Me and my family had a marvelous stay at Jolimont Apartments. Not only is the apartment clean and well stocked with essentials, the view from our room of the Matterhorn is breath-taking!

We are also very pleased with the assistance from Brigitte & Karin, who kindly helped us to book an early morning taxi to the train station.

I highly recommend this hotel apartment if you want a cozy and family-like stay…

Jolimont was easy to walk to from the main train station, is located halfway between the two major ski lifts and within a minute has restaurants, bars, bakeries and a market and minutes from the main street with even more.

402 had a stunning view of the Matterhorn and from big picture windows and the lovely sun soaked balcony. Everything was clean and in perfect condition. Bed comfy, shower powerful, kitchen small but well appointed.

The boot room is accessed from outside, so if snowy you do need sliders rather than just sock feet to access.

Would definitely stay again.

This property doesn't provide etaxis to drop and collect from lifts like many hotels but there is a card in the room to call one if you prefer or the bus station is a short walk away.

Does not disappoint!

The apartment was very clean and comfortable. We arrived late, (trains!) so it was dark but nothing prepared us for the view out the large window! It literally shocked my wife when she woke up to see the Matterhorn front and center! Absolutely beautiful place and our stay was magical.

Location is tucked away a bit from the crowds so thats nice. There was no air conditioning and we had to open the windows to get air, mosquitos bit me most of the evening. Otherwise a pleasant stay. Check in process was smooth. They have laundry facilities but charge you in swiss coins which we had none of. Also, check out is 9am, which was super early for us. Facilities are clean. Check out desknis only open until 10am daily

Great property and fairly convenient location. About 10-15 minute walk to Sunnegga lift and about 5 minutes to the bus. Ski locker and boot room adjacent to entrance makes gearing up very straightforward. Property manager very professional and responsive. Only downside was a door lock that didn’t work. Was told that with Easter locksmith not available. Hopefully will be fixed for the next guest.

Relatively quiet at night which is better for getting a good night sleep and still just a short walk to all the restaurants and shops. This was a relatively good value compared to other options, though clearly still much more than other European ski destinations. I’d definitely consider staying here again if I return.

I had a great stay here and the view of the Matterhorn was breathtaking even from the 3rd floor. Everything was clean and updated. I would suggest to take a taxi from the train if you have heavy luggage. Overall I would stay here again

These apartments have all the essentials. The kitchen is well stocked, the bathroom fixtures are modern, the room is plenty large for 2 adults and an infant. The ski room is great for storing your equipment and easy to access. The hosts provide coupons to local businesses and attractions. Brigitte and Karin were very responsive to requests for information and committed to ensuring we had a good stay.

Jolimont was a great place to stay in Zermatt. The location could not have bee better and the layout of the apartment, along with the view of the Matterhorn was amazing!
Soaps or shampoos could have been provided and the check out time was very early, but other than those few things, our stay was great and I would recommend Jolimont to anyone going to Zermatt.

I stayed for 2 weeks in August 2021 at Jolimont Apartments. Brigitte and Karrin were very welcoming, communication before and as I arrived was excellent. During my stay I needed some printing done and some laundry this was taken care of for me. Location wise it is perfect everything was a 5-10 minute walk to the Main Street or lift system. The apartment was beautiful and spotlessly clean. Nice bathroom and kitchen with all utensils needed and the view of the Matterhorn must be one of the best views to wake up to each morning. I’d thoroughly recommend Jolimont Apartments to anyone visiting Zermatt.

Located in central Zermatt within walking distance to the trains and all conveniences. We found the two ladies who operate the hotel very friendly and helpful.

Check-in was easy. The room/apt was spacious, clean and had a great view. Well stocked with towels, dishes, a fridge and coffee maker. The management was very helpful when we took our lunch on the patio. This was one of our most impressive rooms we have rented in 45 years of travel. I give them a rating of 10.

