Went to drop bags off, room was ready so went straight up, room was at front of property and on landing route of planes, didn’t hear a thing all night!
Only downside we had a flickering light in bathroom so mentioned it, but as only 1 night we don’t know if got fixed 106.
Would I stay again? Yes !!

A good idea to improve customer service is the easy way for the customer to reach the subway system and the major tourist attractions.
The breakfast is not included if you're not a member of the Ibis club. Very good food and hours of operation.

I knew when I booked it that it was removed from City center. Just needed 1 night after returning from Porto in order to sleep in Lisbon and catch our flight to back home. There is a Botanical Garden close by but we did not go see it. Definitely not a touristy area. Located in the suburbs. No nice architecture, no restaurants no shopping, nor even pedestrians. All high rises.
So it was good for what we booked it for. Small narrow room. We took Metro back in to city center for shopping and dinner, then came back to sleep. Shower was roomy so definite points for that.

The room and hotel services were efficient and met our travel needs as friends and I spent 2 days in Lisbon on a longer vacation. Access to Metro is very good. The old quarter is a pleasurable 45 min. Breakfast is 4 out of 5 and has everything needed. I would recommend the hotel to both business and holiday travelers.

The hotel is located right next to the airport so you can hear the planes. The staff was friendly and spoke English and the beds were comfortable. They is no safe in the hotel to lock your belongings and the room gets extremely hot especially after you take a shower and at night. You are also supplied with 2 towels, no hand towels. Overall, it’s a satisfactory hotel for a short stay.

Tive uma péssima experiência com esse Ibis. Era pra passar uma noite de descanso para uma viagem que começaria às 4h da manhã. Como o ar-condicionado não estava funcionando, fomos obrigados a abrir a janela. No entanto, com isso, o som externo atrapalhou bastante a dormir. Não só os aviões a cada 15min como também moto e carros que passavam na rua. O serviço e os funcionários foram muito solícitos, amigáveis e prestativos. Porém, com relação ao problema do ar-condicionado, faltou simpatia e alguma forma de desconto na hospedagem.

The location of this hotel is excellent; the bed is very comfortable, the windows shield the noise from the occasional airplanes flying by due to weather events. The staff is super friendly and helpful. We love all the Ibis hotel we've stayed in when travelling in Europe.

This is a lovely hotel. The front desk staff are very welcoming, and they are often doing other jobs, such as serving at the bar or hosting at breakfast. The lobby space is accessible and inviting. We loved the many trails/pathways behind the property.

We found it really great price and quality for a 2 star hotel. Clean, staff speaks English well and is very helpful, it was quiet and beds were very comfortable. 24 hours restaurant on site is a huge plus, even though portions were quite small and pricey, but it was delicious.

This was our first trip to Lisbon and stay at ibis Lisboa José. We were are aware the location was a bit out of the main area, but with traffic it ended up being a lot farther to see the nearby sights than expected. The only thing we really liked was the staff was friendly and welcoming. The room was clean, didn't seem sparkling clean but decent. The room was very small. There was a lot of things we expected for a hotel room that were absent, no coffee machine or kettle, no mini fridge, there was no plug ins beside the bed so you need to charge your phone by the window. The room was so tiny that you could only open one luggage at a time and had to keep everything zipped up or you couldn't walk around the room. It didn't feel like a hotel room, it felt like a hostel that was 10x the cost of a hostel. Overall for the nightly rate we expected more. We were limited as we were travelling with a pet, they are pet friendly so that was a plus! But there was a large pet fee which was also a negative. I wouldn't stay here again.

This room was way too small for 3 people - you couldn't even get around furniture and the air was not working - actually they wouldn't let you control it yourself so we had to open the window and it was extremely noisy. Also only one flat pillow provided per person. Do not recommend and would not stay again.

The check-in process was easy, thanks to the fast check-in service. I was able to access my room before the official check-in time. Amelia and Miguel were very welcoming members of the staff. However, I didn't have the same experience with the bar staff during my stay. The food and drinks at the restaurant bar were somewhat expensive and offered limited options. While it is located far from the city center, it is conveniently near the metro blue line.

The front desk agents were very kind and the downstairs lobby looked promising, but the room and bathroom were kind of a let down. Bed mattress was actually a two inch mattress pad on top of a frame. The room wasn’t dirty, but it felt like it could have been cleaner and the bathroom updated. Sink was not draining efficiently and not enough towels unless you asked for more from the front desk. Other than that, I was safe and it was a quick check in process. Theres nothing in the immediate area. I would stay in the historic area next time on my return to Lisbon.

Clean but basic

The day of check-in, staff were just like the weather: neither cold nor hot. However, things improved majorly for the next few days as front desk staff became friendlier. As for the breakfast room staff, amazing! Smiles all around and great service.

The hotel itself is well-maintained and clean. The room was small and the shower was a bit dangerous, especially for people with mobility issues. As I was staying a full-week, I went shopping for some groceries but, as I returned to the hotel, I realized that the room did not have a fridge. As a result, I had to keep my items in the bar's fridge and had to ask for the bag every time I needed something. Very inconvenient. The room did not have a safe either. Worse of all, it did not have an iron or ironing board. I later discovered that there was an ironing room on the 7th floor, which was nice. No gym and no pool.

I would consider staying here again for a short trip, but not for longer trips. Overall, a clean hotel with nice staff, but with very little amenities.

Location is perfect, near the next hotel transition. Room is adequate, but not large nor upgraded. Appreciate the lounge with informal dining choices. Breakfast is quite well done with many choices, and well staffed. Wi-fi worked well, but the guest room does not have USB charging ports; bring elec. adapters. Price was as agreed on the Expedia booking.

Nice but you can be better!

Average hotel, without parking garage, you need to park in front of the hotel, was not a problem. The air conditioning should be a little better colder. And breakfast should be has more hot dishes, eggs were a little bit cold. Nice coffee! The reception really nice! And the hotel is placed next to the metro station, plaza de españa! Really easy to move to old town!
