Great place to relax before a flight home as location is 6 minutes away from airport. Walkable restaurant location with shopping. Reception was very helpful in recovering cell phone left in a taxi. Bar with optional light meal available as well as dinner place. Plenty of ocean view rooms with a large balcony. Plenty of room space for luggage and personal items. I would recommend this hotel for all of the above reasons, and I didn't even mention the golf!

Room was well equipped, well decorated and comfortable. The bed was of a good size, and again, very comfortable. TV was a bit of a mystery to work out with few English channels. A shame the front door to the room was shabby, urgently needed a repaint and didn't create an initial good impression. The reception staff were friendly, although upon leaving didn't understand the £100 UK limit on a contactless card. The hotel bar area could have been warmer. Breakfast was well organised and plentiful.

Room had ants crawling on floor but otherwise lovely room, clean bathroom, nice bed.
Guy at desk on check in not friendly, very angry face, made us uncomfortable, he rook too long looking at our passports, we felt unwelcome, he did not greet us with a smile he should not be working in such a lovely place, he gives the place a bad reputation

Very spacious property located on golf course with access to beach, also has an outdoor pool on site.
Lovely big room with outdoor patio and a very good bathroom. Only ate from the bar but perfectly acceptable. 15 minute drive from airport, why we chose it, and five minutes from a shopping mall with dining options and regular trains into Malaga. Major downside, of which we were aware, was aircraft noise as planes took off from the airport although to be fair thsi didn't affect our sleep.

we had a beautiful time there with my family. The only annoying thing is the pool restrictions. they close early and open late (10,00am) here in USA Hotels never close the pool! If you need to add a sign \"swim at your own risk\" and thats it! Nobody needs a life guard!

Very pleasant but short stay

A very pleasant one night stopover. I’m sorry we couldn’t have stayed longer to enjoy the pool and golf course. Wonderful dinner and breakfast on a fab terrace. Shame about the smokers. Planes taking off from Malaga airport might bother some people, didn’t worry me. We will definitely come again, hopefully for longer next time.

Defintely handy for staying the night before flight from airport however I’d say more 3 star quality than 4. Pool and outdoor area is great but the rooms are not what you’d expect for a 4 star hotel. Dining also limited however the outlet mall just a short walk away has multiple options.

One of the nicest hotel stays I can remember! I am just here relaxing here for one day to catch some sunshine and time at the beach before traveling on to Granada to visit some old friends. The stay at Parador golf hotel is like a resort experience. Everything from the hotel room, the patio, the views, the pool, the morning buffet, the outside dining area, the friendliness and professionalism of the staff are excellent and above and beyond! And I travel a lot for work in the US, occasionally in Europe and Africa. I especially like the relaxed, laid back and quiet atmosphere of the hotel - you can really unwind and take a step away from the constant business of the city and work and life’s hectic schedule in general. I hope to be back at Parador soon to feel like celebrity with peace of mind :) Muchissimas Gracias, Parador!

On arrival at reception we were given a voucher for free drinks and informed by receptionist that breakfast was included in our reservation. I asked if this was correct as I did not think our reservation included breakfast, informed that breakfast was included. Therefore we had breakfast and on checking out we were charged for breakfast explained to reception that we were informed last night that breakfast was included - reception said booking did not include breakfast, we paid for breakfast but not happy about this as wrong information was given to us the night before. We had not planned on having breakfast due to early airport departure but as we were informed it was included we got up earlier to have it. Not sure if this is a scam to make people have breakfast then charge them for it. Not happy with this situatio.

