price per night, stay in a different hotel.

Your website listed this hotel as less than 1km from town but it was a long way away - more like 4km. We were on foot, with large bags, no taxis were available at the station so this info caused us much difficulty. Also, getting to town each day was a problem without a car. You also had no street number in the hotel address on our confirmation booking form to it was impossible to find. I suggest distances are measured from a town's main Post Office, which is the general norm, rather than relying on the hotel to state. The hotel was indifferent to our issues.

This is a clean, fairly modern, basic room. The room is quite small (apparently typical for this price range). My only complaint is the beds are too hard - someone apparently, incorrectly, believes that firmer is better for your back.

Location and neighborhood is good, I would stay there again.

We decided on this hotel as it was half way to the south of France. The staff were very friendly and albeit the rooms are quite basic they are clean and perfectly fine for an overnight stop. We actually stayed on our return journey as we knew what to expect. The food was very good, the wine perhaps a bit pricey but nonetheless we enjoyed both our stopovers.

It is a simple hotel, with restaurant if you don´t want to go to the city for dinner. Room is not large, but allows decent circulation. Coffee is complimentary as well as wifi.

Nous avons été très bien accueilli et l’accueil avait pris en compte ma demande. Personnel sympathique. L’hôtel est bien situé à 15 mn à pied du centre-ville. Le parking est sécurisé. La chambre est petite et étroite, la salle de bain avec une baignoire est un peu dangereuse pour des personnes âgées, elle est très petite. La chambre mérite un rafraîchissement.Il y a 1 étage sans ascenseur et si vous êtes chargés ce n’est pas pratique.. Le petit déjeuner est correct mais la baguette et le thé proposés ne sont pas pas de premier choix.

Nous avons apprécié la chambre. Certes elle est petite mais largement suffisante pour une nuit. Très jolie décoration. Salle de bain fonctionnelle. Propre tout etait ok.
La seule chose qui est dommage mais difficile à faire changer, cest le manque d'éducation des gens qui a 5h du matin ne trouve rien de mieux que de crier ou faire rouler leurs valises.

Zeer prettig verblijf in diervriendelijk hotel

Kom er al jaren op doorreis met twee honden. Verblijf daar elke keer zeer prettig ervaren. Ook de keuken is prima. De kamers, handdoeken en beddengoed heel schoon. Met andere woorden ik kom er erg graag een paar keren per jaar. Van her feit dat ik twee honden meeneem wordt geen enkel probleem gemaakt.

Zeer kleine verouderde kamer, bad Inplaats van douche. Er was wel een sproeier aanwezig maar deze hing op hoogte voor een kind. Geen wc borstel. Slechts 1 tanden beker.
Bij aankomst zeer koud in de kamer. Airco gaf ook geen warme lucht.

Problème de chambre au depart, je pensais avoir réservé une chambre avec 2 lits, d'après la photo mais j'ai une chambre avec un grand lit, a la réception ils ont fait le nécessaire pour me donner une cham re avec lits jumeaux.
Problème oas d'ascenseur, pour aller au premier étage, j'ai 77 ans, et les escaliers sont un problème pour moi.
Le soir ou nous avons réservé un repas, jeudi, nous avons eu, moi sur, immangeable, un thon super cuit, sans aucun goût et surtout très dur.
Comment ne pas remarquer que les legumes sortent d'une boîte, petit pois carottes et petites pommes de terre, c'est bien sauf qu'avec des frites ... que vienne faire les pomme de terre, autre sauce aux champigons, ok normalement bon sauf qu'il y avait un drôle de goût, allergie de ma part a cause de la sauce avec soja......
Je ne retournerai plus dans un kyriad alors que depuis plusieurs années j'y allais.
Autre la propreté sur la terrasse, demande un coup de balais et aussi un nettoyage des tables.
Franchement dommage, mais désormais j'irais voir ailleurs.
Ps. Nous avons eu une réduction pour notre fameux repas et le 15 a appelé si j'allais plus mal.

Tout est ok dans ce Kyriad de Beaune excepté la chambre qui est vraiment dune surface minimale.

Séjour convenable

Accès facile depuis l'autoroute A6 ,petit déjeuner copieux et varié; nous étions aussi satisfait du dîner au restaurant