Decent place but wouldn’t say it was 4 star. The room I booked was meant to have a Matterhorn view but was facing the wrong direction. The place had the standard facilities needed but was a little aged for what it was meant to be. There’s no reception and check in was a little difficult to arrange (you have to contact them to arrange it which I thought was strange and no email, only a phone number - would have been simpler to get confirmation details on email). Though the owner did check in to make sure everything was okay when the phone calls hadn’t worked. it was a bit expensive for what it was but nice enough. Was a bit further from the centre of town which I actually thought was better as it felt more peaceful and chilled and was easily accessible to everything.

Our apartment was spacious and better than expected. This is a modern and high quality building. There are some minor design errors in the room (like placement of bathtub faucet that makes taking a shower cumbersome), but overall, we loved the place and found it very comfortable, with a great balcony with a tremendous view of the Matterhorn.

Beautiful views and perfect location!

Amazing stay with a beautiful view of the Matterhorn. The owner was very kind and welcoming and we had everything we needed in order to make our stay comfortable with a 1 year old baby. Apartment is about 15 minute walk from train station and very close to the bus stop that takes you to the ski lift. Very comfortable stay, affordable price, would highly recommend. After a ten day trip we had lots of laundry that we didn’t want to haul back to USA, so paid a little extra and the owner did our laundry and made traveling back home a lot easier.

A tidy and cozy apartment, we were received by the hostess with warm introduction to the room. Our room was on the 2nd floor with Matterhorn view! Very clean and spacious. The kitchenette has all we need for cooking, however, knives could use a little sharpening, otherwise it was all good. They provide a range of cooking tools such as fondue sets and raclette machine free to use in the cabinet. Bathroom was s bit small for us but functional and well-kept. All in all, we had a nice weekend there.

This was the perfect place for our visit to Zermatt. Great view of Matterhorn from the room, we spent hours every evening just sitting in the room staring at the view and loved waking up to the sun rise on Matterhorn. Great location, walking distance to all cable cars and train station.

Comfortable home close to a good Matterhorn view

Five Star - the owner anticipated what travelers would need away from home. Well organized kitchen complete with condiments and utensils.

We arrived on a Sunday, the administration office was closed, but everything has already been prepared for us. There's a welcome guest book with our name and room number.

It's clean and quiet. House rules are very detailed and communicated well so other occupants will not make noise after 10 P.M.

Great hotel for skiers and family!

Having three rooms with three baths was a real plus for our family with grown kids. The ski room was very convenient. Of course, the view of the Matterhorn was so inspiring. I bet we took 100 photos from our balcony between our five cameras/phones! Really appreciated the kitchen for those meals we wanted to make ourselves. The dining table was great for card games and jigsaw puzzles. Thank you for making it so easy to be comfortable while watching the snow outside. Also, great location for walking to restaurants, shops, historic sites, and catching the bus to the funicular. We highly recommend Jolimont to all visitors.

We arrived at the apartment after hours and there was a note and room key at the front door for us. The apartment was excellent with a clear unobstructed view of the Matterhorn mountain. As we walked into this hotel, we loved it right away. Very clean and well kept with all the necessities. Bed was comfortable. The kitchenette was a huge help as we could easily make our own sandwiches, etc.
Umbrellas for our use was a huge help! The view from the room was just breathtaking - when you see Matterhorn from the room! Everything was beautiful about this hotel - close to train station and all amenities. Loved our stay!

Simple, clean, great views and location

The room was simple yet clean and the staff was very helpful before arriving, during our stay, and at departure. If your focus is getting on the mountain over a luxe place to stay, this is a great choice. We used the in-unit kitchenette to cook breakfast each morning and the beds were comfortable. More than anything, the view from our room was amazing. It is located in the heart of town (very central) and easily walkable to most places. I would definitely stay here again!

Great location and spacious

I have nothing but good stuff to say about this place because I had a great time in Zermatt. I was carrying 17kg luggage and I walked from the Zermatt station to Joliment. It was a tough walk but doable. If you're a budget traveller, no need to pay extra to have 'the view of matterhorn' in the room. You can pretty much see the matterhorn everywhere on the street outside. Just walk outside and you'll have the view!

Couldn't have been better!

We stayed for two days. Our room had a direct view of the Matterhorn! Just see the picture. Really awesome to open the curtain and see this from the bed!

Pleasant and priced right.