The Hotel room we occupied for 11 nights was very tired. For example both bathroom sinks were cracked as was the toilet base. There was cracking to the ceiling near the shower where the room above had obviously had a leak, and the furniture had stains, knocks, and scuffs. On the positive side the beds were very comfortable and the air-conditioning was very effective. A good large flat screen TV was provided, and there was a free safe. There is daily room cleaning with good quality towels and a change of bed linen every other day. Having said that the handle to the door to the terrace and the surrounding frame was discoloured, dirty and very sticky, both inside and out. It did not appear to have ever been cleaned properly. You have to take all of the above in context. The grounds are superb and a balcony or terrace are provided for each room which overlook the grounds and the sea. There is a private beach and a pool plus plenty of free sun loungers. It is easy to while away lazy days in these surroundings. The golf course and facilities appear to be superb. There is a bus that stops just outside the Hotel gate to Malaga centre for 1.40 Euros single and a large shopping outlet and the tram are a 10 / 15 minute walk. The hotel is sited right under the flight path to Malaga airport but we were never disturbed by aircraft noise when sleeping. To sum up the rooms are about 2 Stars and the grounds 4 Stars . Is it value for money? Just about.

Great location with easy access to airport, Plaza Major and beach. The hotel is under the flight path which is not a problem in Summer as rooms are air conditioned and double glazed but in winter with no A/C and mosquito & plane noise if the windows are open it doesn’t make for a good nights sleep. Also smoke detectors are directly over beds and flash all night. We also had an issue with TV but I think other rooms are fine.

The staff were very helpful and the golf is discounted over the web rate for guests. It was seamless as the club rentals were quick and we found that the rooms and restaurant were first class. Guests should be aware that the hotel is on the flight path from Malaga airport and so planes can be heard taking off from 715 am to 9 or 10 pm. The balconies are great for reading or drinks, the sunrises spectacular, and the bathrooms elegant. The wine list and food choices in the restaurant make this a great stay. There is nothing in the area for non-golfing tourists and it is about a EUR15 taxi to the Malaga centre.

This is one of my favorite places to stay in Málaga. Staff is very friendly and the view of the Mediterranean is beautiful. The hotel is doing an excellent job dealing with the COVID situation. Not everything is perfect, but that will not keep me from going back.

The hotel needs some updates. The first room we got smelled really back . We told the receptionist and she said they were full and they were going to try to fix it. We left the hotel to return the rental car and when we went back the smells was still horrible. It was another person at the reception and he gave us another room. It was great room with jacuzzi.

Returned after many years to a nostalgic visit. Parador has expanded and we were located in a new wing. Spacious and very tasteful/luxurious room. Beautiful setting. Able to wander around the pool, golf course and sea front. Very lovely stay. Delightful breakfast. Communal areas are well appointed and welcoming. Very Spanish chic. Recommend this hotel.

Nice golf resort & hotel close to Malaga airport

A refreshing place very close to the airport (and you will notice that!!).
The hotel is on a golf resort, so it is surrounded by a golf course.
It does look more like a resort, though with pool, close to the beach and other activities. The restaurant is good and there are several choices for everyone.
There are additional restaurants in the area, either a 15-minute walk by the beach towards Torremolinos or to the Shopping Mall Plaza Mayor about 10 minutes. If you don't need a car, there is a train from the Shopping Mall straight to the airport.
The golf courses are decent (one 18-hole and one 9-hole) and also during low season a good bargain.

Excellent choice for exploring Costa del Sol

We are not golfers, but had a great time at the Parador. We arrived for one night right after long international flight and it took us only 10 minutes to get to the Parador. Free parking was a big plus for us as well as short distance from the airport. You can see and hear planes during the day, but it is incredibly quiet at night. Our room was a bit outdated, but spacious, clean and with a nice balcony and the view of the sea. Right from the hotel lawn you can stroll on the long boardwalk running along the the sea shore which will take you as far as Torremolinos. It was refreshing to take this walk after so much time spent on the plane. Breakfast in the morning was outstanding: omelettes made to order, delicious fruits, juices, wide variety of local cheeses, ham and salami, pastries. There are also gluten-free and kids options available. Nespresso machine was a plus for me.

We enjoyed our stay and decided that the Parador would be an ideal base to explore Costa del Sol towns. So we returned for two more nights after spending two nights in Malaga and were pleasantly surprised to get a much better room which was modern, large, with a bigger balcony and very spacious bathroom with separate shower in addition to the bathtub - very comfortable, like at home... The breakfasts were awesome and we also went for a light dinner which was not as good as breakfast. It takes 10 minutes to walk to the mall from the hotel where you can find better restaurants.

