The room was fine but I would recommend against staying here. I had paid for the room ahead of time but the staff insisted I hadn’t and charged me twice. When I proved I had paid twice they still made it a nightmare to get the money back. Very dishonest.

Everything aboutvthe hotel was good. I asked for them.to call me a cab to the airport and had a lovely private hire driver, however more expensive than the black cab i had taken feom the airport to the hotel. Not sure how that works. Staff was great.

The rooms was fantastic, large and clean, very comfortable bed and while it is a bit 'cookie cutter' in appearance, it's what you need to get a good nights sleep before a flight. The staff were good and the shuttle rocketed me on time so can't complain. Only 'negative' thing is that the hallways near the lifts/elevators could use some updating, otherwise, great place.

Stayed one night at at airport arrival. It was really close to the airport which was a great plus. Check in staff was super friendly. Restaurant was closed already but they offered late night pizzas, the pizza was really good haha. Room was spacious, big bathroom, they left a handwritten welcome note which was a really nice touch. Bathroom was good and clean. THE BED was awesome what a nice night sleep. Complete english breakfast, sausages, hash, beans, eggs, coffee, the full run. Def worth it if need to stay near the airport.

Pleasant and helpful staff

Stayed overnight prior to getting a flight. The hotel is comfortable and staff very friendly and helpful. Ate in the restaurant and Ali our waiter excelled with is friendliness and attention to detail he is a credit to your hotel. Would highly recommend a stay here for the airport.

Hotel close to airport

I stayed with my wife and our 5 year old daughter.
Upon arrival I was disappointed to find the car park to the hotel to be a \"pay and display\" car park. After paying a small fortunate for a one night stay I was expecting parking to be a pre-requisite and not an additional cost. The person on reception, when challenged, simply stated, \"we don't enforce it so it is up to you if you pay or not\". Very helpful.
The room was basic but was all we needed for an overnight stay. The room was very clean and well maintained. However, the water pressure in the shower left a lot to be desired.
Brakfast the following morning was a huge disappointment. We went down to the restaurant at around 7.45am to find the hot food wasn't hot. A lady seated near us actually complained and the response from the staff member was to arrogantly shout through the kitchen door, \"have you got a probe, the food's supposed to be cold\". After checks were completed it was promptly changed (no doubt to be reheated and put back out later). The food wasn't of a good quality. The majority was soaked in fat and the rest had dried in to a solid mass.
Not great. Happy we were only there for one night.

Relaxing overnight before travelling abroad

It was a pleasant experience for all the family .we booked the family room with the 2 double beds to relax before our next day flight . The room was very spacious& clean . Beds were comfy cosy and clean.and best of all was the bathroom .staff was very friendly and welcoming .I would definitely go again whenever I get a chance .,

Hotel located near airport

Early overseas flight determined a hotel close to airport.
Premier inn not the closest to airport but only takes 10 min cab or hotel shuttle ride.
Fortunately, good hotel lobby bar & decent restaurant as no other convenient places nearby unless traveling out by car / cab.

3 different dinner items were tasty & bit better than expected for short stay hotel.
Expect to pay for the convenience but our food was good.
Hotel was quite busy (Friday) & service time reflected that somewhat but staff were great.

Basic but clean & spacious room.
Mattress appeared to be a foam pad type, so again, basic comfort but it's a personal preference.

All in all acceptable stay / location.

1. Surprised that a hotel with five floors has only one luggage cart. 2. The coffee machine in the lobby was out of order. 3. When we ate in the hotel, two of the three draught beers were not working. 4. We understand the need to restrict the volume on the televisions, but they were so low, when we turned on the fan (it was very hot that date) we were unable to hear. 5. Since this is listed as an airport hotel, it would make sense for guests to be able to print their boarding passes. We were told we could not use the printer in the lobby.

