Only issue was one of cleanliness in the bathroom which had an underlying smell of urine. Mentioned it to staff in morning and believe it would be addressed. Also found storm noise from window disturbing, but storm Amy was a bad one!

Disappointed stay. Not a premier stay!

Paying £14.00 additionally for parking in front of the hotel feels like over charging and a meana to make money.

We were told at dinner that certain foods were not avaliable so we ordered carefully, choosing items that did not have the items that were not available. My husband's salad waa missing the chicken and I was told several items to my meal were not avaliable, even though they were not on the initial list.
Our order took a long time to come out as well.

When we used the elevator/lift the door opened and would not close. We kindly informed reception and she stated it had been doing that all week. Staff left the door openon the 4th floor with no signs indicating it was out service.

The hotel was well used but acceptable.We were unaware that there was major renovations taking place. We arrived very late but we were woken very early by drilling and hammering, very unpleasant and uncomfortable. I hope to get a full refund.

Early run to airport

Good room and facilities. Loved the Sshhh zone. £3 mini-bus to airport on time. I'm intrigued that they offer a refund if you don't get a good night's sleep. How can they prove it? I didn't have a good night's sleep, because my mind was too active pre-trip and I kept waking up. Not the hotel's fault.

My bed was a mass of ridges and valleys and my promised night's sleep never materialised. I spent most of the night massaging aching hips and by 3.30 am I made myself tea. It was an expensive few hours sleep and I would not recommend it.

My review

Just had the one night here before a flight. The room was very clean, great bathroom, spacious room and nice working area. Breakfast was good value, and costa coffee downstairs was a great bonus. I must admit disappointment with the comfort of the bed. The bed was amongst the most uncomfortable I have slept in, leaving my neck and my back hurting the next day for my flight, which was not ideal. Staff were beyond exceptional, minus one very rude woman at breakfast in the morning, who, when I said I have a table and couldn't find me on her list had a to at me before another lovely lady realised the mistake and assisted me to a vacant table and apologised. Didn't catch her name, though I would have loved to. The last thing I was disappointed with was the ATM, it was not able to give me money for the entire duration of my stay, and without another ATM on site, and the closest being back at the airport terminal, this was a let down, and an inconvenience. Overall not a overly pleasant stay, and would consider staying elsewhere next time for a higher price, purely just for the sleep quality.

Good place to stay over for Manchester airport.

A good clean new hotel. Some confusion with the neighboring hotel of the same name. Look for north or south on documents. Room was too cool despite temperature adjustment but bed and duvet were adequate. A good meal in the restaurant, small children catered for. Altogether recommended and will use again.

Excellent hotel best for short stays or stays before a flight. Lovely staff who were very helpful, nice little bar/restaurant area and a lovely little coffee shop where you can get a light breakfast. Rooms are comfortable, with air conditioning, tea/coffee making facilities and ensuite. Very clean with crisp white linen. Was very impressed with the standard of this hotel and its value for money.

Very pleasant and efficient receptionist on arrival
We had expected a twin bedded room after booking on line but a double room was booked due to misunderstanding. However another bed was quickly made up while we had a drink in the bar.
Taxi arrived promptly at 5am as booked.

Ideal location for a friend's party

Window catch was broken and wouldn't close properly so room would have been noisy. It would appear that it is a common problem at the hotel. It was closed for us but we then couldn't open it which wasn't too much of a problem. We did wait a while to see if we might need to change rooms so wasted nearly an hour. Service was friendly, breakfast was very good value

Hotel does the job as an airport hotel. It is a typical Premier Inn - functional, room clean. TV remote did not work. Biggest drawback - hotel doesn't have a shuttle to and from the airport... Taxis cost me £6 each way to terminal 1

Close to the Airport - very convenient

The hotel itself was very nice, and it had a Costa shop in the lobby. This was most pleasant. The food served at the hotel was also good, but they do not have room service. No room service was fine, but they do not even allow you to phone the order and then pick it up. You need to actually go downstairs and order the food. That was most inconvenient since we are only talking about a simple phone call. To top that, the head hostess (with RED hair) was a tad rude. It is not often someone answers back when ordering food, as if to question the order. It was my order - not hers - so I could do without the descriptive lecture from her. The hotel might want to find someone with a slightly better disposition to be the head hostess. This was my only true complaint. We took a short walk to the \"Runway Park\", which is a small park area off the airport runway and you can watch the planes land and take off. It was quite interesting and it was full of families. A good place for the kids if the weather is good. The shuttle to the airport was fairly priced at 3 pounds per person, as the local taxi was twice that rate. I will stay here again, and I recommend it to anyone who is traveling by plane.

Staff very helpful. Hotel very clean. Room clean, however very noisy indeed. Sleeping in the middle of the M6 would have been quieter at night! The noise was simply down to the very poor maintenance of the window in the room. It was loose and ill fitting, so all you could hear were the lorries and cars all through the night on the airport trunk road!.

