We have stayed here many times, & love the resort! But this time when checking in we were charged $26 more than agreed price with Expedia. We have never paid more than the Expedia negotiated price. Desk help would not even consider waiving overcharge.

Rooms seem to be outdated now, after staying in them numerous times. Bathrooms needs a remodel e.g. peices falling off the bath.
As well as the usual resort fees, there is a new $10 a day 'parking' fee, which is beyond a joke.

Great place to stay near Disney and Universal. The resort is huge with multiple pools and plenty of activities to choose from. Walmart is basically across the street and it’s about 5 minute drive to plenty of restaurants. Staff were excellent and resort was well taken care of. Would stay here again.

The rooms are a good size, have everything you need. You can text the staff if there’s something you need or if you have a question, super attentive.
Love the dunes pool too, great pool bar.
Our second stay here and will definitely continue to stay again.

Lovely property with a number of pools and great rooms. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Only issue is the 1 restaurant is at the golf club, well away from the rooms and is pickup only.
There is a pool bar with some food at the main pool but only during the afternoon.
Very happy though as room had a good kitchen with everything we needed.
Will be back next year

Rooms were very large but I like to be able to
Sit on my patio and look out and relax, we couldn’t do this, we had a fenced in patio with only a patio table.
We asked for a 1 hour late checkout and it was worse than pulling teeth. We finally got it after two attempts. The place was not busy at all.

We have always gone to mystic dunes for many years and first year we have ever had to call security twice. Nose level around our place was crazy . One night until 2:30 am and another night folks fighting in there room and a dog barking for hours. No one at desk seem to care because we booked through Expedia . All they said was “ Oh wow that’s to bad” we were very disappointed in that.

We were down for a cheer competition, we did not have time to use the amenities at the resort, but wish we had! Our unit was clean and comfy, and had everything we needed for the weekend. Really enjoyed our stay!

I am an owner here and weeks prior to my stay, called and emailed them to get ONE night stay - no response. I checked into a different hotel (Kompose) which was deplorable, unsafe and expedia didnt help. I saw this property on expedia so I booked to have a decent, known experience. I told Mystic Dunes at check in that I was an owner. This didnt matter since I booked through expedia. They gave me a tiny, non updated room that smelled. I asked for the building I have stayed in for 20 years and they demanded an upgrade fee. I will be bringing this up to the BOARD of Hilton.

There is nothing that really sets this hotel apart from the others that we've stayed at when visiting Florida. As a matter of fact we'd prefer to stay in one of those then this hotel again. The room itself was nice but, the resort fee should cover parking it does not. There are no hot tubs on the property and all the pools close early except for one. So if you want to relax after visiting theme parks all day, you cannot.

Very spacious updated rooms, beautifully maintained property, nicely stocked units with all the essentials, beautiful pool and great tiki bar. Worked well to visit Disney Parks a couple days (~10 mins drive) and have a few day just relaxing pool side at the resort. Loved having full kitchen to make some meals, also really appreciated having in-unit washer dryer. Would definitely stay again

This hotel has truly become our favorite place to stay in Orlando. Every time we come, the experience is just amazing. The place itself is beautiful, but what really makes it special is the people. Everyone who works here is incredibly kind and welcoming they make you feel right at home and always leave you wanting to come back.

Miss Patricia has always been so sweet to us, and Valentina is just the kindest person, truly lovely. I feel so grateful for the entire staff because they go above and beyond to make every stay feel special and comfortable.

We can’t wait to come back again

The property is very nice and clean. All pools should have a bar, especially the adult pool. We had to drive to the main pool as it was the only one that had a bar. We were woken at 7:00am both days of our stay due to very loud lawn maintenance work. We could also hear everyone on the exterior stairs and talking as they walked by. We found out upon arrival the shuttle to area parks was no longer available.

We had a fantastic stay at this property, staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and one of the updated rooms on the property. Pools were clean with good loungers. Unfortunately on our last night at the property we discovered a large American cockroach about 2” long. We caught and killed it but it certainly dampened our stay.. no signs of pest issues at the property.

Rooms are great, they are spacious, and well kept however, they were not cleaned daily, only every 6 days which is why I most likely will not be coming back. The bedding and towels, were also in a very poor condition, incredibly thin, some with holes and stains.

