Football match stay over

Stayed here one night to attend the Real Betis match with my teenage son. Hotel was perfect for what we wanted. We had a big room with views over the city which was very clean and comfortable. Reception and bar/ restaurant staff were all excellent and very friendly. Breakfast is in lovely restaurant overlooking the pitch inside the stadium which was fantastic for my football mad son. Bar/ restaurant food was also very good and reasonably priced. Very easy free parking also on site, just have to be there fairly early if an event is on, due to security.

Hotel is quite nice. Would have liked a kettle/coffee machine in our room given the 4 star rating. I also needed an iron but none was available in the room. It is outside the city but we knew that and we had a car for travelling. Free parking is a bonus!

Acceptable hotel if booked at a right price

It’s a nice hotel to stay away from the city center but be very close to it. The room was spacious. It was clean too. The furniture is a bit worn down but it was not too bad. There is construction noise, with loud blasts at night but we used to pass out after long days.

The access to the hotel is blocked due to the construction. The hotel can put temporary signs to guide the residents.

The hotel was very nice. Super clean and the staff were kind and accommodating. The only issue is that it is surrounded by nothing and the abandoned 92 Expo buildings all look run down. There was construction happening in the stadium so if you are a light sleeper like I am you were woken up weekday mornings by beeping reversing trucks and pounding on concrete. I was here summer of 2024. Would have been mice to have known about the construction- I would not have booked. The breakfasts in the buffet restaurant were plentiful and delicious with fresh squeezed juices and both continental and hot buffet choices. It’s a 15 minute drive to downtown Seville once you have figured out how to get into the hotel in the circular drive off of the highway. If looking for a less expensive alternative to downtown- it works. Just ask about the construction before you book.

Not somewhere to stay if you want food and drinks.

Well this is tricky. We do not want to say to many bad things about the hotel, the staff were excellent. The problem was the bar / restaurant didn’t open all the time. We were there for Spain vs Scotland and thought as we were staying in the hotel we would get priority we got back into the bar after the game and they closed it for everyone, including the residents.

A hotel overlooking a stadium - wow! :)

I like unique properties. And this is a unique property as some rooms and breakfast room overlook a stadium.
Apart from this the room was spacious and clean, staff - polite, restaurant on site - good idea for an industrial region.
The only downside is that I asked staff on reception to show us how a room with a view to stadium looks like (as we were staying in a regular room) and they refused.

There are much better choices in Seville

The location is not so desirable nor is the lobby welcoming and inviting. It has no atmosphere-music would be nice, the bar to be open would be good. Good thing, the room was comfortable and spacious. Sadly, the plumbing needs some work. When the bath is filled, no problem until you go to drain it and the smell of sewer backs up through it as well as the bidet. I did mention this at check-out so they can repair it. Also, the walls are very thin. You can here every noise including the light switches begin touched on and off.
Fine for one night but would not stay longer nor likely another time when in the area.

Well appointed hotel. there was a bus available nearby to go to the city centre, that took about 40 min. Cab was only about 9 Euros and took about 15 min. Area was quiet and the beds comfortable. Could hear the voices from people talking in the hallway as they were returning to their room for the night - loud enough to wake us from sleep. That was the only downside. There's a small bar fridge in the room. No coffee make or kettle, but a coffee machine available near the front desk.

Would surely stay again.

Everything was very good except they were having trouble with the WIFI which for me was unfortunate. One of the cool things was that the dining room was directly looking over a stadium, actually attached I would say. Unfortunately there was no sporting event going on but it still looked pretty cool. I guess they also use it for concerts. I'm not sure what they do if there is an event and you want to have dinner because I guess you would be able to enjoy it without actually paying for the event I guess. Otherwise the people seemed quite friendly and willing to help when they could. And the room was very clean.... oh and very important to me they had free parking and easy access to the bus system.

Excellent hotel with free parkinh

We stayed at this hotel for a couple of nights whilst in Seville.We chose the hotel because of its offer of free easy parking and knowing that Seville can be quite expensive for hotel and parking combinations.
We were not disappointed with our choice as we found staff to be friendly and efficient.Rooms to be spacious and clean.Our double room had a view over the stadium which was nice.
The hotel has a restaurant that opens for breakfast and dinner.We did not eat at the hotel so cannot comment on the food but prices were very reasonable with breakfast for 7.50 euros and supper 12 euros.
Wifi was very reliable and quick.
The location of the hotel is quite isolated with no restaurants or shops in the immediate vicinity.
However there is a regular bus service which runs into the city every 8 mins and takes about 30 mins to get into the city.If you like walking its quite a nice walk and will take about 40 mins to again get to the city.
The bus stop is a 5 min walk from the hotel.
We were surprised that the hotel did not have a swimming pool as the hotel is quite large and spacious.
We found that the hotel for us suited all our needs the bonus being the parking.
If you are planning on visiting the Theme park Isla Magica this is an ideally positioned hotel.
Very good value for money.

