The check-in said I'd need to pay for breakfast but I later discovered it was included. The check-in lady explained the hotel was almost empty, but decided to put us in a room next to another guest, and with a door to access their room(!!!) which meant it was noisy. Unimpressed. At least the room was warm and clean.

The overall stay was good, the staff was very courteous, and the rooms were clean. However, the breakfast did not vary during the 6 days we were there with the exception of two dishes that changed daily but were not properly kept warm. I would not recommend the breakfast there.

Very frustrating. I chose the wrong date and contacted the hotel within minutes of booking to change the date and they refused. Hotels.com said they tried as well but were refused. No change, no credit, no exceptions. I will go out of my way to tell this story and encourage everyone I know to avoid this hotel.

The staff was excellent in their treatment, but the breakfast was a total disappointment, and not worth the extra $15 I paid: only green tea (no other kinds), the cheese was rather dry, no good vegetarian options for protein, etc., etc.

This is my second time staying at this hotel, and unfortunately, it was the same experience as before. The room itself was fine, but the bed was not clean at all — just like last time. I had to ask for the bed linens to be changed again. The bathroom only has the bare minimum, and the towels are old and gray. The hotel really needs to improve on cleanliness and basic amenities.

Nice hotel for the price. There was a $600 pesos charge for having our pet with us. Usually hotels ask for a pet deposit not a charge. Other than that every else was good. Breakfast was good.

Horrible right from the start. The charged me for an early checking even though I’m gold status and it states VIP Expedia hotel. The breakfast buffet was horrible. The room was outdated and not well cleaned. The hallways were dirty and not vacuumed. The hotel was not warm - very cold atmosphere.

I stayed for a few days with my daughter. The hotel is in Santa Fe with plenty of restaurants options and shopping center in walking distance.
The room we got was clean, with confortable beds and a good shower.
For the price we paid we were happy what we got for.

Hotel is in nice neighborhood, outside of the hotel there is a really good restaurant that makes up for the bad restaurant and service from the hotel. Lobby is ok but the room is in poor condition, wooden floor is broken on several spots and the cleaning of toilet area and shower could be better. There is a motor lobby but it was painful to get somebody to help us bring our stuff in, we struggled with the luggage since we brought a baby with us.

NH Hotel is in the heart of Sante Fe, Mexico City. It is a beautiful hotel and our room was very nice. The restaurant at the hotel was very limited and the service was very slow even when there was no one around. The Wi-Fi was very spotty and room service for breakfast was not the best.
All in all a nice place to stay.

this is a 2 *not 4* Horrible experience, no service, bellhop, no tissues, coffee, wash towel, clock concierge amenities broken, stall very dark & slippery & dangerous, hooks 7ft tall Toilet paper is sandpaper .Cheap furnishings front desk not helpful, very curt hallways& gym very dark and old w chipped sinks. Was embarrassed w my friends as this was very bad choice

The walls of the room are so thin that you can hear everything from the other room.Zero privacy. No enough soap and shampoo. One soap for everything. I had to buy a bath soap.

Awful service, I was impressed

I had to make several claims. They left my door opened after cleaning, the light bulb was detached from the lamp, the floors were broken, they cleaned my room after 2pm and most of all, even though the fixed everything, the treatment made me feel like if the manager didn’t care at all about us or our stay. Awful service.

Issues at Check-in

I arrived around 11am and they told me that check in started at 3pm and if I wanted an early check in I’d have to pay extra. Of course, I got upset because the hotels.com site says 24 hour check in for this hotel! They claimed this is a hotels.com mistake. After I told them I was NOT going to pay extra and that I would give them a bad review they gave my room. Besides that, hotel is very nice, great location and the breakfast is delicious.

The room needs a little maintenance, the floor was broken and I had a leak in the sink. Overall it is a great hotel to stay at Santa Fe, comfortable and walking distance to many places. Great place to stay if you are going to Mexico City for business.

Check-in service: poor. Receptionist didn’t ask for a credit card, which caused a hassle when we wanted room service later. The minibar in our room was locked because apparently the door mechanism was broken. We had to prop it open with a towel, which of course left the light on all day and was a terrible waste of electricity. The coffee capsule machine didn’t work either: we had to use all three capsules to get one small cup! We also asked for a late check-out, but when my wife returned to the room she found her belongings (worth thousands of pesos) outside on the service trolley! Simply unbelievable.

The breakfast buffet was nice, the staff were mostly friendly and the bed was comfortable, but the overall experience was dreadful. I expect better from business hotels in Santa Fe. Would not stay there again.

Scam played on me

At check in I was told I had included breakfast. Then in the middle of eating I was told it was not included. After talking to many managers I was told the check in worker denied saying that it was included. A lie! Quite a scam they have running here. Not much you can do in the middle of eating. Not impressed!