Booked a room for a few hours before a connecting flight, close to airport, restraunt on site. Thought that was me sorted. Nightmare checking in as reservation couldn't be found, restraunt didn't open until 5pm, (we arrived at 2 n flight back out was at 8) so no hot food, room wasn't up to standards of other premier inn' so have stayed in before. Checked out within the hour and back to airport. Highly disappointing.

A good enough stay.

We arrive late in the evening. They told us that there was no paper work to suggest that we needed a cot for our small toddler. This being said, they got us one put in the room right away, before we even unpacked. The room was clean and a good temperature. Did find it a little inconvenient that there was no tub to bathe our little one in...as she will not go in the shower.
Would be an ok place to stay for a night before getting on a plane.

Stayed at this convenient hotel located close to manchester airport. We'd arrived back from mexico at around 7am and thankfully the lovely receptionist had let us check in at 8am as me and my partner were both totally exhausted and really appreciated the early check in. Located about a 5-10 min drive from the airport, you do have to pay for either a taxi, or a club car to get to-from the airport which costs around £6 a time. Don't think it'd be possible to walk. Staff all very friendly at this hotel. Would stay again for sure.

The Premier Inn is overall a really good choice, but their hotels at Manchester airport are further away from the airport as you first think when looking on the map. It's not just across the road as a map suggests, and you can't get there on foot. A taxi ride away -- one way fare- six pounds. It all adds up if you're hoping to go to/from the airport and/or go into Manchester city centre via the train as well...more taxis required. Once we adjusted our plans not to go into the city centre and found a super, great pub within walking distance of the hotel (The Romper) we had a very good overnight stay. Just thought it was worth flagging up about the location....there are other hotels closer to the actual airport if that's important to you! but that said, we would stay at Premier Inn again .

They discounted the price of breakfast as it was nearing 10:30 am and there 'wasn't much left' there was still a huge choice of delicious full English breakfast items.

Hotel is spotless and check in is seamless. Room is comfy and well presented. 2 things let it down, the Aircon that decided to switch on to heating in the middle of the night and the little green LED's from carbon monoxide detector that turn your room into a spaceship at night! Didnt get a wink of sleep, but as with any Premier Inn the offered me a full refund as both issues are common apparently. Breakfast was OUTSTANDING!

Nice welcoming staff, everything nicely set out.
Unfortunately my room was directly above the reception and adjacent to the lifts so i could hear a reasonable amount of noise through the night, music and general chat in the reception, taxis dropping off/picking up(engines running) and could always tell who got in/out of the lift with a suitcase.
I was slightly disappointed with the bed comfort, i was expecting a lovely soft mattress as the adverts advertise, it wasn't!
Food was great and service and the staff were fantastic!
For a one night cheap stop over it was fine, if i was stopping longer i'd be looking elsewhere.

There are two Premier hotels side by side. We were in Premier South, and it was pleasant. Extremely busy... but surpisingly quiet. Parking was 5 pounds payable on site... Beds were a little hard, but the rooms were quiet and clean. Priced the same as onsite airport hotels, which is probably the only negative. Would recommend.

Night before the Flight

No complaints about the room. Had a really good night a sleep. However, having decided to have our evening meal at the hotel, the service let it down. No complaints whatsoever about the quality of the food but unfortunately the service left a lot to be desired. We were asked by reception at what time we would like to eat and we we were seated at the right time. However, we then waited 45 minutes for our meal to arrive. When I questioned why we were waiting so long, I was informed it was because we did not order a starter! The couple at the adjoining table waited more than an hour. They had ordered a starter share!! The waitress said they were unusually busy. Just not good enough.

Very convenient for getting to the airport, about a 5 minute drive in the shuttle. It cost £3 per person each trip. Comfortable, clean room and bed. Did not have breakfast. Was a little noisy as you could hear people in the corridor but did not disturb our sleep. Good choice for staying near the airport at a good price.

The walk to the hotel was further than expected as the only direct route from the hotel is via an obscure exit in T3.

The staff were helpful and friendly and were happy to arrange a taxi for our 06:15 departure as the bus service was limited at this hour.