A/C in whole hotel was out and apparently they have no plans to fix it. Location is not close to anything- you are in the deserted part and everything has been abandoned. Rooms have paper thin walls and you can hear everyone talking, phones ringing etc. Bar is advertised as being fully operable and nice lounge area- not the case as it’s complexity empty and not a glass to be seen

Nice staff, location is fine. It has a good parking lot, and internet is very fast. How ever is difficult to reach it, roads for the entrance are confusing.
The pictures advertised a nice room facing the stadium; first they have only 8 rooms facing the court, second the picture is way to different than really; carpets are old and dirty as well as the shower curtain and walls. They attached two single beds to make one big bed, so basically my husband and me had to sleep separately. The lobby isn’t cozy.
It seems the lady makes her best to make it look clean, but the hotel is in very bad shape.

In nowhere land !

I tired hotel in the middle of nowhere. It is in the Olympic stadium a few miles from the city and a lengthy bus ride to the old quarter. On arrival the reception member of staff was useless and unhelpful, no info offered and no welcome of any sort, rather mr.bean like. At our room we found that the safe did not work, tried to phone reception but phone did not work either ! Went down with phone which was replaced later but had to ask again next day re safe and another staff member provided a key.
Room comfortable, great air con, good view of the area around the hotel (which is of a motorway, and an assortment of coaches,lorries, vans using the abandoned parks from the failed Olympic bid preparations). The bathroom was poor, shower very basic, bath needs replacing.
Restaurant very good, staff great, wide range of food on offer for breakfast. We did not eat evening meal there though.
In summary would not return. This is not a 4 star hotel in my opinion, very uninspiring location, literally nothing around the hotel but weedy parking areas.

I was in a room on the 1st floor. There was a family next door. A very noisy group it was. It felt like the walls were made of paper & we were all staying together. )) If the noise had continued after midnight I would have called the front desk but fortunately just before midnight things quieted down. The shower in the morning changed from hot to cold every few seconds. Remember also the hotel is at Gate G which I believe is at the south end of the stadium. Taxis will run you around 10 euros to get downtown. Good thing is onsite free parking. Staff was nice & helpful.

Very convenient for airport

this was ideal for an early start at Seville airport but also proved to be very simple to get into Seville using public transport. When first arriving at hotel was put off by apparent remote position however staff were extremely helpful with assisting us with advice to help us find our way around.
Very clean modern room, great wifi, free car parking, iced water and free pastry at reception and all round a very pleasant experience.
Will certainly return if going back to Seville. Price was also outstanding and represented massive value for money.

We were unaware of the events happening in Seville on the day we booked and we paid a lot for the hotel and was expecting luxury for the price. We showed up and waited about 15 minutes to check in because there was ONE person checking in before us. It took way too long for the one person checking in and no time for us to check in, so not sure what was happening there. We got to our room and it is very dingy and outdated. Paint was peeling off the walls and the furniture and linens were old. It turned out that there is a very large fair happening in Seville, so I'm assuming that was the reason for the price of the hotel, but we were very disappointed with the hotel.

Reasonable value but remote

Is a reasonable hotel with rooms overlooking an (apparently) unused sports stadium. Room was large, clean and bed reasonably comfortable. Staff were friendly and had passable English, the included breakfast OK, and the room rate good value.

We chose this hotel because it had free parking and we did not want to negotiate our way into another city maze for a one night stop-over. But this hotel is around 15 minutes car ride from the City centre (less than EUR$10) or about 30-40 minutes bus ride from the nearest bus station (less than 200m from the hotel). So not ideal for fully exploring what seems from our brief visit to be a City well worth exploring). And as it turned out we spent quite a while finding it because it is just part of the stadium and the hotel sign on the driveway into it not that obvious.

Good value hotel in the Olympic Village. Although the place does feel a bit abandoned as it is under a fly over. Last bus to the hotel is around 10:30 as you may find yourself walking back if you take the 11:30pm bus which stops at Cartuja.

The hotel is dated and needs and update as it feels like a three star hotel. I felt it was more of a place to sleep as opposed to exploring the whole hotel.

Room was a good size however lacked some basic amenities such as an Ironing board, a kettle. Better toiletteries could have been provided as it all seemed a little under value.

Breakfast buffet was ok but nothing special. Would of been nice to have a Spanish type breakfast too i.e. chorizo, Torta, Spanish omelette etc...

Staff were good but felt there was not much excitement from the team.

A cheap stay

This hotel is in a very deserted part of town and seems only convenient for families going to the nearby amusement park. The price was very cheap so that should be kept in perspective. One bed in the room was comfortable and the other was not. Otherwise the room was Ok. We don't mind walking so the distance to site seeing was doable but do not recommend walking at night on that side of the city. We took a taxi back.
Breakfast was good for the price but go early since they don't replenish foods near the
end.

Everything was okay, except beds could have been better, and breakfast was a big disappointment. It is kilometres away from anything, including shops, or even buildings, but you can get the bus to the city from about 200m down the road. Plenty of free parking.

A nice hotel with a lot going for it but we were so disappointed with the restaurant. No English spoken, brought the wrong starter then brought main course before starter finished. Breakfast was chaos as we followed a group of Chinese tourists and a party of Spanish children who had emptied the place. No cups, glasses, dishes and very little food. All tables dirty and only two staff. Slightly better second day though.