Feels Like Home

Best stay in my Switzerland trip. We made full use of the kitchenette, which came with salt and other spices. We were asked to strip the bed after our stay, which means they take cleanliness fairly seriously. It's very spacious and comfortable and welcoming. There're homey little touches like a sewing kit and flashlight and dining table. Even the formidable distance from the train station cannot diminish how much I enjoyed staying here.

One drawback -- our Matterhorn views are only visible if we stick our necks out the balcony fence, but considering the price I snagged the room at, I should not be surprised.

Great Stay

A memorable experience for us, a family of 4. The kids loved the duplex setup. It's close to a bakery, store MIGROS, and mostly a 5-7 min walk from everything you will need. The apartment was very very clean, the staff was extremely polite and helpful and overall we had an amazing time.

Zermatt Winter Wonderland

I booked a 2 bedroom duplex apartment from February 27-March 5th for a ski trip with my husband, brother-in-law, and best friend. It was perfect! The apartment was walking distance from the ski shuttle bus stop, restaurants, a small mini mart (a larger grocery store was also walking distance), and the main shopping strip in Zermatt. Our apartment was on the fourth floor and the building was equipped with a small elevator. It can comfortably fit 4 adults, but you'll probably need to make a few trips depending on the amount of luggage. The ski room was on the first floor and very safe/convenient. The apartment itself was incredibly clean and the kitchen was well equipped. We were able to cook breakfast every morning. We probably could've cooked dinners as well, but we chose to eat out every night. The furniture and decor are minimal, but it was perfect for what we needed. The temperature in the apartment was on the warmer side, but we balanced it out by keeping the windows cracked. We thoroughly enjoyed our week in Zermatt and it was due in large part to the Jolimont. During our trip we continually commented on how the location was absolutely perfect and how clean the apartment was. The management was polite and helpful. We definitely plan on booking there again when we return to Zermatt! If anyone is wondering about the skiing- it was incredible! We had fresh powder snow and clear sunny days- skiing in the Alps is truly a unique experience.

Stinky apartment! Avoid it!

The apartment had a musty(moldy) smell.
The ad on Expedia was a complete rip off.
They fooled us with their ad on Expedia, they claimed that the apartment is on a special rate of $175 per night, instead of the regular rate of ~$1000!
Believe me this apartment doesn't even worth of $175 per night with that strong moldy smell, no everyday service, no breakfast, and also it's a bit far from the main street and ski resort.

AVOID IT!

Matterhorn View

Great place to stay, there is a reception but only at specific times of the day and check in was a little strange but we made it in the end. Great room with fully equipped kitchen which was handy as eating out is rather costly. Bathroom was great. Room with a view, the view of the Matterhorn was amazing 2nd floor balcony to ourselves with a perfect vista, when the sun came out and the clouds disappeared it was breathtaking !!! The only downside was the WIFI connection which needs to be improved as it was difficult to connect and trying to browse the Internet was a bit of a struggle throughout the stay... Other than that I would definitely stay here again, thanks you very much Jolimont !!

Quiet hotel with Matternhorn view!

The apartments was slightly out of the way from the main station and unattended when we got there, which made the check in process slightly confusing. However, once we got there the apartment was lovely and warm. The staff came in to check on us to make sure we were comfortable, which was a nice sentiment. We got a studio with a Matterhorn view, which made our trip very special indeed!

Jolimont-- lovely!

Jolimont is a lovely studio apartment in the Swiss Chalet style which is in keeping with the ambience of the delightful town of Zermatt, Switzerland at the foot of The Matterhorn. Bridget is an exemplary host! Our room had a beautiful view of the Matterhorn!

Lovely hotel, clean and new, with floral accents on each landing. Great view of Matterhorn. Located in quiet part of Zermatt, about a 10-minute walk from train station. Room (studio) was spacious with eiderdowns on bed, kitchen table with chairs, kitchenette, bathroom, sitting area, bench, wardrobe, and balcony. Everything seemed new. Had practical features like a sewing kit, flashlight, maps, dryer rack, and trays for wet shoes. Would definitely stay here again! Very reasonably priced!

Excellent accomodation and value and location!

