Amazing Experience!

I have been visiting Majorca for 20 years and I have stayed in various hotels around Alcudia. Hands down, this is the best hotel I have stayed in. The rooms are immaculate, the staff are incredible and it provided a truly relaxing and memorable experience. The facilities at the hotel are top noch and nothing is to much for the staff. The hotel is very well placed being outside of the busy and noisy town but within walking distance to it. I rarely stay in the same hotel twice but I will definitely be making this my 'go to' hotel when I return.

We had a junior suite and it was perfect. Large room with 2 double beds. Lovely balcony and view.
Spotlessly clean and very comfortable.
We arrived at midnight but the staff were friendly and there to greet us.
Pool was also lovely, would definitely stay again..it was chilled quiet and perfect.

Excellent hotel in a quaint part of alcudia suites to families and couples. About 10mins taxi ride to old part (no more than 10 euros ever).

Hotel staff were excellent, upgraded room to a big suite. Amenities lacked but for the price it didn’t bother me on a short trip.

Good value and would recommend.

Perfect location for a nice wuiet break. Staff polite friendly and very helpful. Only big downside was transfer! 2 hrs from airport snd had only dropped 3 weary passengers! Transfer was longer than flight! Got a taxi back!!

The room was huge, with a large balcony over looking the pool, bathroom with walk in shower which was very powerful. We never had the tv on, wifi was a bit sluggish but the staff helped remedy this. Air conditioning was fab ( apart from dust falling from fan, perhaps not been used for a while). Would certainly recomend the SOM FAR

This hotel is amazing! It makes a difference!!, great location! Awesome service! Only 45 rooms but is fantastic!. I checked in with my girl and we had such an amazing time. The service is real 5 stars, from the front desk people, thru the maids and the breakfast attendants. Always with a smile and ready to help you. The hotel is located in a really private area, in a calita down a hill surrounded by the beach and a fantastic restaurant right across the street, 10 min from center. I was really happy with my decision! I will definitely come back to this wonderful boutique hotel!

The room and hotel were modern and clean. Staff attentive and knowledgeable and happy to assist in any way. Pool was clean and sun beds always available. The roof terrace was a delightful sanctuary with beautiful views. €10 deposit for a towel that you could exchange for clean and dry whenever you needed was a great way of saving space in the suitcase. Breakfast was a continental buffet style and always fresh. If I stayed again, I wouldn’t bother with the half board option. Two choices offered for each course, but not really to my liking, but adequate. More choice required in my opinion.

room size is great, but the black mold growing on the ceiling in the corner under the upstairs bath is a bit worrisome. Also, WIFI didn't work or very weak despite asking for and plugging in a booster in the room. Safe did not work, even after 20 minutes working on it. Second TV comes on by itself in the middle of the night. TV remote doesn't work.. maybe needs new battery. We asked for and paid for sea view... also got directly over the convenience store below and its umbrellas and rusted shelving, and hedge of tall trees. Pool and pool deck area is great. DO NOT buy half board their food sucks after breakfast... only 2 choices and if you don't like... TOUGH.. will not cook any thing else on the menu.
BTW, this purchase adds to my suspicion that if you buy your room through a discounter, the hotel gives you their worst rooms.

Smallish Hotel with Charm

The view is beautiful and natural. There is a beach with excellent trees bent at a 45 degree angle from the wind. The hotel is very clean and has an excellent layout. The room feels very spacious. The restaurant downstairs was good for a breakfast buffet with typical Mallorcan options. The dinner was good also. The location is in a residential area away from most tourists and only 15 minutes from the walled town of Alcudia. There are a few restaurants within walking distance.

The drawbacks are sometimes motorcycles raced down the road at night and woke me up. Also, the English speaking television stations are few.

Beautiful hidden gem right on the Mediteranean. Perfect walking distance away from the other hotel crowd. Service was impeccable. Just email any specific needs a few days in advance and they will fully accommodate. For instance, they paid full attention to my daughter's celiac needs.