I stayed this hotel for travelling Sevilla, Spain.
It was 7 days 5 nights.
The room was very cleaniess and the hotel facilities were good.
The breakfast buffet was so good and the attitude of the room services were very polite.
But I needed to renew the Wi-Fi user name and the password one time.
Because the Wi-Fi will be expired a 3 days.
Some reception staff couldn't understand English.
And all room service couldn't understand English.
But other things are really good.
The reception staff could call a taxi only one push!
And the taxi came to the hotel in 5 minutes.

So as for myself, I am satisfied.

GPS did send us to the wrong side of the track eventually with the help from a Police escort we got to the Hotel, after that every thing was just fine. We had a room over looking the Stadium grounds unusual and very memorable. Nice Hotel helpful friendly staff would stay there again.

The hotel was very comfortable with plenty of free parking. It was a little way out of the city but taxis were inexpensive. The bus is also available nearby. The menu is not very exciting. The only problem was the paving slabs in the entrance were uneven and needed repairing. I went over on them and broke my foot in 2 places which caused us to cut short our holiday as I couldn't walk. I am now in plaster for 6 weeks

We were two families with kids. We stayed 2 nights. The location is good if you are there for 2-3 days. It's very near to the Isla Magic attraction park, that was our first day target. Also you have quick access to the city center, where you have lots of public parking's. You will need a car if you are staying there and planing to visit Seville, but like in our case we were with rent a car you have a free parking at the hotel, so you will save money comparing with the hotels in the city.
In general the hotel is very good - clean rooms, good wifi internet, reasonable prices and working air-condition.

Did the trick for the weekend

The front desk was helpful in telling us where to go. The room wasn't that great, we got a room for four and it looked like they just stuffed a couple cots in a room meant for two, so it felt crowded. Also the view outside our window was a walkway in a stadium and that was ugly.Bus stop near by made for easy transportation to downtown. The breakfast was very good and worth it.

Don't go for breakfast!!

The Hotel is very dated, reception is very good. Breakfast was a complete disaster, dirty tables, no food on the buffet, when it arrived, very poor. On Sunday, no tea, no fruit, no PEPPER!! We will NEVER stay in this Hotel again.

Although the hotel looks a bit worn out, it has a good price/quality ratio. Breakfast was good, personal helpful, parking was free and safe. Location is not very far from city center, but we preferred not go there by car, but took tourist bus, that stopped ca 1 km from hotel. If you search it in GPS, search Olympic stadium, hotel is part of that.

convenient to the highway

the location is unusual as it is built right into the Olympic stadium. It would be fantastic if there were events going on. Anyway, it worked well for having a car: no parking or traffic issues to deal with and there is a bus to tourist center nearby. Staff was friendly and helpful and room comfortable. Food in restaurant was nothing to write home about.

Very limited catering

Catering facilities at this hotel are very, very limited. There is no cafe/snack bar even though this is advertised as being open all day. The bar is not open at all. There is nowhere to get anything to eat or drink before dinner at 8pm. The dinner menu only offers a very limited fixed price menu.

This was very disappointing as there are no other bars or restaurants in the vicinity.

Nice, but not convenient to attractions

The hotel itself is difficult to find, and it is built around an olympic stadium. There was a huge concert in the stadium the night we stayed, so there were thousand of people outside in line, including vendors, etc. Luckily, we were not driving anywhere that night, otherwise we would have had to move our car to a lot further away, as people were allowed to wailt in line there.
It is also NOT walking distance to anywhere. There is a bus stop about a block from the hotel, but it is a good 25 minute ride to the cathedral.

not a 4 star hotel

We stayed at Hotel Exe Isla Cartuja and if I could rate it any lower I would. I solely booked it based on the star ranting and the reviews, and I was unpleasantly surprised. The hotel is old, with old and dirty rooms. The bathrooms are absolutely filthy. Upon arrival we were greeted nicely by the representative, and that probably the only nice thing I have to say about this hotel. He gave us a room on the first floor with the view of the stadium. It did have the view of the stadium, but the view of dirty under-the-stairs (ceiling for the seating area) with pigeon droppings all over the floors. According to Wikipedia the 'la cartuja' stadium have only been used less than 10 times during it's 10 years life. After complaining about the view, we were given a different room on the 4th floor with the view of the city which was slightly better. The carpets are old and dirty, the bed sheets were old and dirty and stunk, the bathroom floors and the toilets were super old and filthy. I don't know much about hotel ratings, but I have stayed at 2 star hotels that were cleaner than this hotel. I don't usually write reviews on hotels, but I had to on this one. This is not a 4 star hotel. Stay away.

Affordable stay in Seville

We would return as this hotel is affordable for Seville. The room was large and comfortable. The room was a bit worn with uncomfortable chairs but for the price, we would stay there again. The biggest draw is the location is easy to get to and parking is free. The staff was helpful in answering questions and recommending restaurants close by.

too far to walk to sights

Hotel itself ok. if you were attending some sporting or music event at the stadium. Staff friendly and helpful, but surrounding area not the best, would not fancy walking round there at night!
