Wonderful staff, excellent views, centrally located between the two majors cities. Breakfast was terrific! We had a very pleasant stay.

This is a beautiful relaxing hotel with stunning views, great views and great service. The food was fantastic too. The only tiny negative was that a couple of sockets didn’t work in our room. Also the hairdryer broke and a light bulb went but the hotel sent staff straight away as they have someone on duty are on duty for 24 hours.
We had a great holiday

Staff are very nice and informative. Breakfast are good. Yet, the hot tub is not covered, bugs make use of it more then myself, though the hotel cleaned up every morning, bugs kept dropping into the tub.
Gregory
Absolutely loved staying here. It was clean, centrally located to Oia and other areas. Staff was amazing, Alex, Nicos and Catarina were all amazing. Highly recommend this place and can’t wait to go back.
Rawam
Excellent friendly staff, so kind and helpful and amazing views
Amanda
Great stay. Lovely staff. Beautiful view.

The room was clean and well stocked with water and towels. The staff went over and beyond with kindness and helpfulness ! Breakfast each morning was fresh and hot (also delicious !)

My husband and I spent five dreamy nights at this wonderful hotel. After much research on the hotels on the island, I couldn’t have picked a better hotel that checked off all the boxes. From the second we arrived we were cared for and catered to with the best service. The manager Alex made an effort to make us feel welcome and comfortable and all of the staff (especially Nicholas and Brunilda!) made our stay one we will cherish forever. Our hot tub overlooking the view was dreamy and a perfect way to end each day. Our room was spacious and clean and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel has an amazing breakfast each morning that overlooks the best view. Eggs, ham/bacon, sausage, pancakes, waffles, juice/tea/coffee, pastry, etc started off each of our days perfectly. We ate at the resturant at the hotel one night and it was amazing. The grilled calamari was very tasty and my husbands shrimp was divine! The hotel has the most amazing view of the sunset to end each day. I can’t wait to come back to this hotel with my family and would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing, away from the crazy stay. I consider the staff my friends and am looking forward to seeing them again.
Karlie
Our experience here was absolutely amazing. The staff were so nice, accommodating and attentive. The hotel was clean, beautiful and had amazing views of the water. The breakfast was hot and delicious and the restaurant was amazing. We had a great experience and cannot recommend this place enough! 10/10 experience and would definitely come here again and recommend this hotel to any friends/family who visit Santorini.

Don’t hesitate. If you’re planning to visit Santorini this is the place to stay. Rooms overlooking the spectacular scenery with a hot tub

The entire staff was very nice and they went above and beyond to make our stay relaxing

As my first time in Santorini, this hotel exceeded all my expectations. From the spotless facilities to the beautiful location, everything was exceptional. The continental breakfast offered a delicious variety, and the staff were incredibly polite and welcoming.
I can confidently say that Xenones Filotera Hotel is a fantastic place to stay for couples, families, or even solo travelers. I truly appreciate the attention and care from all the staff—especially the housekeepers, Bruna, Alexandra, Nikos, and their manager, Alexandros. They made us feel like family throughout our stay.
I will definitely return to Santorini and book this hotel again.

Great little hotel! Excellent staff, beautiful views and great location. Do recommend renting a car to get around (but parking is very tight). We went in the off season so not much of an issue!
Lisa Jane
We had the most wonderful stay, everything was excellent - from the friendly, helpful staff, beautiful pool and views and delicious daily breakfast to the spacious, clean and comfortable room, lovely shower and hot tub. The location was perfect too, on the Fira to Oia walking route which we enjoyed doing and within easy reach of supermarkets, restaurants and public buses. The food at the hotel was also excellent with awe-inspiring views from the terrace, particularly at sunset. We had the best holiday, highly recommend this fantastic hotel.
John
unbelievable hospitality and stay.
Romaine
The hotel was really nice. I have an allergy to cats. They were all over our balcony. The staff didn’t do anything.
Andrea
Very clean, well appointed room. Beautiful views and surrounding areas. Short walk to bus stop. Could use some more lighting around the bar area for the evenings.

