A great hotel and so welcoming for us and our two dogs. AGoing to book on our return leg to the UK.

It’s in a good location a 20 minute walk into the centre of town through some nice areas with tapas bars and people milling about. Definitely recommend.

Decent stay except for sewer smell from shower

Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. Unfortunately there was a strong sewer smell coming from the shower drains. We needed to use a wet towel to cover the drain when not in use.

No parking and not really pet friendly!

Let’s start with the parking, its not actually on site and it's NOT free. It’s in a public car park and is over €20 per night. You have to cross a main road to get there. The EV charger is av and only works if you have an account, you can only have an account if you are Spanish!!!!
Dog friendly- like other hotels, although you can take you beloved pet they are not allowed anywhere in the hotel, even though the restaurant was like a canteen.

Great stopover on our way to France. Parking a bit far away, but helpful staff guided us. super nice with dog bed and bowls for our dog that was also offered a snack on arrival. Nice breakfast to a reasonable price.

The hotel is very nice. Has an underground parking one block away. Staff was friendly and profesional. Breakfast was not so great, and while the king size bed was HUGE and very comfortable, the smaller beds where a little noisy and a little hard. Overall the hotel is quite good, but price is somewhat high compared to other good hotels nearby outside of San Sebastián.

Will not stay here again

Never again will we stay in this place. The AC didn’t work. When we asked for maintenance to fix it, we were told that it was past nine pm, and maintenance would not work after hours. This is what we found:
the bathroom smelled like mildew, the toilet seat was coming apart, there were stains on the bed, there was a huge hole in the curtain.

Good location and very comfortable rooms

Our room was very large and the bed comfortable. We had a balcony but I don’t think many other rooms did. The breakfast had a good selection and all the staff were very friendly. It was a 20 min walk into the old town but there were lots of facilities nearby. The bus stop outside took us straight to Ondarerra.

Think twice before booking this hotel!

Never again will I stay in this place. The AC didn’t work. The receptionist was rude and incompetent. He refused to call maintenance out because it was past 9pm. All he could say was:”What do you want me to do? I don’t know how to fix the AC.”
The bathroom is filthy and smells like mildew. The toilet seat is coming apart, there are stains on the bed. We had to take the headboard decoration down before it fell. There is a huge hole in the curtain. The phone doesn’t work. This is a roach motel for the price of a comfort hotel

A perfectly fine but not exceptional place

The location was a 20minute walk from Playa de la Concha and avoided the noise that the old town can have. Service was good but also didn't need anything other than checking in/out. Beds were fine. Showers need frosted glass as the shower, toilet, and sink are all exposed in the same area. Facility as a whole needs a tough up of maintenance. Stains in the carpet, chipped walls, etc However, that's not to say it was dirty by any means. It was fine, not great.

The parking is not in the building, but there is a convenient parkling lot quite close. Only one recommendation, the bath has see through walls from the room. The only issue we had was a very noisy pipe in our room that went off every time someone flushed the toilet. Otherwise stay was very comfortable. Incredible value for money

We loved our 2 night stay here over Christmas. Staff amazing, room big, quiet, comfy and spotless and breakfast included an added bonus. Bus stop outside into town (less than €2) or walkable in about 20 mins. I would come back here in a heartbeat when visiting next.

Quality hotel in San Sebastian

Got off to a slow start, the hotel entrance is a little hidden and parking is very limited. The actual car park is the public parking across the roundabout and it's rather expensive. That said, once sorted, the hotel proved to be a very nice place to be. Public transport right out the door, rooms bright and cheery and the staff were helpful. A good option In San Sebastian - definately worth a try.

First AC ive had in EU hotel that actually blasted.I guess because its an individual unit. Was a nice hotel overall. Decently close to the main part of San Sebastian. It was near 200, I just feel I've had better at that price. Wifi worked.

Loved it, weird balcony

I loved this hotel. The most comfortable beds and pillows of everywhere I've stayed in Spain. It's a 25-30 minute walk to the center of the town and beach. There aren't cabs so just note this. The only thing that was really strange was that you share a balcony with your neighbour with no partition. This worked out great for me as we became good friends but as a female - little scary. Overall, great stay

The staff are nice and the hotel was clean and tidy, but just a bit underwhelming. The shower is a glass door in an open plan studio - weird. And the toilet door didn't have a latch and was on a sliding door that opened by it self. No one needs to share the experience of a number 2!


Also, I asked for car parking(which was on the listing) and there wasn't any available when we arrived (and it did say subject to availability when I looked closer - but that would have been nice to know when I originally asked. This didn't make a big difference as they sent me to the car parking building where they parked there cars anyone. Cost for two days was 52 Euro.

There is no ability to drive up and take your bags out, so you have to walk with your luggage to the hotel and the distance depends on if you're lucky enough to get a park near by.

The location is what it is - 1.5 km easy walk to the beach, but that gets old when you go down twice in the day. There was a bus service if you wanted to work it out.

