Very cool hotel. Glass everywhere, so you get great views pretty much wherever you are. Many doorknobs and chandeliers are made with everyday objects which was funky and fun. When we arrived in our room, our luggage was already there after dropping off earlier in the day, and we had 2 chocolates and a mini prosecco on ice awaiting us.

I enjoyed the spa but can see why some folks don't. Even if you're not into the pods (which were much more like an interactive art exhibit with meditative qualities), the sauna, cold plunge and outdoor hot tub are stellar. There were thoughtful touches everywhere from the fresh fruit and tea selection, to the racks to hang your robe/towel while you go from one station to the next.

The real standouts here are the service and breakfast. This was easily the most welcomed we felt in our 9-day trip across Switzerland. The breakfast was a nice mix of self-service and full service with some menu items made fresh (e.g. pancakes, omelette, etc.). They had the best selection of fruit we encountered at any hotel, and the local baked goods were divine.

My only complaints were the bed and pillows weren't comfortable for me, and the layout of the room meant the in-room bathroom wasn't as private as I would like because it's built as a sub-room inside the main living space, thus wasn't soundproofed. Could be awkward depending on who you're traveling with.

All-in-all, a truly boutique and one-of-a-kind stay.

Excellent stay for my family in Zermatt. Location was perfect. The Spa was a huge highlight. The whole family loved it and it was quite unique and special with views of the Matterhorn. What a wonderful place to relax after long travels and hikes. Beautiful property. Would love to stay again. And the breakfast was very good!!

This was such a wonderful hotel with a truly unique room. We felt surrounded by windows, allowing us to fall asleep under the stars, with a moon-shadowed Matterhorn outside, and wake up to breathtaking views. The staff was incredibly helpful and eager to assist us. It was a special birthday celebration for my daughter, and they thoughtfully had a “Happy Birthday” sign and balloons waiting for her when we arrived. The room was beautifully decorated, making it even more memorable. We can't wait to stay here again!

A few seconds walk from Zermatt train station.
We stayed in the Stars Suite for two nights.
I cannot think of one negative thing that anyone could say about this hotel, the spa or the staff. The welcome was so wonderful, the apartment was top drawer, the spa (day 5 and day 7 were my favourites) is an experience to really indulge in. The view of the Matterhorn…!!
Breakfast is even better than you can imagine. Then on your doorstep are many many fabulous bars, restaurants, boutique shops and stores.
No cars, no trucks only yodelling electric tuk tuks! Absolute bliss.

I loved this property. They are centrally located in the middle of town. Close to train station (but their shuttle will come get you) and between the two lift locations. I walked each day to the lifts but there is a town shuttle however the walk was beautiful and just as quick. Each evening I enjoyed the onsite hotel tub and spa amenities. There is a wonderful breakfast that is the cherry on top for this property.

They have a fantastic spa too which we did not have time to visit but it looked truly exceptional.

Absolutely lovely stay in the family suite. The staff stored our luggage for us, when we arrived earlier than expected. The welcome tea was a wonderful surprise, and the breakfast was great. the room was beautiful, and very clean. My kids loved the use of the hot tub and cold plunge. Where do I start. We had booked for two nights but got hit with an incredible, once in a century, snowstorm. This led to nearly 2 days of no electricity and three days of no trains leading to us needing to stay four nights instead.

I can’t praise the management and staff enough for the care, service and hospitality they showered on us. What could have been a nightmare turned in to an unforgettable experience and we can’t thank them enough.

Very nicely decorated, soft sheets, very good breakfast, very centric location. The staff were very friendly, courteous and helpful, including the bed breakfast staff. And Carmen at the front desk was great! She gave us great recommendations! Freshly squeezed OJ! Good variety of food items. The bed was very comfortable, amazing views from the deck. The spa was fantastic too and it was included. We had daily beverages in our bedroom and snacks and it was included too. We would definitely stay there again. And needless to say, Zermatt was just amazing!

We loved the hotel. The room was amazing, with views of the Matterhorn and staff were always helpful. I would have given a 5 star rating, however, some of the blinds and windows were broken and the room was advertised as the Sky and Stars suite, yet some roof windows wouldn't open and were clearly broken and some of the roof blinds were either missing or broken and unable to open, one of them directly above the main bed.

The hotel is very well located and easy to access from the shuttle station on foot with suitcases. Our room had a terrific view of the Matterhorn.
The staff were very courteous and the included breakfast was sufficient.
The air conditioning lacked power to cool the room in the heat of summer but it was better than no A.C at all.
Would return to the same hotel in the future.

Great location, not so great hotel

I wanted to love this hotel, but found it to be very awkward and in need of a deep clean and paint job, It is very quirky (which I think is part of the appeal) and was confused by the theme. The kitchen in our sweet was kind of dirty and the shower needed a deep clean. The walls are scuffed and you can tell that the people who stay here \"use it hard\". The air conditioning was very ineffective with the roof being made out of glass. The front desk staff was not very informative as to area hiking and the like. The man who checked us in was very nice and there was a woman at breakfast every morning (Martha or Marcia) who was the best employee/most helpful that we encountered. More helpful than the front desk. I would choose another place to stay should I visit again.

