No porter, for a 4 star hotel that should be there. The parki g is not easily accessible. Needed toilet paper and the front desk ask me to go get it from the front desk.

Nice clean room, fairly spacious. Great view of planes landing. Friendly reception. It was good to have on-site parking but beware that the parking garage is very tight and is extra to the room booking. Air con was okay but not really cool - okay for October but might be a problem in the summer. Didn't get around to trying out the pool or restaurant but the bar was lovely. 5 min walk to metro and post office. Lots of nearby restaurants. We'd definitely stay here again.

The staff at reception are very overworked and could definitely use a bell hop or concierge to assist with luggage and tourist questions. The policy of not allowing early check in results in a backlog that is frustrating all round. It seems counterproductive to have the foyer full of people, many of whom have been travelling all night, needing to check in all at the same time. My heart goes out to the staff trying to cope day in and out with this situation.

Several restaurants nearby (next street, when you walk across the bridge)
Had to change from our first room because of the smell in the while space when arriving back from evening meal.
Reception handled this very smoothly - I just had to go down to swap keys.
Love the comfortable chair. Would be better to have two!
Swimming pool pleasant and with the roof cover open was easy to access fresh air.
Disappointing “restaurant” - the area we thought was a restaurant is only used for breakfasts. Any other food is served in a space off the foyer with only a few tables, the others either high or low coffee style tables.
No call button at the bar to alert staff you are waiting.
This is a good hotel for short stay with quick journey to the airport.

Love the fact that this property is close to transportation bus and train and metro . Not a lot of food options around but the ones around it was pretty good, close to the shopping mall as well
The staff is friendly and helpful and the size of the room was pretty substantial. The pool area is nice with the view of the area . The breakfast was good and fresh variety of choices would definitely come back

My only problem was the AC — the temperature was a bit warm, which made me feel uncomfortable due to the hot weather.

Apart from that, I really enjoyed my stay. Lovely ambiance, blackout curtains, and no noise in the hallway.

The pool was the highlight, but the area around it was a bit messy — a quick tidy-up would make it perfect.

The rooftop pool was great, warm even though end of april,found it was heated, had to myself each time I used it.. About 5 hotels on that block, but block over was metro, underground grocery store and more restaurants.

Good for a few quick nights

Staff were absolutely incredible and very helpful. I stayed here twice (once through a tour booking and once through a personal booking). Was on the 8th floor - slept well (for the most part - minus Friday night dance music down the street), on the second floor my next stay - very hard to sleep! Noises everywhere - including loud heater - had to turn it off to sleep, then other rumblings in the wall and noise in the hallways. Other than that great stay!
Restaurant meals were wonderful for dinner too!

Definitely not a 4* compared to the others in this category that I stay in. Seems to be a little understaffed on the catering side of things with the staff seemingly having to cover different roles at the same time. Having said that, the staff themselves were pleasant to deal with. I can only speak for my room which was a little tired and in need of modernization. No plug points next to the bed was strange. Bar snacks not available all day was also strange.. There are limited bars around the immediate area. Nearest supermarket about 10 minutes walk

My boyfriend and I travelled from Ireland to Lisbon for a lovely city break. We stayed in Mercure Hotel Lisboa and thoroughly enjoyed our time. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel itself was modern and clean. I would recommend to a friend!

Experience was much lower than expected for this price point. You feel that they are trying to cut costs on every possible thing and squeeze every last penny out of the client.

Positives:
Staff very polite and helpful
Rooms are of adequate size
Easy access from garage to the rooms

Negatives:
Very bad value for money.
Breakfast very poor lacks variety and there were flies flying around the juice area which is just unacceptable.
The garage is super hard to get into and out, entrance and exit are from the same ramp they have traffic lights inside the garage (a first for me) to avoid cars coming face to face with each other and if you a driving a large vehicle like mine the parking spaces are impossible to fit into.
Rooms are old and run down with no views mine was overlooking an air conditioning unit.

Average hotel/stay

Very average room for the price. I stayed here for 5 nights and The first room I stayed at has a sewage smell in the bathroom which is not nice. I changed to another room on 3rd night since the receptionist said someone would go fix the smell on 2nd day but it turned out it didn't happen.

I was assigned rooms at the end of the corridor both times so the room is a bit weird in its shape and I think they may be smaller than normal rooms.

The card slot is not by the entrance and once the door is closed it was pitch dark in the room and very hard to get the card into the slot for electricity .......

