The staff were great and friendly. Very helpful! The breakfast was fairly good too. When I arrived there was a water problem (that happened earlier) in my room and so they had to place me for the first night at a sister hotel across the street. They had my luggage moved for me to the original location during the day and the upgraded my room as an apology (which wasn't needed but appreciated). They are a great staff and the location is also fairly walkable to major attractions.

Hotel.com images are very misleading. The rooms are neglected, very noisy and cramped. Our Deluxe twin room had 10” between the foot of the bed and the wall. Toilet seat was almost falling off ( and not repaired even after talking to the front desk ), water leaked from tub/shower onto floor from horrible retrofit tub liner and badly fit glass wall. Door to hallway had a 1” gap at the bottom, and no gasket around the door opening.. door sounded like a shotgun blast when shut.. and you hear everyone in the building.

Our rooms were clean and comfortable. Climate control worked great and sound proofing was excellent. Beds were also very comfortable. Location was great for the Old Quarter. Almost every place we wanted to go to was within 600 meters. Staff was friendly and very willing to help with our questions and provide recommendations. Some areas they can improve are signs of some mush needed maintenance

A clean and safe property that is in the heart of the Old Quarter. This property is conveniently located near most major attractions and is very quiet despite being in the hustle and bustle of a very congested area. I enjoyed my stay at this property and recommend to anyone visiting the Old Quarter. *Note: during the weekend, the streets around the hotel are closed in the evening due to the Night Market. So, if you need to be dropped off directly at the hotel, please plan to arrive prior to the closures.

I guess when I see 4* I had higher expectations but I guess in Hanoi, it’s different.

The location was very good. Close to shops, food and everything. But far from the airport.

The hotel condition was a different story.

First room they gave us was 806 ( elevator only reach to 7 floor and you have to walk a flight yourself). Doable, but not convenient

When we went into the room, it was in bad shape. Water stains all over the walls, corners, and pretty sure mold that was painted over. Badly painted patch jobs. We had tiny ants in the bathroom and we killed 4 ants in the bed. AC dripping water down on the floor. The floor boards we warped due to wetness/humidity.

We checked in and they said we booked a 3 person room, even when we booked through Expedia they allowed us. We have 2 kids (8,11) which all fit it the room. They charged us $5usd extra for the person (didn’t provide extra towels or toothbrushes- had to reask daily). There was a king and single bed. The single bed was close to the mold. Not ideal for anyone to sleep. There were food crumbs from the single couch, to floor to bathroom. I used the luggage tag sticker from airline to pick up all the food pieces.

I brought it attention to staff with showing evidence and they apologized. But due to “no vacancy” we slept in the room. They did come up to vacuum the room. But after 7 hrs of traveling we were too exhausted to care. They promised to move our stuff to new room.

We have stayed at Flora Center Hotel and Spa before so we already knew how fantastic it was! The rooms are nice and the staff were great again. They were helpful and responsive when things needed to be fixed which we really appreciated. We will definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to others.

Staff were helpful but watch out when reserving because even though we had the booking confirmation for 4 people, they made us pay for the child saying the room was for 3. Also, when helping us arranging transportation to Ninh Binh, they charged us way more than we paid on the way back.

If I could give the staff and service more stars I would!! They are definitely the highlight of this hotel.

Great location - walking distance to so many popular restaurants, markets, the lake and attractions. Staff and service were amazing! The only thing letting down this property is the mould. Our room had significant water damage and it had been painted over. The paint was peeling from the walls and you can smell the damp mould smell. I suffer from allergies and they flared right up staying here. Probably wouldn’t stay there again, only due to that.

This hotel staff have little experience and poor training
This is best exemplified by a phone call too my room at a minute past midnight to sign a document they failed to ask me sign the previous morning.
Requests with room service ignored.
No towel set in my room upon check in.

While all petty annoyances, they are, when added together, symptoms of poor leadership.

The food was ok. Room clean. Shower was strong but never warmer than tepid.
Internet is awefull. It drops completely very regularly and at all hours of the day and night.

Great location and spacious room

Staff were extremely helpful and accommodating, the hotel location was perfect walking distance to all attractions, restaurants and shops. I stayed in the deluxe room which was super spacious and room was clean and tidy everyday. Our bathroom looked a little tired and we had to wait for the hot water after each person showered for 15mins for the boiler which was a little pain after a long day, was informed our room was connected to a old boiler vs other room would not have this problem.

I read a review about ant infestation and cramped shower conditions after I already booked the hotel. When we entered, it was okay, reception was pretty, but rooms very run down. Bathtub broken and plastered up. Daughter put her suitcase in the cupboard to find dozens of ants crawling over it later. That night we found, while charging devices, ants everywhere on our bedside table. Hardly got any sleep from paranoia. The next morning, saw more ants behind kettle and on another table. Cramped rooms and inconveniently high bathtub. Extremely low shower head. I booked here for 4 nights but forfeited the 3 nights and checked out. Staff apologetic, it's not their fault but this hotel is nothing like the picture. Extremely run down and way below my humble expectations. Would absolutely not recommend.