First, Cristina and Ana were formidable. Very helpful and attentive. Everything else just fell into place. Spacious room with an unbeatable view. Great pool area and respectful people. I will 100% come back

\"We had a wonderful stay at Xenones Filotera and would definitely recommend it. We stayed in a Honeymoon Room, which had plenty of private outdoor space for two sun loungers and a table with chairs, along with that incredible view.
The rooms themselves are well-equipped and comfortable. While the fixtures and fittings are showing their age, this didn't affect our stay. The breakfast was good: a buffet style with plenty of options, available until 11:00 AM.
The staff were always welcoming and friendly. The hotel is in a great location to explore all the island has to offer, however we highly recommend hiring a car, especially if your staying more than 3 nights.
Santorini is stunning but often oversaturated with tourism. If you want to stay away from the crowds and relax, this is the perfect place for you.\"

Beautiful, comfortable room. Nice bed. Loved the outdoor hot tub and sunsets. Excellent friendly and helpful staff
Julia
Excellent staff who go above and beyond and they really made our holiday. View stunning but the hotel is located outside of the town so you have to walk up a steep hill or get transport to local amenities. Room a little tire. Unable to get food for 2 nights a week due to staff days off and was a limited snack style menu which was dissapointing especially due to the location.
Niraj
I had a fantastic 3-day stay at Xenonel Filotera. The room was spotless and comfortable, with breathtaking views that made every moment special. The staff were warm, attentive, and went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, and the location was perfect for both relaxation and exploring nearby spots. Truly an unforgettable experience, I’d love to return!
Mary A
Small, serene resort with wonderful staff. Gorgeous setting with views of Santorini caldera and East Aegean. Relaxing pool, great breakfast.

We loved staying here with our toddler. All the staff are absolutely amazing. They made our stay
Eduardo Martinez
Lovely staff! Everything was much better than we expected :)
Jaime
Thank you for your hospitality.
Marisela Isabel
This stay was amazing from when you check in to check out. The staff is great at helping setup taxis when needed. A car is definitely needed to explore but I feel that is anywhere on the island to make the best of your stay. The views around this hotel were insanely beautiful.
Hanna
Good location. Limited breakfast. Less amenities than surrounding hotels (like afternoon tea or treat, bed time chocolates, etc), but we’re always available 24/7. Did a great job arranging taxis. Great pool and views. Bar and food service very nice. We sat by the pool and got several delicious smoothies at good prices. Rooms were wonderful and spacious and cooled down nicely. Would stay again.
Pawel
Excellent stay for us. The best is the staff. Really kind and helpful. The breakfast is great with a great selection of food. Please note the property is far from restaurants and shops. But quiet thanks to it.
Tomer
The staff was very pleasent, the room was big and clean, the hole experience was perfect.
Yosvany
Everything was great, alex, one of the bartenders was extremely professional at all times, the front desk team was fenomenal as well,my ferry was 3 hours after the check out time and i was allowed to do a late check out,the view is amazing, only great comments about this hotel
Kin Wing
Good service, best sunset viewing location.
David
All the staff made us feel so welcome. Lovely hotel, great room - very relaxing. And the sunset view is spectacular.
Siham
The staff tried their best, most of them were nice but for the price I paid, I didn’t expect to see ants in my bed and have a problem finding space to park my car every time I had to move.
Didn’t use the swimming pool because of restricted hours. The gym was so small, not tempting at all. Sauna should be turned on every time you decide to use it. Spa services are on demand only because the service is provided by a third party. So I wonder how they got their 5 stars. Breakfast is the same every single day. They even have it delivered every morning by a food supplier. The photos on Expedia are very misleading: you think you have access to the beach with the photos of umbrellas on the sand, but these are pictures of beaches that are a 30 minute drive away from the hotel. Anyways, as I said, the staff tried their best to make our stay comfortable and pleasant, however the whole experience wasn’t worth the price paid. Many other hotels in the region offer better for the same price.

This hotel is beautiful. Staff was top notch and the facilities are beautiful. Better sunset than in Oia! Delicious food at great prices. I’ll be back!

The staff were super friendly and helpful.
The only downfall is their kitchen was hardly open and the selection was very minimal.
You could do takeout, but the food wasn’t very good where we ordered from.
The nearest grocery store was a 20 minute walk, which we were grateful or we would’ve starved.

Everything was spot on , staff are attentive and happy to help, premises and amenities were clean, spacious and well maintained , loved everything about it
The only very minor negative and I mean it is not a deal breaker as we loved our stay was the WiFi - in our room and around the premises it rarely kicked in - we struggled to get the internet

Is a little far from phira or Oia but the view from the sunrise and sunset is the most beautiful thing, the stuff was great, only down side theres no food for dinner time.
Koroush
Beautiful views walking distance to 3 excellent restaurants.
Jyoti
Amazing staff very friendly and helpful. Loved the hotel

