The hotel was everything we needed. The room was clean, the staff were friendly and the facilities were great.

Our first floor \"Statford view\" room predominantly overlooked the car park, so a river view room might have been nicer. And we probably should have waited to use the pool after 6pm as it was full of children most of the day. Other than that, it was a great stay and I would recommend the hotel.

The area was ideal, the room was clean, the bar staff were friendly, the check in process was nice.
My only complaint was how short the front desk person was when I called at 3 am to ask them to address other guests who had woken me multiple times with their arguing and banging things around. Their tone was one of being bothered.

Wardrobe for hanging clothes but little shelving space.
Cooked breakfast on the dry side and not very warm. Front of house at breakfast time excellent as was homemade granola.
Drinks and car parking overpriced.

There were four different flashing/bright lights in the room that could not be covered up- which were very irritating when trying to sleep. The room was incredibly hot and uncomfortable because of the temperature. This meant I had a terrible night’s sleep, and sleep

Itself was lovely and very nicely decorated, also well appointed with a kettle and ironing facilities. The leisure
Club was small but very useful- we enjoyed the swimming pool. The lady who checked us in was very friendly and helpful, I wish I had caught her name, she was a real credit to the hotel!
Breakfast was ok, very very busy on a Sunday morning and we had to wait ten minutes for a table. The food was ok- would have preferred hash browns to fried potato slices but a lovey selection of bread, pastries and cereals. Would have been nice to have had an omelette option.

When we checked in to the hotel early, our rooms were ready which was a bonus and the lady who checked us in was very helpful! The location of the hotel is excellent, walking distance of town and some very lovely restaurants and the RSC theatre, which was the main reason for our visit! We saw the BGF which incredible.

The room was very good, tidy and comfortable. It was nice to have a fridge in there too. Unfortunately, for a property of this size, the pool was unbelievably small and was sadly far too inadequate to be enjoyable.

Cold shower in the night and still in the morning.

Room was noisy as family next door all you could hear is them chatting all night ( they were not the issue as they wernt loud, just everything comes through the vent into the room i was in)
Window didnt shut tight so with the wind there was ratteling and whistleing.

Asked to change room but got put to a connecting room which was also noisy.

Not often i cant wait to leave a hotel.

Staff all seemed very friendly except in the restaurant at breakfast. I booked a premier room which included club lounge access but our door key did not let us in so we had to return it to reception for the update. Our room did not have bath robes or slippers and our tv did not work! Because of this we had to change rooms which is not ideal.The food in the club lounge was very poor, not a lot of choice unless you likes spicy food, so all you could have was bread and cheese. One this was gone, the food was not replenished so if you arrived late you got nothing. Also we were told the times for the club lounge had changed which we found to be very early and a number of children were in there. When we went to buy a drink later in the evening.in the hotel bar we were charged over £12 for a cheap rose wine! This is over £4 dearer than the last time we stayed in May. How can you justify this? We therefore decided not to drink in the hotel bar for the rest of our stay, and may possibly not stay at the hotel again unless small niggles are sorted out.

We had a lovely stay at the Crowne! Beds were so comfy and rooms were spacious. Breakfast was fantastic way to start the day and the pool was great to unwind at the end of your day - even better thay children could not access it after 6 pm! Close to shops and touristy bits and a great starting point to go a take excursions out of the city.

The executive lounge had a limited selection of snacks. The hot stacks were cold and one of the 3 choices was burnt and bitter tasting.no-one asked how our stay was and some staff didn't seem knowledgeable. Hotel was clean and quiet. Value for money and we would stay again if visiting Stratford

Lovely hotel, good price, right in the centre and parking (extra cost when checking in). Great breakfast selection and bar which isn’t over priced. The only downside is the water pressure, could have been just a one off thing but the shower was barely a trickle and the tap too, the toilet also didn’t flush well.

Lovely hotel. But! we had a few issues with our room. Firstly the TV wasn’t working , had to send a maintenance man to fix it. But it was sorted quickly. The air conditioning/ heating unit was so noisy , think it must need a service it kept us awake during the night. The shower control was very stiff to turn so difficult to adjust temperature, I had a Luke warm shower as the control just wouldn’t turn fully.
Shame because it’s a lovely hotel in a perfect spot

The room was very clean and spacious. The staff on reception were welcoming and helpful. The only prolem we had that I wasn't happy about was the housekeeping staff they knocked our door at 9.45am this morning and walked into our room before we had chance to answer. Then again 20 minutes later at 10.05am they knocked the door again I answered and told them we hadn't finished with the room. I had on my booking that check out was 11am, so I didn't appreciate housekeeping staff entering and trying for a second time to enter my room whilst we still occupied it

The room was clean but the duvet doesn’t fit the bed properly. The music was so loud woke us up. We lasted another hour before we ask for help. Moved to a room above which wasn’t much better. Never stayed in such a noisy hotel ever. Breakfast was disappointing. Best thing was the location.

The car park system there is a mess. You add your registration to an ipad but this is a separate system to the hotel. The hotel charged me for my parking when I checked in, but, as far as I can tell, there was no link between my room and my car registration. So how do I know that I won't get a letter through the post from some company saying I owe them money for parking there for 2 nights? The people on reception weren't too reassuring when I expressed my concerns and one even admitted it is an over-complicated system.

I also messaged the hotel through Hotels.com to let them know it was my wife's birthday during the stay and if they could do anything to make it special it would be really appreciated. No response at all. I don't take things for granted, but I guess a reply would've been nice!

The staff were very courteous and friendly, especially an older man in the breakfast room. Sorry I have forgotten his name. The room was very ean and comfortable. We liked the location as we're older and didn't have to walk a long way into town. One question... paid £12 for parking, but the hotel takes no responsibility for the parked cars. Have you got Cctv ? Or a night watchman patrolling?

The room was comfortable enough but very dark. There is no central lighting, just lamps everywhere,which made it very difficult to see when putting make up on. There was no draws to put cloths in, hence most of our clothing was left in our bags. Very frustrating.

The room was clean and well presented, the bed comfortable and spacious, resulting in a good nights sleep. The hotel is in easy walking distance of Stratford's shops and theatres, and has all you need for a pleasant stay.
Staff were friendly and a special mention to Ben who worked diligently at breakfast time.
