Beautiful location. Very clean. Staff was polite but not so friendly. Staff seemed not interested at all in us but rather just getting the job done. I suppose that’s what counts but at check in, a warmer welcome would go a long way. Our room was nice and clean with a great view from the balcony. We were in the building above reception. Bed was hard- not for someone with a sensitive back or back issues. Beach loungers were included but good umbrellas were an extra charge. Seems strange to do that. The hotel offered free umbrellas but they were basically rain umbrellas- not strong enough for the constant sea breeze or big enough for two people. I suggest the hotel include adequate umbrellas with the loungers. Also faucet water not acceptable for drinking. Had to buy water for drinking. Bar on site was convenient with decent food. The hotel is not directly on the beach but just across from the beach- across a narrow busy dirt/ sand road. Easy and convenient. We would return but would need the adequate umbrellas included and we would need a softer Mattress or topper for the bed.

We absolutely loved this hotel and wish we has stayed longer. It’s beautiful and clean. We had a beautiful ocean view room. This hotel is right on the beach with its on beach club. The beach was gorgeous! They also have a really nice pool with hot tub. The bus to Naxos town stops right at the hotel so it’s nice if you want to go there. There are also restaurants within walking distance that are delicious.

We loved our stay at Plaza Beach! A fantastic location at the very end of the Plaka Beach bus route. It was great having a minimart right there to buy our bus tickets and any any goodies we wanted.
The staff are really friendly, from the pool bar, to buffet, cleaner, and reception. They were kind to organize a driver for our cooking class.
We had several meals from the pool bar. Great Naxos fries and cant forget the chicken nuggets. The fruit salad was also really good.
Beds are a bit hard and it would have been nice to have blankets in the room, instead of just a sheet. But, the folks at the front counter quickly had them for us.
We would definitely return.

We recently stayed at the Plaza Beach Hotel in Naxos. While the rooms are quite basic, they are clean, comfortable, and well-maintained – exactly what we needed for a relaxing family holiday.
We chose the standard family room, and it was perfect for two adults and two teenagers – spacious enough for everyone, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We had a garden terrace.
The real highlight of this hotel is the location. It’s right on the beach, with beautiful golden sands and crystal-clear blue sea just steps away. The pool is also a great bonus – clean, well-kept, and ideal for both kids and adults when we wanted a break from the beach. There’s a pool bar as well and the food there was good.
The staff were wonderful – very friendly and helpful both before our arrival and throughout our stay.
Another big plus is the hotel’s position right on the bus route, making it super easy to get into Naxos Town and back without needing a car. There are a few places to eat relatively nearby, but the first strip of restaurants where there’s a decent amount of choice is a 25 minute walk. There’s also a mini-market on site which is really handy.

The hotel was exceptionally clean, and the complimentary breakfast was both satisfying and delicious. Its location directly across from the beach made access incredibly convenient. One thing to note is the $30 fee for umbrella and chair rentals on the beach, which I had assumed would be included in the stay. That aside, everything else was excellent. Public transportation to Old Town was very convenient, with a bus stop located right in front of the hotel. There is also a mini market on the property.

I enjoyed my stay in Plaka Beach, but the hotel was just ok. It felt very impersonal. But I prefer smaller family-run hotels. So if you like resort-type facilities, then this is a good choice.

Overall clean room and friendly staff. Right across the street from the beach. Nice hotel pool. Free breakfast okay. Free complimentary drink from bar was nice. Bathroom could have been nicer and it was two twin beds pushed together instead of a queen bed. Bed was not super comfortable but it did the job. Our room was right outside a chicken coupe so there was a rooster making noise constantly which was a little annoying but this is in the adjacent property and I don't think the hotel could do much about that.

Most relaxing stay at the quiet end of Plaka. Well run hotel. The most beautiful beach for swimmers! We were fine here for three nights without a car. The bus runs from the port and stops right in front of the hotel. Multiple places to rent sunbeds on the beach and tavernas within walking distance.

Ideal location on Naxos, right at the end of Plaka Beach strip. Took the bus from the port, last stop on the route, easy and affordable to get to. We appreciated the calmness of the beach as it was not in the center of the action so not as crowded as the other areas, yet still easily accessible by bus and walking distance to many restaurants. Rooms and furniture have not been updated and are old and show signs of wear, however the rooms are kept clean. Enjoyed drinks and snack bar service on the beach.

The location is perfect, away from the busier sections of Plaka Beach. The Breakfast is 5-star. The pools are great, and it is directly across the street from the beach. The server that comes to the beach to takes order is a star. She is positive and upbeat. The bus that goes into town originates at the hotel. For $2.50, this certainly beats Uber! This is my second time here, and we will be back!

Property is great location to beach and restaurants. This is a 3 star hotel so don’t expect too much in the way of luxury or any extras. They do serve a morning buffet but just like most of the other higher rated hotels they struggle to serve it hot. Overall it’s good value for what you get. Also bus service works really well in Plaka to get you around.