Enjoyed our stay here as it was central to downtown Zermatt. The breakfast buffet included was nice and so was the spa access inclusion for guests. The room, was ok. Beds were comfortable. The complaint is in the layout of the room - it’s small and there is no privacy from the bathroom to the bedroom which makes it uncomfortable if you’re staying with others. The patios are very close to one another and that also makes it very uncomfortable if you have people who smoke staying next to you. The deck outside of our room felt unsafe to be on, it definitely needs to be repaired before someone gets hurt and the room air conditioning was the worst I’ve experienced for the price I payed for the hotel. Otherwise - staff were great, super kind.

What a fabulous hotel. Beautifully designed with great attention to design detail. Superb location, very comfortable rooms. We unfortunately didn’t have time to use the spa but it looked lovely. One minor point was that the bath towels were a bit on the small side, which was slightly at odds with the general opulence of the hotel. The staff were charming, capable and friendly.

We (my wife, me and our dog!) stayed for two nights in one of the suites on the top floor - the room was massive and had amazing views! It was quite handy having a kitchen plus a nice telescope. We used the spa too which was great. Breakfast was nice and the property is centrally located. They also provided a shuttle to and from the station free of charge. Would highly recommend staying here!

My partner and I enjoyed this hotel. Upon check-in, we were greeted with a glass of Prosecco while the staff delivered out bags to our room. We stayed in the cube suite. While unconventional (elevated loft in the center of the room with an open concept bathroom below) the room layout did grow on us. Although, the large bathtub does not fill fast enough at all. The large balcony was amazing. The themed spa was also very enjoyable but it is only open from 1pm-9pm which is a bit limiting. The quality of the hotel (room and spa) was slightly below a true luxury hotel, but we enjoyed our stay very much.

The hotel is beautiful and has delicious restaurant. But service is so poor, I think they overwork their workers. Cause people are really nice, but look extremely busy most of the time. Also it was problems with the heat in our room, it was super annoying. And design is great, but not for a vacation. It was really annoying to get to restroom in our room and floors are cold. I would recommend it for pictures and restaurant, but not for a stay.

The receptionists Benjamin and Anna were absolutely fantastic! They were warm, friendly & approachable from the moment we stepped in the hotel. We knew what was expected and details were given.

The facilities were amazing! We had welcome drinks on arrival. The interior design is beautiful and unique.
The spa area is well maintained. The room was cosy and had a fire place. Perfect setting for the nice winter visit!
Breakfast was lovely.
The woman that served breakfast was very nice and checked if we had any dietary requirements, and we did.

The Portuguese driver/porter was very helpful and friendly!
He patiently waited on us at the train station.

My Wife and I stayed here to celebrate my wife's Birthday.
I pre booked a Cake and Bubbly on arrival, we were warmly greeted by a very friendly Man called Daniel, who welcomed us in the most amazing way, we were given a glass of Bubbly while Daniel in the most professional manner arranged for the cake and bubbly to be placed in our AMAZING ROOM......Daniel is an Amazing person and made us feel so very welcome, was extreemly helpful on all fronts, breakfast was also wonderful, service first class, location could not be better....what else can I say....but I will end by saying

Since I arrived during night time, the night time receptionist was a bit rude when I tried to call in for taxi puckup service at train station. Room setup was not very user friendly but acceptable. Having said that, services by other staff were fine. Since there're so many hotels to choose from in this area, can consider other options.

Unique, beautifully designed and elegantly appointed place to stay. My husband and I travelled with our sons 9 and 11. Our suite was lovely and spacious with great attention to detail. Cleverly designed with a small sitting room behind which is the master bath ..above which is the king size bed . Set up like a luxurious loft. Our boys had great fun in their bunk beds with separate bathroom facilities including a shower at the level of the upper bunk!

Their spa is wonderful to enjoy a dry or steam sauna as well as their large jacuzzi. Unfortunately, time was too short to make use of meditation room or floating room!

We were greeted warmly by staff who had arranged for us to be picked up at the train station. We were a bit early and our room was not yet ready so he graciously offered to care for our bags while we went to visit the Matterhorn by cable car. When we returned several hours later, our bags were already in our room. Also in the room ws complimentary water and fruit.

Staff was very gracious and knowledgeable about the surrounding area.

Breakfast was delicious! The warm hospitality was much appreciated.

I stayed in the top floor front view overlooking a busy street and tennis court, with unobstructed view of the valley and mountain. It is be perfect if it is winter.
Close to train station and shopping area.
Tried to leave comment in tripadvisor but cannot find it.

Funky Rooms

The room was very funky and interesting but not very functional. There was definitely a cool factor, but the bath area was totally in the open in the room so very noisy when one was using the toilet, sink or shower.

Good hotel, the staff were very helpful and knowledgeable.
Room was ok. A little on the tight side. Overall good experience though.

Though the weather was not perfect, thankfully, we could see the Matterhorn from the balcony in the morning!
It's a shame if we knew there was spa we would have brought our swim suits!!

Hotel was very clean and nice. Think we made a choice that wasn’t great because it didn’t match what we were looking for, but that was our fault not hotel fault. Style is not our style. Very non traditional and we would have liked more traditional.
