Break fast was great. You get a full meal its not random breakfast for everyone like normal hotels. They have ac actual meal menu to choose from. We were supposed to stay in a villa suite, unfortunately these villas are huge and have a VERY tall ceiling with only 1 tiny AC unit working. We were not able to stay in our villa due to the nor cooling properly unfortunately & we tried 2 villas with the AC on for over 24 hours. Realistically its not comfortable for moat people to stay in an 85 degree room

This hotel was lovely. The setting is gorgeous, the dining room overlooking the pool area is a nice feature. Our room was beautiful and very well kept daily. It was stocked with everything we needed, even bathrobes. The staff was friendly and helpful, the bar was nice, but not used very often. I felt bad for the bartender at times. The morning breakfast was good, and a variety of things so you didn’t have to have the same each day. The pool was kept clean but quite cold for swimming. The same for the private plunge pool on our private deck (gorgeous) but very cold. This location is easy walking distance to the main town area for a wide selection of restaurants, cafes and shopping for gifts, etc. Right across the street from 2 fabulous grocery stores. The beach is about 4 kms, so 1/2 hr walk or you can get a cab, rent a scooter. I loved the area and would recommend it for couples or families with older kids.

Room was in good condition. Common areas, especially the chairs by the pool, and on the rooftop need to be cleaned and maintained daily. Staff at breakfast was not attentive or helpful. One day I waited nearly 30 mins before being acknowledged and then another 15 mins before the waiter took my order. Restaurant was rarely open outside of breakfast and there were not many other food options nearby.

Great little hotel right near the two main Tulum roads with parking availability in front and on the street. During our 9 day stay we felt safe and well treated. Our room and facilities were clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. The courtyard nature, pool and bar were lovely. Great place to enjoy a cigar and relax. On arrival we were put in a queen room, should have been executive king - was moved next day to room we paid for.
Breakfasts were not "made to order". Fixed menu, absolutely no substitutions, food was inconsistent & not great. Coffe & juice were really watered down. Most days couldn't even tell what the juice was. 3 days in row the small sweet breakfast rolls were rock hard.

Overall very good! Walkable, affordable, and clean. Complimentary breakfast included was nothing fancy but exactly what you need to get on with your day. They included daily coffee, tea, and a small fruit plate along with your choice of main which included your typical omelette, toast, chilaquiles etc. The room (2 double beds) was spacious and clean and the property lobby and pathways had lots of lush beautiful greeneries which gave wonderful tropical vibes. Staff were very helpful and friendly with any questions we had. We really appreciated the early check-in and luggage storage service as well. Now some negatives but NOT deal breakers in my book — 1. The water temperature and pressure in the shower could use improvement, 2. The pool could be better maintained, 3. Not the most quiet if you are noise sensitive. We stayed in the first floor and felt we could hear people talking in the adjacent rooms and halls, doors slamming, chairs dragging upstairs pretty well. It didn’t bug us too much though, just something to note. 5. Though it is just a quick 10 minute walk to the main Tulum Centro area, it is dark and not well lit at night. We felt pretty safe in the area and locals seemed lovely but just use caution and your best judgement especially if you are women. Overall a great stay and would recommend it!

The staff were great at this hotel. Swimming pool was great too. This should be a superb hotel but is let this hotel down by the design of the room. Firstly, on the top floor, you can hear the loud grumbling of the rooftop plunge pools throughout the daytime. The rooms, although clean and comfortable were let down by the strange decision to not have a bathroom door and a piece of glass between the shower and the bedroom. I mean why do they do this!?! The room also had a frosted glass window into the hallway with no blinds to cover the light from coming into the room.

These things were disappointing. But as I say, the staff were wonderful.

The rooms have high ceiling, showers are amazing, it’s a quiet peaceful hotel, it has peaceful jungle ambiance. It has pools on main level and on top floor. Rooms are spacious with a balcony. Breakfasts are delicious. Room service and front desk staff and restaurant staff were beyond amazing. Hotel has parking and is located in close proximity to two major grocery stores and a lot of restaurants. Highly recommended

The luxury 2 queen room was so surprisingly extra spacious with its uber high ceilings, and no unit was on top of us on the ground floor. The grounds are immaculate, and the rooftop garden was surprising. The free breakfast was great as well - were pleasantly surprised there was a free made to order entree and not just buffet style.

I was so happy with the room, which was large and clean, the grounds, beautifully taken care of, and people working every day on the grounds and pool, the rooftop terrace, where I witnessed several beautiful sunsets, got some sun, and took a cool dip in one of the four small pools. I sat several hours in the hammock listening to books that I downloaded. This was my second favorite place to hang out. Breakfast was always delicious and made with great care. I also had two suppers there, and they were delicious as well. The wonderful people at the front desk answered my questions patiently and correctly. I stayed here for 12 days and it started to feel like home. Everything was very well taken care of. Héctor M. was extremely helpful and so friendly. Everyone that worked the front desk, which is staffed 24 hours a day, was wonderful! I'm definitely going to stay here again!

The room was clean and in general we liked the hotel and its neighborhood. However, when we entered they asked us to pay 285 peso and they said it is extra tax. I fully paid everything through hotel.com so not sure what that extra tax was.
There are five jacuzzi in the hotel but none of them has hot water. We asked them if they can increase the temperature and they said no.
We asked them if we can late check out and leave the room at 1pm instead of 12 and they said no or it is possible with extra pay. After I returned to my room they said we can stay one hour longer.

Positives: Super charming and welcoming hotel with an amazing pool and rooftop. Staff was friendly and helpful. It’s not in the middle of the city where most restaurants are, but an easy 10–15 minute walk gets you there. There’s a great supermarket right across Avenida Cobá, and parking is conveniently in front of the hotel. They offer beach towels, and our room was comfortable. Best of all, there are three super cute and friendly orange cats living on the property.