Amazing Location with the View and comfort.
We stayed here for our daughter’s wedding in Santorini. Everyone there kind and caring about our needs. Christina and Bill at reception desk were so helpful. Alex the bartender amazing! And Juliano at Breakfast was fastastic. Breakfast included 8-11 daily and bar with food to order 3-11 evening. Air conditioning was tricky but we got it figured out. The bridal suite is superb! The rooms for 2 have cute hot tubs on patios facing the water views. The rooms for 3 were spacious and adorable. It was smack in the middle of the Oia and Fira hiking path which was perfect! You won’t believe the view from here until you see it.
Rachel
We had a wonderful experience, views were incredible, service was wonderful! Housekeeping each day! The continental breakfast was great- lots of variety, from pastries, meats, cheeses, eggs, cereal, good coffee and free flowing Mimosa’s!!
Oluremi
Majestic hotel has the best manager with a wonderful and efficient team . The breakfast was superb. Special kudos to Michael in the breakfast room and the lifeguard guy . I will definitely recommend this wonderful and majestic hotel to the tourist going to Santorini.
Joan
Bathrooms require work!
Bathrooms definitely require update and super cleaning because of high water stains on tiles. Would return but these were very distasteful as nothing appeared clean - even if it was!
William
The staff was incredibly helpful and kind.
Debra
The hotel is on a quiet row with a handful of other hotels with faboulous views of the caldera and sunset. It's peace and relaxed and a perfect base for visiting Thera and Oia. We stayed in a room facinging the caldara with a jetted hot tub and it was hard not to stay there every evening!
Gillian
Great hotel in a great location. The staff are fantastic.
Dimitri
Amazing location, with the best views. Attentive and cordial staff.
I wish it had a better internet service. Also, I highly recommend investing in a Santorini (mostly) wine program. High end guests come to Santorini, for the culinary & wine experience.

The hotel has great rooms and facilities. The views to both sides of the island are incredible. The staff is nothing short of phenomenal. Maria, Dina, Giuliano, Tomas, Giorgi, Papus and everybody else are wonderful. Highly recommend.
Paul
Great location just out of the chaos but close enough to dip in and out.
Sai charan
Staff is great and breakfast is good
Megan
The perfect hotel for a relaxing vacation in Santorini. The area is very quiet and the view is amazing. Skip the sunset in Oia and watch it from the pool deck/pool bar. Rooms were very clean and the staff was friendly. The restaurant is also really good, the food is amazing. There’s also a cute kitty that hangs around the hotel, she’s very sweet.
Tara
Friendly staff, incredible views, delicious breakfast (which was included with our stay). We had a great time here.

We had a 2 night stay. Overall we really enjoyed our stay. The staff and facilities were very good. The view is stunning. The location was fine for us as we just wanted to relax at the end of a two week island hopping holiday. But if you want to be close to a town centre this isn’t it. Breakfast was very good. We had a hot tub that was great for relaxing in after dark.
The only minor fault I would say could be improved on was the shower. Very tired and needed a refurbishment. Not what you would expect considering the overall standard of the property
I would stay again for a short break

Was beautiful but near to the beaches in the mornings and nights it was cold and humid should have heat was very cold !! I was there last week!!the rest was very nice I recommend it if you are going to stay at this hotel it is better in summer!! But it is very nice, it has good attention especially from the receptionist Tomas!!
Michael
This is one of the most beautiful hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Beautiful sunsets from the gorgeous pool area. Sunrise from the courtyard in front of reception. George and Dino were at the bar and were servers from the restaurant. The Sea Bass was delicious while watching the sunset. The front desk staff were outstanding in helping resolve an interruption in my trip caused by my cruise ship being unable to dock. They helped so much in modifying my stay. I am very grateful. I highly recommend this beautiful property. Thank you!
IRAIDA
The staff are excellent. They are facilitators and explained everything you need. The room was excellent too.
Diane
Approximately equidistant from Fira and Oia with fantastic views of the Caldera/sea. The personal hot tub was a nice touch, as well as the patio and bistro table where we enjoyed the view with a few glasses of complimentary wine. The pool area had a shaded area near the bar where we also enjoyed Greek pizza, wine, and the sea view. Outstanding hotel and staff.
George
This hotel was absolutely amazing. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. The staff was attentive, remembers our names, and provided service 24/7. Breakfast was included and was delicious. The pool was great and the view was even better. The only thing about this hotel is the location is not close to much of the sights however, the hotel staff was very accommodating organizing transportation for my party. 10/10 would stay here again.
Minoo
Beautiful views and wonderful settings
NEVILLE
The view is incredible on both sides for sunset and sunrise. The staff were great particularly Maria, Panos, the 2 breakfast staff and the 3 afternoon/evening bar staff - they were very engaging and helpful, and Maria had excellent recommendations. The welcome wine and fruit were a really nice touch.
There could be more sunbeds with shade ie umbrellas with better coverage.

I love our stay at Xenones Filotera. This property has breathtaking views and the best sunset views. The staff was amazing. It's very private and quiet. I highly recommend this place while you are in Santorini.

It was absolutely beautiful and everything I wanted and more. The staff was great, location was great! Definitely going back!