Nice quiet hotel away from the resort of Alcudia

Nice hotel, modern, clean and a nice swimming pool (which we sadly didn't have time to use). We had a huge room wiht a balcony, great powerful shower and fridge which was very useful. Staff low English level and crazy slow breakfast service, but overall very happy with the stay. Top tip: they have beach towels for you to borrow so you don't need to pack yours!
It's in a very quiet village with one restaurant that was OK but a bit expensive, but super close to Alcudia and bigger towns if you want something more resorty/ sandy beaches -the beaches here are rocky but excellent for snorkelling, and you can swim across to the lighthouse island easily.

A stylish and special hotel

An excellent hotel, and for me a very lucky find. We had a warm welcome, well organized and efficient check in. The hotel is very stylish, in a good position. The room was clean and modern. I was able to use the swimming facility just across the road from my room. Ideal position for ferries which is one reason I chose this location. Would love to come back for a longer stay. Finally if I had to criticize anything it would be the late night noise coming from the kitchen staff below, after 11pm it would be nice to enjoy some quiet.

Lovely spot on a lovely island!

New building and very nice staff. The rooms are spacious and the building is across the street from the water. Very beautiful with a park and easy access to walking paths and a child's park. Pretty chill area, but restaurants are just a few minutes drive away or a longer walk. Breakfast was delicious and included. Rooms were very spacious and ours had two verandas with ocean views. Great value for money. I would happily stay here again.

6 days of sun and relaxation

My wife and I were looking for a queit place away from the crowds, where we could go swimming and take short sightseeing excursions. This was perfect! We had the swimming hole all to ourselves. Granted, it was not a sandy beach, but still had easy access into the water and beautiful scenery. The hotel had live entertainment 3 nights we were there, each time a solo guitarist, one playing Spanish classics and the other English hits. The only reason I didn't give the room 5 stars was because the bathroom with ist glass door, doesn't provide the most privacy, and the bed was a Little too firm for me. But we slept well. And we enjoyed sitting out on the balcony drinking wine, listening to the Music below, and watching the water in the distance. I enjoyed working out on the roof top terrace at sunrise with a stunning view of the lighthouse and bay! The town of Alcudia is just 5 minutes by car as is the Port d'Alcudia which has sandy beaches and where I rented a Windsurfer and bought a couple nice hats. This was our first time in Majorca, but we were told that this year there were more tourists than usual, because those who would have gone to Turkey came to Majorca. We took 3 very interesting trips. The first was to Cap de Formentor, a stunning drive up the mountain and out to the lighthouse with lots of Picture oportunities and lookouts along the way. St Viktoria is a short hike to another gougious 360 degree view, and to Polencia and Ilca Monestary in the moutains.

The Perfect Place for Rest & Relaxation

As I stepped into the Reception area of the Hotel Som Far, I was not disappointed. This small boutique hotel in Alcanada just oozed tranquility. As we were being checked in, Francisca informed us that the hotel had upgraded us to a Junior Suite as our original room was not ready. Francisca was extremely friendly, very professional and provided us with all the information we needed for our 10 night stay. The chilled glass of sparkling wine offered on the terrace as a welcome drink was a great start to a wonderful holiday. The hotel is chic and modern in its simple white and blue design. The room is large and airy and the rain shower in the bathroom is just gorgeous! The room has everything you could need including a fridge, safety deposit box (payable) and air conditioning. The standard breakfast at the Som Far is continental, served on a lovely 3 tier stand and consists to sweet and savoury options, plus fresh fruit. Hot options such as omelettes, pancakes, eggs, bacon and sausage are also available at no extra cost. The all day snack menu is great and there is also an evening a la carte menu which includes Mallorcan traditional dishes which are delicious. All the staff at the Som Far are very friendly and efficient. A special mention must be made to Belle (Elizabeth). She was always smiling and simply lit up the restaurant whenever she was there. Nothing was too much trouble for her or any of the staff - keep up the good work guys - we will be back soon xx

this is a nice hotel in a small hamlet of Mallorca. It has a nice partial view of the sea. The staff was fabulous. I was sick and they made me chicken soup for every meal! Our only complaint was that our room was above the bar and at the end of a street where buses turned around so it was noisy. This was particular to our room.