Convenient for the Airport

We had booked into the Runger Lane North Hotel. Upon arrival, our reservation could not be found, yet they said a number of reservations had been transferred to Runger Lane South (immediately across the parking lot). From then on our experience was excellent. The folks over in South were very warm and welcoming, arranged our dinner reservation & an hour of free internet, and were patient with all our questions. They do have a shuttle service via local taxi to the airport, but it is not free. It cost us 3 pounds per person per trip.

Comfort of the beds - not as expected did not get a goods night sleep. We booked a meal and had to wait for 15 minutes which we did and sat by the entrance. After 15 minutes somebody else came along and was directed right in. I told the server that we were waiting and she just said she didn't know. I told her she had the book in front of her so she should no. Her response was I didn't see it. Not happy with that then when we ordered a combo meal there was an item not on but they assured us they would put extra on which they didn't. The waitress did offer a portion of chips instead but by then we had the meal and didn't want to wait any longer. Overall not impressed with Premier on this occasion

Nice clean room. Nice bed linens and towels but the bed was very uncomfortable. I like a firm mattress but this was flat and hard. Woke up with a very stiff back
I booked what I thought was a single room but got a room with two single beds and a double bed, so very little room in which to move around. I stayed there for one night because I was headed to the airport the next morning. I don't think I would stay here again

Close,clean but not so comfortable

Besides the room being very clean and the hotel in close proximity to most of our destinations, I cannot help but point out the issue regarding surfing online or using the web. The internet would be very slow and inefficient at times and occasionally not working. The most inconvenient problem was having to pay only for one device and not being able to access the internet on any other devices. Wifi could be made much easier.

Stayed here before and prefer South facility to North which seems to cater to teams etc. Our room's air conditioner didn't work this time, though a minor inconvenience.. and the vending machine was broken - not their fault. The desk clerk did give me a courtesy hour on the computer for my online flight check-in.

We booked in for one night. The room suited our purpose for a nights sleep before our long flight. The staff were very helpful. We had to wait for a seat in the restaurant but to be fair we had not booked in advance and the hotel was busy. Got an early taxi to our terminal which the staff booked for us. Would stay again.

Uncomfortable night at premier inn

Had a terrible night at this hotel recently. The room was very noisy because of poor quality windows. Could hear every car and plane passing outside as if there was no window at all. The floor was dirty and the interior extremely minimal. Far better hotels to find for the same price close to the airport. Will certainly book another one next time.

First time at this Premier Inn and not disappointed. Really handy for the airport and better value than the hotels around Terminal 3 (it takes about 5-10 mins from hotel to airport).My only problems was that I had forgotten my wash bag and they had no shaving cream, disposable shavers or toothpaste. There were tooth brushes in the dispensing machine... but it was not working!!

Great Option for Manchester Airport Stay

The hotel is close to the airport although there are closer but more expensive
Check in was a little complicated as they had not received my booking from Expedia as I made it last minute but Stuart on the front desk was great and got me in as quick as he could
Room was not as big as some of the other Premier but fresh and new feeling
Bathroom had a bath which for me was great
Breakfast great as all the premiers have full cooked for a good deal
The only thing is the internet was slow and as a paid service, although a good deal not a good service
But as I stay at Premiers all the time I will keep staying as the sleep quality is great

The hotel it self was as expected. Clean and every thing in its place. We had a meal there and this wasnt 5 star. But adequate for the price. If I had any complaints it would be that you have to pay £5.00 extra for the parking of the car over night. I think this should be included with the say. I can see the reason behind stopping people from just parking and flying. But to charge people who are staying the night is a little much.

Last minute booking.

Decided to avoid early morning traffic before holiday flight and booked the day before I went to the airport. Easy to book and find and close to the airport. The reception area was a bit strange, a small table, only identifiable because 2 reception staff were sat behind it. But staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and I wasn't disturbed by any noise from other rooms. I ate in the restaurant, the pizza was great and had a drink from the bar.Checkout was quick and easy.

Hotel good as usual. But the advertised \"0.9\" miles from the airport is totally misleading. You cannot walk it in less than 40 minutes and only safely in daylight. You need to pay £6 each way for the shuttle bus.

The hotel is so new that there were \"Wet Paint\" signs everywhere in the corridors. My room smelt of fresh paint and as the hotel is next to the motorway and in view of the airfield I couldn't sleep with the window open due to the noise. Parking is extra and there was no shaver point in the bathroom.

Good hotel, but no so good restaurant service

The room was above what I would expect for a Premier Inn, it was really comfy and clean in the room, and the black outs made it nice and dark for sleeping. Despite being close to the airport and motorway I heard hardly any external noise. I didn't hear the traffic and could only just about hear some of the larger planes but neither my partner nor myself were disturbed by it. The staff on the front desk were friendly and very helpful getting a booking for the restaurant sorted straight away when I arrived, and booking us a taxi to take us to the airport in the morning. I was disappointed that there was no shuttle bus to pick me up as I had read online but the hotel gave me the number for a taxi firm they use which was cheaper than getting a cab from arrivals. The thing that did annoy me was the restaurant. It was not very busy and yet we had to wait ages to be served, and after ordering we had only had a starter after 1 hour. We paid the bill, but then afterwards whilst we were relaxing on the sofas downstairs they came over to us because the payment 'hadn't gone through properly', which as it turned out meant that they had actually given us the wrong bill meaning my partner had to be refunded then pay again. This was very frustrating for my partner.

