The room was very clean, had plenty of space and storage. it was nice having a kitchen in the room, however their was only 1 plate and 1 set of cutlery initially. the staff has limited english but they try their best and are very friendly. the lounge was always empty so it was nice to go their for breakfast and afternoon coffee.

My room was on the 2nd floor so there was a bit of outdoor noise.

The location was OK, 15-20min walk to nearest public transport, not too many attractions nearby. There is a shuttle that runs to the BTS

Overall speaking, the experience with Valia Hotel is good with a spacious and clean rooms. Decors in the room is pretty new and good. Yet, the bathtub is new but the switch of the stopper has sharp ends which cuts my wife fingers when she tries switch the stopper. The hotel should take a look and inspect all those parts which customers will need to touch upon when using the bathroom

We really enjoyed our stay at Valia Hotel Bangkok Sukhumvit. The location is excellent, and the rooms are modern, well-appointed, and comfortable. We stayed in a suite with a jacuzzi on the deck which was a nice feature, though between the heat and city smog it ended up being more of a “nice to have” than something we used often.

The staff and service were outstanding throughout our stay. The outdoor pool is solid, the fitness facility is well equipped for a proper workout, and the daily chocolate hour was a fun and appreciated touch.

The real standout was the club lounge access. Breakfasts there were next level — an excellent mix of Thai dishes and contemporary options, all beautifully prepared. It genuinely elevated the entire experience.

Overall, we’d absolutely recommend this hotel to travelers looking for comfort, great service, and an elevated stay in Bangkok.

10/10 — would eat curry for breakfast again. 🍛

Entire staff was so friendly and nice! Everything was absolutely immaculate! Breakfast in the mornings was incredible!! The taxi drivers that stand outside the hotel were also extremely nice! They took care of us when we went on some excursions. Told us what to watch out for and told us about some incredible excursions to check out. One night the tuk tuk driver was harassing me at drop off, the taxi staff and the hotel staff immediately got involved. I felt so safe and welcomed at the hotel! I would definitely stay there again on my next trip!!

The staff are very accommodating and helpful. The family room we had has 1 King and a twin. It would have been better to have 2 double beds but within minutes they had an extra bed set up as there were 4 of us. I’m quite pleased with the service. The buffet breakfast is wonderful. The concierge helped us print some documents at no charge. The shuttle to the mall is also a great service. Overall a very pleasant experience. Would highly recommend.

This hotel is a bit of a bait and switch, apparently there are two buildings across the street from each other. The annex building appears to be the older of the two, and was very run down. Unfortunately, all amenities are in the main building, so if you want to use any of those, you are forced to constantly cross a very busy street. At least they do have a very dedicated crossing guard on staff at all hours to help stop traffic. Furthermore, if you are traveling as a group with multiple rooms, as we were. It becomes extremely inconvenient to be in two separate buildings. Some staff were very polite and helpful, others very dismissive. We were even accosted by one staff member while loading into a taxi demanding money for mini bar drinks we didn’t use. Considering the fridge in our room didn’t work, we definitely didn’t touch anything in there. Only after handing over cash because we were in a hurry to get to airport, did another staff member come running over to let the first person know they had the wrong room and wrong people! Overall, stay was okay, but I never would have booked this hotel if I’d known our group would be split in separate buildings.

Hotel is located in an excellent location. The staff was amazing and very helpful. The room I had was very clean. Hospitality was A+++
Make sure you add the breakfast to you stay as it is worth it. The buffet served is top quality.
Pool was very clean with a many spots to relax. Great pool bar service.
Staff is always ready to stop traffic as you come out of the hotel (traffic is heavy if you haven't been to Thailand)
Most important is the quality of service provided and how important they make you feel.
Future trip to Thailand I'm deft staying here again.

The staff at the hotel were amazing!The wonderful woman who checked me in gave me my Gold Member benefits with a great room upgrade and a 555 Baht dining voucher, which we gladly used. She also checked me in within minutes and everything with a smile. Almost everyone at the front desk remembered me. The consierge Koko and their other staff people helped me with restaurant suggestions as well as booking me a seemless taxicab ride to the Bangkok airport. They made sure that my 11:00 AM taxi booking happened right on time.
I also want to shout out a big thank you to the entire breakfast staff. I have never had such organized and attentive service in ANY of my breakfast buffet settings. Ahmad, the restaurant manager made sure that I had everything i needed and asked how I liked the food. They also had a really nice and personable girl, Mild, come over to me and welcome us back to the hotel. She was in charge of their egg grilling department. When the eggs were done she would bring them to the table. She was SO nice!
Our room was incredible! Spotlessly clean with great air conditioning and fantastic bedding, especiall the pillows and mattress. Posh at the front desk made sure my check out also went well. Again, so sweet I feel very lucky to have found this hotel. I have rarely been treat so well in a hotel or resort situation. I highly recommend this property! Thank you Valia Hotel!