Just returned from a long easter weekend skiing in Zermatt, the Jolimont Apartments are in an amazing location and fantastic value compared to the other hotels in Zermatt. The rooms are nice clean and spacious, its a nice size studio with dining area and kitchen. There is a good size flatscreen Samsung tv with english channels.
Location wise, it's right in the middle of Zermatt, the main high street town being a 5 mins walk across the bridge; about 10-15mins walk to both the Sunnegga and Furi ski lifts. There is a free frequent ski bus around the corner and down the steps but we decided to walk on most days as sometimes the buses can be a little full in the mornings but there is always another one soon after. There is a bakery and small supermarket just around the corner and some excellent restaurants nearby. A great place, highly recommend and will definitely use again when I next come back to Zermatt!

Excellent Apartments, Good Location and Very Clean

Booked the Jolimont Apartments as they appeared to be a bit cheaper than other similar apartments in Zermatt on Hotels.com. We weren't disappointed, the apartment was excellent.

Pros
Room was spacious, 2 single beds stuck together (as is common in Europe), small coffee table 2 seats, large wardrobe, balcony with further seating and a drying rack (not that it was warm enough during our stay), Samsung flat screen smart tv on the wall, dining table with 4 chairs, bedside tables, small kitchen with fridge cupboards and utensils, ensuite with shower over bath, sink and loo.
Good wifi albeit was slower in the evenings.
10 minutes walk to town
Nearby mini market
Balcony with view of Matterhorn (requested at time of booking)
External secure ski storage
Room was very clean (not cleaned during the week)
No noise from external areas/nearby pubs/restaurants etc

Could have been better
No Cons however 2 very minor details...
room was very hot in the evening, we tried to adjust the radiators and ended up sleeping with the windows open (with respect to the landlord we never reported this as felt it was better to be too warm than too cold (it was -20 some evenings).

Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would very much recommend the Jolimont Apartments.

Very pleasant apartment, spacious room. The description \"Matterhorn view\" was a little stretched as you had to lean over the balcony rail to see the Matterhorn but a view nonetheless. Convient to the centre and easy access to the ski lifts by the skibus. It would be difficult in Zermatt to find anywhere where the welcome is not warm.

Amazing Matterhorn View

Checked in, went out on the balcony and WOW! The Matterhorn is right there, staring you in the face.

The room was large and comfortable with nice bed, soft duvet and comfortable pillows. The bathroom included a nice soaking tub. The room was also equipped with a tiny, but fully functional kitchen with miniature oven. We even cooked dinner there. In addition to the kitchen, there is a closet in the hall with additional appliances like waffle iron, toaster, electric griddle, etc.

It was quiet, except for the churchbells, but they weren't excessively loud and they stopped by 10pm and didn't seem to start again too early in the morning. Loved that you could leave the windows open for some fresh air at night.

Great value excellent clean quiet room

We had a large room on the 3 rd floor with a balcony that had a view of the Matterhorn. The room has a handy kitchen. No breakfast but a bakery about a block away has delicious baked goods as well as sandwiches, juice and milk. Hotel is located a bit off the main tract so it is very quiet. The walk from the train station was very doable for two 66 year olds.

Unreal!

Fantastic view of the Matterhorn from the balcony!

The apartment we stayed in was of a good size with a bathroom and kitchen, everything was nice and clean. We had a great view of the Matterhorn from the balcony! There's no room service and the office was only open for an hour later afternoon everyday. Towels provided but there's only a couple of toilets rolls and bars of soups so bring/buy your own. Overall a very pleasant stay, would recommend.

怕冷的話，坐在房間內也能欣賞到山境，因為玻璃窗很大

我們住了3晚，幸運地在最後一天早上日出時的黃金馬特洪峰💛

This ski hotel is set in what is probably Zermatt's best location. It offers breathtaking views over the rooftops of the village and of the King of the Alps: the Matterhorn.

With its spectacular tunnel entrance by elevator, the hotel is just a 5-minute walk from the village. Zermatt's train station is just 300 m from the accommodation.

This hotel offers a total of 75 beds in 37 different guest rooms. The many services available at this hotel include a hotel safe, lift access, a bar, a panoramic terrace, the Gourmetstöbli restaurant and room service.