Not close to the airport so you can take a bus, but only if the driver stops for you since there is not an official stop for the hotel. A taxi is probably best. A shuttler is available to the airport.

My room was quite clean but there was a musty smell in the room that was quite strong. Whilst all the staff was friendly, I was a single female travelling with a lot of baggage and not once did a single hotel representative offer to help me as I struggled with three large suitcases and a piece of hand luggage. It would have been nice if someone had even offered to hold the door... Overall, it was decent enough for the price but I've stayed at the one across the street (North) and I preferred that one.

Found it no problem with the GPS. There are two Premier Inns at this address so make sure you know which one you are booked into. Staff were friendly....I arrived at the start of half term so the place was jumping! Was told I had a 40mins to be served dinner so got the staff to book me a table at the other hotel across the road which they did without any fuss, and a 3 minute walk later I was sitting down. Dinner was good, staff were pleasant. Room was spacious and bed comfortable. Didn't do breakfast. Would use it again for airport travel....would think twice if it was a romantic break unless you are a plane spotter! :-)

Noisy, got no sleep.

We were given the room above the kitchen, could here pots and pans clanking, staff singing and listening to the radio until 2am. Then breakfast started at 5am! Did not sleep all night!
Staff were really nice and friendly but would not stay in that room again!

Am normally a fan of Premier Inn's but this was nothing more than average compared to others.The big thing going for it is location but the room wasn't great-it was freezing cold when we arrived- for some reason the air conditioning had been left on full blast and also having a sink in bedroom separate to the shower and toilet is quite frankly a stupid design.If you want somewhere to stay before or after your holiday then then there are other choices-this wouldn't be my first!!

Stay was very good, reception staff very helpful and informative. Use the bar and service for drinks and food was quick. Only down side was on arrival at train station (evening) that there was no premier inn shuttle service at that time in the evening. My reason for booking with you was that your web site stated shuttle service, possible you need to make your shuttle service times more aware for potential customers. Overall it was a great stay.....many thanks

I think it's normally ok.This hotel doesn't provide shuttle from Manchester Airport to the hotel, but I saw the shuttle timetable in the Airport and the hotel asked me take a taxi when I told it I am waiting for their shuttle.

bit disappointed at the fact that we had to take a taxi to the airport due to the fact that the site showed it to be under a mile which we would normally have no problem walking after breakfast. Fabulous!

I wasnt expecting too much from this hotel but it exceeded my expectations for a premier inn. Staff lovely at check in, room very large and beds huge and comfortable. Also very modern bathroom. Very close to airport so was ideal for arriving on a late night from spain. Didnt have breakfast so cant comment but would stay here again, definately.

A quiet hotel ideal before the stresses of flying

One of the very best stays we have had in the UK. Fabulous night sleep, expected it to be noisy next to the airport. Great fully proved wrong. Had the meal deal, 3course dinner with a drink, and breakfast. Extreme good value and excellent food. Definitely going back whenever flying out.

Premier prices is more like it

We won't stay here again and if I had read all posted reviews we wouldn't have in the first place. The shuttle isn't free folks! You are better off getting a taxi if there are more than two passengers going to the airport as the shuttle charges per person. The restaurant staff was either friendly or competent... You can't have both, sorry. So a very nice waitress will get you half of your order in 60 minutes if you like to dine separately from your party. You pay a hefty charge per day and per DEVICE for wifi. By the way in our travels over Great Britain this was the only hotel that charged guests for Wifi access. Save your money and stay elsewhere.

We travelled up from Dorset to attend a wedding and from the moment that we arrived, the reception staff could not have been more helpful. Excellent service on 8th and 9th of November. Bedroom was large, clean and comfortable. Strange having the washbasin in the bedroom rather than with the shower and loo we thought. Very good quietness policy the the hotel- pity people didn't keep it up outside reception because our bedroom was directly over the entrance and we could hear noise of people coming and going and smoking outside. Breakfast very good. Food hot, and on the Sunday morning one of the waiting staff brought my fried eggs out when I wanted them. Would stay again if up on another trip.

