I stayed in a room with two single beds. I was given two room keys, but my booking was just for one person. I had a friend coming into my room over two nights, we went to a few bars but he didn’t stay with me. When I checked out I was told that I needed to pay about 50USD extra for having a guest despite the fact that he did not stay, and the room is indeed for two people. The air-conditioning was crappy, the single bed was far too small and uncomfortable. Very average hotel, and a very bad checkout experience, being charged extra money. What a rip off.

Nice but moisy

The shower was very good .but was put by the elevator and it made alot of noise when it would operate and was here on a friday night so music from the night ciub would echo on the buidings. The breakfast was exxelent as well

We booked at this hotel because we were lodged before in other Braston in Sao Paulo. Big mistake: the Braston Augusta is very bad, a very bad location and the room were really impossible to be in there.

Good hotel for the price in Rua Augusta area

The hotel is only ok, but considering the low price, is good. Some minor issues in the room's bathroom but for me was still ok.
The breakfast could have more options in terms of fruits, for example.
About the area: who goes to Augusta knows it is a young people party street. So expect noises all night long, even on weekdays. But for dining, for example, the area has plenty of very good options in a short walking distance, for all pockets.

Not Fancy, but clean, quiet, good breakfast

The Braston Augusta was closed for remodeling during my last stay there, so I was upgraded to the nearby sister Hotel Sao Paulo. My review is based upon prior stays at Braston Augusta.
This is a dated hotel, with (in my prior stays) actual keys and square little television sets. I've stayed three or four times, because I considered to be great value for the money (then about $28, but I fear it will go up after the two-month remodeling is complete). The front desk staff never seemed very happy to see me, but I always got a nice quiet room in the back, away from the street noise of Augusta. Breakfast is very good. I doubt the front desk staff speaks very good English. Augusta is a pretty dingy street, but I'd guess it's pretty safe. On weekends the sidewalks have pedestrians around the clock due to all the clubs nearby, and it is easy to find. The nearest metro station is about a fifteen minute walk. I will stay again.

É a terceira vez que vamos ao braston, e sempre gostamos devido a localização, muito acessível também. Algumas coisas podem melhorar na estadia como o ar condicionado do quarto que ficamos, estava muito fraco, passamos um pouquinho de calor, e também a iluminação do quarto, é muito escuro, a noite fica ruim para organizar mala entre outros itens. Mas de forma geral o hotel é muito bom, o café estava bem simples, mas tudo da melhor forma possível. Um outro ponto que pode melhorar é o banheiro do hall de entrada, o banheiro masculino é muito fedido. Gostaria de elogiar o recepcionista que no atendeu, super atencioso e gentil. Sempre nos recebe muito bem!

Quarto. Segunda vez no hotel e tivemos alguns imprevistos com os quartos, pois o primeiro que ficamos estava tudo certo, porém caiu a Cuba da pia do banheiro e fomos obrigados a trocar de quarto. Já no sétimo andar, no novo quarto, acabamos ficando mais frustrados ainda, estava cheia de baratinhas pequenas andando pelo banheiro e quarto, ar-condicionado não funcionava direito, muitas vezes acordei suando pois o quarto estava bem quente. Espero que a estadia que já paguei do carnaval esteja muito bom. Quero deixar meu elogio aos recepcionistas homens que nos atenderam, foram super educados, proativos quando tivemos o problema no primeiro quarto, educados e profissionais.

Pontos a melhorar: o ar condicionado dos quartos sao bem antigos e com a capacidade inadequada (7.500 btus), acaba nao gelando adequadamente o quarto,principalmente no verao, ocasionando assim mais custos para o proprio hotel. Area do cafe da manha é quente (eles nao ligam o ar condicionado), assim como a recepcao.na qual os funcionarios ficam com ventilador para amenizar o calor...Surreal, pois o hotel tem uma estrutura boa mas com cara de que ta falido!

A nota baixa aqui não é tão justa. A localização é excelente, quarto é bom, chuveiro é muito bom tbm. A cama é mais durinha, mas não me incomodou.
O café da manhã é ok, tem o básico, mas a cara de algumas coisas pareciam que não eram do dia. Impressão que guardam o que sobra do dia anterior para usar no dia seguinte.
Meu ponto de estresse foi com a recepcionista Yasmim, de cabelo curtinho. Eu e um amigo de trabalho saímos para um compromisso achando que voltaríamos até 12h, para só pegar as malas e ir embora, mas atrasou e retornamos pouco depois das 14h só para retirar as malas que estavavam no quarto. Ela mandou msgm por volta de meio dia e expliquei a situação e pedi se podiam segurar um pouco, pois já estávamos retornando. Ela não respondeu mais e segurou para responder depois que deu 14hs, avisando que teríamos que pagar uma taxa de mais de R$ 220. Na recepção, com essa atendente, ela se mostrou irredutível a qualquer tipo de diálogo e deu umas 2 desculpas diferentes quando pedimos para falar com a gerência. Outro atendente chegou depois e nos atendeu, e já no primeiro contato foi uma abordagem totalmente diferente da Yasmin, que parecia querer propor mais problemas do que diálogo. Explicamos a situação para esse outro atendente, que foi super solicito e muito compreensível. Ele propôs uma solução, diferente da outra atendente, que só ficou dando desculpas. Voltaria a me hospedar, só iria me recusar a ser atendido por essa recepcionista em questão.

O hotel tem boa localização com bastante opção de comida, bares, mercados e lazer perto. Achei a equipe do dia na recepção um pouco despreparada, dificuldade para fazer check in e check out. O quarto é confortável e a cama boa, já os travesseiros precisam melhorar. Banheiro bom e espaçoso, mas o apoio para shampoo no box estava quebrado. Café da manhã básico e sem muita opção de proteína, mas no geral a comida era saborosa.

Num frio de 14 graus em SP, simplesmente não tinha cobertor extra (os quartos estavam mais frios do que a rua, o que foi uma opinião compartilhada por todos os amigos que estavam hospedados no hotel e em quartos distintos). Encontrei cabelo na minha toalha, cabelo no chão do banheiro, ou seja, a limpeza deixa a desejar.