The breakfast was basic - clean and tidy though.

Overall an average rating - not the best, but certainly not the worst either.

Not Planning to Stay here Again

Nice location and comfortable. We were staying with a group and small items started to go missing. We overheard another guest reporting the same issue. The staff appeared pretty indifferent to the missing items. There was no in room safe for valuables. The most valuable item that went missing was a pair of Rayban Sunglasses that disappeared while we were downstairs at breakfast. Other items were costume jewelry and a phone charging cord. This could happen anywhere I suppose but it is first time experiencing petty theft in a hotel.

This was a good option for a 3 night stay in San Sebastián. Staff were really helpful and the room was extremely clean and spacious! Only down side was parking our hire car. It cost €60 and was a bit of a trek with the luggage as it was not next to or underneath the hotel. That said, if visiting SS via public transport in the future, I would certainly stay here again.

2 Star Hotel and the worst stay of our trip

We stayed in multiple hotels on our trip around the Basque country area and this was by far the worst.

1. The room when we arrived was not sufficiently clean and had brown marks all along the windows, and markings on the walls where paint had been rubbed off.

2. Unless you stick only to bread and croissants, the breakfast was terrible and inconsistent, some days the food was barely edible and others it was actually okay! The coffee was a disappointment.

3. The cleaning of the room during our stay was also inconsistent, some maids cleaned the rooms properly and others left the bin still full even though it had nappies inside from our daughter (3 years old).

4. The beds and bedding were not changed until the night before we left, my wife accidentally marked a pillow with some lipstick in her sleep but that pillow cover was then not changed for 3 cleanings in a row even though the bed had been made.

Note that you MUST put the sign outside to say that you want room service, as they will not automatically clean the room.

The worst part of it all though is the price, I could have booked the lovely 4 star hotel just around the corner which had good coffee and breakfast for the same price as here! But I was fooled by the nice pictures and reviews on here and elsewhere....

We really loved the hotel.
It’s nice and central and accessible to the beach and old town by bus or bike or walk.
We loved the cleanliness and spaciousness of our room, and the decor was very modern and attractive too.
It had all the services we needed too.
The reception staff were all lovely and very helpful.
Some complimentary water in the room would be nice.
One criticism would be that it is slightly noisy in the mornings - I think our room was close to a housekeeping office and they were a bit loud at times and even with earplugs we woke a bit earlier than we would have liked on a relaxing holiday.
But other than that all good.

A fantastic hotel for the price. Similar starred pensions offer similar quality. Room was really modern and comfortable. A friendly environment. Close to sam sebastian buzz too. 20 minute walk to the beach front through fantastic parts of the city. I also dod a big walk upto the eureka science museum

Our stay was amazing! The staff at the desk and breakfast were very nice, smiling, and helpful!
Breakfast was excellent, and the ladies in charge were constantly replenishing everything!
Room cleaning was wonderful! We had our bed made and towel change offered every day! Room cleaning supervisor was frequently asking us if our room had been cleaned,
The hotel rooms are comfortable, but there are not enough chairs or tables to place our belongings.
The room needs a safe.
The bathroom is a good size! Great shower!
The hotel is located in a very nice area, very close to bus stops, and train and bus stations.

Hard to find entrance

Our room was incredibly large, befitted for wheelchair users which I thought was amazing, it's very functional but lacking in design giving it a bit of a hospital feel.
Finding the hotel was not easy since it has no street access. If you're arriving by car there's nowhere to park but at a bus stop.

Although it's a little difficult to find st first, it was worth the effort.
The room, small but completely adequate had everything including a small balcony (no real view to speak of but quiet) with a window/ door that opens 2 ways; there's A desk with chair, a small reading chair, reading lights for both sides of the bed!, A surface for luggage, small closet and drawers. Lights everywhere you may need them.
The bathroom had everything as well and the nicest surprise was that the water comes out hot immediately. You set the temperature and you don't have to wait under freezing cold water. I would definitely stay here again.
The breakfast buffet was a little wanting, but it was in a nice room with really helpful staff.
A bus to the Old Town (28) and train/bus station (17) are a 1 minute walk away but both places are easily accessed on foot.

No tiene un Bahia para descargar equipaje en la puerta del hotel, y hay que caminar desde el estacionamiento con equipaje , pero solo es atravesar una calle , así que no está tan mal .

Hotel is only a 15 minute walk from the Old Town/Bus Terminus. We had a 4 person family room which was excellent. No tea/coffee making facilities or English speaking TV programmes though. Nevertheless for a 2-star hotel it was very good. Breakfast was included which was also good.

The hotel does not exchange dollars for euros.
The staff told us where a money exchange location was and after we walked there, circled the block a couple of times, it was not there. When I told the staff, he said “maybe it isn’t there”.
They staff was supposed to reserve us a taxi to the airport and they did not. After waiting for our taxi for quite some time, we had to flag one down and rush to the the airport as to not miss our flight.
The rooms are good but the staff could better.
