This is the second time I stayed at the Dan Panorama hotel in Jerusalem and they did not disappoint. They continue to provide the same wonderful level of customer service. Their staff are attentive, and friendly. The hotel provides wonderful Israeli breakfast every morning and their holiday meals were really something special. I am looking forward to going back to the hotel for a third time the next time I am in Israel.

They have a garage and breakfast was included. Very nice lobby that people sit in. They have a small exercise room that is usually empty. Rooms are small but comfortable with a nice bathroom and TV. Friendly and helpful staff.

We stayed at the Dan panorama two weekends. The first was very good, the second not so much. Same cost but the second weekend we were given a smaller room with devices like the tv that did not work. Overall a good hotel just not consistently good.

This hotel is fine but they don’t do the little things that could make it a much better experience. The buffet breakfast and Shabbat dinners are ver good but only half the foods and salads had descriptions of what it was. It was 90* in Jerusalem -why not have water available to guests in lobby? The first Shabbat we we were there the room was great. Next Shabbat when we returned - same room price- room was small and the tv and some lights were out. It’s just too inconsistent in quality to be a top hotel

This is a perfectly fine hotel. I had a superior room, which is their middle category. The room is quite small, hardly more than a bed and a dresser but clean and comfortable. It felr conveniently located to me, right across from a bus stop. The hotel smells great and i really enjoyed the breakfast. Its a sorta institutional hotel, mostly filled with extra-large tour groups and delegations. The front desk staff is fine, because the hotel serves.big groups, you werent going to get a high-touch experience with the the staff, but that's fine. There were some families in the hotel and the children were consistently screaming in the hallway outside my room. On Shabbat morning, a group of young children played in the hallway shouting starting at 6 in the morning. It was pretty brutal especially bc the rooms have very thin walls so it was noisy all day. The only way i could sleep was by blasting pink noise from my phone every night. I absolutely do not regret staying there bc it.was a WONDERFUL week generally, but i would not stay at the Dan Panorama again.

We were upgraded to the new rooms recently renovated on this property. The rooms were quite small, but very clean and comfortable. Our room had only a shower, but it had great water pressure, and the bathrooms were very clean.
The location of the Dan Panorama is great for accessing the Old City, Mamilla and Ben Yehuda areas. There is also a bus stop right outside the hotel that has many lines running on it, making public transportation super easy.
Our only disappointment from the hotel stay was the breakfast. I have stayed in other Israeli hotels that have offered more plentiful salad and vegetable options. The breakfast was overall fine, but I had been expecting better given the fact that this is a very highly rated hotel.

I booked the room through Expedia.com. The listing that I reserved has a nice photo of the old city and the Dome of the Rock. But when I checked in to the hotel my room has no view at all. I asked the front desk why there was not view as depicted on the website? She told me the hotel does not have any view of the old city and she did not know how the picture ended up there. Obviously it was a mistake. Not sure if the hotel put up the photo intentionally or an honest mistake. I was very disappointed for not getting what I was expected. I would not have booked this hotel if it is not for the photo. Other than that the hotel is ok. It’s in a convenient location. Not too far from the old city.

We had a lovely stay in the hotel from the moment we met Elna at the front desk and Oded who greeted us with a lovely welcoming cake ,fruit and soft drinks before we went to our rooms. Omer brought our luggage to our toom and when we left helped us as well.We had several phone calls during our stay to determine if we had all that we needed.The location is great, there was great holiday spirit, great breakfasts. An exceptional stay

We had three rooms for our family for the Passover holiday. We have stayed at the Dan panorama in the past however I must say this visit was exceptional. The staff was friendlier and more helpful than ever and always willing to do something extra to attend to whatever we may wish. The hotel was in a constant state of cleanliness with workers constantly making sure that the lobby was immaculate. The swimming pool was as clean as one could possibly imagine and the water was at a nice temperature. The Passover Seder meal was exquisite and I had the opportunity to thank the chef who I met in a service elevator a day later. The children’s “Danny land“ room provided a nice place for the kids to have some time with arts and crafts and the attendant Maya was just great with the kids. We are looking forward to returning hopefully again later this year!

Stayed here three times and staff tend to be rude when complaints are made.

When I requested to be moved room due to the noise I was initially told that they wouldn't allow this due to house keeping not being on as they couldn't prepare a room (I couldn't believe they didn't have one more room in the hotel ready) and that the current room \"wasn't that bad\" and I \"should be able to sleep no problem\". After 2 hours and the hotel staff having to ring their manager, miraculously, a room was ready and i was moved rooms, losing a nights sleep in the process.

Breakfast and the lobby is often full with the many tour groups that pass through the hotel which often turns into a rugby scrum for a table. Long queues can form for food and the bill being slammed in front of you before you're finished eating is considered the normal.

If you want a peaceful stay I would look somewhere else!
Won't be returning.

Disappointing re-visit

We have stayed at the Dan Panorama Jerusalem before, but we were disappointed with our three night stay this time. When we checked in the staff were fine. We had booked a superior room, but had received an email from Dan hotels saying we had an executive room, so we thought how lovely we’ve been upgraded. Absolutely no said the receptionist. Ok we went to our room on the 7th floor, no help with our luggage was offered. We had showers and the shower leaked all over the bathroom floor and under the shower door it was all rusty. We told the reception staff about this, but nothing was ever done about it. One day we called down to reception and asked for more coffee sachets which never arrived. My husband had to go down and asked for them and they sent him to the bar to ask! The room was ok nothing special but was dust and not serviced well. I noticed dust and dirt behind the door in the bathroom and used my own wipes to clean it. Breakfast was fine not as good as I remember Dan hotels breakfasts to be.

This hotel is in a GREAT location! Easy to walk to main sights, restaurants, everything . The front desk was especially helpful in assisting me to book reservations with various museums.