Ok: Breakfast is included but with limited options; still decent to start the day. The shower drain was initially too tight, preventing proper water flow, but loosening it solved the issue.

Negatives: Towels could be fluffier, no non-dairy milk options at breakfast, and our balcony’s sliding door was hard to pull.

Overall: A cozy, cat-friendly boutique stay with a great location and relaxing amenities — with a few small details that could make it even better.

Excellent location for first-timers , solo travelers and anyone who rather be in walking distance to shops and restaurants. Breakfast menu can be better but not a big deal. The only thing was that the charge for washcloths if you they can’t get the stain out which most women wear some form of makeup so ladies bring your own. Not very busy location and easy to get to things from that location. Overall, great stay!

Overall I would rate our experience here a 5/10. When we arrived, we had one person in front of us checking in and it took nearly 45minutes to check in. Once we checked we arrived to our room, our rooms and the hotel itself is very beautiful. We then found out the elevator did not work so for our stay we had to take the stairs. Since it was a long trip, we decided to have dinner at their restaurant the food wasn’t just ok, but during our stay the lights were constantly going out. During dinner they went out around 4 times and a couple more times throughout the night. The area outside is not the cleanest but I will say I didn’t feel unsafe walking even at night. There is a supermarket just a short walk from the hotel. The next morning we had breakfast which was included for us but the menu was extremely limited. The only drinks included were coffee, tea and milk followed by 6-8 dishes. I wanted the waffles but during my entire stay the waffle machine was broken. They also had an extended breakfast menu which you could order from for an extra cost. The staff is very nice and friendly so no complaints about that. Checkout took a longer amount of time than expected as they check the room during that moment to make sure there is no damage. We used 2 small white towel to dry our face which left some makeup and this resulted in them charging us for both towels claiming they could not clean them so they had to replace them. Lastly, if you are used to US hotels I would skip this one.

This is the second time I stay and the only reason I choose it’s for the location this is the same guy who make the check in he toll me it’s low season when he take me to the room it was on the corner the 103 queen bed and when I make the reservation it was king I toll him last time I made the same one and they give me exactly the same room I reserved this time no chairs no table only where you hang your clothes and he toll me it’s that what it’s available I stay for 5 nights and I was returning he could be more flexible good thing I not thinking of retuning to Tulum the beaches where horrible

The rooms were clean and modern and very comfortable. Cleaning service was very good. The main pool was good size and clean, there is fun rooftop area with good views and soaking tubs. Our breakfast was included, you ordered off a menu and it was tasty and filling.
If you have rented a car and want to see a lot of sites, Centotes, mayan ruins, etc great location. You can still walk to good restaurants in Tulum and ten minute bike ride to beach. There is really no public beach in Tulum and had much seaweed. Jaguar beach is US$20 per person entry fee. The Jaguar park beach is very nice and we did stop at Paraiso beach club which had nice facilities along with the very nice Jaguar park beach.

Overall, we had a great stay. The hotel was located approximately half hour taxi ride from the airport. Staff were very helpful with check in process, and any needs we needed during our stay. I really enjoyed my stay in Prana! From check-in through out the duration of my stay, they exceeded my expectation. The atmosphere is very chill and tranquil. The breakfast options were limited but no complaints, I enjoyed my fruit platter every morning after eating our hearts out with tacos every night. The location was perfect, two minutes away from Chedraui grocery store where we got our essentials. Everything was walkable in the area.

They cleaned and tidied out our room everyday and the staff were very friendly especially Rosie and Miguel at the reception. They were very attentive of our needs and made our trip to Tulum exceptional. I would stay here again when I come back. I highly recommend Prana to anyone wanting to visit Tulum!

The property is truly beautiful and very well maintained—our room was spotless and the overall environment felt peaceful and welcoming. That said, there were a few things that didn’t quite match what was advertised. For example, the website mentions partnerships with nearby beach clubs and on-site bike rentals, but when we asked the front desk, they seemed surprised by those claims and let us know those partnerships don’t exist. The hotel is also a bit farther from the beach than we expected, and it’s not the easiest walk or ride.

The dining experience was hit or miss. While the menu had a decent variety, the food didn’t quite meet expectations and service could be slow at times. Still, the setting itself is lovely, and with a few updates and clearer communication, this could easily be a standout stay.

I loved this hotel. I stayed in Villa 10 with a private patio and a plunge pool. The room was spacious, everything worked and having the private patio with the pool was so nice. One thing: if you’re going to get a room with a plunge pool, keep in mind that there are a lot of trees around and while the staff does its best to keep things clean, there will be leaves in the pool (including the big pool) especially when it gets windy. With all the greenery, keeping stuff out of the pool is an exercise in futility so it shouldn’t be something to complain about. The staff is so nice and whenever I needed something, it was done. The one thing I would change about the suite I was in: it would be nice to have a small table in the living area. There’s a stove and a fridge but nowhere to put food on. Same for the patio, a side table for the lounger would be nice. The breakfasts were great. I don’t understand the complaints about small portion sizes. Everything I had was more than enough. The rooftop bar is great at sunset and service is excellent. Same for the restaurant and the bar by the main pool. The reception and cleaning staff are great. I needed a relaxing vacation and this place delivered just that mostly thanks to the great staff. For the surrounding area, it was so nice to have a huge supermarket across the street and so many great restaurants walking distance. As a solo female traveller, I felt very safe walking around.

The location was ideal for biking to downtown or the beach. It is a small property with a great staff. A superstore is within a block of the hotel and we were able to stock the mini frig with cold drinks. Many food options within a few blocks. I would recommend this hotel and it was perfect for our needs.