Ein tolles Hotel, abseits vom Trubel mit einer idyllischen Lage und freundlichem Personal. Das Frühstück ist phänomenal und die Zimmer sauber, ordentlich und geräumig.
Port d’Alcudia ist fußläufig gut erreichbar und Parkmöglichkeiten stehen um das Hotel auch zur Verfügung.

The fridge wasn't working, we informed the staff, but they said it was normal. There was no more soap or shampoo in the shower, we reported it in the morning for them to refill it, but nothing was done. The hairdryer wasn't working, they fixed it. The view of the pool was spoiled by the trees in front.

Nous avons beaucoup aimé cet hôtel qui est à l’écart dans l’agitation de la zone.
Malheureusement la déception est grande avec un sentiment d’avoir été floué. Nous n’avons pas eu la chambre que nous avions réservé pour la première nuit. La personne qui nous a accueilli nous a dit que nous étions sur classé nous garantissant que la vue était similaire à celle que nous avions réservée. La chambre que nous avons eu n’était pas de le bâtiment récent, la chambre n’était pas rénovée et la vue n’était pas directement sur la mer. Nous avons donc payé une chambre que nous n’avons pas eu la première nuit.

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt in der Unterkunft. Die Zimmer waren relativ neu und modern und obwohl wir keinen Meerblick gebucht hatten, hatten wir ein solches Zimmer. Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr umfangreich. Wir reisen sehr viel und das Frühstück war eines der besten, was wir je hatten. Wir können das Hotel bedenkenlos weiter empfehlen, auch im Hinblick Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.

Der Aufenthalt war angenehm, ruhig mit einer sauberen Unterkunft. Das Personal war sehr nett. Spricht Englisch und Landessprache. Manche ein wenig deutsche Brocken. Mit Schwerbehindertenausweis ist man sogar von der Touristikgebühr befreit. Halbpension war gut, allerdings ist nicht alles auf der sehr begrenzten Karte inclusive. Für mehr als eine Woche wäre es mir zu wenig Auswahl. Da wir jedoch tagsüber viel Unterwegs waren für 6 Tage ausreichend. Liegt etwas Ausserhalb von Alcudia, daher ist ein Auto empfehlendswert, wenn man Abends noch etwas unternehmen möchte. Direkt nebenan ist aber auch eine Bushaltestelle und ans Hotel angrenzend ein kleiner Sparmarkt. Ansonsten leider nichts zum Bummeln.

Ein schönes Hotel mit wunderbaren Mitarbeitern

Insbesondere die freundliche und hilfsbereite Art aller MitarbeiterInnen habe ich während meines Aufenthalts toll empfunden.
Das Frühstücksbüffet wurde jeden Tag von der Dame aus der Küche toll gemeistert und den Service von den Restaurant-Mitarbeitern insbesondere von dem Restaurant-Leitern fand super!!

Die Mitarbeiterinnen von der Rezeption waren so lieb und ständig sehr hilfsbereit, sodass ich diesen erneut tausend mal Dankeschön sagen möchte!

Gern bis zum nächsten Aufenthalt, wir haben uns sehr sehr willkommen und wohl gefühlt, vielen lieben Dank!

Un muy lindo Hotel, pero lo mejor de el, son sus Empleados que cada día hacen todo lo posible y mucho más por hacer la estadía de los que se hospedan en el, excelente!

Hotel rénové récemment avec encore quelques ajustements à apporter. Voiture recommandée mais bus au pied de l'hotel car un peu éloigné de la ville et du port d'Alcúdia. Mais calme et environnement sympathique notamment sentier du littoral au pied de l'hotel, magnifique. Equipe dans son ensemble extrêmement à l'ecoute, chaleureuse et professionnelle. Tres satisfait de notre séjour. Petit déjeuner avec des produits de qualité et variés et à disposition. Vraiment super. Ainsi que les snacks.

