Very good hotel with friendly and helpful staff, location, cleanliness and comfort. Breakfast was delicious. The location of the hotel is very central. You do not need public transport. I used the VIP transfer service on the way to and from the hotel and I was very pleased. You can request this from the hotel. They also helped for sim card and Bosphorus tour. They do this job with love. I recommend to everyone.

Hotel was clean and comfortable. Location is great and walking distance to everywhere. Breakfast was delicious and enough varities. Staff friendly and helpful. They helped us for everything. Actually Mr. Cihan very nice person. They clean our room everyday and changed towels daily as well. View from terrace was wonderful. l can advise this hotel to everyone.

I stayed at this hotel for an extended holiday, and while the location was decent, the room was smaller than expected and nothing special. My experience was marred by the unwelcoming attitude of the staff. When a guest came to visit me briefly before checkout, they were denied access without any courtesy. This lack of hospitality really affected my overall impression.

Hotel and rooms were well decorated. Location is excellent and quiet. Everywhere walking distance, you dont need use transportation. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. They help use for organise tour and airport transfer.Breakfast was delicious and varities enough. l can advise this hotel to everybody. l feel at my home. The next time l will come here again.

Wasnt what we expected. Photos were miss leading when booking, as showed breakfast was to be served on rooftop. But was actually served in the basement. Which was very disappointing. As thats what we wanted for our long stay. As we spent alot of time in the hotel.

Perapolis hotel is located very near the blue mosque and Arasta bazaar. The area surrounding the hotel is set up for tourists and has many facilities such as convenience shops restaurants and souvenir shops. Prices are slightly high but you can haggle in the bazaar. The hotel itself was very nice and the staff were welcoming. The complimentary breakfast is good but could be varied. The room was clean and comfortable with working AC. The roof terrace has stunning views of the mosque,sea and other landmarks.

Overall a positive experience.

Lovely hotel, walking distance to main attractions. Lots of bars restaurants close by. Shame terrace wasn't in use would have been nice to have somewhere to sit outside and appreciate the view. Enjoyed my stay and would recommend.

Go elsewhere don’t spend your money here

I booked this hotel because of the numerous comments rating this hotel very favorably. This was completely misleading and I am very surprised at the high ranking this hotel has considering what actually happens on the ground. The place is rundown, unkempt and very basic accommodations. Maximum a 2 star hotel. The breakfast is beyond terrible with stale bread and very few options all served in the basement of the hotel with a vacuum cleaner stored underneath the buffet table. The employees have an attitude to them and won’t do absolutely anything outside of what they think are their responsibilities. Nobody on the premises wears a uniform of any sort contributing to the feeling that you are staying at a cheap hostel instead of at a hotel. I could go on and on for hours. This hotel needs to receive more bad reviews and hotels.com needs to make sure the true comments are not deleted in order to stop scamming and confusing customers. I had a problem with the taxi when I left the hotel but I am not writing this comment because of the taxi situation but rather because I need to tell the truth about this place before more people fall victim to this very badly run hotel, like I did.

I absolutely loved this hotel! It was so comfortable, especially the bed. Spacious room with useful facilities, even the shower was amazing! Well designed room allowing ease and comfort in my stay. Rooftop lookout was very special. The hotel was better than I anticipated. Location was an easy base to get around. Oh and breakfast! Lots of variety and many healthy options. Peropolis Hotel is situated close to other resturants and the Metro, which was fairly convenient.

I would like to take the opportunity and say the guys in the front (Aslan, Elnour and Bahrooz) were phenomenal and provided extraordinary customer service. They assisted in setting up tours, providing great insight to the areas that a person should check out and listening to feedback. These guys communicated via email and whatsapp prior to my arrival and provided suggestions on mode of transportstion to the hotel: they are knowledgable and made the trip comforting with their hospitality and enjoyable with their recommendations and sense of humor. I could always count on them 24/7.

Two areas that the hotel could focus on is providing a change of breakfast. Being there for 6 days, it got a bit tiring eating the same thing over and over again. Second, even though they made the bed but the sheets were still same old and could be changed. However, the ladies were always nice, warm and welcoming.

It's worth staying and I would definitely come back due to the people that work there.

A dilapidated hotel with repair/maintenance required. The breakfast menu was dismal, without any warm food options and the same offerings every day. There are building works nearby which can be at anytime of the night so do be aware. Overall, a poor stay and one not to be repeated.

Perapolis Hotel, Istanbul

The Perapolis Hotel is located in a very interesting area with great restaurants and shops near the Hagia Sophia and Topkapi Palace. If you are touring, this place is in a great location.

The hotel gets some western guests, and the front desk speaks English pretty well. They're very obliging - they arranged two tours for me and sent out my laundry to be done. Judging from my fellow guests at breakfast (included), most people who stay here are clerics or Turkish people.

The room I had was on the ground floor behind the reception, so it was a bit noisy during the early evening. Comfortable bed and a nice bathroom.