We were only there for one night. Had booked a room for 3 adults so made sure for at least two beds. When we arrived here was one bed ( ok two singles put together). We had to ask for our additional bed, which ended up being a controlled in.
The pool is gated with chairs outside the gate and I heated (the pool that is).
The food option should are pretty limited, he hotel boosts gluten free options but the menu available for lunch had none (French fries don't count).
Walkable to a shopping mall with mall food. Short train ride to downtown

Wanted to be close to the Airport for morning flight - perfect location for that purpose - easy to park car & access rooms - room was fine with access direct to gardens & pool - the beach is very sad, grubby and unloved - didn't play golf but course looked in reasonable nick - service was fine without be very good! - I would rate it 3 of the 4 Paradors we used - Wouldn't stay 3 days but most convient for Airport - a little aircraft noise but not ridiculous

A Lovely Experience

Arriving early we hoped to be able to just store our luggage until,the room was ready but instead we're able to check in right away. The room was spacious, very well appointed, and had a lovely sitting area outside facing the pool. The golf course that is part of the hotel complex runs along the beach but there is a path that allows guests to cross two of the holes to get onto the beach. From there you can walk in either direction on a boardwalk or else on the sandy beach. The hotel has several very comfortable common areas with both a casual bar/cafe and the more formal dining room. The menu has several distinctly Andalusian dishes and serve is courteous and professional. With its location very close to the airport it is an ideal place to,stay to catch an early flight the next day.

Just a stopover from the airport heading to Marbella. Arrived at 1am. Staff were so friendly and did very well at using English. Had the breakfast buffet which was amazing. A huge assortment of hot and cold plus they would make any omelette you preferred.

The resort was very nice & comfortable and close to the Malaga airport. The only negative is that airplanes, from the nearby airport, fly directly over the resort, every 10 to 15 minutes. If you are not a heavy sleeper, it will be difficult to get a good night sleep.

We chose this hotel to end a long journey thru Europe flying out of Malaga early staying just one night. It was perfect, staff very welcoming and service minded. Right next to resort is a long beachfront Torremolinos to explore and relax with great seafood (playa los almos vvv good). Beds firm and comfy, large bathrooms, in room safe, balcony to enjoy at night lovely quiet atmosphere. Note, tennis, golf and pool to enjoy. The planes were of no bother to us and didn't hear at night. Recommend if early flight and go next door to beachfront area.

Excellent stay. Comfortable rooms, helpful staff and a very good dinner our night there. Very helpful finding us a cab to airport in the morning.

Not a luxury hotel, but good.

Good golf course. Very ordinary rooms and weak wifi. Overall not disappointed. Didn't answer calls to reception on two different days. Food is quite good although room service menu selection is probably the worst I have seen compared to what's on the bar menu. Could do a lot better and I would rate it like a good 3 star hotel. Absolutely fantastic golf course and breakfast was good.

Beautiful resort hotel with excellent breakfast

Everything was fantastic. The breakfast was beyond belief and the golf course & beach are gorgeous. The only two negatives...1 - it is so close to the airport that the planes are loud when you sit outside a (can't hear them inside) and.2- the taxi cost the min of 20 euros from the airport to the hotel even tho the hotel is very near airport. Everything else was great.

A lovely oasis

This hotel was exactly what we needed for relaxing during our last few days in Spain. It was quiet, spotlessly clean and comfortable. Nicely decorated. The marble bathroom was spacious and shiny. Fluffy towels.

Nice and easy hotel close to the airport

The Hotel is nice but you must remember if you take a room on the ground floor you con be waken up with the footsteps of the resident in the room above you. Unfortunately we had that bad experience twice in just 5 nights from!! One girl of the reception was unprofessional and the last day when we asked for the early morning waking up she just didn't do it and when we pointed out she didn't really apologize but she tried to found out some excuses as it was our fault!