Skønt hotel. Vi boede med havudsigt og det var en helt fantastisk en af slagsen. Utrolig smuk udsigt til havet gennem palmer og pinjetræer. Dejlig terasse med glas gav god udsigt indefra og læ for vind. Dejlig indrettet 1 værelses - eneste minus; der var ingen lys ved udtrækssofaen, kun loftslys. Besværligt for vores datter, som skulle slukke lyset og famle sig frem til sengen (der var heller ikke stik, så mobilen lå til opladning et stykker fra sengen)

Dit hotel ligt buiten de toeristenzone,het maakt gebruik van 4 sterren maar eigenlijk 2 sterren en dat komt mede door een slecht ontbijt en weinig keus van eten,avond eten buffet 4 bakjes,elke dag uit gaan eten waardeloos,had all inclusive,mensen doe het niet is weg gegooid geld.Bediening doet uiterst zijn best maar kan hier niks aan doen.Uit eindelijk een paar honderd euro extra voor uiteten moeten uitgeven.Ik zou hier nog niet meer willen verblijven al gaven ze het me gratis.

Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt in Seasun Far. Das Personal war sehr nett und freundlich. Wir haben uns sehr willkommen gefühlt.
Das Essen war morgens und abends in Buffetform und hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt. Die Auswahl war gut.
Die Zimmer waren sauber und schön eingerichtet.
Den Pool haben wir nicht genutzt, da es uns immer ans Meer gezogen hat. Die Anlage sah jedoch sehr gepflegt und einladend aus.

Nos sorprendió que nada más llegar, toda la información que recibimos fue un papel que nos teníamos que leer. El 1r día, al solicitar almohadas más altas (en ese papel ponía que se podían solicitar y nos las traerían a la habitación) nos dijeron que lo anotaban y que al día siguiente nos las traerían, con lo que esa noche tuvimos que dormir incómodos, y no acabo de entender por qué. Hay humedades en la habitación, la papelera está oxidada y la almohada sucia de maquillaje. La limpieza es muy justa, no barren y al ser una zona de playa es indispensable. No reponían el papel higiénico y un día al volver de la playa no teníamos toallas limpias. Además, hay falta de comunicación entre el personal, ya que nos dijeron que había zonas cerradas que no podíamos disfrutar y resulta que no era cierto. Además tardaron en resolver una petición que hicimos 4 días, diciéndonos cada uno, una información diferente.

Entspannter Aufenthalt zu einem fairen Preis

Wir waren insgesamt 4 Nächte im Hotel Seasun Far inkl. Frühstück. Das Personal war freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Zimmer war sauber aber im Gegensatz zu den Bildern etwas weniger chic. Das Frühstück war in Ordnung aber kein Highlight. Der Kaffee hingegen war fantastisch! Der Pool ist klein aber fein. Schade, dass die Sonnenliegen nicht gepflegt waren. Die Sonnensegel sind leider eingerissen und lassen sich nicht mehr gut befestigen. Ebenfalls schade war, dass das Hotel auf Nachfrage auch keine Snacks anbieten konnte. Der gemütliche „Absacker“ am Abend auf der Hotelterrasse war dann schnell getrunken.

Das Hotel liegt etwas außerhalb von Alcudia. Ein Auto/Roller ist unbedingt zu empfehlen (Das Taxi vom Port Alcudia zum Hotel kostet ca. 7-8€). Um das Hotel gibt es kostenlose Parkplätze am Straßenrand. Generell bietet Alcudia und Umgebung viele tolle Erkundungs-Möglichkeiten! Die Stadt Alcudia ist sowohl am Tag als auch in der Nacht sehr schön. Insgesamt haben wir uns die Tage sehr wohl gefühlt…

Schönes, gepflegtes, modernes Hotel mit Wohlfühlausstattung in guter Lauflage zum Meer (direkt vor der Haustür).
Das Personal war freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstücksbuffet
war reichhaltig und abwechslungsreich.
Zudem verfügt es über eine schöne Aussenterrasse für eine gepflegten Sundowner zu fairen Preisen. Der Supermarkt ist gleich nebenan, falls man etwas vergessen hat.
Uns hat besonders die ruhige, beschauliche Lage des Ortes Alcanda sehr gefallen. Direkt vor der Haustür gehen schöne Wanderungen los und einige Bars sind in Laufnähe.
Trotzdem würden wir einen Leihwagen zu empfehlen, da man durch die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel sehr eingeschränkt ist.
Unser Urlaub war rundum gelungen.