The staff went above and beyond to cater to our every need. Our shuttle left early before breakfast and they made us all breakfast boxes on the day we left. Panos was the most gracious host. He made restaurant reservations and car reservations
The view was amazing and perfect for the sunset. It is a few miles outside of Oia so the we did not have the craziness of the crowds. Highly recommend.

The staff (Panos, Julia, George, Margaret, Adeti, etc..) were absolutely wonderful! Beautiful, clean, and safe property. So relaxing! The breakfast buffet that is included is wonderful, fresh, and diverse. Shuttles are available to Oia and are easy to schedule. Can't recommend enough! We had a wonderful trip and want to go back soon! 😊

The hotel was very clean and the staff was friendly. We enjoyed the views from the hotel and personal hot tub. It was far out from the towns so having a car was essential.

Beautiful location. Staff goes above and beyond.

View of the caldera is great. The staff there is friendly. This is the place to stay in Santorini to unplug because it is away from the crowd.

Wonderful Hotel, incredible staff, best place to see the sunset.

Quiet getaway..
Xenones is an excellent hotel. It was perfect for sunset views. The walk to Imerovigli was about 30 minutes (uphill). I recommend taking the taxi into town and walking back. The staff was amazing, specially Georgios and the other front desk employee/concierge. They took excellent care of us. Setting up dinner reservations, scheduling taxis, a cruise, and ATV rentals.

This will make every other places you stay in the future look miserable probably.

Honeymoon
Incredible staff and very helpful in deciding what activities to do on the Island. Rooms were very clean, a bit warm, but had a safe, plenty of storage, and the staff gives you several welcome gifts if it is your Honeymoon. We had a private hot tub on our patio and it made all the difference. Room service was quick and easy and the food was a great option to have when we didn't want to leave the hotel. Highly recommend anyone going to the island stay here if possible.
BARBARA
Amazing. Large suite, helpful staff and sunset view. Transportation needed to visit the island. Walk for hiking to Oia and Thira behind the hotel.

Quiet and Relaxing Stay
Xenones Filotera was the perfect place for my husband and I to finish out our honeymoon. Located in a more quiet part of the island between Oia and Fira, we found it to be the the perfect place for a relaxing getaway. The service at the hotel was fantastic, and they took care of every detail for us. We absolutely would stay at Filotera again if we come back to Santorini.

Great place to stay.
The hotel is located just a short 15 minute uphill walk north of the town of Imerovigli. The service was amazing and they helped us planning thnigs to do and renting transportation. The patio view of the Mediterranean is breathtaking and the breakfast was very good.
The only slight downsides for us were the European style hand showers and the heated pool was a little cold for the weather when we were there. Everything else was amazing

It is a beautiful boutique hotel situated between Oia and Fira. It is a great location for sunset (or sunrise) views, you are able to see all sides of the island from here. Only a little hard to see the volcano, if that's important to you. The staff is incredibly nice and helpful. George at the front desk was the most helpful with tours, activities, shopping destinations and timings of when to visit which cities. Christos at the front was very helpful and accommodating to everything we asked. George and Bobbi were excellent, very nice and catering to alls needs. We had a wonderful stay, we had a room on the sunset side with the little jet tub, it was smaller than expected and not very hot, but we definitely enjoyed watching the sunset from there each night! Thank you Thank you Filotera staff!! We highly recommend and will be back!

We love the hotel view, it was SPECTACULAR, beautiful location, we really like that pool and jacuzzi does not smell like chlorine, what we love the most was the people, Yannis and Christos ver attentive to our needs, very respectful and helpful.

Santorini Charm Between The Two Cities
Pros: The view and common area are amazing. The rooms are big and beds comfortable. Cons: bathroom is outdated and tiny.

Fantastic experience!
The staff at the Xenones Filotera is first rate, excellent, and they take care of you like you are family! I can’t rave about them enough! They helped us find the right tours, excursions, and places to eat. They called for our taxi service and made sure we were safely home every night. They used their inside knowledge of the island to get us the best dining and sunset experiences.
The view of the Caldera is breathtaking. The accommodations were clean and very comfortable. It’s an ideal, picturesque location.
Thank you Xenones Filotera for making our Santorini experience magical!

They didn’t clean our room properly (or at all) until we asked them to on the first day. The staff were not properly led or trained so were sloppy and unprofessional.

Exceptional!
Exceptional service and facilities. I travelled to Santorini with my two daughters for a family holiday and the staff at Xenones Filotera made sure that it was a most relaxing and memorable stay. The location between Thira and Oia was ideal, away from the crowds, however, easy access to everything with a bus stop virtually at the front door. Incredible views of the Aegean Sea on both sides of the resort, fantastic pool and service with a smile. Loved every minute of it!
