The whole place is exceptional! We have stayed before and as a family it’s one of our happy places. Nothing is too much trouble, the staff are so welcoming and attentive, facilities are spotless and it’s a beautiful setting and interior design. The food wasn’t as good as our previous stays the restaurant was a little slow and our food was on the cold side but the charming staff made up for it. We preferred breakfast when it was in the main property the kids were disappointed the pancakes had changed but the chocolates and cookies and milk at bedtime and gifts in the room made up for this. We would throughly recommend for a five star experience we just hope on our next visit the food is a little better. It was Christmas and very busy so that might explain it in part. Thank you to all the staff who literally enhance the experience in every way.

First and foremost the staff are absolutely superb. Everyone we met went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. The hospitality we experienced here we will not forget. The hotel itself is beautiful and our room was fantastic. Breakfast, afternoon tea and dinner at the barn were all fantastic. Restaurant Woven is an exceptional dining experience and one we can’t wait to enjoy again. Superb.

Our stay at Coworth park was rather underwhelming and disappointing. As one reviewer mentioned, we were given a room at the Stables and whenever someone in another room closed the door, our whole room rattled. It made it impossible to get total peace and quiet. Cleanliness of our room was spot on though, and there's nothing to complain about that. However, general customer service at Coworth park was lacklustre. Indeed, as compared to other 5 star UK hotels, we found it to be one of the most underwhelming.

We were really looking forward to staying at Coworth Park after having a couple of lovely stays at The Dorchester. Unfortunately it just did not live up to our expectations.
Upon arrival we weren’t greeted by any staff or doormen. Check-in was not very personable or overly friendly. It just felt a bit flat and awkward.
Our son did an hours hack at the equestrian centre and that was lovely and the lady who took him out was very friendly and encouraging of our son.
We then went for lunch at the dining room, service was slow and intermittent.
We ordered our food and when it arrived my burger had a relish in that was not mentioned on the menu which was not to my taste, they also asked how we would like the burger cooked and yet it was overdone (can’t see the point of asking, if you are not going to cook it as requested.) burger was also very dry and flavourless. Chips were lovely however.
We also requested an extra tea cup from the host, and he never actually brought it over.
Overall a very disappointing dining experience.
We then had access to our room. This is where the big problems started. The rooms in the stable area are very noisy. They are positioned like chalets and are quite enclosed in that area. When someone shuts their door in your block, your whole door rattles really noisily. This made having a peaceful sleep or relaxing in the room impossible.
The cleanliness of the room was also a massive problem. The room was VERY unclean.

Glorious stay at Coworth and dinner at Woven. The staff at Coworth were very welcoming and went to great effort to cater for my dietary requirements (vegan and gluten free) both during the dinner at Woven and throughout my stay. Would highly recommend this hotel and restaurant to anyone looking for a treat and exemplary service.

This is such a special place to stay . I come every year during December , because it’s so beautiful and festive . The staff are friendly and a warm welcome is always there for us . There is no outdoor pool or sauna, only an indoor pool, however it is huge, and there is a steam room. Service charge added to all food and drink items.

Booked as overnight stay, thoroughly impressed with the property in beautiful grounds. The highlight was the swimming with my son, where we had the pool to ourselves, The staff were welcoming and attentive. Definitely want to return just to try the cycling and playrooms. A fantastic nights stay.

This is one place you will never want to leave.

From the moment we arrived until the moment we left the staff made us feel special .The Superior room at the Mansion House was spacious and the view from the window was a picture postcard
Bathroom had a beautiful bath embraced in brass A good size walk in shower with large rain head shower. Water pressure was excellent. Lovely fluffy bathrobes and slippers in the bathroom.
Spacious wardrobes with hairdryer, mini bar , fridge, safe and tea and coffee facilities . The room was bright and welcoming. Tasteful decor throughout. Room service was extremely efficient and anything ordered be it a three course meal or a club sandwich was cooked fresh and delivered to your room within 20 minutes.
Breakfast in the restaurant had a varied menu .Dinner in the Barn and food was amazing and again the service first class. The onion soup was to die for. Dinner in the Mansion House had a larger menu and again the service and food excellent. The spa was so incredibly relaxing. We took advantage of several of the treatments including full body massages , facials manicures and pedicures. All excellent. The pool was magnificent with 15 large amethyst geodes on plinths adding to the calming ambience of the area.Without a doubt the best Spa resort I have ever encountered and the service at the Mansion House exceeded all expectations. My only regret is that we didn’t stay longer. This hotel envelopes you in warmth & comfort in a very professional manner

Spoil yourself at this wonderful country hotel

A return visit so knew what to expect. This time managed to book a table in the main restaurant - had the 6 course tasting menu and cooking was above expectations although service a bit frenetic. The hotel is beautifully situated with lovely grounds and also a short walk from Windsor Great Park where you can work up an appetite! The public area's are all very comfortable and the staff very attentive. Overall a very relaxing place for a short break.

What an amazing place ! I went with my mother for a night after having undergone a surgery two weeks ago so really just wanted to rest and recover. Our room was amazing overlooking the backyard grounds, and the staff was the most friendly! As I was getting ready to head back to London I was not feeling very well given my surgery and all the staff were so helpful and friendly. The grounds are beautiful. I am excited to return!

Amazing place. Such awesome staff, ambience and service. Such a comfortable room, one of the best beds I’ve ever slept in. The 4 poster bed is great, very much feeling like Scrooge! Haha!
If I were to pick anything that could be improved upon is the flooring is getting very worn with marks and scratches from the many suitcases etc, it didn’t detract from the awesomeness and is the only thing I could possibly nit-pick about!
Loved it, the spa services were amazing (no jacuzzi that I could find but the rest was second to none I cuss g the treatments).
Will definitely be going back for that special service and attention. Made to feel like a king and queen!

My mother and I had a fabulous few days at the Dorchester hotel. The hotel is a gem, excellent location and only a 50 mins train journey from London. Staff were welcoming, attentive and delivered 5 star service from the moment we arrived until the end.
The breakfast was exceptional! Thank you to our excellent waiter - nothing was too much trouble!
The spa is blissful and my facial by Chloe was my best facial ever!
During the winter months, it's definitely worth the upgrade to a Mansion House room where you are made to feel luxuriously comfortable. Thank you Colworth staff for a wonderful few days!

We have seldom experienced such consistently high quality service. We really felt welcome and very well taken care off without ever feeling that it was 'scripted' or insincere. The restaurant with its one star was of course another highlight, but the area around the hotel is beautiful and great for walks. The only small issue was that we got what we believe was the room for wheelchair users and the bathroom was thus almost as big as the room, which meant that the room missed out on a small sofa or a comfortable chair. We will ask in advance for another room next time.

Luxury hotel with amazing grounds and views. Couldn't fault the staff, who were all helpful and attentive. It is very expensive (we went for my husbands 60th birthday), but they did surprise us with a bottle of champagne and birthday cake in our room!