Lovely property straddling the line between the studios all along Plaka and a fully fledged “hotel”. Helpful staff, good pool bar and cafe food. Breakfast a little bit reminiscent of school dinners but decent quality and range. We liked this a lot, not totally sure the price difference va the smaller studio places is worth it but maybe.

Beautiful beach but cost sun loungers
The staff were incredibly friendly and always made time for us. We asked for some pineapple for babies teething and they came always with it and without a fuss or charge. They allowed us 30 minutes extra for late check out free of charge too and were patient when we were a bit late due to feeding my baby.
The only problem would be that you have to pay for the beach sun loungers and they were extremely expensive. They are part of the hotel and we felt should be free. You had to pay the same price for one hour or for 7 hours. It didn’t make sense. The cleaning staff and waiters and waitresses made our stay. All so so kind. The beach is beautiful.

This is a great place to stay! The bus from the port ends here (and turns around to go back to the port). There is a mini-market here and a restaurant (the food is great too). The beach is amazing and the staff is very helpful and kind. This is the best hotel on the island!

Nothing special here besides walk to beach. Pictures of pool area are not representative of actual pool. There was a wire/net, makeshift fence around the entire pool which is a true eyesore. Breakfast was nice and wait staff around pool and bar were friendly. Rooms and facilities are pretty tired.
Front desk staff never sent driver for us at ferry and it was mad chaos trying to get a cab—took 50 minutes in 100 degree heat. Do not show up in Naxos without a prearranged confirmed ride to your hotel!!

Lovely resort!
We loved our stay! It was a bit far from the center but that made it perfect for relaxing and the beach was gorgeous. The service was great and they were so helpful. Recommend renting a car or moto or ATV if you stay here so you can really enjoy the island and not depend on expensive cabs.

We enjoyed our stay at Plaza Beach hotel although I wouldn’t recommend it to others because of the netting fence all the way round the pool which isn’t shown on the photos and doesn’t seem to be at any other hotel. It blocks the views and access to pool. It might not bother others but it bothered me!! Hotel staff said it was to keep drunk people out of the pool!!

This property is in major need of an update. The rooms were very dated, the bed was uncomfortable, and the shower was TERRIBLE. If even just the shower was updated I would give this review 3.5 or 4 stars instead of just 3.
The pool was large and quite nice but the amount of screaming children running around definitely ruined the atmosphere. This is definitely more of a place to bring your children than to just go to with your partner. The included breakfast was lovely, the Balcony was very nice and the close proximity to the beach was the best aspect of staying here. Also Petrino Beach Restaurant down the road was the best food we ate on our entire trip. This property has the potential to be a 5 star hotel but unfortunately it comes up lacking in a number of areas.

We spent a few days in the hotel with my boyfriend. It's a very nice family hotel in front of the beautiful Plaka Beach
Although it's located far from the center of Naxos, there is a bus stop literally in the same street of the hotel and there is a supermarket with fair prices right next to the hotel.
When we arrived, they gave us some free welcome drinks and also a free dinner, which was a very nice gesture. The breakfast was OK (but not the best quality) with a great variety of things to try.

The staff and service at reception, housekeeping and pool bar are amazing and they do their best from their hearts... Their location at Plaka Beach is perfect so we have access at once to the amazing beach and the beautiful large pool with views of the beach and countryside at the same time... with the best mojitos.

Nice place especially if you're looking for a beach getaway. The beaches and water are much nicer here in the Plaka area than the ones closer to town. Another plus is that they offer a great dinner buffet. It's nice not to have to wait for table service at the end of a long day. Breakfast was also fantastic. Loved our stay at the Plaza Beach! Literally right on Plaka beach, but with a great pool if you don’t want to spend all your time at the beach. Sunsets that rival the acclaimed sunsets of Santorini. The rooms are spacious and super clean. The breakfast in the morning is awesome. The bus runs right in front of the hotel so it’s easy to get in to town, or just down the road to Agia Anna or Maragas if you want a change of pace or access to more restaurants. The hotel also has a complementary shuttle to/from the port or airport which we found is uncommon in Greece so saved us $50 - $100 on airport transfers. Only a couple downsides - there is only a couple restaurants within walking distance from the hotel and no place serves coffee nearby before 8am...so if you are an early morning riser who needs coffee that is a downer.

The hotel was in a quiet area right by the beach. Very relaxing. We went in low season so some of the amenities were shut down (steam room, sauna). The breakfast also did not have the best food selection but, again, that may have been due to the time of year. The bus stop is right in front of the hotel so getting around is very simple. Overall we enjoyed our stay

We love this hotel on Plaka beach. Have stayed here for at least 8 nights each of the last 5 years. Friendly staff and excellent facilities. Pool a fantastic spot to relax. Beautiful beach over the road from the hotel. Excellent local tavernas in particular Petrino and Nikos & Maria’s. Good choices for inclusive breakfast. Wi-fi patchy but good speed. As seems typical in Greece beds very firm. Looking forward to returning next year.