There isn't any sockets by the bedside so it's really not user friendly especially given it's a business hotel.

Lighting of the room is a bit strange - white light so it's a little eerie for me as I would assume hotel rooms should have warm/yellow lighting for ambiance and comfort.

The water temperature in the shower in my 2nd room was bad, if I get warm water there wouldn't be much water pressure. Only when the water is scalding the water pressure is normal. Also I have a big suitcase and if I place it opened on the suitcase rest which is behind the door, the door couldn't be opened completely or I would crush the corner of my suitcase easily if I wasn't cautious when opening the door.

Location is great, a few minute walk from metro, train and coach station as well as a supermarket. 20 min metro ride to the old town.

Pool is not bad, shower facility is minimal.

It was sadly a bit far from the main city tourist area but there was a train station/metro 3 min walk away. Overall, it was safe and the rooms were clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My main issue was the pool area. I chose this hotel just for that, but the water was very cold in August. Also, the pool filters showed lots of mold and the pool lounge cushions were very grossly stained from water. I could not sit on them, even with a towel under. I would suggest wipeable vinyl or similar. Apart from that, it was in a quiet area, but away from cool patio restaurants and the Lisbon atmosphere.

Very welcoming atmosphere and receptionist very friendly.
Room was bigger than expected and fresh and clean. Tea and coffee (with creamer too) a nice touch.
Lovely big and fluffy bath towels as well as hand towels in bathroom and Nuxe soap etc.
Beds very comfortable and enjoyed a quiet night’s sleep.
Location ideal for appointment at IPO hospital and also for visiting Gulbenkian Museum. Short walking distance from railway station too.

Hotel was fine but the decor was a bit tatty. Peeling paint, wallpaper etc.

The swimming pool was closed for maintenance. If that maintenance was scheduled guests should have been notified that it would be closed when booking. One of the reasons I booked was because it was a hotel with a pool.

I had a lovely stay, the pool area was really nice, the breakfast after 5 days was very repetitive, it really need so variation.. The size and cleansiness of the room was good, or so I thought until I lost an earring, I had to pull out the furniture and it was so dusty and needs a through clean.
The staff were friendly, although I had to call Reception due to loud noise at night twice.

Stay was alright, but I had a terrible experience in Mercure Lisboa Hotel. Terrible experience! Stayed here dated Sept15-17, 2022. On the last day of our stay, we had breakfast, and I purposely placed my umbrella as an indicator on the table, so my husband knows our table. Something I do every time we travel. Never happened in the past! Some staff took it, never asked me if it's ours to think we're still in the table eating. They took and gave it to the front desk reception. It's not that we left it, it was taken where I placed it. I did not realize that it was missing until we arrived in Sevilla. Yes, I have travelled the world with my \"Fulton Aerolite\" as it's the lightest umbrella ever at 86g. For sentimental reason, I wanted it back! Of course, they will not cover the mailing charges. The hotel still has my \"Fulton Aerolite\". So, DO NOT leave anything unattended in the breakfast room or anywhere in that hotel. They will not ask, they will just take it!!!! BEWARE!

The hotel was very quiet - only another 1 or 2 guests staying, and this contributed (I'm sure) the the lack of organisation of the front-desk staff. When we arrived, we were told we had a Bed and breakfast booking - which I queried as we had a bed only - and was told it was definitely B&B. When we checked out - they tried to charge us for the breakfasts - after a few minutes of arguing, they relented and cancelled the charge (we'd only had breakfast on one morning in any case). Despite our room being \"Covid-safe\" and \"Thoroughly sanitised\" we found some empty beer bottles next to the fridge - presumably left by another guest - they were removed when we complained. Pool is nice, but the opening hours are restrictive. Probably wouldn't bother to stay here again.

Great property is nice and safe area. Seems like a business area with lots of offices around. The transit system is very easy and it takes about 15 minutes or so to the get the City Center. Rooms were very clean and the air conditioning system was very good. Pool area was very nice and had great views. The breakfast at the hotel was very good so take advantage of it if you can! One of the elevators were down and the other one was making tons of crazy noises. Hopefully they got them fixed! Staff was very helpful and the local restaurants were very good! Would definitely stay at this property again!

Nice hotel - 15 minute metro ride to the centre of the city. Pool (rooftop) very useful. Reception can have long queues.Metro (Zoo) 4 minutes walk and also incorporates Lidl and a suburban train station (40 mins to Sintra).
