I wrote to the hotel with this feedback but received no response.
The hotel check-in was terrible. It took over 15 minutes as my husband had been ill and asked me to and our dogs to join him. The staff had no real idea about how to use the system and we just had to wait whilst they all worked it out.
The next morning my husband went out before me but asked the staff to add a breakfast for me - when I came down again, the staff had no idea what we were talking about.
The person on reception had absolutely no idea what was going on with the amendments to the booking and 15-20 minutes later, with the help of another member of staff, they finally worked it out.
The hotel is nice enough, but really I just want a welcoming fast check-in and out, with a smile ideally. Instead, the arrival, the paying for breakfast, and the settling of the bill was just really, really stressful.

I don’t like to leave bad reviews, so messaged all this directly to the hotel, but received absolutely no reply, hence this.

Very, very, very poor. Either the staff are not trained, or the system is not fit for purpose.

Everything was excellent about the hotel .very good breakfast even starting at 3 in the morning! The whole place was very clean with lots of seating.we had our evening meal there which was very good . The bar was abit pricey but aren’t all airport hotels . We walked to terminal 2 in about 5 mins .Will definitely stay again . The staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble

From the proximity to the train station and airport, the friendliness of the staff, the well organised layout of the rooms, the availability of the bar and restaurant, the all round cleanliness, the provision of tea and coffee and the incredible showers.

We would 100% stay her again when flying from Manchester airport and recommend it to anyone

I stayed here for 1 night as I had an early morning flight. The hotel is in a good location, 5 minute walk from the train station and around 10-15 from Terminal 2. Check-in was good and the manager Steph was lovely. The staff I spoke to in the restaurant were friendly and helpful. The food was also good, but expensive. The room was clean and comfy. However, the hand and body lotion had run out in the shower. Thankfully, I was able to use the other one in the bathroom. I notified the staff member working reception when I was left at approximately 2:30-2:45am but he didn't seem to care and said that housekeeping check these things. They clearly didn't check my room.

Despite the issue with the amenities running out in the shower and the receptionist having an indifferent attitude, I would stay at Tribe again.

The staff were friendly and helpful, the hotel is in good condition and is clean. My main issue is the poor WiFi - as there is no signal in the area you are reliant on that working. There was a lot of noise during the night but I appreciate there is only so much the staff can do about that.

Have stayed a few times before early morning flights. Super handy location as it is only a few minutes walk to the airport station and then a quick walk to the terminal once inside. The rooms are decorated nicely and the lobby/bar area is also really nice. The hotel is let down by the up-keep of the rooms, for a modern and new hotel it feels like the rooms are already becoming a bit shabby. Cleanliness was generally good but the spoons for the coffee machine hadn’t been cleaned. I also think the rooms need to be sound-proofed better, in the bedrooms you can hear noise from the bar area and the past couple of times I’ve stayed here I’ve been kept up by noise of people going in and out of their rooms - the noise of the bedroom doors closing can be heard from your room.

Clean room, had half board but reception didn't recognise this and had to show booking, didn't give us breakfast voucher had to go back to reception. Room was nice and clean. Breakfast buffet was good, evening meal wasn't great 2 courses and a drink included but not much choice. Really easy to walk to terminal 2 about 10 mins walk through train station entrance.

Parking is £25/night and a 5min walk to the hotel- bear that in mind if you have a lot of luggage. Apart from that - excellent all round. To make it better - mini fridge in the room, even if there were a surcharge we would have paid it.

From the second I walked in the reception supervisor made me feel so welcome I think he was called Austin I can’t remember he was a really nice guy the rooms are clean the shower power is great the beds are big and comfy the restaurant staff were terrific A gent who also stood out for excellent service was Nazik because of these guys I will return !

TRIBE Manchester is an excellent choice of you want to stay in immediate vicinity to the airport. The room was comfortable and clean with very good soundproofing. The staff was very helpful and helped address an issue straight away. The only thing I didn’t like was the breakfast, there was instant coffee and the quality of food was below average. Except for this, the room was spot on.

The only downside of our visit was we were unable to order any food as they had run out? On the website it stated you could order pizza between 10pm -12pm we arrived at 9:30pm after a 3 hour journey this was very disappointing.

Stayed here recently and unfortunately had a frustrating experience regarding parking.

The hotel advertises parking as “subject to availability”, which I took to mean that if a space was available on arrival, it could be used. I also contacted the hotel prior to my stay and, based on the wording used, understood this to be first come, first served. I made a point of arriving early to secure a space and specifically chose this hotel because parking was listed at £25 per night.

However, after parking, I was later contacted and told I needed to move my car as the spaces were effectively pre-allocated. This was not made clear at any point beforehand and created unnecessary stress during my stay.

To add to the confusion, my room overlooked the car park and at no point did it appear to be full. There was also an overspill car park on the opposite side of the road which remained empty, so the situation was difficult to understand.

Although I complied and moved the vehicle, the issue could have easily been avoided with clearer communication. I also raised this with staff but did not receive a meaningful response or resolution, which was disappointing.

Overall, the lack of clarity around parking and the poor follow-up from staff left a negative impression.

Easy to find by following the signs from the t2 car park. Rooms are good, typical airport hotel rooms. The dark decor showed every scuff mark but generally well maintained. The restaurant was good but pricey (but I suppose normal for airports). We stayed in a room overlooking the atrium. It was quiet and fine for a one night stay. Will stay again.

Lovely hotel near the airport. Clean, tidy, sufficient for our needs. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Despite being near the hotel it was pleasantly really quiet and peaceful. I could not hear the planes at all. I would highly recommend. The price of room was reasonable in comparison to others in the area. The parking was at the back of the hotel and easy to use. I think this will improve once the works at the front of the hotel are completed.

We ordered pizza and chips at the bar to take back to our room, which took less than 10 minutes to arrive! We noted that this was consistent for other visitors too.

The feel of the hotel was modern and fresh.

Only negative is need some improved directions on how to reach hotel from rail station as hotel did not answer request for directions and Google sends you to terminal 2 which ends up in a walk on a busy road when in fact rail station is merely a few mins walk via a dedicated footpath