A few negatives, however. The foot of the bed was almost up against the opposite wall, and the television was hung on the wall, so it was difficult accessing the far side of the bed without whacking yourself on the TV. Since I was visiting on my own, this wasn't an issue, but two people might not like the room. Also, there was a good sized closet and a safe, but no place to put a suitcase. I ended up with mine on the floor by the door.

However, because of the great location and the service, I would certainly stay here again.

The hotel is nice and pretty much clean, reception staff is not the best, they are far from friendly, luckily I am a regular visitor of Istanbul, so I did not need anything from them, the thing that bothered me the most is that the towels were in extremely bad shape, 3 out of 5 days, I had towels that had major holes and 5 out of 5 days they smelled like they had cleaned the floors with them, it was disgusting... the bed sheets also often had major holes in them, too bad that this was the case with the towels, because the hotel is not too bad and would have been great for the money if it wasnt for their disgusting rag like towels.

I payed for a room with cityweiw and got a caveroom the weiw was a wall and ventilation duct, the frigde didnt work they called someone to repair it but noone came for the 7 days I stayed in the hotel. So caveroom and no fridge not great.

Good service, but a few points to note

Overall, the hotel was good. There were pros and cons:

Pros
- Great location: 7-minute walk to Sultanahmet Square, Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia, Basilica Cistern public transport, shops & restaurants.
- Comfort: room was cosy and comfortable with in-room temperature regulating, bed sheets were luxurious and towels were of good quality, unlike in a lot of hotels. Bathroom was very nice and modern with toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, lotion...), and shower had a rainfall shower head, amazing.
- Reception Service: reception staff was extremely helpful. Whenever I needed directions, tips, a cab, local advice, they were ready to help.

Cons
- Wi-Fi: wi-fi was very poor. Kept going on and off, and when on, it was very slow.
- Smell: there was an intense smell of sewer in the room, coming from the toilet. Not sure why, but it would get very bad at times.
- Breakfast: the room used to serve the breakfast in the lower ground was extremely cold, there was no heating whatsoever; a few different options of food, but not many; coffee machine was useless, did not work at all; kitchen staff did not speak English, so when I tried asking for scrambled eggs as I had seen her make for other people on a different day, I was just told she didn't understand English, so left with no eggs.

I would still give it a 4 out of 5, mostly because of the service provided by the reception staff, but those other things really should be addressed for an overall great experience.

Impossible en fauteuil roulant.

La taille de la chambre n'était pas celle indiquée mais beaucoup plus petite je suis en fauteuil roulant et des équipements avait été signalés comme présents alors qu'il s ne l'étaient pas. J'avais écrit un email au gérant qui m'avait assuré que je pourrais rentrer dans la salle de bain avec mon fauteuil. C'était faux. Le personnel a fait tout ce qu'il a pu pour m'aider, jusqu'à nous laisser utiliser une salle de bain d'une autre chambre, un peu plus pratique, mais les conditions n'étaient vraiment pas celles annoncée. Il faut revoir les spécificités des chambres en détail dans l'application.

A localização é incrível, fica na melhor região de Istambul (Sultanahmet) ao lado dos principais pontos turísticos da cidade. Os funcionários são simpáticos, prestativos e ajudam muito. Porém, alguns problemas nas instalações dos quartos devem ser consertados, coisas simples mas que devem ser corrigidas.

El hotel es bonito y agradable, Todo está limpio. La calle es muy tranquila por lo que no hay ruido que interrumpa el sueño.

위치 좋음.

주변이 조용하다. 주변에 음식점이 많고 슈퍼가 있다. 루프탑이 있어 올라가면 경관이 좋다. 유명관광지 근처라 올드씨티는 전부 도보여행이 가능하다. 아침식사는 그저그렇다. 뜨거운 음식은 없다. 3박 4일. 첫날에는 생수 2병이 제공되었다. 그걸로 끝이다. 첫날에는 작은 수건 2장이 제공되었다. 2번째 날 부터 큰수건 2장. 작은수건 2장. 발수건 1장이 제공되었다. 옆방 소음이 잘 들린다. 특하 화장실에서는 옆방 화장실 휴지 뜻는 소리까지 들린다. 주변에 고양이가 많아 좋았다.

ハギア・ソフィアやブルーモスクに隣接し、空港行きバスHavaistの発着点や市内の主要移動であるトラムの駅としても重要な、スルタンアフメト広場にホテルから徒歩5分程でアクセス出来る点が非常に便利でした。すぐ近くにコンビニのような店とケバブ屋さんがいくつかある点も良いと思います。イスタンブール旅行の拠点としては最適な選択の一つだと思います。
スタンダードルームを使用しましたが、ベッドサイズも大きくシャワールームも綺麗でした。スタッフもフレンドリーでビュッフェ形式の朝食も満足でした。
ただ一階レセプション付近のお部屋に泊まる際は若干ロビーの騒音が気になるかもしれません。グレードによる制限もあるとは思いますが、可能なら二階以上のフロアのお部屋をリクエストすると良いかもしれません。