Don’t know where to begin but this is not the same resort I stayed in last year .. the room was different very dated … sink stopped up .. internet was non existent, trash in wall ways .. and a dog barked for 6 days starting at 5 am and no one could ever find the dog … I reached out to management several times I will say the managers were very nice and understanding but it was pretty much a done deal at that point … to spend so much money for that resort and no compensation back was a shocker!

Customer service was horrible , accessibility to the pools was bad . The property is difficult to navigate and the front desk people are not much help - they all seemed irritated. And you have to deal with aggressive Timeshare solicitation in order to receive your parking pass for the property, they will not take no for an answer . Definitely not what you’d expect based off of the pictures and the reputation of the Hilton brand .

We booked a two bedroom with golf course view and was also expecting cook to order breakfast as advertised on Expedia. They DO NOT offer cook to order breakfast and we didn't realize we didn't have a golf course view into several days of our stay, but it was too late to change rooms. At check out, I mentioned I was upset about paying for a golf view and not receiving it, but they indicated it was a \"special\" request item and based upon availability. I sent them a print out of my reservation that clearly stated golf course view, but that was not good enough. The cook to order breakfast was evidently Expedia's fault. So, I asked for late check out as an olive branch, since we had an ill person in our party and was expecting a change in flight plans the next day....even an hour would have helped. Yet again, they couldn't accomodate us. Should change the name to Mystic Dud.

Family trip. Great kids pool. Would go to Disney: then come back and swim. The room was awesome. It was huge, all the amenities. Great condo with kitchen and dining area. Convenient parking. Easy to find. Only complaint is picked hotel bc had shuttle to theme parks. Then once check in: find out no shuttle to any the parks (cancelled for some unclear reason) we had rented a car: so we were ok.

Room was very clean.

Gym had tons of cardio equipment but lacked weight machines. It did have dumbbells and kettlebells but often they were used by others and not available.

They use a convenient text option for communication with the front desk, but I had to ask for dish soap a couple times.

Kitchen was nice but toaster was old, dishwasher worked but left dishes soaked after cleaning.

Would consider again based on overall value.

Pool wasn’t very clean and the bar was dirty and smelled bad. Room was clean but there was a bug in one of the beds. Other guests were smoking marijuana in the parking lot outside our room and staff were also smoking around the property and we were told it was a smoke free property. Front desk staff were great and really helped us out when we told them we were leaving early due to listed issues.

My family and I enjoyed our time at Mystic Dunes! The property was clean and our two bedroom apartment was clean and very spacious! Staff was very supportive and friendly! Jemena was amazing and stayed connected with us the entire time of our stay, checking in and making sure our stay was comfortable. Breakfast at the restaurant was delicious, satisfying and affordable . There are many outdoor pool. The one closest to had many seating. I especially enjoyed the hammock! I’d definitely go back with friends and family!!!

We booked a 2 night and the unit looked great. The first night we noticed our white socks were black and the sofa bed (inside) had animal hair all in it. We called for service that morning and told them we would be out all day so they could come and clean it up… guess what… they never came. Apparently the front desk didn’t let them know and the house keeping manager was there at 9:30pm trying to clean it up. It was a great inconvenience for my family and I.
I do have to say that other than this the staff was very nice and professional. I will not be going back due to the lack of detail in their cleaning and the communication breakdown. All we wanted was a clean unit with clean floors that was also free of animal hair.

Upon arrival to check in, I was assigned my unit on the 3rd floor and given a property map. What I was not advised by the night manager was that the building I would be in would not have a working elevator to get my family of 4’s luggage up the 4 flights of stairs. To top off the continuous walk up and down the stairs with two young children I found out that the couple nights it rained our unit’s enclosed balcony allowed rain in and it flooded making it uncomfortable to sit on the balcony. Also upon check in I was not informed by the night manager when she described the 24-hour fitness CTR. that it is in fact not truly 24-hour access as you have to find a desk attendant to allow you access before 6a and after 9p. I did call to address the elevator issue and had to escalate it to a manager Cora which they did ultimately reimburse a resort fee of $234, which there should not be a resort fee in place because this resort allows guests early entry into the one pool with a water slide that has limited chairs to reserve with towels. When trying to go to the activities center to sign out the basketballs, they were all punctured and the attendant advised new ones were on order. To top it off my family had a late flight and I asked for a late check out of 12p and it was as if I asked for a free stay. Ultimately the late check out was granted but I had to speak to the asst. general mgr., Emily. Overall, the stay was not what was expected after going on a timeshare pitch there last yr.