For the most part we had a very nice stay at the Valia hotel. We did not receive all of our gold benefits as often happens when Hotels.ca says that we will get them. In all of the years that we have had different benefits we have only received a room upgrade once and we did not get one at the Valia either.
The room was very nice with a great bed and nice pillows and bedding. The washroom was excellent with a great rainshower shower head. The room was also extremely well detailed every day. My only complaint was with the hotels dining. On line they showed that their restaurant, in Bangkok, served Thai food. We quickly realized that they did not. We had a 555 Baht discount on food in the restaurants but when we went up to their other restaurant we were told that we could not use it there, even though they said it was usable in that restaurant. The server was rude and not at all helpful. I did complain to the manager and when we returned after having a dinner elsewhere we arrived to find a nice plate of fresh fruit and cookies plus a very sweet apology for what happened. That was a great way of dealing with a very unsettling experience. Our daily breakfast was fantastic!! Great organization and as is in most places in Thailand, beautiful and sincere service. We had an experience that was not the norm. I would definitely recommend the Valia hotel.

The property has two amazing restaurants onsite, awesome pool deck, and free shuttle service to a local mall. My rooms best was comfy, shower was excellent and my room even had a city view balcony. To top it off I received amazing service from the front desk to the porters out front. Special shoutout to the night Manager Ploy, Yok, and Mild! Ploy made sure I was able to get close accommodations to my friends room. Yok decorated my friends room to celebrate her birthday, and Mild helped me pick out the best cocktails in the restaurant. Will rebook on my next trip to Bangkok.

Very kind staff,the only issue I had was I paid for a room with a city view but I didn’t get that. Other than that the room was perfect love the bathroom. There’s a guy at the breakfast room in the morning that wear suits I think he’s there on the weekend, tall, don’t remember his name but he was very kind to me the whole time, made sure I had my hot chocolate and orange juice as soon as I get seated in the morning. The breakfast was very delicious it a buffet style and everything was 10/10 . I will chose this hotel anytime to go back to Bangkok.

I’m so glad I chose Valía as they exceeded my expectations. From the moment I walked in I was accommodated with luggage assistance, assisted at the check in desk promptly, and even granted complimentary early check in. The entire hotel was so luxurious and the king suite was dreamy. A massive shower with gorgeous marbling, dual sinks, and a stand-alone soaking tub that made you never want to leave the room. It definitely felt like a 5 star hotel and I would stay here every time I visit Bangkok. The food was incredible and they had a complimentary shuttle service to one of the luxury malls close by.

I'm picky. This hotel is great. It's clean. The premium deluxe room, whatever it was called, was beautiful - big bathtub and luxury bathroom.

My fave part was the breakfast which was included for me.

So much variety, different things each day, incredible Thai food but also Indian, Chinese, British.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here, and I can not recommend them enough.

Gym and pool also nice.

The room was brilliant we liked the fact that there was a washing machine in our room. We loved the daily free chocolates, cocktail buy one get one free deals and the 2 hour unlimited beer and wings deal on 6th floor. The staff were also amazing Mild was very friendly and helpful, and Sarawut was also helpful too. Great service when we return to Bangkok we plan to return.

Property is in a decent walkable area. We checked out early due to air quality in our rooms. Staff tried fixing it but I think the air handlers for the building just doesn’t handle cleaning the air inside well. Staff are responsive and location works but the downsides for us was air quality and the minuscule size of the elevator. Need to upgrade these two items for sure.

Very nice hotel in one of my favorite areas of Bangkok. Offers convenient transportation to the Emporium shopping area and its adjacent skytrain station.

The problem I had with the place is that my native language is English and they had no TV channels in English other than news stations. No movies or sitcoms or dramas. I like to unwind with a little TV at night and couldn’t do so.

Stayed through Christmas at this property. The staff are friendly and helpful, and we had a connected room. Rooms look a bit dated and old, the location is nice, but far away from tourist attractions, like the Grand Palace. Breakfast was very limited for vegetarians/vegans. Nothing was marked clearly on the buffet. They don't seem to care to cater to Vegetarians, staff just looked confused and didn't do anything. Place was overly crowded and it gave a 3-star feel at the best

Not quite 5 star service throughout. Doormen rarely opened doors ofr us. Our room request about a high floor and view were not satisfied with inadequate excuses about other guests staying longer. The lounge offering for snacks and drinks was poor outside of happy hour and it wasn't always staffed. We waited over 1 hr for luggage to be sent to our room and had to repeatedly request it.

We had a good and relaxing stay at Valia and would love to come back here on our next trip to Bangkok. The food at Florae restaurant was mind blowing, with fresh ingredients and skillful cooked. We crave for their oriental grilled chicken, grilled lamb chops, pasta with olive oil garlic and basil, beef bourguignon and more. The staff at hotel was very friendly and helpful, we felt welcome and taken cared of every moment. The location is convenient, walking distance to many good restaurants, massage, and quick free shuttle to shopping malls.
