The room was clean, property and rooms are outdated and the elevator was dirty. The room had a weird smell to it. I had to sleep with the window open to let fresh air in. Also the elevator was not up to code, the inspection expired in May. But it got the job done for a one night stay.

We booked two rooms and stayed on the second floor. One of our rooms smelled heavily of dog urine. At night, you can loudly hear the people in the rooms above any time their beds moved or even if they were walking. It was so loud that the walls would rattle. I don't think they were being any louder than a normal person, i just think the rooms are not very sound insulated. The mattresses were extremely hard and the pillows were very hard and very flat. Did not catch when I booked this that they have no breakfast. Would not book again.

Okay we travelled all day very tired. Check in was the best ever had. So excited to get to bed. Open the room door well I had a room that was nice and dirty used bed. Dirty towels on the floor trash in the trash cans. They gave us a room that was never cleaned after the last people. Went to the counter the lady was very nice gave us a new room. Told me where to locate the ice machine. New room was very clean the ice machine was not working at all and it must not have been working for some time. No water around the machine from ice no noise from machine.
But the staff was wonderful just disappointed and was very tired

The first issue I have is that I spoke to three different staff members--on the phone and in person--and each person was minimally communicative, bordering on rude. I grant that it is probably a hard job, but it would likely be a little more enjoyable (for everyone!) if the staff smiled and acted a little more welcoming. It is still a choice to stay at your hotel, and I know I would pay a little extra to go down the street if the staff is more friendly. I will say that as we were finding our room, there were a couple members of the housekeeping staff, and they were both pleasant and asked if we needed any assistance.

The second issue was a lack of basic amenities. While I understand that this is considered a \"low-budget hotel\", it was still almost $150 a night, and for that price I am surprised that the rooms had really horrible pillows, dirty carpet, no refrigerator, no microwave, and not even a box of tissues--just a travel tissue pack. Not having a refrigerator is a little more understandable, as those use electricity just to stay cold, but a microwave is neutral unless it is being used. The bedding at least was clean, but I kept my flip flops on the entire time because the floors all looked suspiciously unkempt.

I will not be recommending this hotel to anyone, and next time we are at SeaTac looking for a decent night's sleep before an early flight, we will choose a hotel that has a little more comfortable atmosphere.

I liked how close the airport was to the Link station/airport. But that's it. Although this hotel has adopted a policy where housekeepers only clean rooms upon request, one such request I made went unfulfilled on Saturday 6/20 at around 11am. With this hotel (as well as the others in the Seattle region) deliberately inflating prices for guests staying during the World Cups, you would think that fulfilling requests made would be the very least they would do.

Unfortunately the smell upon walking in was a combination of sewage and cigarettes, the first room they gave us on the 1 st floor was terrible, smell was unbearable, mildew/damp/sewage smell with combo cigarette smoke, even though it is supposed to be a smoke free hotel. After complaining, they moved us to the second floor, which was better and it looked cleaner; however it still smelled. The fitted sheets and cover sheet were stained. If it wasn’t for the smell, I would have rated it a 3. I wasn’t concerned that it was not a newer hotel, it is just obvious it is not maintained and photos cannot describe the smell.

the Staff checking us in was wonderful. And the room was definitely CLEAN! And smelled wonderful! And I want to Thank you for allowing our dog to be with us.
The air conditioning was a little too cold after we were in the room for 1/2 hour to an hour. I tried turning it down but it must have been on AUTO.
We have a big F450 so the parking was okay!

But there is a sign in the room on the sink saying that if we wanted new towels to throw the ones we used in the tub. In which I did and we were gone all day. But it also needs to say that we needed to call the front desk and request someone to come clean our room. I didn't find that in any of our papers that I copied off, either. And so we left earlier than we normal would have.

Can't expect alot at only $100/nite and that's about what the room was worth. Very noisy not only from the adjacent lot but also from the thermostat since it would buzz loudly whenever the heat or air came on. The room was a good size but there was only one small trash can by the television and not even one in the bathroom or sink or eating area. Also, the television channels would occasionally black out for a few seconds. However the staff was friendly, the room didn't smell any worse than other cheap rooms do, and it was a good size.

We requested they provide more towels (we wanted a shower after 3 days on a train). They finally brought one towel at 11 pm. The next morning I requested a couple more towels from cleaning staff and was told they didn't have any. However, she scavenged some from someone else's room.

My experience at the Red Roof Inn near Seattle Airport was very good. Although the hotel is an older property, it is clear that it has been renovated. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and were very clean throughout my stay. The air conditioning appears to be new and worked perfectly, and the carpeting also looks recently replaced and well maintained.

One of the hotel’s biggest advantages is its excellent location. It is only about 5 minutes from the rental car facility and approximately 10 minutes from the airport, making it a very convenient option for travelers. In addition, there are several nearby stores, restaurants, and services that make the stay even more convenient.

Overall, it offers an excellent balance of value, comfort, and location. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a practical and comfortable stay near Seattle Airport. 100% recommended.