The hotel is made up of small houses that all have front porches with chairs and coffee table. They are made in mediterranean style with white stone and are very well insulated from the heat.
We loved the pool and the jacuzzi that were very close to the rooms. The property has also sun beds on the grass where you can rest near the pool. It is also very close to the sandy beach where you can rent 2 sun beds and an umbrella with 6 euros per day.
The beach is very clean, the whole area place is quiet, away from the crowds that you can find near to the city of Naxos. Also the the colour of the sea in that area is a vey beautiful shade of blue.

Great hotel with lovely pool and beach across the road. Fantastic room with balcony overlooking the sea. Spent most days at the beach (6Euros for 2 chairs & umbrella). Great clean sand, spectacular view & lovely azure water. Breakfast was good and ample. Great bus service to Naxos Town - every half hour and on 2 Euros. Serveral traditional Greek restaurants within a few minutes walk.

The hotel is situated in a prime location on the plaka beach. The sunset just outside the hotel on the beach is one of the best I’ve ever seen. Check in was quick and informative. The room was clean and large and had all the amenities needed including beach towels.
There were many restaurants along the beach so food was never a problem.
The pool was nice although the jacuzzi pool was very cold.
There is even a small and fairly-priced shop underneath selling essentials.
Overall an excellent hotel and would definitely recommend.

Plaza Beach Hotel offered a nice getaway right on the beach. Area was quiet and a welcome change from the crowds on other islands. Hotel was at a bus stop with easy access to Naxos Town and within walking distance to several restaurants. Staff was nice and helpful, breakfast was very good. The hard beds, that were not very comfortable, are my only complaint.

I loved the location and the pool was great! There were two of us and instead of a double or a queen bed there were two twin beds pushed together. This was not very comfortable. The air conditioner in the room did not work very well. I was disappointed that the 'restaurant' just served a buffet. We found better food at restaurants down the street.

Got changed to this hotel at last minute so was bit disappointed at first. However, excellent location right on Plaka beach and close to tavernas and bars. Rooms are clean, staff were great, wifi in every room, breakfast was good buffet. Didn't have other meals or use pool.

Hotel is great, walls thick enough to not hear other guests much, spread out in small collections of 4-5 rooms at a time, v high quality materials used, relatively new therefore in good condition, nice pool and kids pool and jacuzzi and of course next to the best part of the Plaka beach. Enough tavernas in walking distance and small shops too for the basics.
Only negatives in my opinion: no wifi in the rooms, though good wifi in the restaurant, reception building, pool etc. Also a third of the gym equipment was tired or not working and the sauna / steam room was locked.

Total relaxation in paradise
The hotel is a complex of many buildings. My room was located in the building behind the reception and the restaurant. The room was beautiful and spacious, the bed was comfy, the bathroom was nice. It had a lot of storage space and a great balcony. The staff was kind and the breakfast was really good. The star of the hotel is definitely the pool area! It has 3 pools (large adult pool, smaller kiddie pool and jacuzzi), heated to perfection. It has great sunbeds and umbrellas, and a poolside cafeteria/pub. And best of all, the hotel is right across Plaka beach, which is absolutely beautiful. There are sunbeds and umbrellas there too, with service from the cafeteria. It was a perfect relaxing stay and I hope to be back one day!

I loved my stay at this hotel. I highly recommend staying here, close to the beach, clean rooms with balconies and nice buffet breakfast. Only thing I wasnt satisfied with was the charge for ironing services as there is no iron available. The ironing service is not expensive but this is the first time I have been to a hotel that doesn't offer an iron to customers and charges for ironing to be done. Also, no UK to EU power adapter available.

Wouldn't stay here again- best Naxos beach hotel?
Plaza hotel is not bad if you are on a tight budget and you don't mind being in the middle of no where. We didn't pay a lot for the room, so can't be too critical. It does have a nice pool/restaurant facility, but there are like ten sun chairs and they are all claimed first thing in the morning. The beach is pretty, but the waters were wavy- basic sun chairs were available on the beach. Breakfast was decent. The room had two single beds pushed together with cheap linens and the type of blanket on top that reminds one of jail- the bed is hard. The bathroom was nice and had a good stand up shower. The room was overall clean and appeared newly renovated to some degree. You must have a car if you stay here- there is a local bus but if you want to go to town at night there is no way to get back past 10pm unless you hire a cab. There are a few restaurants (Taverns) around and a minimart which is hidden inside the campground nearby reception area. Overall the area seems sort of desolate and lacking any new investment. This place is for you if you want very low action and very little support from hotel staff. We honestly felt sort of bored here- and if the weather isn't cooperating it has absolutely nothing to offer. Also the clientele were older folks, which is okay but made for somewhat limited company if you are a young couple. FYI the blue towels in your room are your \"beach towels\" and will only be changed every 3 days. Other white shower towels are regularly laundered.
