Fantastic 6 days at the Movenpick. Very clean and comfortable rooms. Lovely staff. Great food. Location was perfect for many different day trips. 15 min walk to Centraal Station. Lovely to watch the Riverboats come and go.

This is a beautiful family run hotel and restaurant that has been in the same family for 7 generations. The hotel facilities and rooms are clean and modern and the restaurant serves high quality food at reasonable prices. The service was excellent at check in, the restaurant and everywhere else that we interacted with the staff. We stayed here for the F1 and were able to enjoy the town and beautiful villages surrounding it. We will definitely go back here on our next visit to Europe.

The hotel completely exceeded our expectations! We booked at the last minute as our travels plans were changed, and just needed a hotel that suited a young family. We were due to arrive very late and after the check-in desk closed, but when we spoke with the hotel they said 'no problem'. The cleanliness and spaciousness of our room was perfect - far exceeded my expectation. Quiet, comfortable, cosy duvet and really good location for continuing our journey in the morning. Additional bonus was the buffet breakfast in the morning that we didn't realise was included! Freshly cooked eggs, warm croissants, home made jam and bread, fruit, cheese, meats etc. Wonderful. Would highly recommend this hotel and a real gem of a find!

A truly lovely property. We previously visited in 2020 and they have done a lot of work to the site since then, adding a new wing of rooms where we stayed. The fittings were of a very high standard. We missed a kettle in the room but it did not take anything from the experience. A fan would have been helpful - it was very hot when we stayed and the road noise meant we could not sleep with our windows open.

Excellent hotel with welcoming hosts. High standards of cleanliness and good decorations throughout. The pool was welcome - big enough to enjoy or exercise. We ate dinner in the restaurant which was superb. We were tempted by the schnitzel but sadly it turned out to be pork, which we don’t eat for cultural reasons. So the chef made chicken schnitzels for us all quite happily and off menu. They were delicious! Definitely worth a stay.

Good location, clean and accommodating staff
A great little family-run hotel. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was basic but sufficient and tasty. The only criticism is that the beds are not on the comfortable side, i.e. you can feel the spring coils when lying down and the pillows are uncomfortable too (huge but flat and don't hold a shape). We very were tired so that's probably why a comfier bed would be more appreciated. The owner, however, was very accommodating about our late arrival (after midnight) and arranged for our room to wait for us, no problem at all.

It was a good option for an overnight stay. Very close to motorway. Rooms a really good size and comfy - although furniture a little dated. We didn't have enough time to use the pool which is a shame but it looked great. Breakfast and restaurant were good - unfortunately the restaurant was closed when we arrived so we couldn't have an evening meal, but there was an Italian restaurant 50m up the road.

The service was very personalized--they let us check in early, check out early, and opened breakfast early for us. Great service! The hotel room was very nice, modern, and clean. We were staying for the weekend in order to attend the Spa-Francorchamps Formula1 race and this hotel was a quick commute to the race track each day. We got away from the crowds and stopped in a different town each night for dinner on the way home from the track--a great way to see some more of Belgium.

Excellent Family Run Hotel with Good Restaurant
We stayed for three nights on the weekend of Belgian Grand Prix. The hotel is a little over 30 minutes from Spa Francorchamps. The hotel looks rather industrial from the outside due to extensive use of metal sheeting on the new extension to the front which houses the excellent restaurant. Don't let the rather austere look put you off as you will receive a warm welcome from the delightful Tychon family that have owned the hotel for over 150 years. Many of the rooms are situated in two Motel style blocks to the rear. The rooms are comfortably furnished and the bathrooms have powerful hot showers. There are other bars and restaurants in the village but our best two meals were at the hotel. There is also an excellent Belgian Chocolate counter at the baker. I will definitely stay here again if in the area.

De kamer was zeer ruim en heel proper. Ook een heel grote badkamer die aan alle verwachtingen voldeed. we hadden eerder een klein appartementje met 2 grote kamers. Ook de wc was apart van de badkamer, wat zeker aangenaam was. Zeer behulpzaam personeel.

Die kleinen Apartments sind in Ordnung und recht sauber. Das Schwimmbad ist sehr klein und könnte mehr Liegestühle brauchen. Der Ruhebereich zur kleinen Sauna ist dagegen sehr groß, war aber leider nicht beheizt.

Boede på hotellet i forbindelse med et WEC løb på Spa-Francorchamps. God forbindelse til motorvej og ca. 40 min fra banen.
Hvis man ikke er til motorløb er der også fine nationalparken i nærheden. Besøgte Eifel National Park og var rundt om T2 som har flot udsigt over en stor sø og der er sågar et vandfald på turen. Kan anbefales.
Hotellet ligger ved siden af to supermarkeder og en rigtig god bager og ikke langt fra Eupen med mange flere mad og indkøbsmuligheder.
Havde et fint værelse med separat bad og toilet, det hele så meget nyt ud og velistandsat.

Hotel sehr zu empfehlen sauber ruhig, netter kleiner Spa-Bereich angenehme Atmosphäre beim Check inn Frühstück und Check out. Ca. 20 min nach Aachen und halbe Stunde nach Lüttich.

Certains membres du personnel difficultés en français pourtant en Wallonie, mais cette ville et région frontalière est de préfère germanophone. Belle nuit au calme pour une étape après une journée dans les Hautes Fagnes. La piscine n'est pas bien chauffée, se baigner n'est pas pour les frileux. bon séjour dans l'ensemble.

Kamer was oke, tv werkte niet , op geen enkele kamer, gastheer was hier al een tijdje van op de hoogte, of het nu EK is of niet de tv moet wel werken. Hij heeft zijn klanten hier niet over ingelicht, kan niet !

We hadden een heerlijk verblijf in het hotel. De kamers waren ruim en netjes, het ontbijt was verzorgd en het diner heel lekker. Het is een pluspunt dat je een uurtje per bubbel het zwembad kan reserveren. Een aanrader!

séjour trop court de 3 jours avec une appréhention à la vue de la grand route qui longe l'hôtel. Mais les chambres d'une propreté exemplaires ont été plus que soignées en ce qui concerne l'insonorisation. Aucun bruit récurents la nuit. Le service restaurant impécable s'occupe d'une cuisine simple mais naturelle avec des prix plus que correctes : on ne tort pas le cou au premier touriste passant sous prétexte du Corona virus. Dernier point, les mesures de distanciation sont d'application avec une remise à l'ordre faite avec beaucoup de tact. Un séjour à envisager dans un cadre plus que correcte .