The hotel is only a short drive from the airport. Could be better signposted though as when you enter the postcode in a sat nav it doesn't really take you near. Easy to find parking directly outside. Only £5 for 24 hours All the staff were very friendly and welcoming from reception to breakfast which is nice when your staying on your own. The rooms were very clean and everything seamed to be fairly new. I stayed on the 2nd floor and there was a bit of road and plane noise but wasn't so much that it kept me awake at night! Would stay here again

I booked over the internet and was unaware there was 2 lodges north and south. The taxi drop me off at south with my 3 bags and I was at North.

The booking did say north but I thought that was the address.

The staff did help me walk over to the other site.

I felt there were a lot of extras to pay for especially internet this should be included.

A bit of a wait checking-in, only 1 person at check-in a busy airport hotel seems a litle short-sighted. Despite booking family room apparently that does't mean one with a sofa bed or 2nd bed so a bit of a mix-up there but they sorted it out.

I would suggest having madeup street maps for us drivers finding a long or short stay airport car park from the hotel please.

Having been tricked into staying at a Britannia Hotel on the way out of Manchester Airport (complete with fake photo on line) is was such a pleasure to get back to a Premier Inn on the way back. Room very satisfactory but the staff would get more than 10 out of 10 if it were possible. Despite my very late arrival they got me sorted by lending me an alarm clock, ordering food from outside and getting me on line in the bar.Brilliant and most helpful. Thankyou.

Stayed one night upon arriving in Manchester after a long day of travel from Alberta. It was a short taxi ride from Manchester Airport at a cost of six pounds sterling. Very welcoming and helpful staff, super comfortable beds, and surprisingly quiet. The only downside is the food quality of their restaurant, which was only fair.

Good position for Manchester Airport

Just a 3 pound ride away from the Airport although this is only Hotel to Airport and not in reverse. Taxi from Airport costs 6 pounds or catch a 44 bus!! Meal in evening was good and breakfast (from 5.30) was excellent so try and go for a 'meal deal' which includes a drink. Had a little problem with heating in room but besides that, good accommodation. But beware that they do not do 'wake up calls' and soon run out of their own alarm clocks!

Easy start to holiday

Booked the same day before flight the next day. Check in was easy and hotel to an excellent standard. Room was perfect with a view of the airport, clean and comfortable. Ordered food which was brought to the room so we didn't have to wait in the bar area for it. Easy to drive to T2 using the small service road from the hotel. Would certainly use again for future travel.

Very clean, polite and helpful staff, good food in the restaurant. There's also a Costa for coffee, sandwiches, etc. The hotel is very quiet for its location. Rooms have everything you need. Staff will get you a cab to the airport, reasonable cost as well. We stayed at the second Premier Inn just opposite this one but prefer this one. We've never had any problem with any Premier Inn. They are a bargain for the money.

Nice!

Great room...nice desk staff. Parking fee not listed as was the wifi fee. (neither huge but not listed) Overall great bargain compared to others we stayed in through our tour of UK.
Make note there are NO other restaurants walkable in the area. Either eat prior or pay hotel restaurant prices. Pizza was very good though!

very difficult to spot from the roundabout exit from freeway. really needs better signage.

Good for one night airport stay

Very basic but clean. Breakfast good. On arrival receptionist very helpful. Room only had one towel provided but another was brought quickly when staff informed.

Excellent stopover when using Manchester Airport

Excellent reception service. Couldn't be more helpful and nothing was too much trouble for her to resolve. We arrived tired after our flight and she was very helpful. Good room ,much upgraded from previous Premier Inn hotels we have visited. Friendly staff at breakfast.

Check in and out a quick and pleasant experience. Given a room for disabled people so plenty of room and very clean and comfortable. Have used this hotel before and always good.

Charge for everything

The room was very clean but there was a charge for EVERYTHING! To use the public computer and print off a boarding pass cost 3 pounds, to park a car cost 5 pounds, to have the hotel shuttle take you to the airport was 3 pounds per person, etc. It was ridiculous! Pretty much all you got for your money was a room and even then, for 2 people, they gave us one towel!

A good value airport hotel

There are three premier inns nearby & my GPS couldn't find this one. The road name didn't exist and roadworks also confused. The hotel is around the back of the airport & there is not much to see in the neighborhood. The rooms were decent, restaurant better than expected & service pleasant. There are other options close to the terminals but the premier inn represents better value. I would stay again.

great service

a great place to stay before flying out the next day. Staff were helpful and friendly. My youngest liked the flag badges they were wearing. Food in the restaurant was very good.