The best thing sbout this hotel was the staff, especially Lincoln, the manager, who helped us make a date change though it was difficult to do. The front desk staff were very conscientious as well. If you need anything, just ask. Liked the breakfast, especially the fruit, yogurt, and a few Vietnamese dishes. The bathroom was not well designed. The toilet paper roll was unreachable from the toilet. The shower was hard to adjust as it was far from the entry and you couldnt adjust the temperature from the outside. Imagine that the water coming out of the faucet is hot and you didn’t know. Your feet would get scalded!

We were pleased with the friendliness of staff (especially Jase at reception). Breakfast buffet was a great way to start off each morning. Location is extremely central.

This is the second time returning to Vietnam to join my family after 8 years.
I didn't expect much from a low budget hotel, but I think this is one of the good value hotels with quality beyond expectations.
Located on a centre of old quater, near the walking street, but not blocked on weekends, the street outside is very noisy but inside the hotel at night it is very quiet.
Friendly and attentive staff, even calling in the middle of the night to ask for more bottled water is still provided.
The room is a bit small, but with such a good room price, it is impossible to have a spacious room in old quater hotel, I understand, but still very clean and comfortable.
I don't understand why there are still customers who are not satisfied, for me it's good, highly recommended.

The room was a size of a closet. The pictures shown on Expedia was falsely advertised. It didn’t look anywhere like the pictures. The hotel was very outdated. When we asked them for things such as extra towels, we called them twice & they never brought it to us. The hotel also had a certain stench to it. The surrounding area of the hotel was in the middle of old quarter which was a very busy & unsafe to walk around.

Location is great. Very close to Hoan Kiem Lake. Must visit Hanoi on a weekend, as the roads leading to the lake are traffic-free.
I am pleased with the family room layout and size.
Checkin was smooth.
Facilities like Functional gym and sauna were good.
Breakfast spread is fair.
Cleanliness of the room however could be better.
Small ants were crawling the tea/ coffee table. One of the nights I discovered the bath towel provided has stains on it.
Otherwise, everything else is fair for the price.

Room-Small and cosy for 2 pax. Don’t expect as big as the picture shows. Is camera effect.
Sound proofing of room- can’t hear any noise from bustling activities outside but able to hear noise/sound coming from room corridor.
Facilities-Will have water supply cut problem on and off due to the water pipe. This problem will also affect the other hotels in other part of old quarter.

1st night we got there they put us in a room on the 8th floor, only problem is the elevator only goes to the 7th floor and I hv a bad knee. I complained and they upgraded us the next day and put us on the 5 th floor.
Breakfast the serve is ok.
Hotel is noisy from the outside noise... traffic, roosters, chickens (yes we were shocked when at 5 am Mr Rooster started 😫😖🤬
They hotel convinces you to use their Travel agent who is at the front desk. We booked. 4 Star ⭐️ Cruise in Halong Bay for 3 days 2 night on what we were told was a dining fancy cruise experience..... it was not. The food was awful. We were lied to!!! She robbed us! Very disappointed in the whole experience! Other people on the boat also complaining!!😡Walkable you most tourist destinations in this area. Right by lake. Great location!!

We stayed at the hotel for four nights and the staff was absolutely lovely. Location is very convenient, if you want to be close to Old Town and enjoy walking to the sights. We left for an overnight trip to Halong Bay and were able to leave our large luggage at the hotel for no extra charge. Breakfast was impressive and Vietnamese dishes changed daily. In addition you were offered a range of western breakfast options. The rooms are nice, if you consider price and where you are. They do have a few quirks, like a toilet installed super close to the tub in one room, a rain shower in another room where taller persons have to “limbo” to wash your hair, but overall they were updated and clean.

Shower is pretty much permanently hot.

When I came back late at night I had to knock for 15 minutes until the reception guy woke up. I have to feel guilty for waking up someone on my vacation, that doesn't feel good.

The lift takes an eternity.

Probably one of the worse hotel experiences I've ever had.

Not remotely close to being worth the $76 AUD I paid.

Great location. Breakfast was very nice, more than continental, with eggs and pho special order. We were in two connecting rooms in the far back of the hotel. Quiet - no noise from the streets. Each room had it's own entry with separate key cards to keep up with and a small hallway between the two rooms that could become private after locking with a real key - something else to keep up with ;). The rooms were very tight - not much floor space to place suitcases. The tub/shower combo in our room (the king bed only) was poorly designed and water would spill out no matter where you turned the shower head. The shower in the other room (1 single and 1 double) was much better. Towels and toiletries were nice, free water and coffee. There were small ants in both rooms and we all got quite a few bites while sleeping. I don't think they were bed bugs because I checked the mattresses. Bedding was comfortable, nice pillows though.