The first thing I look for in a hotel is the cleanliness and this certainly was!! Surprisingly I couldn't hear the planes flying over being so close to the airport. The staff are very friendly and helpful, definitely worth the money and I have no complaints. I definitely will be using this hotel again for future holidays away :)

Most staff were excellent and Steve was particularly kind, but there were problems with the booking procedure. A young relatively inexperienced male staff member at reception assured us we had not paid for online bookings, so we paid (again), but later (with a more experienced receptionist) we found that a second online booking done at the same time on the same site as the first was indeed paid for, in accordance with our understanding. This was not a situation which gave us confidence in Premier, caused some inconvenience, and detracted from the enjoyment of the stay. In addition, I paid for a minimal croissant and coffee breakfast, but the waiter whispered to me that no-one would notice if I ordered hot food like my friend. Is that the way to run a business?

Overall A Disappointing Experience

No phones in rooms. Dirty laundry bins up and down the corridors. Staff unhelpful except for restaurant staff who stayed and talked much too long. Mirror not in bathroom. Hair dryer not in bathroom. Four or five channels. Vending machines limited choices and no other food around unless the Bistro, and then not until 5pm. Overall, a Disappointing day and night at your hotel.

Checked in around 10pm and were greeted by friendly staff that checked us in and signed us up for a shuttle ride at 5:30am the following morning. The room was comfortable, clean and was perfect for a rest before an early morning flight. When we woke up the next morning, we came downstairs to find our shuttle driver waiting for us. He helped us with our bags and got us safely to the airport for our flight. Overall, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone needing a place to stay before or after a flight.

Convenient for airport

Watch out for there being two Premier Inns right across from each other. It was pouring with rain and typically I picked the wrong one first. Hotel was OK and good for airport as we had an early flight. Hotel got me a taxi at 7.00am which I had booked but wasn't there. They called and it showed up in 5 mins. 6 pounds to terminal 3 with wife and 2 kids plus 7 bags. Room was OK, no clock was a pain. Made me keep waking up and checking my phone so as not to miss flight.

Enjoyable dinner and breakfast.

Did the job as we were flying home from Manchester airport next day. A problem was that heating regulator had been damaged and fell off wall when touched. It was after 10.30PM, were in PJs and so too much hassle to contact desk. However, wish we had, as room was too hot for sleeping well. Told desk next day and told they could have provided a fan but that would have been a noisy solution. There was some road noise from the busy road which wasn't a problem for us but might be for others.

Good hotel close to airport with shuttle service.

Reception staff very polite and helpfull. The meal that I had was quick to arrive, well presented, and delicious. The room once again was cleen, tidy, and comfortable as always with your chain, even down to the shuttle service.

Fitted the bill for an airport hotel

Fitted the bill for an airport hotel.Fast efficient check in and check out.Rooms were comfortable and clean and no hotel noise.Aware of some traffic noise from the M56 but not intrusive.Onsite parking was an additional charge.Breakfast was served from 5.30am.5 minute drive to Jetparks without requiring to go back on the main road.Airport transfers available for an additional charge

\"Quiet Area\" not observed by other guests

No phones in rooms, but were allowed to use desk phone. Graciously moved to 2nd room, when 1st room in \"Quiet Area\" was not quiet. Staff polite and helpful. Restaurant was pricey. \"Free Wi-Fi\" was not working and this was inconvenient for us.

Comfortable and clean. Charge car parking fee and wifi limited to half hour. Charge airport transfer at GBP3 per head.

nice hotel apart from breakfast

We only stayed as a stopover for the one night everything was fine apart from the breakfast,there were no eggs when they did appear on the counter they were rock hard and full of shell the hash browns were soft and soggy full of oil,on getting a teapot ,went to put in the hot water and it had a mouldy teabag left inside most disappointing have stayed in lots of premier inns around the uk always looked forward to the lovely breakfast, or yes and my daughter has just reminded me she took a croissant that was rock hard