Das Hotel ist wirklich super sauber und das Personal sehr zuvorkommend.
Wir hatten eine Suite mit Meerausblick und der Ausblick war wunderschön.
Das Einzige woran wir zu meckern haben, ist das Essen. Das Frühstück war noch gut, nur nervig das man immer erst auf den Kellner warten musste, um Rührei und Kaffee zu bekommen (könnten man mit ins Buffet integrieren).
Das Abendessen war eine Katastrophe. Es lohnt sich definitiv nicht, Halbpension zu buchen. Viel zu fettig und als Obstsalat zum Nachtisch, gibt es diesen aus der Dose.
Wenn man vom Essen absieht, war es wirklich ein wunderschöner Urlaub, in einer ruhigen Gegend.

Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis der Unterkunft ist gut.
Zum richtigen Playa sind es ein paar Meter.
Ohne Mietwagen musd man sich auf öffentliche Verkehrsmittel verlassen.
Mit Mietwagen ist die Lage top.
In 50 Meter Entfernung befindet sich mit La Terazza ein sehr schönes Restaurant.

Chambre parfaite nous étions ds une suite vu mer calme ville pas très loin plage à proximité . Petit déjeuner excellent .Le point négatif ,le repas du soir nous étions en demi pension . C'était vraiment léger et pas très copieux mais ds l'ensemble tout était parfait

Siisti moderni hotelli, ystävällinen henkilökunta, iso parveke, josta näköala merelle. Vaikka hotelli oli keskustan ulkopuolella niin bussilla pääsi hyvin liikkumaan kunhan vain sopeutti menossa harvoin kulkevien bussien aikatauluun. Aamiainen hyvä ja myös ruokatarjoilu hotellissa.

Die Zimmer sind in der Tat sehr hellhörig. Wobei wir Glück mit unseren Zimmernachbarn hatten. Wir hatten eine Juniorsuite mit Blick auf das Meer. Sie entsprach dem abgebildeten Foto und wir waren sehr zufrieden damit.

Parfait, pour notre lune de miel, chambre vue mer. Piscine superbe, petit déjeuner très bien et service au top. On recommande sans problème. Petit point noir, chambre un tout petit peu mal insonorisée.

Die Aussicht auf das Meer war überragend! Es lohnt sich definitiv eine Suite mit Meerblick zu nehmen. Der Strand ist felsig - Schnorchel und Badeschuhe sind empfehlenswert!
Das Abendessen war leider eine einzige Katastrophe. Gibt kein Buffet - nur à la Carte. Nichts war frisch oder selbstgekocht. Es triefte nur vor Fett - und ich bin nicht wählerisch! Es lohnt sich definitiv nicht HP zu buchen. Geht dafür lieber raus in die Stadt! Frühstück war dafür aber gut und ausreichend.

bel hôtel à proximité immédiate de la plage et commodités, parfait pour un séjour familial.
La chambre avec vue sur mer est belle, spacieuse.
Nous avons apprécié la localisation proche de la ville sans la \"subir\".
Seul bémol, la wifi de l'hôtel indisponible, mais gérable autrement: lorsqu'on est dans ce genre de lieu paradisiaque , il faut savoir se \"déconnecter\" de temps à autres.
La vie est plus belle avec un peu moins de portable 24h/24..

Ruhiges Hotel mit toller Lage. Gutes Frühstück. Mietwagen empfehlenswert. Es fährt zwar ein Bus, aber der letzte fährt bereits am späten Nachmittag. Zimmerservice nicht sehr gründlich.

Hôtel calme, cadre agréable de taille humaine

La propreté dans les chambres laisse à désirer. Cafard et fourmis dans ma chambre ! Ménage pas fait tous les jours, gel douche et papier toilette pas remis ...
Par ailleurs la restauration à la carte n'est pas extraordinaire ! Donc il est préférable de manger en ville .
Le cadre de cet hôtel et le calme sont parfaits ! C'était mon 2 ème séjour dans cet hôtel. La connexion wifi est difficile.

Hotel Som Far der skuffer

Generelt okay hotel, med god morgenmad, men dårlig rengøring og receptionspersonale. Værelserne stemmer ikke overens med de billeder der er at finde på deres hjemmeside, så det skuffede en del. Området er super med gode restauranter og hyggelige omgivelser.
