A mixed stay overall. The hotel is further from the action in town than expected, relying on the bus, which takes longer than you'd think and drops to roughly every 30 minutes in the evening. Taxis aren't a great backup either, as there are no ride-hailing apps available locally and you can't hail one off the street.
On the plus side, the communal spaces are easily the strongest part of the experience, especially if you need somewhere good to work. Laundry was a great addition too: free, 24/7, with detergent included. The room was clean, fairly large, and nicely designed with varied lighting, though storage was limited, the bathroom needed more hooks (towels kept falling), and the blackout curtains let light through no matter what I tried.
Overall it felt more like a really nice student residence than a hotel - clean and well-designed with great shared spaces, but without the extra layer of service you'd expect at a hotel. Self-service check-in felt a bit pointless when staff were available to check me in directly anyway. Food and drink on site leaned overpriced for what you got.
