Some of the best service I’ve ever received anywhere in the world. Upscale but very comfortable. Staff are friendly and exceptionally helpful. The layout of the hotel and amenities was very convenient. The location close to the gondola is also nice.

We had a brilliant time celebrating my husbands 50th birthday. The staff were very attentive and ready to help in any way they could. The shuttle cars from the station were great to transport our luggage. Highly recommend Grill Cervin, the lamb was to die for! We’d come back in a heartbeat

The hotel is absolutely beautiful, nicely renovated, extremely comfortable and has all the modern conveniences. The only slight disappointment was the restaurant. It was too brightly lit, lacking ambiance and the service was disappointing.

The property is gorgeous! What makes this property stand out is the exceptional service from the staff. From the concierge desk, to the reception staff to the spa/pool desk attendant, to the restaurant servers and management to the shuttle service, we received truly excellent care and attention. The property was nice. I was very disappointed in my check in. I reserved and paid for 3 rooms. I was traveling with a group of 6 ladies. I had to check us all in as I had reserved and paid for the rooms. The other rooms were available on arrive and on the 5th floor with a lovely view of the mountains. My room wasn't available for a couple of hours and I was put in a room on the second floor overlooking the roof of the property. I was never asked if I wanted one of the nicer rooms. I'm glad my traveling friends got a super nice room but was very disappointed in my room. Bathroom was half the size of the others as well. I asked to be moved to the same floor the others were on but was told it would be an additional $1000 swiss francs. They knew we were traveling together. I thought this could have been handled better. The receptionist was a very sweet person and the manager, who I asked to speak with was also professional and nice. I was just disappointed they didn't make accomodations for my request.

Decent rooms and service. No AC so very warm in August. They try to overcharge. When we wanted an extra night first they quoted over 600 CHF. On expedia i got it for half. That upset them now thay want to charge CHF 150 as they calim we are two persons. On expedia price for single or double occupancy is the same. BEWARE.

The hotel staff was wonderful! We had our 5 month old with us and the staff was incredibly accommodating. They handled all of our luggage and provided us with a crib, bedding for the crib, toys and bath products for the baby. The concierge was amazing! they helped us book dinner reservations every night, and assisted us in touring the area. I would gladly stay here again

This is the first time I feel that it´s important to write a review regarding my stay in a hotel.
I consider that my husband and I are very frequent travellers, and have stayed in many 5-star hotels, some being part of Leading Hotels of the World, in Europe, America and Asia.
We made a reservation for dinner at the Hotel´s Restaurant for 12 people for a special celebration.
We got there on time, and they seated us in front of the grill, and the weather had been extremely hot. We asked if they could arrange a different seating, and they responded it was not possible. Then my brother-in-law told the host that in that case, we would leave, because it was impossible to eat with that heat so close to the table. After saying that he responded they could arrange for a table outside, in their less formal restaurant.
When we got there, the waiters were fixing the tables to accomodate us, being a party of 12 is not easy. While doing this, the host from this restaurant started to complain to the other waiter about seeting us there.
We sat down and it took a long while before anyone came to the table and asked if we wanted something to drink, to start with. We had to call the waitress. They did not put any napkins, silverware, or anything to make us feel like we were going to have dinner.
When we finally were able to place the order for dinner, we asked for several appetizers, and then the main courses.
We had to wait a long long time, before getting any bread on the table.

The hotel was very comfortable and the location in the middle of town was convenient to everything. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay special. We were given an upgrade to a junior suite (without asking), chocolates and fruit in our room and the concierge was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about what to do in the area. We called ahead and were given instructions on where to park and it could not have been easier.The breakfast buffet was included and had a very nice selection and the option to order an omelet, waffle, etc. Overall, a fantastic hotel and wonderful experience.

Lovely place we wished we had more time there! While some hooligans were very loud on the Main Street of Zermatt at about 3:30 AM which woke us up and required us to shut our windows, that was not the fault of the hotel and we loved every minute of it.

One of the best hotels we have stayed at! Staff was extremely helpful and professional, location is central, rooms are clean and the pool area is outstanding. Their service is unmatched. They took care of every little detail for our comfort. They had sent an electric taxi for pick up, and the taxi driver ended up charging us 17fr. At checkin they inquired how our ride was and in conversation it was mentioned that the hotel pays for it. They quickly applied that as a credit to our account and apologized. Their checkout gestures were just as amazing. We got to ride on a horse carriage and received a small sample of local tea. It is these little things that make home away from home experience possible. There was nothing that we would change about our stay, in fact they went above and beyond all our expectations. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Zermatt.

Beautiful time in Zermatt

The Mont Cervin Palace is a wonderful place to stay. My husband, myself and our 11 year old son enjoyed every moment. We ate every day at the hotel (a lovely large breakfast) and went skiing every day. The hotel staff was attentive, helpful and made our trip very enjoyable. It was easy to rent equipment at the hotel. The heated pool is a great way to end the day before dinner. We can not wait to return to Zermatt and stay at the hotel again :))

Alpine for One Room

I was traveling solo, so because I didn’t need a huge room, I opted for an Alpine for One room. Not only was the price significantly better than a regular room, but there was also availability during high season where there was not for a regular room. The room was indeed small, but definitely adequate considering I wasn’t going to spend much time in my room anyway. Though I didn’t have a Matterhorn view, the view of the town and the surrounding mountains was still lovely to wake up to (see picture). Service at the hotel was amazing - thank you to the sweet concierge Max who had to deal with my changes, appointments, and questions during my visit, and to the ski concierge (doubled as a regular concierge some days, but unfortunately I’ve forgotten his name), who really made the whole rental process a breeze. Room service was delicious and prompt. Breakfast buffet was wonderful! After traveling and being in the cold/dry mountains, my sinuses were acting up, so upon request, they sent up a humidifier for my room and an instant hot water pot for tea, etc. Two small complaints: 1) I had the same complaint as other guests which was that the rooms were boiling hot at night. I had to sleep with my window open to cool it down. 2) to take service up a notch, the hotel should use their own taxis as free ski taxis in the morning and afternoons. Getting back and forth to the mountain was a pain for this American who is used to ski on/ski off. All said, I wish I could’ve stayed longer! :))
