Spacious room, nice bathroom, good bed although we had twin beds despite requesting double. Breakfast was good, but not exceptional. The surrounding area didn't make us feel safe though. And the value for money wasn't great compared to many of our other stays in Spain.

This hotel was a great choice. It has a modern and fresh feel, with very a polite and helpful reception team. The hotel was incredibly clean....which is a wonderful feeling as a guest. The only downside is the location, but it was an easy bus ride to the old town.

Further from the city center than we thought

Beautiful hotel with an amazing breakfast but further from the city center than what we would have liked. We ended up using the bus most times which was convenient but being in the center is where we would normally like to be. The garage was scary…really long drive to the hotel’s spaces but then the elevator brings you up to your floor. We really did love our room and the service was top notch!

Very bad area and lots of party noise from near by buildings when we complained about the noise going on to early morning the staff where not interested and suggest me emailed a compliant. This happened for two out of the three nights of our stay. We also asked for a late check out we where told to ask the following morning however that then stated the hotel was full so it was not possible - we checked on line and rooms where available so felt we had been lied to .

This hotel was really cool. We loved how it was so sustainable and thought out. We enjoyed the common area to sit in after a long day of walking and a late dinner. The rooftop breakfast was such a nice setting and great food options. We are vegan and were able to eat lots of fruit, toast, juice, tea, and some cereal with chia seeds and walnuts. There were a few milk options too. I loved everything about the rooftop and the decor around the hotel. Rooms were small but just right for a quick stay. Look for the “free exercise equipment”! It cracked me up! Great, cute hotel! We would stay here again! And it was so close to the botanical gardens and museums.

Good hotel, longish but manageable to the old town

Very good stay. We walked everyday to the old town so didn't stay in the hotel much nor used the dinner facilities. The checkin was early yet we got our two adjacent rooms, which was great. Breakfast had an assortment of good cold and hot dishes, fruit, and pastry, but no vegetables. Maybe the norm in Spain.

We booked this hotel cause of the available on-site parking as well as the rooftop. Parking was as expected. The rooftop was a disappointment as it didn’t had any view plus the hot tub was not in service in addition to it being very small.
Checkin was quick and reception staff were helpful in giving is transportation recommendations into the old town area.

This hotel is not a 4 star more like a 2 stars, every thing in the hotel was so basic, there was only sliding doors on the toilet,it was poorly designed, very overpriced, the bar was 2 meters long would not recommend this hotel . It should have been described different ,

It is an ok hotel and well over priced. It all looks almost perfect on pictures but it is run down. Things don’t add up. Food is very expensive and has an ok quality. The surroundings are - well - difficult; I didn’t want to walk alone at night around the hotel. Staff was mainly very nice and made the stay pleasant.

Bottom line: we will not come back :-(

Could'nt fault anything and in particular every member of staff was helpful courteous and friendly. It is located a 20 minute walk from the beach and the old town but it's an easy walk and the hotel has a direct link to a lpcal taxi company which provides an immediate response.

Clean and modern with excellent staff!

The Hotel Zenit is a very clean and modern hotel. Not far from the center of the city or train station. We were extremely comfortable and pleased with our stay and highly recommend. Note that there are two Hotel Zenit in San Sebastian. My daughter stayed in the other one and had nothing wonderful things to say about it as well.

Worth the stay

Good location and pleasant stay

we spent 3 days in hotel Zenit and it was a very pleasant stay. The location is very good and it was an easy stroll to La Cocha beach and old town. The room was spacious and clean, hotel staff was very friendly and ready to help.
The hotel has an underground secure garage for the daily fee.

Not a Cosy stay

Enjoyable stay. Staff were very friendly especially Alex on reception. He gave us a map of the area and pointed out the main attractions. Dinner was great. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice, but maybe a little bit pricey.
Ideal base for exploring as the hotel was nicely placed for walking into a very nice town.

Trip to San Sebastián August 2019

Great hotel, situated a short walk outside of town, and in a very quiet neighbourhood. Staff were super friendly and helpful on check-in, a big call out for Alex who made me feel very much at home. Upstairs terrace was great as was hot-tub, though would have liked a cold shower to cool down as it was super hot up there. Breakfast was excellent plus I had dinner in the hotel one evening which was amazing value and excellent quality. Would definitely stay again

It’s fine for a slightly cheaper stay in San Sebastián. Location is 15 minute walk from the town but it doesn’t feel difficult. I liked the hotel - although don’t order room service - it was disgusting.

The hotel staff were most friendly and helpful. However, I had to point out that the room I had suffered somewhat from traffic noise late in the evenings and early night time. The breakfasts were good value with a lot of choice on offer. The hotel is located somewhat far out from the centres of activity (eg the seafront) but the walks to and from the Old Town and Concha Bay were interesting in themselves.

Staff was petty and unprofessional. I arrived late the night before. They insisted on charging me €10 for a breakfast I never had. They claimed they reserved the food for me; My response “let me have it the food reserved for me”. They had no answer to that. It’s a shame that a four-star hotel would be petty over €10. They won’t be getting my business again.

While the hotel is a distance from the center and the old town - long walk - the staff was so friendly and welcoming it made up for the few taxis I took. As a New Yorker I’m not accustomed to being treated so genuinely warm.

Modern hotel

The hot tub and roof terrace were not open. We had a room which was very noisy due to road, but were successfully moved to quieter room after 1st night. Hotel is modern and clean, breakfast was delicious.

I must say this is my first negative review, and been completely honest I dont know the hotel personally but last year throught Orbitz I booked for my parents the hotel and their comments were quite negative about the staff attitude, and the hotel was regular.
As my experience I could not travel due to medical reasons and Orbitz as usual provided me with their very proffesional assistance, and asked the hotel to refund the room, but they did not. They dont understand reasons. So it was quite unfair. So fellow travellers just be aware and dont expect any fair treament from Hotel Zenit in San Sebastian.
Once again thanks the always wonderful staff at Orbitz that goes beyond expectations to help members like myself.

Wonderful property just wished it were a little bit closer to the old Town. The receptionist, Andrea, who checked us in was one of the best staff members we have ever encountered in checking in to a hotel. She was genuinely friendly and extremely helpful.

didnt like i got a room for special need people which i dont need it was smelling bad and no normal bath room i asked to change and they gave me a room with 2 beds [ we were a couple ] and did not do any efforts to help me at alll
