Staff were amazing and helpful and location was great too, right near the tram stop and Iveagh Gardens, Camden St etc.

The building is gorgeous but the only downside was that because it was an old building, it is not as soundproofed between rooms and we could hear squeaks in our room when the next room walked around in their room. I always travel with earplugs, so easily sorted.

We spent most of our days out and about but the room was clean and location was great. Right around the corner from Dublin Express stop to and from airport. 15 minute walk to Trinity College/Tenple Bar. A little noisy at night from the night clubs on the block but nowhere near as bad as Temple Bar. My only caution is during the warmer months, there is no in room air conditioner that I see. Only a ceiling fan and a secondary fan available in the closet.

The room was clean, but the mattress on the single bed needed changing. It was very noisy with the constant trams and the night club over the road, with lots of loud music until the early hours. There was a sign about keeping our towels, but these were changed daily! The staff were very helpful and accommodating. The location for city centre was excellent and easily walkable. The public transport was excellent with numerous buses and trams.

Exactly what we required for our stay in Dublin. Central to city center, great transport, easy walking distance, all staff were very pleasant, coach transfer from Airport to City and visa versa was very simple (once you found the correct bus stop). Overall ticked all the boxes.

The only positive about this place is its location. We booked a room with two beds but were given one with just a double. The room was extremely small, poorly ventilated, and furnished with old, worn-out pieces. The bathroom had a strange smell, and the toilet flush didn’t work. On top of that, the front desk staff were extremely rude and showed little sense of hospitality.

The property is comfortable, and has a lot of character. Nice surrounding area, quite and safe. Short walk to main spots. The only thing that didn't like it's that I arrived at 2PM and there was still not a room ready for me, which is unusual in Europe during this time of year.

Everyone we spoke to was helpful/interested except for Ricardo. He didn’t seem to like his job. You should also know this street is filled with nightclubs. They provide earplugs (as your windows need to be opened) but the taxi horns and partiers will wake you up around 3am.
The room was small but cozy.

Great guesthouse just noisy at the front. .

Lovely guesthouse in convenient area- about 15-20mins walk into centre.we were able to reach everything easily.
The rooms were comfortable and clean and the breakfast at the hotel 2 doors down was fabulous!.Staff were friendly and helpful.
Our only issue unfortunately was the noise from the metro right outside the window - I know this is not the guesthouse fault but if you are a light sleeper like myself then be prepared if you are at the front like we were.It runs from 5am ish until 1am ish every 10 mins and it is literally outside the window!!!!! The staff were very accommodating and moved us to a basement room after the first night but this was still at the front so still noisy.
If you are a deep sleeper then you will have a lovely stay- opt for a room at the back of the house!! Everything else was great- I am only saying to make people aware as I didn't realise when booking up.we couldn't fault anything else- it was lovely.

We had room 12 which a huge spacious suite - the lounge area was large and had tv and coffee making facilities and then you popped upstairs to the open plan bedroom overlooking the lounge - amazing! would have been nice to have had a street view - but then it was quiet and peaceful at the back :) - would 100% recommend as location was perfect for everything we wanted!!!

Beautiful St Stephen’s Park was very close by, a great place for people watching and an evening stroll.

The property is near St. Stephen's Green where my meeting wwas located, so this was a low cost option. Staff were pleasant and the facility was clean but dated.
On the downside: There is no Air Conditioning, and the window opened onto the main street, which is right across from a bar. Also, the Ceiling Fan wobbled too much toleave on and get some sleep. Overall, I would say this is a low cost option for winter visits to Dublin. .

Impossible to sleep! Disgraceful that the noise level is not disclosed. Hotel is opposite a row of night clubs. Taxis completely fill the street blaring their horns from midnight to 4am! Absolutely cancels every good aspect of the hotel! The fact that they charge the same for the nightmarish front rooms as they do for the quieter back rooms says it all! They don’t care, they just want their money! An absolutely disgraceful ripoff of a place! Never again!

Nice stay on a busy st Patrick’s weekend

Lovely area easy to get to all attractions but also nice bars without the tourist prices - first room was a no go very small and no opening window. They changed with no problem for bigger room with an opening window facing a brick wall but actually was a lovely room. Breakfast was amazing at the sister hotel next door. At first we were unsure about having to go out two doors up but was nice. Staff not very talkative but pleasant enough. Would stay again or stay at sister hotel as area was nice.

The location is excellent for seeing the sights of Dublin, though parking was a bit of an adventure. Thankfully, the host directed us to a couple of public lots that weren't too far away. The room was spacious and had an overhead fan, which was nice. Great little coffee shop just down the street for a quick bite in the morning. Would definitely stay here again -- we had our very own \"Door of Dublin!\"

Staff were so unwelcoming and rude with an attitude when we first arrived. Was not a nice welcome to first arrive to. Not one smile behind the desk. I think the girl at the front was brazilian and gave us a lot of attitude regardless of how nice we were trying to be. The doors / walls are thin - the person in the room across from us had their TV blasting at 3am and we couldn’t sleep. The hotel has an old musky smell to it. Would not recommend.

Location is in central Dublin and very accessible to all tourist spots. We mainly use uber or taxi to get around Dublin. The hotel is located in an upscale part of Dublin. The hotel is very beautiful. Their decorations remind me of Victorian times. Staff is very friendly, kind, and professional. Our room was amazing. We have a large living room and an upstairs loft where our king sized bed was located. Everything was clean to my liking. However, bathroom and toilet are located downstairs though so if you wake up frequently at night to use the toilet, it's going to be a long way down. The hotel has an elevator or a lift but no air conditioning. They do have an oscillating fan which really helps because I like sleeping in a very cold room.

Enjoyed the location and the easy access to the tram and camden street (go to Anseo for great lp dj music). Plenty of restaurant and pub options nearby. Unfortunately they are building something next door so sleeping in or napping wasn't much of an option as there was constant loud drilling.

Overall the actual facility was wonderful. I was upgraded to a large suite for my stay. The guy at check-in was not super friendly, as he had been dealing with another customer complaining prior to helping me. I was not told nor shown where my room was, and was just handed a key and off I went. Sometime in the night, the power went out in the hotel and stayed off through to check-out at noon the next day. This was an annoyance in many ways as you can imagine, made further annoying by the guy at check-out (different than check-in guy) not even acknowledging or apologizing for the outage. I am not sure I would say here again, because of the unhelpful staff. Space itself was historical and neat, clean and spacious. Super conveniently located to most everything in Dublin City.
