We had a look at the menu for the restaurant and it looked amazing...only sorry we were unable to sample it.....think we need a return visit in better circumstances so we could enjoy all it has to offer.

I have tried numerous hotel in Wilmslow and south Manchester and this one was one of the best for its convenient location in the heart of town, cleanliness, size of the room, which was equipped with all the essentials including USB ports which were came handy to charge my dying mobile battery. I didn’t use their dining facility though but perhaps next time.

The Wilmslow Lodge was a really convenient place to stay for what we wanted to do. Everywhere was clean and tidy. Staff were really friendly. Not always someone at reception as they were busy in the Coach and Four, but a contact number at reception if you needed anything, they were very quick to respond, so no issues there. Coach and Four was an excellent place for food. Would definitely stay there again

I really enjoyed my stay at the Wilmslow Lodge. My first visit to Wilmslow which is a nice place to visit. Check in was good and the staff were all friendly, helpful and welcoming. My room was spacious, very clean and with a good bathroom and walk in shower. The bed was very comfortable with tea and coffee making facilities in the room. I enjoyed sitting on the sun terrace of the pub in the sunshine with a drink before enjoying a very tasty evening meal. The breakfast was excellent freshly cooked to a good standard. I would book to stay here again when next in the area. Thank you again to all the staff.

We only came for one night . The hotel staff greeted us and were very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean. The staff ordered us a taxi that evening and it came within minutes.we both slept well. Breakfast the next morning was delicious! With plenty of tea or coffee the staff in the morning were friendly and helpful.We would definitely recommend this hotel .

Nice stay in wilmslow lodge. Very accommodating on parking car up before the 3 pm check in. Room clean and tidy although was quite a lot of noise from the upper floor so next time I’ll ask for an upper floor room . Breakfast was preet good , fruit ,cereal , coffee ,tea, full English. staff very friendly . Location is great.

Stayed for one night room only to attend a Christmas Do in Wilmslow. Check-in was quick and efficient and room was spacious with a very clean and smart bathroom. Bed was large and comfortable and security on the window (it was a ground floor room) was excellent.

I think the hotel must know this already as there was an industrial style, plug in, fan in the room. The fan did provide some relief but it was a noisy fan so could not sleep with it on.

Happy to say there were no problems with cleanliness, but it needs a renovation. The fan in the bathroom is largely useless, and so it stays steamy in the bathroom a long time, and you can't keep the door open to the room, because it will set off the smoke alarm. 4 out of 5 sockets wouldn't work for me, although it's possible it was my cheap adaptor, but the same adaptor finally worked in one plug. It's next to a pub. so it's noisy if you want the window open. I asked for a wake-up knock on the door at 4:15 AM (no phones in the rooms), and instead, I heard 15 min of nearly continual knocking on the door next door just before 3 AM. Never got the knock I asked for. Floor a bit spongy underfoot by the sink in the bathroom. Things are a little down at the mouth, but adequate.

We pulled up quite late but to my absolute surprise out jumped Gavin the GM with a smile, a fantastic attitude to customer service and a willingness to lend a hand. His relaxed professionalism and understanding was much appreciated as I was travelling with small children. The Wilmslow Lodge couldn’t do enough to provide a friendly, relaxed atmosphere and their breakfasts (which I don’t normally eat) were just too tempting to ignore. All the staff were brilliant and I’d definitely stay again.

A lovely no-frills place to stay before a flight out of Manchester. Plenty of restaurant and shops within walking distance and only about 10 minutes from the airport. Bed comfortable and shower water pressure good and water nice and hot. Doors are quite heavy so I could hear the neighbors along the hallway coming and going when the doors slammed shut.

Close to manchester airport, we had a flight arriving after midnight. The property was near by. For an extra fee we could have a very nice English breakfast. Coffee and tea were available in the room with all the necessary adds (sugar, cocoa, etc). The staff was very friendly and accomodating.

Faulty door spoilt visit
Faulty door in room 10. We stayed there for 8 days and after the second day out we returned to find our room was open- the cleaners thought they had closed/locked the door but although closed, wasn’t locked. Anyone trying the door could have had free reign of all our belongings. Thankfully we arrived back early to our room so everything was in tact. Seeing as the room was just behind the reception of the hotel anyone could have walked in and tried our door - the reception was very rarely manned so it could have easily happened..We were told that the management had fixed the problem but it was just the same when we left. I had to leave a note each day to ensure the cleaners made sure they had firmly locked our door once they had serviced the room. The room was serviced to a high standard each day which was to be thankful for!

The rooms are basic and there are stains on carpets, chairs etc. The bathroom door shuts automatically and steams up very quickly. There was quite a lot of noise on the floor i was staying on.

My family and i had a great stay. There were three of us staying and the room was big. The extra pull out bed was a double and was already made up for us. The only litlle thing i would say was there were only two of everything i.e. cups, shower wash soap etc, but as i said it was only minor. You stepped right out of the Lodge into a covered garden and the entrance to the pub. Excellent breakfast, plenty refills of coffee! Much needed. Great for central wilmslow.
