We absolutely loved this hotel! The views cannot be beat…simply stunning! There are lots of hotels within walking distance (good shoes are recommended as many are up the walking path which you may have to do in the dark). Tasos tavern is the closest and offers authentic Greek cuisine and a welcoming owner. Breakfast was excellent - you order what you want the day before from a wide selection and it is served in a panoramic view room protected from the elements.
They have a deal with local businesses where they can deliver for one euro. We ate lunch on our balcony a couple of days soaking up the view. There is a fridge in the room if you purchase drinks at a local market but we loved that you could easily order from a beer/wine list at the hotel. Sunsets are fabulous…and the welcome bottle of champagne was used to watch it from the pool area.
The staff were amazing…kind and looking to make your stay as pleasant as possible.
My one and only caution is that we were in an upstairs room and even though we are both very mobile, I didn’t love doing the stairs at night to go to the bathroom. I would book a downstairs room next time.
If we are able to return to Santorini, we will look nowhere else. This is the most fabulous place on the island. Away from the hustle and bustle, but close enough to reach it when you want.

The property is absolutley beautiful, sunsets from your liunge bed or in the pool where everything you cam imagine. Staff, expecially Kallopi were so friendly and helpful, made a great experience. However, the hotel doesnt have a bar only breakfasts so you have to either go out to Fira or local town for a drink or the hotel.next door (or supermarket). There is also no shade from mid afternoon which can make the heat intense. Recommend a little car or atv to get around and recommend you go to the many beaches on the island, its a great alternative to the very busy Fira and Oia

You can get a shuttle van for about €15 pp to drive you to the town of Imerovigli and you arrive at the doorstep of this amazing mountain top view of the caldera overlooking the infinity edge swimming pool and think you have died and gone to heaven.
Choose the honeymoon suite for a two story private bungalow with windows galore overlooking your own private balcony and the sea beyond. Views of the sea from every spot at this wonderful hotel stay. Relax in the many cabanas around the gorgeous pool, or walk the pathway to the left just alongside below the pool area and walk 30 min lovely walk into Fira/thira for fun shopping and white stucco hillside views of narrow cool paths. Or walk the path to the right 2.5 hours to Oia( or better yet take the local bus just picking up outside in front for €2 and it drives to Oia and drops right there at the perfect Instagram worthy photos of your life. Calderas memories serves free breakfast every morning that is chef quality in this amazing cliff side open air restaurant. I can’t say enough how wonderful this place is. We spent 5 nights here in late September early October. Very friendly staff. Beautiful setting on the cliff top. Very quiet surroundings and always room around the pool. You will need warmer clothes for the evening at this time of year, but was warm by day.

A lovely peaceful little hotel if you want to stay out of the hustle and bustle of Santorini. Just be aware that although it’s not far from Imerovigli, it is a steep walk up the hill so not something you’d want to do in the heat of the day - but as long as you know that, it has great rooms, lovely views and very helpful staff.

This is one of the best properties I have stayed at anywhere in the world. First of all, it has one of the most magnificent views I have ever seen. Secondly, the hotel staff went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. They helped arrange transportation for us, with anything else we needed such as finding local laundry services. The hotel is in Imerovigli, which is in between Fira and Oia. This was perfect for exploring Fira one day and Oia the next day by walking along the path that goes right by the hotel. Since the walking path is down below the hotel, it is very quiet unlike many of the other hotels that have the path running through their properties with people walking by night and day. We could sit by the pool enjoying the view in peace and quiet. There is also a great local place immediately next door called Taso’s Tavern. The pool area was fantastic to relax by, and the jacuzzi view at sunset with a bottle of wine was epic. The honeymoon suite is absolutely worth the cost! The breakfast each morning was phenomenal. A great experience!

Calderas Memories Amazing Hotel Amazing Staff
The Caldera’s Memories hotel is a very high standard and we really enjoy our stay.
Especially the warm welcome from Giannis late at night on the first night explained everything in Santorini and everything worth seeing from sights to see and where to eat and enjoy our stay in Santorini on the Caldera. Our breakfast was amazing every day served by Kalliopi our waiter who always looked after us and maintained our room every day to the highest standard.
I can’t recommended this hotel enough from the staff to cleanliness of the hotel to the beautiful location of the hotel with magical views every morning and night and we have life long friends at this hotel with memories that will stay with us forever and can assure you we will be back!

Especially the warm welcome from Giannis late at night on the first night explained everything in Santorini and everything worth seeing from sights to see and where to eat and enjoy our stay in Santorini on the Caldera. Our breakfast was amazing every day served by Kalliopi our waiter who always looked after us and maintained our room every day to the highest standard.
I can’t recommended this hotel enough from the staff to cleanliness of the hotel to the beautiful location of the hotel with magical views every morning and night and we have life long friends at this hotel with memories that will stay with us forever and can assure you we will be back!

We were completely impressed with everything at Caldera Memories. The staff, Yiannis and Loukos, went out of their way to help us with restaurant recommendations, reservations, transportation to the airport and neighboring towns, and much more. We were extremely fortunate to experience the hotel and area in June, just before the return of tourism and high season.
The view is indeed breathtaking, and Imergovigli was the perfect choice, away from all the people of Fira and Oia. However, it perhaps is not for people who don't want to walk a bit. The path into town is uphill and a bit rough to walk on without solid-soled shoes. At night, the only light to guide you is your own flashlight, so be sure to bring your own or a cellphone that has enough battery. It's difficult to negotiate it both downhill in the dark and uphill in the heat of the day. We found it worth it in both cases, to find affordable dining.

Caldera Memories was the perfect location for a three night stay in Santorini. It is just a short walk from Imerovigli which allows more space and more space for luxury.
All of the staff were wonderful and really did their best to make our stay that extra bit more special. A highlight was definitely the hot tub in the windmill at sunset- something I will always remember!

I spent a lot of time looking at different hotels in Santorini, as I wasn't sure what part of the island I wanted to stay at and found the limitless hotels overwhelming. After staying at Caldera Memories for two nights, I can say I'm very happy with my decision and you should stop looking elsewhere and book this property immediately. I found the location to be ideal, as it was away from the crowds of Oia and Thera. It was about a 15 minute walk into Imerovigli, where there are plenty of restaurant options and a mini-market. You won't want to leave the hotel much because the view is just incredible. The sunsets were incredible right from the hotel; no need to battle the crowds in Oia. The breakfast was delicious in the morning and the staff very friendly. I highly recommend Caldera Memories!

It's a beautiful hotel w breathtaking views! Breakfast is served poolside again while enjoying the beautiful views. Most of all the other hotels on the Caldera walking path do not have the privacy like this hotel does. The others while you walk the Caldera you can see quest in pool area swimming, sunbathing etc. It's located in the middle of the Island w Fira on one end and Oia on the other. Fira is where you will find most of tourist all day and night for it's shopping, restaurants, bars, etc. Oia also same but on a smaller scale and quiets down after sunset. Caldera Memories is a small boutique hotel, there's no restaurant or bar but there's a cute Greek Taverna right next door and also where bus stop is located which is important if you are not renting a car as taxi's are scarce only 39 for entire island. So if you want privacy, views, quiet location this is the hotel for you!!
