This ski hotel is set in what is probably Zermatt's best location. It offers breathtaking views over the rooftops of the village and of the King of the Alps: the Matterhorn.

With its spectacular tunnel entrance by elevator, the hotel is just a 5-minute walk from the village. Zermatt's train station is just 300 m from the accommodation.

This hotel offers a total of 75 beds in 37 different guest rooms. The many services available at this hotel include a hotel safe, lift access, a bar, a panoramic terrace, the Gourmetstöbli restaurant and room service.

All rooms have been furnished in a cosy manner and are en suite and include a hairdryer and bathrobes. In-room facilities include a direct dial telephone, cable TV, a radio, a minibar and a safety deposit box.

Guests are invited to find some relaxation after an adventurous day in the cosy spa area with its breathtaking views over Zermatt and the Matterhorn. Guests can treat themselves to a massage after a strenuous day of sports.

The spa area is approximately 180 m² and features 2 saltwater hot tubs (36 degrees centigrade), a Kneipp corner with air massage, sun loungers and a relaxing seating area. A Finnish sauna with a crushed ice fountain, a steam bath and adventure showers - including tropical rain and thunder storm - as well as a recreation room with warm water beds can all be found in a separate area and are available for all guests over the age of 15.

The hotel offers bed and breakfast stays, with a breakfast buffet being served each morning.

Spotless room, very kind staff, great location. The only problem was that when we came back one night to the hotel on Saturday at 21:00, we requested to charge our electric car and the staff had no clue what the procedure was and how to activate the charging station and he told us he did not have information which was unacceptable.

Front Desk is UNmanned on weekend! Advance requests in resaervation were NOT fulfilled. Guest room floor was filthy...could hear the dirt and stones beneath shoes while walking around. Pillows are lumpy. Church bells (every :15 minutes, and all night) kept us from sleeping. Cold breakfast buffet was very nice. But will not stay here again.

Nice size room. Very comfortable bed. Extra choice of pillows upon request (aloe, visco, etc. I asked for two different kinds and my request was fulfilled even though it was already late at night). Gluten free bread upon request. Nice breakfast. Also enjoyed their El Toro restaurant for dinner, and the staff was very nice. Wonderful shower. Very nice amenities (nespresso machine with complimentary pods; big bottle of water, and more). Nice design for the room.Would have been nice to have a small fridge in the room. Little hanging space, but ample drawer space. 40 minutes outside Zurich and 40 minutes outside Luzern. Free parking either on the street in front, or in the hotel's garage. When the window was open, it was quite noisy from the highway, but when closed, you could barely hear any noise. TV with many channels. At 11.01 (checkout time is 11.00) the key no longer works, so don't count on being able to make an extra trip to your car, because you won't be able to come back up. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back if we need to be in this area.

Stayed one night for business. The hotel is new and in excellent condition. Very friendly staff, super breakfast. The only thing that bothered me a bit was the cooking smell coming up to my room, when I opened the window (first floor) and some noise from the kitchen. I guess this won't be the case in other rooms.

Modern, sauber, top. Aber laut.

Sehr modernes, sauberes, helles Hotel. Personal durchweg freundlich. Einziges Manko: es liegt direkt an der Straße und ist doch sehr laut. Bei warmen Wetter hat man somit die Wahl im Zimmer Nachts einen Hitzeschlag zu bekommen, oder die halbe Nacht bei offenem Fenster nicht schlafen zu können.

Parfait pour une nuit sur la route du retour de vacances. Très bon accueil et chambre impeccable. J’aurais aimé une table de nuit mais sinon, tout est parfait.

조용하고 한적한 위치에 있고, 주변 경치가 훌륭합니다
하지만 가축 배설물 냄새가 가끔씩 강하게 나와서 살짝 불쾌했습니다
전반적으로 객실은 깔끔했지만, 유럽 대부분 호텔 오리털 이불인데, 여기는 그렇지 않아서 살짝 부담스러웠습니다
객실 넓고, 하늘을 볼수 있는 작은 방이 따로 있어서 운치 있었습니다

Das Hotel ist modern ausgestattet, die Zimmer waren sehr sauber und das Personal sehr freundlich.

In den Zimmern fehlte mir ein Nachtschränkchen und es war sehe laut, da auch in der Nacht alle 15 Min die Kirchenglocken läuteren. Bei geschlossenen Fenster sind diese aber weniger zu hören aber bei den Temperaturen muss man das Fenster (keine Klimatisierung im Zimmer) geöffnet lassen.