Every morning, rooster cries from about 4 am and we waked up because of that sound. There were lots of ants everywhere. Great location only minutes walk to the lake and it is right in the old quarter. Staff were nice and friendly and breakfast was very nice.
We booked two rooms on the 2nd and 3th floors. Sound proofing was terrible that it became too noisy as other guests walking by and the roosters in the morning competing to crow. We had issue with hot water and we complained about the conditions of the rooms. We then were moved to ‘better rooms’ on the 6th floor of the hotel. Rooms were better but still we could hear the roosters in the morning and one of our rooms had issue with hot water AGAIN.
Having said that, our beds were extremely comfy and we totally enjoyed our beds.
The hallway, the lift and staircases need better cleaning.
Overall it should be between 2-3 stars for me.

Quiet Oasis in Busy Hanoi

I stayed here for five nights in December. The hotel is in the hectic old town, but my room was very quiet. The room was a decent size and everything was clean and worked well. The tv had cnn and complimentary wifi that worked well. There was a mini bar with drinks and snacks at good prices. The breakfast was good and had a wide range of Asian and western food. Eggs were available for a couple of dollars. The people who worked there were extremely helpful. They took us to the ATM to get money and took us to the restaurant the first night. They booked tours for us that were charged to our room. This is a quiet oasis in a very busy, chaotic,and interesting city.

We loved our stay at L'Heritage Centre in Hanoi. As we arrived the staff who greeted us were incredibly helpful and kind, they made our stay really comfortable and made our impressions of Hanoi even better than they already were. The staff were willing to help and held a smile at all times during our stay, the hotel provides a lot of services including tours and currency exchange which was really helpful and came in handy when we needed money exchanged at late/early hours. They were extra accomodating and were happy to keep our luggage bags overnight while we went on our cruise even though we weren’t paying for that night which was great. The location of this hotel is also in a PRIME position and in the centre of everything in old quarter. Room was clean and comfort bed with nice window city view. Amazing hotel!

Customer service was excellent - Staff members went out of their way to ensure we have a good trip. Thanks to My and her team for their excellent customer service. The crew went out of their way to find transport options for us between Da nang to Hoi an because our hotel there had options higher priced than usual. They even provided a good city tour for us which was unexpected and convenient. I would recommend this hotel.

Location was great and seemed to be in area that was accessible to many other places and things. Ms.My went over and beyond to accomodate myself in booking my excursion. The staff were great from the start of my communications to booking out, Manager was an excellent communicator on emails as I wanted the Halong Bay trip booked and airport pickup and drop off arranged. The breakfasts and rooms were as we had hoped. Everything about our stay here was excellent, amazing staff as customer service here cannot be beaten. They truly do go that extra mile to make you feel very special.

Could be better for the price. Got there, had booked a room with a big TV and a King bed. They put me in a room with a small tv and queen. When I requested a change, they put me a few floors up in a room that had two standard beds pushed together and no room for anything else and only a 30\" TV. There were obstructions in the hallways and the whole place smelled a little like more. Mediocre WiFi... couldn't use my chromecast due to poor connectivity.

Rooms beautiful and food amazing. Staff was absolutely delightful -- could not have been more helpful. I had to extend my stay an additional night because of the cancellation of other plans and they were very accommodating -- upgraded me to a much nicer room (larger and with a bit of a view) at only a slightly higher rate. I would definitely stay here again.

The staff were excellent, very helpful and attentive. The location was great, bang in the middle of Hanoi, within walking distance: the Lake and lots of shops, restaurants, bars, you name it...
Hotel rooms: very spacious. We got upgraded the suite room. Very clean, nicely decorated and view the city.
Good breakfast too
Definitely will return to this hotel next time we visit Ha Noi.

The hotel is situated in a perfect location in which you can walk around and explore hanoi during the day or night.

The location was perfect. We were given a warm welcome on arrival, with welcome drinks and lots of information about the hotel and local area. The staff helped us to organise a transfer to Halong Bay through a very good company. They also offered for us to come back and wait in the hotel before leaving for the airport. We were very impressed with the service and the kindness of the staff. Would definitely stay here if we ever return to Hanoi.

All the staff were very friendly and went out of their way to serve us. When we checked in there was a small queue and we were led to relax at a table in the restaurant while they got our room ready, and we even had a welcome drink. They had a convenient brief guide to Hanoi and tourist tips which we thought was especially useful for foreign visitors who were not used to the hectic traffic and cutthroat prices at markets. I found it to be very cozy and comfortable, with many modern conveniences such as good air con, nice shower.

The hotel staff are very helpful and friendly and allowed me to check in a little sooner given my flight arriving earlier than expected.
Good location in the old quarter.
I was upgraded to a suite which was lovely and really helped me to relax during my stay. No noise so easy to sleep. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in the old quarter in Hanoi.
